The absolute nicest staff of any eye store I’ve ever been to. Couldn’t be more accommodating, understanding and fast!

I’m from Vegas and moving to Oceanside. A friend recommended this location to me, so I brought my daughter here to adjust and check her prescription because she’s been getting headaches. Veronica and Cheyenne were very helpful and I’m glad we came here. We will definitely be booking our next exam here.

Great location.Super friendly staff and a wide variety of glasses.They even have a super speedy Express Repair service! They were able to accommodate me as a walk in on a busy Saturday.

My visit to this Lens Crafters location was excellent in every way! The receptionist that scheduled the appointment was very kind and listened to my concerns; she helped me schedule the appointment as soon as possible, and took notes of my situation to give the the doctor. I do not have her name at the moment. Dr. Kolton had very complete examinations, and was very kind as well. I really liked that the examinations covered everything, and were quick and well done. He let me know exactly what was happening, and the solutions for it. The environment of the appointment was very comfortable. When I had gotten my retina scan, the assistant Grace did a very excellent job; made sure all the equipment was cleaned well, went through each test efficiently, and was overall very wonderful. When it came to getting my glasses, each of the associates were all very helpful; they explained everything clearly, had a friendly demeanor, and Derek even helped me configure what would be the best prices, and my new glasses were ready in one hour! As a recap, my experience was awesome: it was clean, non-expensive, quick and had so much quality. The best optometry office!

This review is long over due. Derek is the most helpful person I have ever experienced in customer service. When I get new glasses, he has to be there. He always goes above and beyond. Spends as much time as necessary and makes great recommendations for styles and what goes well with my face shape. Adjusts all of my glasses and is always personable. He is the real deal! Amazing customer service! I had cataract surgery and needed one of the lenses in my glasses replaced with a plain lens to get me through till the other eye has surgery. Not only was this done same day but there was no charge! My husband had two pairs of glasses made a short while ago by them and was very impressed too by the helpful and friendly staff.

Best optical place I have ever been to! Started off with a great experience with Dr Taymans office! Best exam ever! Then they bring you over to the amazing managers Yanela and Veronica! I have been coming to this LensCrafters for many years and they have always been amazing. Their knowledge and excellent customer service has always been above and beyond.

I lost my glasses at the beach and immediately needed to go to the optometrist. I called multiple places and LensCrafters was the only one available to take me in. I go in, fill out a few forms and was being taken care of within maybe 5-10 minutes of being there. Everyone was super friendly and my doctor was absolutely amazing, put my contacts in for me because I had a few pieces of sand on my hands even after washing them several times and he even went to his car to get me some samples of hydration drops for my eyes because they were really red. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for the amazing service, allowing me to see again, and just genuinely making my experience very smooth.

They really saved me today! My father-in-law had a massive stroke and my husband, and I put our three kids in the car and drove 1000 miles south. Shortly after I got here, I realized that in my haste to pack, I only brought contacts for my right eye. Thankfully I had my prescription on hand and even more thankfully LensCrafters has Saturday hours and extremely helpful and kind staff. They helped me avert a major disaster and helped make this stressful time a lot less stressful. Thank you so much!! I would definitely recommend them!

Super fast and easy! Walked in, explained my situation, and they had a new set of glasses ready in under an hour (not too busy at time of order)! Amazing, friendly staff that know what they’re doing! They will be seeing my business in the future for sure!

I had a very pleasant experience at LensCrafters this morning. The doctor who performed my eye exam was excellent and Derek helped choose frames. He was very helpful finding frames that fit the shape of my face. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because its pricey, but the service and frame selection was excellent!

I came in for an eye exam, sunglasses, reading glasses and not sure what else. I had the most excellent service in the exam area with the doctor and the assistant and the best assistance with picking out frames and understanding what looked good and what would work for my needs. Walked out with three pairs of glasses ordered and surprised at the low cost and how much fun I had in the process. Love this place!. Professional and super helpful. Extra shout out for Derek in sales. So patient and again helpful finding me frames.

