My experience with TAS Goodyear have been great. They have always been honest with the repairs they have done. If they find a problem with my vehicle they contact me tell what is rather or not it needs to be fixed right away. There has been times by the way I took months to fix the problem. I also have made the repair on my own. They treat their customers with respect and in a professional matter.

I am so impressed with TAS Tire & Auto! They 100% have a new customer! My tire has been going flat for weeks, so I brought it in and they pulled out the TINIEST nail in the entire world and got me all patched up in 30 minutes. This place is awesome! I dont ever trust mechanics but after going there to get a interlock device which by the way is the best place to get one, I got to know the staff and management I like to work on my vehicle a lot myself and a couple of the mechanics will actually give me tips that have came in handy several times and dont try to BS me to have them do work on it. But honestly I have full faith and trust in these mechanics they are great! Ive never said that about another mechanic. I dont trust really any of them except these guys

They told my wife it would cost us about 1200 dollars to do a timing belt installation and that is a little outrageous when we are on low income and they have no common heart so Ill be letting word of mouth fly around. So there business can go down the drain.

When I took my tire in for repair today the person at the desk of TAS Tire was not wearing as mask. Utah’s hospitals are at a breaking point and doctors and nurses are exhausted. I cannot believe a business would refuse to abide by a mask mandate and put others at risk. I will be purchasing new tires in a couple of months but will not purchase from TAS tire again due to their negligence concerning Covid restrictions.

Took my chevy S10 a while back. Engine had an intermediate miss fire. I was struggling to find the problem. They said it was the cables going to the engine as well as some other work. They said they would replace them. I left, got home the problem I went in for still existed checked the engine block had the originals. Paid $600 for bad service. I made the repair myself after finding the cable. Got it at an orielys shop. I dont reccomend this place.

We were thinking that we needed a new starter. Through their diagnostic process they asked us to bring our other key for the car. The second key that we took them got the car to start. We are extremely appreciative that they didnt replace the starter when it didnt need to be done. They give the type of HONEST customer service that you want from a car shop. THANK YOU!

I have an older vehicle that I had a family friend fix a small thing on that was making my check engine light go on and it was on for so long it actually burned my check engine light out. So I took it in to have them just replace the little light bulb behind the dash because it can be a pain to get back behind the dash to do that.Well what do ya know? they try telling me something is broken and making my check engine light come on and its going to be upwards of 800$ to fix. Well I have a good family friend whos a mechanic who said WHAT? That should only be a 192$ job and he did it for me for 50$.Dont go here if you ask me

Last month I took one of my cars to TAS for a heating and cooling problem, that proved to be pretty major. They did an excellent job at a fair price. I have been taking my vehicles to them for tires and repair work for 17 years now. You do not do business with a place for 17 years unless you are very happy with their work. I highly recommend TAS to anyone. A great shop and a great bunch of people. Lee Warren.Update: A couple weeks after this work, one of the new parts failed. TAS got my car in the next day and corrected the problem with a new part (and about 2 hrs of labor). I expected to have to pay for the labor, but was very happy when Chet informed me there was NO CHARGE for anything. TAS really backs up their work!!!

Fantastic, old fashioned customer service ! 1st time here but it wont be the last! Just found our new go to automotive repair & tire shop. Had an issue with an alignment not properly done by a Goodyear shop in Colorado. Discovered the problem when back to Utah and referred to these guys. WOW! They diagnosed and fixed the issue very quickly and at not charge to me whatsoever (FYI....the Goodyear nationwide warranty program is fabulous and just another really good reason to go here). Ive been coming to TAS for all my automotive needs for years now and I couldnt be happier with their service. Their prices are very fair, they never try to upsell you on service or parts, and Ive seen them work very hard to help accommodate customers of limited means. This is also without a doubt the best place to buy tires. The tire prices are very competitive, even versus online sources, and if you buy tires here all of your tire maintenance is free, like tire rotations and repairs. Ive had three holes in my tires in the past few years and the patches have been free. These guys also dont nickel and dime you for simple fixes. Theyve zip tied my silly splash guard back up more times than I remember for free. The mechanics here are all very good and weve never had any problems. Seriously, if youre looking for a good honest mechanic, TAS is a real winner. These guys operate with such down to earth integrity I trust them implicitly, and you should too.

