This store has helped me out a couple times. I found a drip irrigation kit here, with battery activated timer, which works really well for my application.More recently, we just had our window screens re-screened by Ace. They did a nice job on them, and the prices were reasonable, based on each frame size. A big plus was they saved me the hassle from doing this sometimes frustrating job myself.Also, the folks who work at this Ace Hardware are knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to help with whatever home project youre engaged in.

So i like this place although its kinda pricy but if you should ever need to do a refund or have a face to face with the morning manager just expect to get nowhere. He has to be right even when he is definitely not and im probably the most passive person in the world yet he manages to get me going if you should ever have issue here deal with it in the afternoon where they will hapily help

I ordered several screens. I was told that it would take 7 to 10 days. On the 10th day I called in the morning and was told they were not ready yet. 3 hours later, a call was left on my answering service stating that they were now ready. I went on Sunday to pick them up but they had closed early. I went Monday morning to find that they were the wrong color and the wrong amount. I told the owner/manager I would take the wrong color if they could finish the order and deliver them to me. He said No. I could sell the screens that were made with the wrong color and we dont deliver. There is a sticker on their window saying they deliver. So, I said, okay, please make them white. (I figured since he could sell them, there was no harm in getting what I ordered). He said they will be ready tomorrow.I am waiting to see if I am going to get a CORRECT order today. Picked them up a day later and they were all too large and had to be returned. Brett was great about it. But I suggest they fire the other manager who lied and wouldnt make concessions for their mistakes.

A great hardware store with very solid selection considering its not a big box store. It is appreciated to have something of this scale to serve the neighborhood.

I was pleasantly surprised to find an Ace Hardware in our beautiful Oceanside. They still offer hard to find hardware that neither Lowes nor Home Depot keep in stock. My new go to!

Very convenient location and with the friendliest and most helpful staff. When I need a particular screw of fastener I almost always can find it here. They also have some fun household decorations and a few pieces from local artists.

At this location parking can be a challenge. Other than that this is where I go to find the best selection of fasteners that the big box stores dont carry.

Great store. Has that mom and pop feel aut the store. But if you are looking for something specific to purchase, you should take the time and look for it yourself. After 3 employees told me they were out of what I was looking for, I was able to find it while they gave up and stood around talking with one another...

Ace is a really wonderful place. Employees are always extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They usually have just what we need and it is faster to pop in than searching the larger hardware stores.

Showed a product in stock online, couldnt find it anywhere else, so I called to verify before I drove 30 miles to pick it up. I left directly so maybe 40 minutes later I get told, in store, sorry we dont have that. The first big guy was almost rude about it, gave me an oh well. The second guy apologized, but theres nothing to be said at that point. Multiple people involved, and I wasted time and money for a complete lack of competence. Sad that you cant trust even calling to verify

I worked for Ace and this particular location is probably got the worst service Ive ever seen in a sentence the worst representation of that company young kid that was working there was nobody else in the store and he could not be bothered to help me at the spray paint cabinet there was literally no other customers thats only one of many examples of the service that you can expect at this particular Ace Hardware

Wow I dont know if I got the owner or manager or what, but as soon as I got in the store I was greeted by a man. He asked me if he could help me find anything. He took me to each item on my list, surprisingly they had every item. He was very pleasant and when I was done paying for my stuff another man carried them across the street to my car for me. It felt like I was back in the 50s with the kind of service I received. Very kind atmosphere. I dont live in Oceanside but if I can find a reason to return I definitely will.

The store I go to has a wide variety of items from produce to frozen food, dry food and canned, and make up and cleaning items. You name it, theyve got it, including holiday decorations. I buy all my greeting cards there. What costs $7.99 at a regular store is .99 cents. If you see something you like, buy it, because stock changes quickly and you may never see that item again. The lines are sometimes longer but for the money, you cant beat it.

Love Ace! I can always find exactly what I went in for. There are always plenty of employees to help you and theyre really nice. Its so much nicer to go downtown to pick up something than go to one of those giant home stores and wander for miles!

Everything you need and great service

Nice size store but the one thing missing is shopping carts, only one for the entire store. The sad part and the reason given to why only one cart was the lack of space. They expect all their customers to carry all their purchases to the front registers. As a new resident in the area and a Senior with a disability, I will not return.

I was very pleased with my visit to this store. I was given a lot of information on how to proceed with my refinishing project. Guy i talked to had used products himself I was very pleased great store every time I go there its the same way to.

Personnel are helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are slightly high but location is very convenient and have most common DIY needs.

A local hardware store with friendly service and reasonable prices. A pleasant alternative to the mega hardware stores.

Service is always good!! But they arent re stocking ace brand oxygen for me for some reason. Sadly I spend around 100 a week on those things and they are needed for what I do. I told them 3 weeks ago they were running low. Now I have to drive 30 minutes to the next ace because they cant seem to keep an ace brand item stocked. I hope they can re stock that soon for I am only a block away and its a very convinient store for me to go to.

I give this location 4 stars only because they have a decent amount of products the neighborhood parts stores dont have. They are expensive so be prepared for that especially their nuts and bolts. Their other products are somewhat not competitive so you can get many of the items elsewhere unless it is an emergency situation.

I really like this place its nice and cozy and they have everything I needed a good price.

Customer service is always outstanding but its frustrating that alot of their merchandise is over priced. They are convenient for those who live in the immediate area tho. Not having a vehicle makes it difficult to get to Lowes or Walmart or even harbor freight. So thankful and grateful Ace is right up the street!!

This place is awesome! I went for Traeger grilling supplies but discovered a massive store (seems small from the exterior) with friendly staff. Ended up wandering around to see what else they had that I didnt need! Got what I xame for plus a few extra items. So nice to have this place and avoid home depot.

I love going to Ace Oceanside,they just dont always have what I need. I wish that they did because I hate going to the big box stores. Plus what other hardware stores sell bait? None to be exact.

Great place to come for all home improvement needs. Its much closer to Pendleton than Lowes or Home Depot. Ace doesnt have EVERYTHING Lowes or home Depot would have but if you are looking for stuff thats fairly common, you will probably find it here. I come for for nuts, bolts and washers for cars all the time. Ive never had issues finding the hardware I need.

It isn’t as big as Lowes or Home depot, but they give you a down to earth feel. They have a very friendly staff who work hard to help you with individual advice.
