I would give seven stars if I could. The only motorcycle shop for me. Ive been doing business here for almost a decade now and trust each person in the shop. Trust is important when youre on a machine that your life depends on. The people here know that and treat their customers accordingly.Scott, behind the counter, definitely knows the answer to your mechanical question, no matter what it is.
Highly recommend this shop, specifically since Im a master automotive technician.I needed a rear tire to be mounted and balanced at the very last minute after having someone slashed my rear tire.they got me in the last minute.Very friendly and professional shop with fair pricing.
I brought my bike to these guys when I first bought it, and just had them replace my tires and chain. Solid prices and excellent craftsmanship keep me coming back. My brake lever, drum, and clutch were tweaked when my bike was serviced and I am very appreciative of that. All without asking, too. These guys are bike gurus and awesome people with families. Give it a shot for yourself.
Had my Kawasaki carbs rebuilt here and the bike runs brand new, found a new local shop to take my bike 100 percent satisfied.
Cool place, Scott was very helpful and we chatted up a bit.
Some of the best people in North County! Great people, really fair prices, and all around nice to do business with.I dont go any where else, and neither should you.!
Honest Friendly folks who know what they’re doing. And not overpriced on parts or service. 👍
Good people friendly place
I am a long time costumer, I knew the previous owners and of course the new ones. I have a KLR 650 and all my needed works and services were done by this shop.Mike who owns this place with his Dad are great guys, extremely knowledgeable and professional also great people in the same time. Kaleb his always enthusiastic and ready to help, Scott the best person you could have knowing bikes to a small details. These gentleman are taking care of my bike and I recommend this shop to anyone, anytime.
Good an helpful service without question. I love it...
I do not want to speak early, my first time in this shop but most likely this will be my main shop in the next decades. I will definitely update this review if not. Really friendly people, 5 star experience. I always prefer to choose small local shops where you count as a customer. They know you they treat you well not like the big chains... If you are looking for a shop I highly advise to check out this one.
Helpful friendly and knowledgeable staff
Nice shop to get ridding gear
My 04 VTX 1300 ran terrible couldnt figure out what the problem was took it into the shop not only did they diagnose the problem and make the repairs. They did it for a really reasonable price and my bike runs just like new cant say enough good things about these men and the shop
Very helpful and knowledgeable
Super friendly and knowledgeable. Ive been a loyal customer for over 20 years
I’ve been going to Oceanside Cycle Supply for over 3 years now they have always been there for me since my first little mods to engine swamps they are always coming in clutch also they work with you and care about your experience love going there only place I’d recommend ever going to that’s why I still go to this day even if I’m a hour away now
Great guys, forgot to put a bolt holding my gas tank though...
My Husband got a flat on his way home from Orange County we didnt know what to do so I called Oceanside Cycle Supply and I told Jim what was happening and that we might get there a little after they close because he was waiting for the tow truck to come, Jim said no problem. So I showed up about 5 min before they closed to pick my husband up and Jim invited me in the office to sit down. The tow truck took 40 minutes longer then expected Jim graciously wait for almost an hour after closing so we didnt have to have the bike towed home then towed again the next day. They are great and really care about their customers. I highly recommend Oceanside Cycle Supply!
Very professional overall. They go out of their way to help you and are very honest. Old school customer service & very knowledgeable staff!! Highly recommend!!! They have helped myself & friends on several occasions.
Wednesday of last week on my way back to LA from San Diego, I had a flat tire on the 5 FWY and had to be towed from Del Mar to Oceanside. We arrived at Oceanside Cycle Supply after closing, it was almost 6 PM so I was going to leave the bike and rent a motel room. When one of the mechanics, Michael, heard I was going to spend the knight, he offered to stay and change the tube and tire. This was accomplished with the assistance of his manager, Spence. To have a flat at that time of day and have a shop react the way they did makes for a very happy ending. It is great to find people that think outside the box. I made it home safely and slept in my own bed.