Ive been a customer of this LensCrafters store for over 30 years. Theyre expensive, but I felt it was worth it because they had the largest selection of frames, could make my glasses in an hour instead of days or weeks, and when something went wrong with my glasses, I could stop in for a quick fix. The last time I got glasses I was told they no longer have the lab in the store and I had to wait days for them. Ok, I was disappointed, but I could live with it.But now, the little nose pad came off my glasses and I stopped in for a quick repair and was told I would have to leave them there for at least an hour since they only had one lab person and he was busy. My vision is so poor that if it were not correctable I would be considered legally blind. My glasses cost $1000 a pair, so no, I dont have another pair to switch to while LensCrafters takes over an hour to do a simple repair that was always accomplished in less than two minutes.In the past, any employee has been able to quickly handle minor repairs or adjustments when I needed them. This time, even though there were two employees at the front desk and no other customers in the store, I was told Id need to leave my glasses for over an hour for the lab person to fix.Im fed up with LensCrafters. Why does it take a lab person to replace a nose pad? Why arent all employees trained to do simple tasks like replace a nose pad? In the time it took the two employees at the desk to tell me how busy the lab person was, they could have replaced the pad five times. LensCrafters isnt what it used to be and Im done.

The eye testing was a piece of cake and Nikki helped me pick put two fabulous pairs of glasses. I have been a patient of Dr. Kimball for the last 3 years. All personnel are awesome from Nikki, Szuszu, Anthony, the person who greets you and welcome in, the person who start your eyes evaluation, the doctor, and the technician thats make your you find a frame that you like and that complies with the requirements of the prescription. Last, prices are reasonable and they have several discounts throughout the year.

My Rx was incorrect. I had to have it re-done at another doctor. My advice is dont by multiple pair or expensive glasses until you confirm the Rx is correct. My experience was a waist of time & money...

Went to get some minor repairs (nose pads) done on my glasses. Free of charge for the repair and replacement pads! Totally unexpected! Nicky (sales rep) had it done in under 5 minutes. Thanks!

My wire frames got bent badly by a basketball to my face. I walked in and was greeted by Yanela. She said, Lets see what we can do. Less than 5 minutes later she handed me my straightened frames, and with a smile I might add. The frames fit better than they ever have!

Service is hit or miss. Positive experience on exam, but poor experiences with any issues, fittings etc. Staff also inconsistent. Some employees professional, some rude. I suggest either Encinitas location or try Costco optical. Took few family members each experience very positive. Much less expensive.

I showed up at 630 to pick up my glasses after driving an hour after work, so excited for new glasses! They were closed early, even though it says they’re open until 7 on here as well as their voicemail. I left a voicemail. It’s been 4 days and no one has called me back. Will not be going to this location again.

Great location, not busy or hard to find. The store has a huge selection. I had a great experience with my eye exam and also the team in the sales floor are all so engaging and fun. I will now continue to come here for all my exams and glasses from now on.

This was the first time I ever had an eye exam. I was so pleased with how knowledgeable the staff that helped me was and how easy the whole process of the exam was. The Doctor was very nice and listened to all of the issues I was having and gave me exactly what I needed to help me through it. I love my new glasses and I no longer have the headaches I was getting before.

Dr. Adam and the LensCrafters crew are very friendly and knowledgeable. Every time I walk in I immediately feel like I’m family. With the knowledgeable staff I can always count on them to make sure I have the best products for comfort and seeing clearly. I highly recommend anyone from getting their eyes checked for the first time to someone who has had bad vision their entire life.

