The were an On Spot station so the registration and sticker were provided, which is a huge time saver. I forgot to call to check on the status and when I did, they were closing in 15 minutes. But not to worry, these guys are pros. They took my payment info over the phone and when I arrived, my car was ready, parked outside, and the paperwork and registration sticker were on the seat. Woodruff always makes you feel like they care. They squeezed my daughters car in for an emergency repair. Shes just starting a job as a school teacher and they put her at ease with a quick fair repair.They have always fixed us up and this is why they ate forever our repair shop. First, 5 stars for an automotive shop is pretty impressive, second it there were more stars Id have clicked them all!!! Great people doing true and honest work, you guys are amazing!

Everyone deserves better service than this place. I took my older SUV in for a large oil leak and some spongey brakes. They recognized the massive oil leak and repaired it, which they did pretty good on. However, the brake repair process was horrendous. Rather than start with a Brake Cylinder repair (~$250, parts and labor included, this first solution makes the most sense), they yanked out the calipers, rotors, brake pads, and shoes (nearly the entire system) and the bill shot up to almost $900. At first I was quoted $700 for everything (oil leak repair included), that skyrocketed up to $1,400+ after they kept saying that it needed all new parts. After 3 DAYS OF IT BEING IN THE SHOP, I told them I was going to tow it to a shop that actually cared and that could fix the problem they kept neglecting. They started offering discounts on labor and parts, only after I told them I was losing patience. When I took the SUV there, it was still functional; Within 1 day of it being with them, it was unsafe to drive from the shop UNTIL THEY DID ALL THE REPAIRS.Notice how many 1 star reviews started getting left near the end of 2020/beginning of 2021. This is no coincidence, theyve gotten worse and worse. I have no idea whats going on in that shop. My cousin who recommended this shop (he claims they did excellent service years ago) is now mortified with this hack job.Good job on the engine leak, awful job on brakes. This is extortion, plain and simple; youve been warned.

Took my daughters car there when her ABS and electronic power steering lights came on. They found the problem very quickly and they did the research, found that it was a recall item for that car, and sent us to the dealer to get it fixed (free). I have been taking my cars to them for years, they are honest, trustworthy, and know what theyre doing. I highly recommend Woodruff Auto Service!!

I first found these guys a few years back and have taken my last 3 vehicles here and I currently have my vehicle I just got at the shop and no matter what the issue is they will take the time to do the research and figure out the issue, they are fair on the prices they give and do outstanding work, a lot of the time I would normally fix my vehicles my self but once I got diagnosed with cancer I couldn’t do it anymore and they are the only people I trust with any of my vehicles or my family’s and friends vehicles, everyone I talk to about cars I always recommend these guys.

These guys are awesome. Car fixed properly, the first time. Parts were cheaper than I could by them online, and the labor cost was more than fair.

This place is a joke!!! Please don’t take you car here if you do I’m sorry... They will screw you over and then try and charge you more money because they can’t fix it or find the problem . When they mess up they won’t even try to help you out on there mistake like it’s your fault they can’t fix it... I hope this place goes out of business they have terrible customer service and they don’t look out for there customers.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

I hate needing too have my vehicles repaired, but thankfully these guys are here. I have been coming here for years and have never had a problem with the service or ethics. As for value they are the best i know of. They are an excellent combination of great work for a reasonable price. They are also fast and reliable and able to get you help in an emergency. Over all the best service shop i have ever found. The only things i wish were different would be being open on Saturdays and a bit closer to where i lived. I am willing to drive about 20 minutes to get here because of how good they are.

Theyve always been very clear on the work that needs done, and the price of the repair, and recommend cheaper parts (or the choice of parts at different prices) when possible. We feel very well respected and treated, and as a woman, I have never felt less well treated than if my husband had taken the car in instead. Ive appreciated the honesty and level of work done- never more than is necessary and never less than getting the full job done. We would not think of having the vehicles repaired anywhere else. Ive taken my car to them several times over the past 5 years and have had nothing but a great experience. The only mild issue I had was it did take them 3 days when I dropped my car off one time otherwise the turn around time has been between 1 and 2 days. Two things that stand out is:- lost the pin holding the bulb in my headlight, I needed a new headlight however they managed to fabricate a fix for it. So I avoided potentially high price for headlight.- Ive purchased items from the auto store and they installed them for me when I decided not to do it myself. (this is typically where shops mark up the item price to make a profit)Highly recommended.

I like these guys a lot. A couple instances where the couldnt diagnose a dying Jetta, but they didnt charge us. The vast majority of the time, diagnostics are correct and labor estimates are reasonable. Generally quick turn around.

My wife was headed south on I-15 when here check engine light came on flashing and the temperature gauge spiked. I Googled repair shops near the milepost and found this place with a 4.6 star rating. I gave her directions and told her we didnt have any options but to pay whatever they asked. They were very courteous and when she explained she was from out of town they worked her in. Within three hours she was back on the road with a new radiator installed. The price was right in line with normal shop charges and she says they were very kind and professional. They even came in slightly under the bid price. Ive never had that at a shop before.

I have brought two vehicles in to this company in the past five months and both times theyve left with more problems than when I brought them in. I had two separate people warn me that this happens here and I ignored it and now Im paying the price. Staff is friendly but the mechanics are incompetent.

Woody has taken care of my entire family for well over a decade. One time I took my car somewhere else cause someone else was paying and I will never do that again. Woody finds the problem every time, the first time. There is no process of elimination problem solving causing you to waste money on parts you dont need. His quotes are reasonably priced and he takes care of you!

