I have been to Bingham Cyclery a few times and they always do a stellar job on not just bike services, but in the customer-service area too.One of the best experiences I have had at a bike shop was at the Ogden store. The teenagers--I rudely didnt ask them for their names--were spectacular in both answering my question but also helping me fix a minor issue on my tire. It is always nice to know the employees share the same passion for bikes because it provides peace of mind knowing your bike is in good hands. Definitely coming back here for all bicycle needs.

Just bought 2 E-bikes from them last week. The salesperson who helped us was very nice but did not know as much about the bikes as I would have thought. I explained that I was new to ebikes and asked questions about everything I could think of. I could tell he did not know the answer to many of them. Did not know much about charging the batteries etc.I brought my wife back in and we took them for a ride around the streets by the store. We liked them so we bought them. $7000 for the 2 of them. They sold me on the service plan (that I normally dont do) and a few accessories. They also sold me on a tailgate blanket to get them home.After getting the bikes home I realized the tailgate blanket wasnt a good idea. The bikes were too heavy to easily lift over the gate with 1 person so the next week I took it back.They would not take it back because they said it was used. I told them all I did was take the bike home with it but he said it was a week ago and it had been on my truck. I told him I took it right off my truck after I got home and could not get down to return it until a week later. Not very nice about it and said sorry its usedWell, dont think I would buy another bike from them again. All the other dealers I went into looking at bikes were much more helpful and knowledgeable. After spending $7000 on 2 bikes and getting the service plans and accessories I was disappointed in their attitude.I was very pleased that Bingham Cyclery called me after reading my review and refunded my money for the tailgate blanket. They were very kind and even called me to make sure I knew that I could bring it back. I am very grateful to the manager who made sure I was taken care of.

Michelle and Braden helped us with a Specialized Levo battery warranty issue while we were traveling through SLC on a massive bike road trip. They completely embraced our sense of urgency and made us feel like they were on our team to get the new battery stat. Fully appreciating the red tape when dealing with warranties, we were in and out of the shop in 24 hours. To boot, they were a delight on all fronts. Highly recommend!

This is the fifth terrible experience at Bingham Cyclery for me. They will lie to your face, I dont think its ill intent, just ignorance. Everytime I bring my bike there they tell me they do not have parts and cannot get parts so they try to sell me a bicycle. I had to go to home Depot to buy a 3/4 #8 bolt, 32 threads per inch, a standard part, that Bingham Cyclery claims is no longer made nor available anywhere. Last time I went there they told me they couldnt fix my flat tire, out of inner tubes, 4 hours later I left after they kept wasting my time, I had to go pull the part of their shelves, and then they guy still put it on backwards!Do not go here for repairs, only for overpriced electric bicycles

I ordered a bike from here in April so my son would have it in plenty of time for practices starting in June.  When the bike didnt come in by then (was supposed to be in May 8th) I bought a bike else where and called to cancel my order.  They talked me out of it saying I might as well try it out when it comes in.  When it came in they called and I once again told them I already had a bike, they again talked me into just trying it out.  In neither conversation did they mention the 10% restocking fee.  No way would I have taken the bike home had I known it would cost me $70.  I feel swindled.

I took my bike for a tune-up. Turnaround time was really quick. They communicated well. I had some additional work done, but the techs at Bingham did a really great job of NOT upselling. I really appreciate they tried every solution before resorting to a new part.

I had two bikes with flat back tires. I got excellent service in Ogden from the second I walked into the door to help getting the repaired bikes on my rack. Every cable was checked, tightened, cleaned and analyzed. 5 stars for good old-fashioned customer service.

Have always been treated well while over there.Location sells Specialized and Norco bikes, which doesnt give a ton of variety to the consumer, but at the same time they make sure the bikes sold are the highest quality instead of selling bikes that would need to be serviced more often.Prices are fair for a local bike shop, but a little pricey nonetheless because of the fore-mentioned reason.Not often much of a wait, and never have not been acknowledged even if there was a small wait.I do think the staff could do a better job with explaining processes of bike repair, just from a bystander perspective, sometimes people come in to pick up their bike and they just get a here you go with no further explaining of the process or repairs done. Out of a few of the people that I have heard, several of them had to ask well are you going to tell me what you did to it? This is something that can vary per customer on whether or not they care to hear, so I understand, but it might be a good bonus to already pretty good service

I bought a specialized helmet. It arrived really quickly but without the ANGi. When I called, Angela was apologetic and understanding and shipped one out immediately. These kinds of product mistakes do happen, but to have someone deal with it so nicely and so quickly doesn’t always happen. Thank you for being so great, I appreciate it.

