This is such a great shop! It feels very cozy and the atmosphere is very nice. They had product that I have been looking for for a while now. They were extremely nice and if I could give this store more stars, I would.

My partner and I came in from out of state. The shop owner was extremely friendly and engaging, and the store has a very laid-back and inclusive feel to it. There is a great selection of product, and we will definitely be visiting again whenever we are back in town. Absolutely 10/10.

I have been wanting to learn to play MTG but know very little about it. When I came in the owner took the time to explain everything and gave me a lot of recommendations. He also told me about how they have game nights there and it’s all about everyone having a great time. Awesome first experience coming to the hive, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Take the whole family very often, its a great place to hang out, play games, or just get something new or old. Staff always makes you feel like family and is really helpful. Never seen the place anything but clean even when they bring in good for tournaments on occasion. If youre geek dont be meek.And if you should meet a giant named Mike blame him,I LOST THE GAME!

Great place to go, hang out, shop comics, MTG, etc. The owner and staff are all genuinely nice people. There are events planned for the shop to host MTG games and other things of that sort listed on a calandar. This is a must for you to stop buy and unleash your inner nerdom.

We got zombiecide a good game and it is usually sold at 60-50$ but we bought it for 15$ 😁😁😁😁😁

Owner was very knowledgeable about board games and made great recommendations. Not a ton of inventory on hand board game wise but tons of comics and Magic the Gathering cards. Store has a cool vibe and they have scheduled events for board and card games.

Super friendly, excellent assortment of comics, and my go to spot for Magic The Gathering! These guys are extremely knowledgeable in the game, its mechanics, and all its sets. Also a good assortment of packs and singles, and always the spot for your new set needs!

Great service and source for Magic The Gathering card and sets. They dont sell planeswalker decks but boosters and full boxes are sold. Plenty of comics are also sold here, most from DC, Marvel and more. Manga used to be sold here but Im not sure if they do anymore. As of early September there wasnt an anime shelf up anymore. But things might de different now. Many table top games are also here. DnD being one of the main ones but the list is longer. Prices are decent as they compare prices with TCG.com for all their MTG singles.

An awesome family owned comic book shop. The owner does a great job of remembering his customers and what kind of stories they enjoy. His employees are often hanging out with their friends in the store which can be annoying but they are friendly enough if you can get their attention.

Staff is awesome. Selection is growing rapidly. They always seem to have something going on.

We bought MTG grab box and it was very cool because it had all the cards that I have been wanting. I love the comics they have there and the relaxed area to play Magic or just to hangout. They also have a calendar of events where they teach people how to play D&D, Comic sales, and so much more. I definitely recommend visiting this place because youll never know what youll find!

Very nice people. My kids typically find stuff they want there. I wish there was a little more collectible/ figurines available, or more anime stuff. It is a great place for magic and comic books.

Huge fan of anime, marvel, DC soooooo I understand the comic book family however I have never walked into a place that made me feel so awkward I truly felt like I was intruding in these peoples space ...I had visited the hive before and was very happy with the merchandise and customer engagement I received. This time was different no one greeted us, no one asked if we needed help we were not acknowledged at all . They were to busy talking about food so we left I did have questions to ask but it felt like I was an inconvenience to them, so patriot games got our business today .

Not too bad of a store honestly. My first visit was the other day, and I got 4 comics for 2$.They have a pretty good selection of comics, including older ones made from 94 and a few older for 1$.And then one box that has 3/1$ comics in it.They do magic nights, sell some magic cards, a few dice, and some bigger newer comics as well. Over all, not a bad store for my first visit.They have a whole room in the back set up with tables and stations to play online games with your own laptops. They have DND books, they sell some games like super munchkin and a few other table tops, card sleeves and they do sell some snacks and drinks in store.Id go back for sure.

They are open to the public again, and they have a nice selection of table top game accessories and games. The owner took over fairly recently, and he was very helpful. I will go back again for more products as I find a need, or to have a chat.

The owner is well versed with comics and games. Very helpful. The place is a nice size and carries not only comics but games as well. They offer the ability to demo many games before you decide to buy. Areas to hold campaigns. Clean and well organized. Its a growing bussiness, so still has room for growth regarding inventory, thus I think with time and word of mouth, the place should be even better.

Has a pretty good comic selection, and a decent mtg following but for a Star Wars Legion approved store it seemed to be lacking in any Legion Minis or items apart from 2 foam figure holders, also relatively small board game selection in general, but that might just be due to the pandemic well definitely visit again in the future to see if anything changes.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! I thought there were no actual comic book stores here but apparently there is and its the best store ever! Honestly, I rate it 10 stars but since theres only 5 then that will suffice. But go!!! The employees are so nice and helpful and even give whole hearted recommendations.

Dropped in on a whim with my granddaughter- we loved it. Very welcoming and friendly. People there playing and having fun but we didn’t feel like we were intruding. If we had more time it felt like we could have even joined in if we wanted. Found very age appropriate comics which made my granddaughter’s day. Left with an armful and a smile. Will definitely be back!

Everywhere I go I always seek the local comic book shop. This is one of my favorites! The owner is very friendly and helpful along with the rest of the staff.

They have lots of comics and board games. The board games are priced very well none of those small store crazy price gouges. The owner and staff are always kind and helpful. They do game nights and art lessons there too. This place is awesome!

Fair prices on trades, loads of selection, not intimidating - they are really knowledgeable but dont make you feel bad for not knowing - and that applies to EVERYTHING they carry! I really love this shop and could go broke because its fun to go hang out and shop!

I really enjoyed seeing The Hive jam-packed with people on May 3rd, free comic book day! I also really like the new way the store is laid out.

Awesome experience. Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. My sons insisted on dressing as superman and Spider-Man, and they were made to feel very welcome by the extremely patient staff. Love that Odessa finally has a comic shop again.

A great place to by material for any table top game. Very friendly and helpful staff. As well as a lot of weekly game activities like dungeon and dragons on Wednesday night.

As long as I get a pull list, Ill be happy. Sparse selection of Valiant titles, which is to be expected, but the rest is all cherry. I love it. Improvement suggestions: increase used trades, maybe an email or fb setup for a pull list.

This is not much of a comic book store. No back issues of anything. I think this place is more of of gathering place for folks to play card games