This shop was the most affordable, and they were able to fit me in to their schedule the next day. Ive been bringing my vehicles here for over 13 years and I always am treated very well.Ken is the master technician!I would highly recommend these his to work on your car.Recently I took some rotors for my car to a local parts shop and they told me they couldnt turn my rotors. Brought them down to TAS and they turned them.Great place. Great people.

This place is awesome. After Les Schwab told me it would be an hour and a half to even take a look at my tire which was leaking, I decided to give this place a call. They told me they could start working the second I got there. And they were right. I waited for about 40mins for them to finish. They told me it was glass in the tire. And they werent sure if they could fix it. But they did manage to fix it. They were very informative and friendly. After they completed it they didnt charge me anything. I was actually stunned. I think it may because my tires are made by good year. Also just wanted to mention their chairs are surprisingly comfortable

Went in and had emissions test done. Has on site registration particularly convenient if your plates have expired. Tires new and used. Certified mechanics working together can do minor and major repairs. Nice bunch of people. Have become friends with a few of them. Our family has been doing business with them for about 30+ years. Feel a bit old after that last sentence. Lol

They are courteous and honest. They work quickly and have done an excellent job every time Ive been in. Highly recommend them to anyone.UPDATE: TAS is my go to mechanic shop. They dont try to sell you on stuff you dont need, but will give honest advice on what needs to be fixed. This last time they caught that one of my tire walls was bulging and the tire was potentially about to blow. I was able to get new tires and saved a blowout on the highway. Highly recommended them.

TAS on 17th and Washington is one of those businesses you get lucky enough to find, and then you never leave. The work is top-rate, the workers are friendly and funny, and the prices are always fair. They never over-charge or invent problems to pad the bill, and the job is done quickly. My mom used TAS, and I do, and Ive got my son-in-law going there now too. Theyre the best.

TAS has taken care of my cars for over 10 years. It is easy to get an appointment, the staff is always friendly. There have been times when Ive diagnosed the problem with my car. They politely tell me what the issue really is and dont fix something just because I told them to. It makes me feel that they appropriately (and honestly) assess the needs for my car. With my old car, they went out of their way to find the right parts at good prices.

Honest Service! I had an oil change done at another business because I had a coupon, and of course it came with a complimentary inspection. They gave me a list of things I needed replaced and repaired. So I took that list to TAS as thats always been where I take my cars, and they looked my car over and told me I didnt need any if those things done. They could have fixed it all and Id have never known otherwise. I think that is pretty amazing service right there. That was 10 years ago and Ive been going ever since. Hey are also very friendly and fairly priced.

TAS saved the day when our Food Truck was threatening to not make it to the next event. They got our rig running great and were very mindful of our limited time frame between engagements. When I picked up the truck they gave me a step by step run down of what exactly they did to diagnose and repair the issues complete with mechanical exhibits and explanations. Pricing was very reasonable as well.

Started coming here at the recommendation of a friend. I have an 81 VW, 2017 GTI, and a 2017 CRV. Brent has taken care of my cars, new and old. From fuel injectors to on the spot renewal Registration, this guy does it all! If you have a European car, Older car, newer car... it doesn’t seem to phase these guys. I recommend TAS for tires and service of all vehicles. Brent gives it to you straight and doesn’t try to sell you on what you don’t need. A true honest mechanic shop!

TAS was recommended to me over a year ago by a few buddies that were mechanics. The visits I have had previously have always been pleasant, the staff seemed knowledgeable and very honest (something I was looking for in particular). I recently took my 2001 truck in to have it looked over in preparation for a move across the country where I was towing close to 6,000 lbs. I had asked them to take a look at everything to see if it was in working order to which they said they would. Upon arriving to my destination on the coast of North Carolina my truck broke down literally in the middle of nowhere about 45 miles away from the nearest town. Upon getting my truck to a shop they informed me that my fuel pump had gone. Now I did not expect TAS to know that my fuel pump would be on its way out. The mechanics did inform me that my fuel filter looked as if it had not been changed in many years (I have only owned this truck for 1 year) and my fuel injectors were in dire need of a good cleaning. While not the sole contributor to my fuel pump going out, they did say a regular cleaning and change of the fuel filter would have lengthened the life of my pump. Now $1200 later with parts, labor, and an after hours tow my truck is back up and running. The mechanic told me if a shop were to look a truck over for such a drive (2400 miles) towing 6,000 miles, my fuel system should have been looked at.