After being a customer for years I recently went in to have my glasses adjusted. It was not busy, 2 customers and 4 employees. While waiting to be assisted I looked at the price of a pair of frames. I did not touch them but only looked at the price. Now an employee acknowledged me and ordered me to pickup the frames and bring them to her so she could disinfect them. I was then told to go sit in the back of the store. I waited around 20-30 for someone to help me. An employee was on her computer and looked up once. When I expressed my disdain at how I was treated I did not receive any apology. It was so disrespectful and I will never shop there again.

The doctors there really are the best. Had an eye exam and Dr. Koltun was super patient and thorough. Then the associates were also very kind and caring, helping me choose glasses even though I never got them. Love the people at LensCrafters, theyre the best!

I came in to get my eyes checked, mainly because I was having a hard time seeing any of my work papers clearly. The young lady Nikki, helped me with my screening for the doctor and was very straight forward and talked me through the process. I’m happy I didn’t need to wear bifocals, but I did need reading glasses. Everyone was professional, knowledgeable and got me a great pair of glasses. Thank you for the great service.

I came in to get an eye exam because I noticed I’ve been straining to see things that people around me can see clearly. It was confirmed, I needed glasses. I’ve never needed glasses before and didn’t know where to start. Nikki was very helpful and patient with me. She helped me find frames that compliment me. Worked with several of the young ladies while looking for frames and ended up with Derek. All personnel were helpful and informative, Derek took extra care to explain all options for our new glasses. Highly recommend. We will be returning.Oh, the price was right as well.

Nikki and the team were awesome! When I went in, there was a very rude customer. She was speaking to the staff like they werent worthy of respect which is totally unacceptable. However, they kept their composure 100% of the time and handled it better than I would have. Amazing team!

Not too long ago, I was in a pickle, some rather pricey eyeglasses I had, with the flexible/spring-loaded temples broke off! I use my glasses for driving, and I thought that I could just have the lenses taken out, and install them in another frame. I came into the store, and Nikki Nealy-Melendez assisted me. I can be very stubborn at times, and in the automotive world, we can just order parts and replace what is needed. I asked a few times, Tell me again why I cant just buy a frame? Nikki explained the cutting process, and how the lenses are aligned with my eyes in the frame. More importantly, in 3 years my eyes changed & the prescription was different. So even thought the other frames were nice, Nikki was direct in response and assured me I was making the proper decision. She even chose more modern styled frames to choose from, versus the What I usually get look. So Im delighted with the excellent service, the insurance billing she took care of, collecting my payment, and the Classy Oakley Eyeware I now sport! Every time I come in this store, I love the energy of the staff. I brought my son in for his exam to get glasses before school and the doctor was very helpful. Even though he didn’t need a prescription, we got him some blue blockers. Thank you for the service during this crazy time.

Every time I come for an exam appt, I have to wait ~1 hr even though there is no one there. Employees on front claim to have nothing to do with the examiners. Finally got a prescription but my glasses were filled with the wrong prescription! I was then promised the correct one within 2 weeks, waited 3 weeks and then cancelled. Got in 1 week from another place. I should add that customer service is terrible. Someone can be helping you but suddenly they will jump to help a colleague. Fine....but not for 15-20 minutes; not without at least letting me know they will be away for a while. I have to look around and usually they have stopped to chat or they have stopped by another customer and are cleaning their glasses. If they are helping people at random order, at least let us know instead of keeping us waiting and wondering if the employee was kidnapped by aliens. This location should either be closed down or the employees required to get training on efficient customer service.

I went in there to browse because I was right next door at Jamba Juice and ended up with an eye exam because someone cancelled and my new favorite Rayban glasses. It was only an hour process for my glasses to be ready. Saved myself time and money! Amazing team and doctors.

We went for an eye exam and ended paying $185 for 2 adults WITH Eye insurance, lost receipt and they wont help me find it, very bad customer service.

Great customer service, great experience, especially from Derek, he was super nice and genuine. He did not try to oversell me on anything and just tried to find what I needed. I did find the checkup, contacts and glasses too pricey, however even with my insurance.

