TERRIBLE experience. The owner has two chicks working there that have no idea what they are doing. And I left a pair of sunglasses that they decided to either steal themselves or let get stolen they were “safe until you pick them up” and the owner / manager is conveniently “out of town” every time I call. This place is over priced and garbage. Spend your money elsewhere.

Bought gear here to replace missing cif, but cif would not accept due to the niin being wrong. When trying to return the gear to gearhound, they have a strict no return policy and sent me away. I do not recommend when trying to replace Cif gear, maybe if you want to get gear for air soft or paintball, but its straight garbage

When your in this part of town, search no further for rifle parts, survival gear, ammo, optics, to complete uppers and a vast selection of knives, including rare, high end, custom knives too. After discovering this new location for GH (they recently moved) I dont bother going anywhere else for my gear or AR platform needs. Highly recommend!

This place Definitely has the extra cif gear needed for a turn in. If the item is 20$ on your receipt from cif. Gear hound has it on the shelf for 67$ the prices at this store beyond outrageous. LET alone a Nape pad! 27$ on a iff receipt these dudes charge 150$!!!

Prices are really gouged but if you are looking for gear to turn in for your cif return, they have a wide selection. Uniform items are great there but if you need a size that everyone has its very difficult to find one. I was able to find mine and they were very accommodating to helping me out.

Not sure where all these “fair prices” reviews are coming from. Went in to buy a pair of wool glove liners. They’re worth about $8, I expected to pay a premium price, maybe $15 or $20. No, gearhound was nice enough to supply a cheap pair of tan wool glove liners for $50. $50 is absurd! I had to ask if the price labeled was correct and apparently it was. I just left after that.Edit: And before I got a response from the owner saying “that’s based on the auction price” or some garbage, I found my wool glove liners at a different milsurp store in town for $15. You guys over charge and you know it.Apollo Depot has green glove liners for $15 and tan liners for $30. Gearhound has tan liners for $50. You were able to top the absurd price of $30 for tan liners by an impressive 70%

One stop shop for all your plinking and bug out needs.Would of given 5 stars.... Pricing on alit of surplus items and hardware for your recreational tools are a bit high.Customer service from young lady at the counter was phenomenal. A great improvement from my last visit well over 9 months ago.

Ok so Ive been in a lot of surplus stores over the years. You know, dusty, old smelling? Not this site store! Super clean and very very organized. This is one of two of their stores and this one specializes in current gear and some never items. More higher end gear (all were clean and serviceable). Mostly Marine Corps gear but a small selection of other branches great. They also sell quality firearm related items as well. The staff is knowledgable and friendly. This store specializes in current issue items. Their other store is a more traditional surplus store (older issue items) but similarly clean and organized. These owners know what they are doing.

If you don’t mind paying 3-5 times the price, Go here. Great selection! It has most of the item that you need to pass CIF. Tourniquet pouches that only cost $9.52 are being sold for $35. Green insert gloves/pair that cost $3.60 are being sold for $18/ piece. Like I said, if you’re not on a budget, definitely check this place out!

If you ABSOLUTELY need CIF gear in a hurry this place has it. BUT for the love of God check online first. They markup the prices by at least 200% compared to other retailers because they know they can get away with it.Other than that the staff is friendly and they have a good selection of stuff.

If you are in the military and you lost a peice of gear, or if you collect military equipment. This is definitely the place you want to go, they almost have everything. All sorts of odds and ends, if you forgot you needed it they probably have it. And at a reasonable price too. Especially if youre in a pinch.

To try to make a review short and still be able to let everyone know how amazing this place is can be hard. I can only say great things about this establishment. The staff treat you with respect and care. They are very knowledgable and extremely helpful. I will ONLY come to this surplus store for my needs. If you have not gone here, youre missing out.

This place is great, i love it. They have all cif gear needs (short of sappi plates) for a reasonable price. All sorts of marine dress uniforms as well as utilities. They also have a selection of 80 percent lowers, uppers and attatchments. Very knowledgeable friendly staff. The owner is a great guy, very knowledgeable. Good parking, easy access. No public restroom in the store.

Anything you need military surplus is all here great customer service and I love the dog they have friendly and provides a unique and great experience. Cant say enough good things about this place. Veteran owned!!

We called in advance and asked for a piece of gear and the price. They told us $50. We got there and when they rang us up it was $65 but we really needed it asap so we bought it even though they told us earlier it was cheaper. Got home and unraveled the bag and saw the sticker that said $50. But all sales are final. Garbage.

They got the gear you need but overcharge even for making a profit standards. If you are a Marine that is checking out, take the time and just go do a DD200 and have the cost of the items get taken out of your last check. Dont let these crooks prey on you and take the valuable earnings you need to start the next chapter. There is a reason they have a so much unanswered complaints on the Better Business Bureau.

Has mostly all cif gear if you are missing it. Prices are fair. If you dont want to do a missing gear statement this is the place to go. Always find what i am looking for. Ensure you have the exact nsns you need before going.

Great place to go if you need some surplus items. Its not downtown, so you dont have to deal with the downtown traffic. They have rifles you can build. Being near a Marine Corps base, its going to be mostly Marine issued CIF. However, they do have some Army OCP and other issues gear for all branches (canteen cups, molle gear, etc.). They are going to have a second location with gear as old as WW2.

I found a fixed stock and first aid stuff there plus a lot of other cool military surplus.

This place is awesome with fair prices for all the military items as well as the gun parts. Such good place with knowledgeable people who help with anything you need.

This place has really grown over the years. I love the stock they keep of not only issued gear but also their large Varity of both budget friendly and high end firearm parts. Keep on mind they are not an FFL so you can not purchase firearms or completed lowers through them. Only parts.

They have all the things you need, but mark them up 200℅. A pair of 20 dollar gloves are 57 dollars way over priced. The people that are giving it 5 star are employees dont be fooled.

I wouldnt describe this store as military surplus. Sure, they have some used military gear, but it is priced at a premium. It seems like a nice and clean enough store, if somewhat bare, but be prepared for sticker shock.

Dont come here unless youre absolutely desperate. Its much cheaper to route a missing/damaged gear letter than it is to buy from the overpriced CIF here. If you do not have the time to route it, theyll probably have it here though. But itll cost you!

Friendly staff, very accomadating and willing to order an item if they dont have it in stock. Gearhound will be my go to place for gun parts from now on.