Mikey rules .His Dad as well. And scott knows where to find your parts for cheaper than online ....if you dont wont or cant wrench on your bike . Take it to OCS or over pay.
New exhaust is awesome. Thanks guys!
Love these guys they treat you great, i will definitely be bringing my bikes here in the future to get them worked on. Thanks!!!
Always helpful!
These guys rock !. I have been going there for years.
Just got done getting my tire changed. Everyone there was unbelievably nice and helpful. Had questions with oil changes and a few other things and they helped me out with whatever I needed. I will definitely come back if I ever need anything done. Place is great.
DO NOT RECOMMEND called for an estimate on tires and he couldnt tell me what tires I needed and insisted I should know. Gave him my bike and year and he still couldnt figure it out. Poor service and a lack of service and effort. Horrible
Scott and team are epic! Great customer service, feels like you hanging with your neighbors when you go in there. GREAT SHOP!!!!
These guys are awesome. They will keep you on two wheels and they fix things pretty quick with a reasonable price. My go to shop!
Good people at the store I found they would direct you to places that might be able to better serve you and that to me takes integrity or theyre just so busy they dont mind nevertheless locally owned and operated for decades good folks treated me right
Just the best small shop ever!! I have been going there for years...
These guys did an awesome and quick job with very short notice! Excellent service and a great price! Thanks guys!
Cool peeps...great prices...still diggin the old Oceanside vibe! Keep up the good work!!
Scott, Peg, Jimmy...the whole family here is great. They have been helping me keep my crew out in the desert riding since I first walked in the door in 2005. Parts, Gear, tires! If they dont have it in stock, they always get it quick, and are very knowledgeable.
Excellent customer service, expertise, and the prices very competitive. That it is a family owned shop is a really nice perk.
Friendly, helpful, and highly knowledgeable techs and Scott in parts is a living, breathing Oceanside landmark--Ive learned so much about bikes from him over the years. Great prices on tires & installations too.Makes me wish I were an orangutan so I could use my feet to give them FOUR thumbs up.
These guys are the best. I had a problem with my electrical system that they fixed, after diagnosing, and did the work beautifully on my 1986 bike. Now it runs great. If you have a classic bike, dont bother with anyone else. This is the place.
One of the oldest motorcycle shops in Oceanside. Great service at the best price. Get to know your mechanic by name and trust that they wont take advantage of you.
Lucky me I found at these guys I was driving next to the freeway to came over 2 patch my tire right on time everything perfect great service fast friendly and the boss is the master right there he knows a lot
This shop is ran by a husband and wife who really know what they are doing. Make sure to check them out before going to a larger dealership. They gave me a great deal on my bike and included the gear I picked even though they had to have it shipped in.
Im actually stunned..I came here cuz I saw good reviews..maybe its just their friends..I just moved from Chicago n bought a bike..took it here for some simple electric work and an oil change..that charged me $75 for the oil change and another $200 for the electrical work that was never done..told me that I needed to give them another $300 for a stater..I said no thanks as I couldnt afford it..when I tried to take the bike home the battery was dead and my speedometer and gauges disconnected..took the bike to another shop, stater was fine..just needed a new battery which I already knew..did the electrical myself and fixed what they tried sabatoging..again, dont know how they got all these reviews..they were beyond crooks or maybe the customers just didnt know any better..one of the worst experiences
These is the shop where u want to order a new bike or buy a nice running used bike,The main owner knows what hes talking about and is super genuine,I always shop here for anything I might need!
Great place and tons of cool bike partsat a reasonable price.
Concerning the Cycle Supply, Spencer and the rest of the crew are pleasant and respectable. A cross-country, overlanding trip brought us to the San Diego Area, and after 4000 miles we had a few bent parts. Amidst delightful conversation, and recomendations, the staff fixed us up and sent us on our way. Delightfully helpful.