The guys in the bike repair shop are real professionals. You can easily buy a bike from a million different places. But finding a shop to get a bike repaired correctly is difficult. They have repaired bikes for me for many years and Ill be having them take care of my bikes for many years to come!

I took my bike in at the start of the season with all the dirt and grime of TWO YEARS worth of hard riding and very little service or cleaning done on my own. My bike was a mess.I picked it up looking shiny and new and riding like a champ. The staff took the time to explain any mechanical issues they found, and they gave me some pointers on keeping things clean and tight and greased. I was very happy with their service and their helpful and friendly employees. Pricing on parts and labor was reasonable.Overall these guys did a great job. I continue to use them for regular service and repairs.

Terrible service. The 18-24 year old kids they have running their repair service have NO CLUE what theyre doing. Took my bike in to have the worn out tread replaced. They put a tubeless tire on a rim that isnt rated for tubeless tires. When I brought it back to have them fix it they told me all tires leak and that they would have to quarantine my bike before they could even work on it. TOTAL BS! Had to take it to a different bike shop to get it fixed.

Well shoot! Would have loved to have left a better review, but my experience was no bueno. Took my daughters bike in to get the tube replaced. The guy who helped me was friendly and helpful, thus the two star rating. The next morning she took it out and the tire popped four miles from home. She walked her bike home four miles. This stuff happens, Im sure. When I took it back the next day, it was a stinks to be you situation. Customer service was lacking. Took the bike to a competitor to have it fixed and they said the tire was installed crooked. This was all after my neighbor told me of repeated bad experiences with Binghams. Next time I guess Ill listen ;)

Great store helpful staff. I would suggest shopping online and picking it up at the store if you know what you are doing. Chances are they will order it for you and have you come back to pick it up. If you dont know what you are doing like me then go in and they can help you with all your question and help you pick out the right bike. I did not know much about mountain bikes and neither did the rest of my family when we went to rent bikes for the day. Mason was very helpful picking out bikes for us and making sure that they were fitted correctly for us. The pricing was reasonable and we will go there again to rent bikes next time.

Everytime I go in to the Ogden shop they are polite and are always willing to help. I just had a shock rebuilt and a week later it started having issues. I took it back and they started looking into that same day. Come to find out it was my issue, I didnt adjust the pressure correctly. The great thing is at the same time they had the bike they looked at some shifting issues and helped resolved those. They saved me another trip to the shop by being proactive with their service. I have now been back to the Ogden shop 5 times in the last month bringing multiple bikes in to have them serviced or to buy things. Nice shop, friendly service, fun group of people.

I have nothing but good things to say about the store and the staff. We came in for MTB rentals and got two very nice Norcos for an awesome price. The mechanic took the time to check and adjust rider positions and even tuned the suspension to our weights. Everyone was knowledgeable and friendly and we left with plenty of riding recommendations. The whole experience was awesome and hassle-free. Would definitely rent from these guys again.

We just went out to buy bikes on Saturday. This is something that we have been talking about doing for a while, and finally the opportunity came up. We didnt have a lot of money to spend on bikes, but we wanted as much quality as we could get.My wife and I went around to 4 different bike shops and made Binghams one of our stops. We were helped out by sales person Garret who was really awesome! He took the time to help us with all of our questions, made us feel comfortable and talked about the kinds of bikes that hes had and liked. Due to bad planning on our part he and a few of the other people at the store ended up staying late to help us.I actually bought my bike at a different store, but now Im really wishing I would have bought mine here. I was having trouble with my bike that I bought at a different store, and Garret again came to our rescue and helped me out. We were leaving the store with our new bikes and he actually came back to give us some tips on using the bike rack that we didnt buy from there either.Customer service is not dead, and this place really takes care of the people that shop there.Thanks guys!

I have to be careful how often I stop by because they have so many sick bikes and some pretty sweet gear that I end up spending wwaayy to much money every time I go there.... But it all feels worth it when you hit the mountain and ride.. Take your bike in for an annual tune up, theyll get it back to you fast and its definitely worth it...

Quick service on my bike tune ups this week. The staff at the Ogden store were awesome, and gave me some good suggestions.

Update 6/21/17: I had a long conversation with Angela, the owner about the service. So stuff happens.. Because of her reaching out to me and follow up with the bike manufacture, I will reverse my opinion and certainly purchase the bike when available in August. Thank you Angela for setting the example the rest of your staff should follow. Based on Angela alone I will gladly rescore from 1 to 5.Ordered bike on 6/8/17. Told it would be in store 6/15. Called on 6/15 (because I did not hear from them) and informed they didnt even get around to ordering the bike for 6 days and was out of stock. No apology, no offer to provide another bike other than one that was color I did not want. No offer to try and keep my business at all. Spent close to 1000 last year, this would have been around 1500 all told. Guess its not 3000+ they are not interested. But they are practiced at giving refunds.