This place will rip anyone off who doesnt have any experience or general knowledge of cars. I know multiple people who have been ripped off by them telling them they need countless repairs and adding additional things after they said they found the issue. One of my friends who had no real knowledge of cars took his Modded subaru here and they continued to tell him he needed the headgasket done new turbo all sorts or other miscellaneous items that totaled over 2500 dollars so I gave him the number to my mechanic and guess what? All it was was a vacuum leak from the turbo inlet coupler. The total cost was about 80 bucks. So stay away from this place please!!!

They replaced the engine in my Hummer H3. They were informative, well priced, and got the job done within the week.

Never Again! This shop came highly recommeded by family over a year ago. My first time there the owner was professional, timely, gave upfront quotes and most importantly they called within the hour to update me on progress, additional costs throughout the duration of the day. I thought they were amazing.Second time around the experience was anything but timel. We went in for Emissions check & O/D light on, they refused to give us any up front quotes on others things we needed repaired, they didnt make contact with us until after they kept my vehicle the entire day. They wanted to keep it over night. They finally gave us a quote on the additional things we needed repair their parts price was over quoted by hundreds ( because we called their parts ppl to get the part quote ourselves) I asked them about the price discrepancy asked them just to complete the emissions & not do the additional work at this time. We would have to hold off . He told me to pick up my vehicle & drop it off again the following day they would work on the emissions some more. When I had dropped my vehicle off with them had no issue with black smoke pouring out the tailpipe. Now all of a sudden it wont pass emissions with them because the said we needed to spend a additional $450 to get the emissions to go through the 3rd test . This is because they knew they werent getting $700 out of me for solenoids.Upon picking up my vehicle & attempting to leave my car had NO power when hitting the gas. My vehicle was unable to operate efficiently it was undrivable at this point. They had disconnected a connector purposefully. The guy admitting he did disconnect the connector. ( like they are insuring that we would have to bringthe vehicle back in to fix this newest issue) They were very rude to us upon pick up. They didnt want to communicate with us at all. The owner refused to answer my questions & literally just ignored me when I asked him if my car would make it home. He even charged me $55 for having my car there all day even though they didnt even complete my emissions or do any work. Drove the vehicle home to find they cracked & busted my back hatch .My vehicle was major popping & crackling underneath the bottom which stopped.( Very dangerous could start a car fire in our garage) My car smelled inside heavily of oil. Owner was obviously pissed off that I called them out on the parts quote, then I refused to agree to pay the $450 to pass emissions ✔.Heres the thing my vehicle was older & were getting a new one in a few weeks. We didnt want to put unnecessary money into a vehicle that wasnt even going to pass basic emissions test.Very shady practices they knew upfront my vehicle was not going to pass emissions. Instead if just telling us that critical information they attempted to get us to pay for the additional work first before they were going to tell us that my vehicle wouldnt pass emissions. I cant obviously register a vehicle that dont pass emissions therefor why would I need the extra work completed? Heres the kicker We left there & went to a emmissions shop. It passed!!!! I wont do future business with them & would NOT recommend them. Will be reporting them to the BBB for shady practices.

I still keep in contact with Woodfuff Auto, even though I no longer live in the state of Utah. I am glad that a friend/siser did refer me to them, because these mechanic shops around here in Georgia, is all about the money, and because they think that I am a women and dont know anything, they better think again. I still get assistance from them. I just had contact Woody today, regarding a problem with my vehicle. I would recommend anyone to them. I wish that I was living in Utah. I would have them to work on the vehicle. Who ever dont like them, they better think twice.

My experience through woodruff auto was HORRIBLE!! Quoted me a solid on paper quote of exactly how much my car would be to fix, not only did I end up paying for extra additional hidden charges when they told me my car was complete but problem still unfound...(after promising to contact me and give me a heads up before ANY additional charges$$ increased on my bill..which he didnt) and continued to drive up my bill. When I asked them why they didnt contact me prior and get my authorization before continuing on my car he stated well we had no other option and had to charge me for stripped bolts and helix kits...when finding out from another mechanic that it was actually woodruff who stripped the same bolts they tried charging me for...lol. My vehicle had a shake and wobble even after paying the huge bill and did not complete the issues. They even tried the oldest mechanic con in the book, trying to get me to leave my car for unlimited hours because they stated they had no idea what the problem was AFTER Iwas charged $970 and then Woody wanted me leave my car with no solid quote or bid or even idea what could be wrong....and just assumed I would be an idiot to open up my wallet for them to run up the bill on me like I had no idea what was going on. Yeah Woody looks his customers right in the eye and pulls the wool over on you and seems to have every answer in the book when dropping vehicle off as he was an Einstein of auto repair.... Then mysteriously becomes brain dead and cant explain vehicle issues any of the shaking and wobbling (on my car) when it comes to finding the solution and tried keeping my vehicle there almost as ransom like I had no other option but to pick up my car unfinished or pay his unsolid unforeseen hourly rate and leave my vehicle there completely in the dark.!!! Do not become trapped like me bringing your car to Woody at woodruff. It was almost heaven when I dropped it off and slowly turned into hell when I was forced to pick up my unfinished vehicle due to them driving my bill past my budget. Woody even tried turning the tables on me when I came to pay the suprise bill, stating that I personally was the reason for all woodruffs mishaps and sly smooth sneaky business traits and practices. If you take your car to woodruff make sure your ready to have your wallet open and no solid expectation or idea of what could be wrong with your vehicle, and be prepared for hidden charges and smooth mechanic slyde of hand!! I took my vehicle later to TAS auto in ogden and they found the issue within 10 min and charged a fraction of the price. I just wish I would of taken it to TAS about 970 dollars ago...Hahaaa.

Sold a vehicle to a young lady, this guy completely threw us under the bus saying it wasnt a safe car (it passed two separate safety inspections by independent mechanics). Mechanic was rude, over the top, and slanderous. Trying to make money at the expense of other businesses! STAY AWAY!