Wow! Scott and the guys in the service center really impressed me today. I stopped in to talk about rebuilding my 1986 Honda 500 VFR and they referred me to someone they said was a better fit. In my opinion a bike shop that is willing to turn down work for the benefit of a customer is the ultimate in customer service.Once I get the motor straightened out Ill likely go back and look at tires. They have an amazing display of tires at Oceanside Cycle Supply.Keep up the great work! Scott Fleming - Flemings Auto Detail
I have done business with them for a few years and love the down home friendly feel you get here. Keep up the great work.
First time there, Didnt try to upsell me. Awesome and helpful. Sold me a 4 dollar part that i installed myself. Ill be back
Its the best place Ive found for parts and accessories for my motorcycles over the past 25 years.
Loyal customer since 2012. very knowledgeable and helpful employees with competitive prices. im going to keep shopping here for my bike maintenance needs.
Had 2 sets of Dunlops installed here. Great service and quick work. Will be coming back.
Great service. Caring attitude. Fair prices.
Took in my bike to get the front tire replaced and the staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. Would recommend to any of my biker buddies
Ill be taking my bike here for now on, great service.
Great group of guys, very knowledgeable, always a big help.Highly recommended!
Ive got a couple bikes that they have helped me with. My latest is a vintage Honda that had some odd modifications to it. Not only did they help me trouble shoot some problems it was having, they spot welded a part for me. They went the extra mile and it did not cost me an arm and a leg. Most of the time they did the work and trouble shooting on the spot. Spencer is the best!
Best service and highly recommend them. Got a flat heading back to LA from SD at 5pm on a Saturday. While every other bike shop in the area told me they’d get to it on Monday because they’re all going home for the weekend, these guys told me to come on down and they’d get me back on the road ASAP so 1 didn’t have to abandon my bike for two days and taxi back to/from LA, etc. They had my bike of the tow truck, tire swapped and me back on the road within 45 mins. They stayed late and saved me a ton of time, money & headache with no quantifiable gain to themselves. Just old school good people looking out for others because they can. That is very rare today. Thank you guys, you saved me a ton.
My drz broke down on the 5, and thankfully it was close to these fine gentlemen. they went out of the way to help me out, and provided great service to get me back on the road - 10/10 would break down here again.
Nice mom and pop shop. Fair price and good service dept.
Super friendly staff. Knowledge and timely with dignostics. $$$
Amazing guys there. 100% trust your getting the work done right!!
Very helpful and friendly crew. Parts and knowledge I needed, big help in overhauling my 1980 Suzuki
Helpful but super slow to get back to you
Outstanding motorcycle shop their staff are very nice.
Good job tuneup fantastic extras little stuff no charge ✅ brakes 👍
These guys are the best. So friendly and helpful. Best N. County moto shop around
Awsome placer to take your BIKE toó. Great customer service.
Great service great prices and Mike and Nic know their stuff
Love this place. Great service and trustworthy.
Great people and excellent prices. I compared their prices to amazon afterwords and they had online prices beat.
10 Star service. Been in to their shop twice in 2 days. First time was at 5:45 PM yesterday to get a can of chain oil, they climbed over bikes which they were putting away cause they were closing at 6 to get the chain lube for me. Then today I brought my dirt bike in to have the clutch re-bled (after Hypersports supposedly filled and bled it) at 5 PM. Spence help me unload the bike and took it right in and put it on a lift. Within 15 minutes, Mike had the clutch bled, topped off the coolant, adjusted the air screw and it was ready to go. Spense took it for a quick test ride and said its good now. And, they did it all for FREE-NINETY-FREE!!! THANKS OCEANSIDE CYCLE SUPPLY! You guys are the Bomb!!!
Scott and Cory are top notch, great customer service and thorough knowledge of parts and service. Thank you.
Awesome customer service, price isnt to bad and they always try to help save a little money.
Bought my SV650 for a great price two years ago and OCS has done all of the services since. A great place to buy bikes and parts but the great service and workmanship keep me coning back.
Fantastic Customer Service from both the parts and service departments.
