Had to give 1 star just to be able to post my review. I bought a Mitsubishi Eclipse 2006 on 9-25-17. I paid cash and bought it as is. They started out asking 6999.99 but came all the way down to 3500. Should have been my sign to run but I didnt see it that way. 8 days later and after putting about 1000.00 in it Im driving home and the car dies on me. I see smoke coming out from under the hood so I popped the hood open and the car was on fire. I quickly close the hood knowing more oxygen is going to make the fire spread faster. Called 911 and then set there and watched this car go up in flames. Its a complete loss at this point. So I called the dealership and told them what happened as well as sent them pictures and video of the car burning. Ive called numerous times never getting Miles the manager on the phone. Im always told he will call me back but never does. Ive been more than patient to only set here waiting for a call never returned. Obviously they think Im stupid and going to let this go because of the fact I bought car as is. Heres a little knowledge for the public. Although you may purchase as is, you are protected for the first 30 days as the consumer. So now that i am going to be taking them to court and i will win my case now they can also pay for what i put in it and not just refund what I gave them for the car. A simple courtesy call just to touch base with me might of avoided all this. But since they seem to have a problem facing their wrongs then they will pay for their wrongs. I would not recommend them to anyone. This was a very dangerous situation. Im handicapped and cant move very fast so this could of turned out disastrous had I of not kept my cool. If I would have had any of my grandchildren in the car with me it may not of turned out so well having to take the time to get them out of the back seat. And they wont even call me so next time we talk it will obviously be in court. Do I recommend them to anyone? Not even to my worst enemy......

I was in the process of buying a car from General fleet Brokers, a few days after having the car the heater stopped working. So while I was in Dallas I visited family and they helped me change it, the car over heated on my way home that night. I talked the owners son in law Miles who said to take it over to one of the other lots and they would check the problem, they did and replaced the radiator. The heater was good for a few days longer then once again it quit. I tried getting hold of Miles but he would not returning my calls so I eventually went in, he told me to take it to the shop and they would find out what the problem was, well I didnt have another car so I was not able to just leave it there like he wanted me to. He told me we dont give loaner cars so I told him that I was going to be unable to leave my car there. After having the car for about 2 1/2 months it died. I could not get it started. I tried again to get hold of Miles, who once again was not available left a message for him to call me back (which he never did) got a hold of one of the managers at the other lot who was very helpful, he sent some guys to get my car. When they arrived to my house they were in a regular truck...they pulled it back to the shop (not towed, but used a tow strap and basically drug it to the shop) I was with out a car for about a week. I finally got the car back and it was fine for the most part but still jittered when I started it for about 30 seconds before running normal. After having the car for 3 months still having problems with it, I took it back. What I am trying to say is if you but a car from them make sure you have a good mechanic look it completely over before putting any money down on it.

This, for me, turned out to be the shady car dealer that your family/friends warn you about. I trusted them and they sold me a car that the transmission went out the day after I bought the car, the Chevy dealership I took it to, told me that General Fleet had just cleared the codes to make the car drive able for a short time. It is better to pay a little more for a used car at a large Factory dealership(Ford,Audi,Toyota,Cadillac,GMC etc) because they have more liability at stake. I have never had an experience like this since purchasing 4 other used cars from factory dealerships.

Went in with my mom to find her a vehicle when we found her one, and asked for the price we were asked to go inside. He then asked for all her information as if we were already buying it when in realty we just wanted the price anyways she gave him her info he came back and said congratulations your are approved he showed us the price it was 13999 it was an 04 Chevrolet trailblazer with 200000 miles far from being in good condition he was very pushy on trying to make a sale and when i told them i didnt like the price his boss got mouthy. kelly blue book has this listed for 7000 retail value the price he was trying to sell it for was twice that. I dont recommend this place to anyone unless you want to overpay on junk vehicles.

I had a strange visit to General Fleet Brokers this morning.I went to look at a Nissan Xterra that I had seen the day before while driving by. I looked on the website for specifics, and found that they dont post prices online (red flag #1).I stopped by today. looked at if far a few minutes before a salesman came out (it was unlocked).Exterior was in mediocre condition. Some dings and scratches. Plastic was faded, but thats very common with a first generation Xterra. One tire looked fairly new, two were decent, and the fourth was almost bald (being a 4x4, it needed a new set of fairly expensive tires). When I opened the door, an unpleasant stale odor greeted me (red flag #2). The interior was absolutely trashed. The upholstery was coming apart and every seat (front and back) was heavily stained (red flag #3). Some of the dash panels didnt align with one another (red flag #4). It was just bad.In hindsight, given the smell and staining to all the cloth surfaces, I wonder if this truck had been flooded. After some time, a young man did come out. I asked the price and his response was I dont know (red flag #5). He told me he was fairly new, and the manager was gone, so he couldnt give me a price (red flag #6).He did volunteer that when it came in, it was barely running. They had to do extensive repairs to get it going (red flag #7).There is no way, even at an extremely low price, that I would ever consider this truck. Even if they did extensive engine work, I would guess that between the transmission, 4wd system, suspension, electronics, etc., this truck is a ticking time bomb.I would avoid GFB.

Their main target is the Hispanic community bc they know that for many, it is very difficult for them to obtain a vehicle. Si no habla Ingles, no se confie de estos vendedores bilingues rateros!!! Solo robaran su dinero!! Es fraude este lugar!!! They will try to convince you that the deal is legit but in reality they are just trying to rip you off.