Fast, nice, no issues. Will definitely be coming back.Update: I have been here a few times, this shop is the only place I’ve had good experiences with mechanics. Thank you!

I have never had any issues with Goodyear (TAS) like I have with other shops; Chet and his crew really know how to treat their customers. This is one shop that goes above and beyond to ensure the customers happiness.... I have never been treated unfairly or taken advantage of in anyway; they provide rides to and from my home free of charge, call me when the car is ready and their quick and honest. I have taken my car to Chet at TAS for years, and have never had any problems, they stand by their work, and treat you like family... these are just a few things that I have NEVER experienced with any other company.I actually had work done with another company (worst mistake ever) and kept having problems with the parts they “fixed (twice) and everything was still under their warranty. After fighting with that company for awhile I made the choice to pay full price and have it done at TAS so I know my car was fixed correctly (and it was much cheaper then I paid with the other company), I will never go to another shop again!!! Not the cheapest maintenance in town, but they are the best.We had our timing belt, serpentine belt, water pump and the oil changed. Only took about 6 hrs and they were ready for me to pick it up. Even took me out to the car after I paid, to run some diagnostics for me to see if things were still okay (Looked fine, just a little too advanced on the injector timing; Ill fix that later at home, its not hurting anything).I was referred by a friend, and I will refer my friends when they need service (or Tires). Everyone seemed to be on the up-and-up, friendly, and proficient (They have a few mechanics that are familiar with the Diesel Volkswagen maintenance and know what to watch out for).

I showed up with a flat tire. Even though they were busy, they took the time to pull my car in, get that tire off, fix it, and send me on my way. The whole process took maybe fifteen minutes total. And its not just the fast and efficient service; TAS people are funny, friendly, and always welcoming. This is one of the best customer-service oriented businesses Ive ever dealt with.

TAS Tire and Auto really went above and beyond the call of duty when dealing with my nightmare of a tire warranty issue with another local vendor. Chet and Alan handled my initial visit explaining the process, with Alan calling the Goodyear Warranty Center and getting me an awesome credit towards replacement tires. When I brought my vehicle in the next evening to get the tires replaced, mounted, balanced (and also an oil change), John and Brent picked right up where Alan left off the day before, and even set me up with a qualified Goodyear rebate as an added bonus! I have been coming to TAS for years and they have always been great to work with. They give you good accurate information according to your needs, and they always try to find you the best deal.My most recent experience was particularly great because I called on a whim hoping to get my regular tires switched out for my snow tires (which they were already storing for me free of charge; great, right?). When I called they didnt have any appointments available same-day, but after going back and forth between other days and times, they fit me in anyway.

I came in Saturday with a dead battery. TAS Goodyear got me in right away. I realize they were really busy and could have told me to come back Monday but they didnt. I had a Doctors appointment Monday that I could not miss. Thats the kind of people they are. They care about you. Im extremely appreciative of TAS Good Year.

I had an appointment for 10am for 4 tires mounted and balanced. I didnt leave until noon. They didnt get my vehicle in the bay until 11. I was the second in line at the counter right at 10 am and no car in front of me in the bay. Staff was professional, but couldnt care less.

These guys have been very helpful with my Subaru. They have a lot of patience and theyre very unique and polite when talking with customers. Although it may not be the best place to take subarus, they still did what they could to get it running properly. Overall theyre good technicians with years of expiernce, they get you in and out at a decent price. I recommend this place to first time buyers who want to get their car checked out before officially buying, and people who need a quick tire, or oil change. I also suggest for those who have major mechanical work to just find a different place to go to, theyre often very busy.