Took this bike in for a tune up. They charged me for new spark plugs during said tune up, and two days later my bike wouldnt start. I replaced the spark plugs and it started right up. I like to think that a mechanic should be able to change spark plugs properly if the shop charges 75 an hour for labor.A few months later I gave them another chance and ordered a rear turning light. They ordered me the wrong one and Scotts explanation was that he cant see which Triumph part hes ordering so he has to guess. I wish he had told me that before I relied on them. I used the turning light because I needed it for the coast to coast trip I was taking the next day, so now Im stuck with a turning light that doesnt match the others. So if you want to have your bike worked on by unreliable mechanics, or you like the excitement of wondering if your going to get the right part or not come to Oceanside Cycle Supply where the service is always unreliable.
Reasonable labor rates, but more importantly, theyre honest! I always take my bike here.
After being overcharged and my bikes butchered by local dealerships (Triumph 955i Tiger and BMW R1200GSA), I was so afraid of have a pro touching my Yamaha 1200 Super Ténéré, I was about to skip the 25,000 miles maintenance. In particular the valve adjustment, which is a delicate and potentially disastrous operation. But I have it done anyway, by a small local shop, specialized in used motorcycles resale: Oceanside Cycle Supply, Oceanside, CA. They have four (maybe 5) mechanics, all of them experienced by more than 10 years of practice. Although they have never touched a Yamaha 1200 Super Ténéré, they took the job, pulled the manufacturer manual and did everything by the book. I think they spent way more time than they charged me, but the result is just perfect. All plastics were remounted right, no screw were marred or loose, all parts to be changed were replaced. I took the motorcycle for a 1700 miles ride just after, and the bike never seemed so powerful, and trouble free. So if you are looking to find a decent mechanic shop to do the job right for your motorcycle, here it is.
Great people and great service.
This guys are awesome, very personal with their customers! Took my bike in for a full serivce, turned out i didnt have a air filter in it... so everything was fixed drove it away and was having idel problems. Took it back and they stood behind their work and did what ever it took to getting it running right. Thank you guys so much! Wouldnt want to take my bike any where else.
Very helpful with mechanical issues and not ready to jack up repair costs.
Professional service from some local professionals. Ill be back here again!
The nicest knowledgeable people who treat you right
Excellent professional and friendly customer service with quality products and reasonable prices
Great service at reasonable rates.
Dropped my bike off here to find out why I had no power going to my bike. Got a call over a week later telling me my rectifier and stater went and that with parts and labor it would be 650 dollars to fix. Obviously me knowing this is bullsit I went to pick my bike up. Got there as they were closing and found my bike jammed in there main room with about 30 other bikes. Once they pulled it out I found that the plastics werent put back together correctly and they were just hanging loosely missing screws. One guy played dumb saying that all they took off was the tank and yet the other guy told me he took off the whole left side. My bike also had and I swear on everything I love, at least 4 or 5 deep scratches that werent there before. It was like the room off the plastics and through them on the ground or they scratched my bike up as they pulled it in and out of there tiny shop and probably scratched it up on Someone elses bike. I went to San Diegos house of motorcycles and they fixed my bike for 400 thats parts labor and tax out the door verses this place charging me 650 - 700 is what the quote I got over the phone. DO NOT GO HERE. They treat your bike like its some toy seriously the worst expiriance Ive ever had with bike shops. Cant get over how pissed I was when I saw how scratched up my bike was. STAY AWAY!!!!
First time at OCS, friends had recommended them to me, went in with a bad Schrader valve on my rear tire, fixed me up in ten minutes, at no charge said to come back when I need tires, which I will, good to know there is still some service in this world unlike the Dealer service centers.
Awesome service with a small-town smile
Best motorcycle service in North County.
Perfect! 👌🏻
They loaned me a helmet to get home once when I towed my bike to their place.
The staff always helps me out above and beyond each time I bring in my scooter for repairs and maintenance. Thanks for bringing me back on my two wheels!
Had what I needed at a fair price
Good service 10/10
Great service
The people there are awesome!!!!!
AWESOME
My bike died a quarter mile from this place I roll it Im 5 minuets before closing and they fix it right there and then staying almost an hour past closing 10/10 would break down near again