Nice Service, great selection of frames

First time getting glasses, no idea what I was doing. Came in with a prescription from Costco where I went for a cheap first pair but had bad service so took it somewhere else. Came in thinking I would spend way more than I wanted. Cheyenne took the time to go over different options and explained everything in detail, didnt hesitate to answer all of my questions and got me a pair without taking my whole wallet. The worst customer service and staff works here. Horrible experience every time I been here. Do not waste your money or time here. The staff are rude, uneducated and extremely unfriendly here. I suggest the owners to close their doors or hire completely new stuff who are competent, friendly and have customer service skills if they wanna continue doing business. I am never going again here that’s for sure.

The whole Team at this location was amazing. I had the opportunity to get assistance from several employees and they were all great with helping me selecting my glasses frame, booking my Contact Lenses + Glasses appointment and following up with me over the phone. Emily & Autumn are the only two names I can recognize since they are on my receipts but everyone is doing a really good job there. Been I client there since 2016 and will continue to visit that location.4 Stars because my Burberry Glasses were from the floor, not new untouched. I was aware when I made the purchase but was shocked to hear there were no more in stock. Also, the case that came with the purchase didnt appear as brand new. Adhesive on the leather case and a stain inside. Also, the microfiber cloth was not included.

My glasses snapped in half in the middle of my work day! My vision is really bad, so I cant function without my glasses. I just moved here recently, so didnt have a connection to anyone. My sister has been going to LensCrafters for years and highly recommended them. She was right!They got me in for an eye exam within an hour of my frantic call. They had a great selection, so I picked frames I really like, not just settling for something. The price I will be paying, all in, is the same as I paid for the pair I just broke 4 years ago! I havent picked up my new glasses yet, but Im hoping the rest of my experience will be just as positive as it has been so far.

Very unsatisfied with the services here. I made an appointment for a contact lens eye exam. Arrived on time and waited over an hour past my scheduled appointment time to see a doctor. While I had no problems with the optometrist, he finalized my prescription that night. I was quoted one price and they charged more (apparently due to an astigmatism). This would have been fine, however, I was never informed it would cost more. After three weeks, I was experiencing massive headaches and not seeing clearly.I called to schedule a re-check appointment. The person informed me that they only do re-checks during the day and only during the work week. I cant miss work and was told that there was nothing they can do. VERY UNSATISFIED. Would not recommend.

Dr. Z for my eye exam was young but professional. He gave me a good prescription and advice to get both reading glasses and distance. Love my frames I got here. Good return and protection policy. All employees I spoke with were pleasant and outgoing.

Well Im a repeat customer and Very disappointed with the whole thing I chose 2frames 1Oakley 1 Ray Ban i it wasnt until after my exam that they informed me they could not give me the Oakley which is the one that I had chosen and really wanted I declined the glasses and chose to get contacts its been 3 wee without a call so I called him today and they still dont have anything unacceptable Porsche service

The only reason why I went here was because it was one of two places that had a doctor I could see on Saturday. I called another location and told the girl on the phone that I feel like my eye had a tear. She explained I needed to see someone as soon as possible. When I initially called here they answered promptly and set an appointment for me. Ive been waiting for over an hour and still havent seen the doctor. The reviewer who said they dont care is right. They didnt want to see me because I wasnt getting a full exam which means less money for them. They took other patients who came after me instead and didnt care. LensCrafters needs to hire more people to run this location and hire people who care. They should have just told me they didnt have any appointments available if they didnt care to see me. It would have saved me and them a lot trouble.

They were really nice and by far the best place Ive been to for an eye exam. I would definitely recommend. They do seemed very booked so the assistant was working with me about five minutes after I walked in but after she asked me all of the questions I sat for about 15 minutes to wait for a doctor. They just need one or two more people working there.

My wife and I are very pleased with the exam, staff, customer service received and quality of the product. I will definitely recommend this store and staff to all my family and relatives.