My spouse and I are older riders, new to biking. We purchased 2 Sirrus Sport bikes, then 3 months later went back to upgrade to Elite Carbon. We love our bikes! The staff took the time to discuss what we liked and didnt like about various types of bikes before deciding on the Sirrus Sport. Best decision ever! The customer service is EXCELLENT! We purchased the PS2 plans for our bikes and have been in to get things tweaked and adjusted. The bike fitting made a big difference in our ability to use and enjoy our bikes and we were impressed with just how much goes into making sure it is just perfectly adjusted to the rider. We have been helped by nearly every employee there and found them all to be very knowledgeable. Bingham has us as customers for life!

I have had multiple poor experiences at Bingham Cyclery but have always attempted to given them the benefit of the doubt, however this last time was my breaking point. Employees are rude, prices are through the roof and help is non-existent. With so many other great bike shops in Ogden like the Bike Shoppe and Skyline Cycle I am amazed that this place is still in business. I will never be going back. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Terrible Help. Bought a new tread and after I asked if they could mount the tread to the rim that I am gonna have to do that on my own at home...... Are you kidding?UPDATE:Jeff the owner gave me a call the same day that this incident occurred and came up to the Ogden location himself the following morning to assist in mounting the tire and helped to tune up the bike and seat as well. While I am a bit sour about the initial service, the wrong was corrected. I bought my my first Specialized bike from this place and spent good money on it, I am glad Jeff called me. I will be returning in the future.

The guys at the Ogden store are great! Everyone is friendly, knowledgable, and the best part - theyre even super helpful if you didnt buy your bike there. I had them rebuild my Fox 36 fork and Josh, the mechanic, nailed it. They also noticed my front brake was a little off and offered to get it warrantied by SRAM at the same time. Check these guys out!

Came into look at bikes for my wife. Javier was our salesman. Super super helpful. Listened to all of our concerns. He worked us thru each concern one by one until there was no concern.We hit the brick wall as it turned out the bike that would work the best was not at there store.Javier immediately was tracking the bike down which he did. He called down to there slc location and found it.2nd brick wall. By this time its 30 mins before the slc location closed in a perfect no traffic world we had 30 mins to drive a 40 min drive.He made sure they would stay which they did!ALL IN ALL WE GOT THE BIKE ASWELL AS THE BEST CUSTOMER BUYING EXPERIENCE IN THE HISTORY OF EVER!THANKS

I recommend this shop to anyone on two wheels. I took my bike in with two flat tires and no clue how to change the tubes and Kenji put them on for me in minutes. They really know what theyre doing here.

The employees there have always been awesome! I think the owners just need to reevaluate there price points. I got a quote on a Surly frame and there price was almost $100 more than 2 other shops in the Ogden area. Great People, Bad Pricing.

I dont usually have a problem with Customer Service, and I have never written a review. My wife and I had questions about the best way to try road biking without spending $1200 on a bike. So we thought maybe we would stop by Bingham and see if someone more knowledgeable could help us. We walked up to one of the employees at the front counter and when I asked what he thought might be a good idea, he just laughed, blew us off and said we should go and ask a friend. He didnt say anything after that. I dont think all of the employees are like that and it seems like a nice store. Just had a bad first impression. He wasnt interested in helping us unless we were gonna buy a bike. So we got back in our car, went down the street to Skyline and they were more then happy to help us. I wasnt trying to waste there time, just had a quick question and got treated like trash for not having $1200 to buy a bike.

Plenty of parking, easy to find and close to the Ogden Parkway so you can actually test out a bike youre interested in. The staff is super friendly and they have plenty of parts and other extras you will need and want for your bike

Binghams in Ogden is the best shop in the Ogden area. Ty and Jay are experts with years in the bicycle industry and can always answer any questions I have. The service department is excellent. Kenji can handle anything that may be going on mechanically with your bike and is an excellent wheel builder. Chris and the other employees have always treated me well and I recommend Binghams when purchasing anything from your first entry-level bike to your latest race machine! These guys rock!!!

This is the place to buy a bike and accessories in Ogden!After recommendations from my biking group friends, I went to Bingham Cyclery to shop for a bike. I can see why they all like the shop, for service and the time the guys spend with you explaining everything in a patient manner and not making you feel rushed or like you need to buy now.Ty and Kenji spent a long time showing me the options.Kenji also helped me chose a helmet and later when I couldnt pick up the bike because my car was out of commission he delivered my new bikeway out to my home in Eden.Later Josh and Garrett attached the new bike rack to my car which required special hooks due to the shape of my car.The employees are so knowledgeable and caring its a pleasure to shop there. The selection of bikes and accessories is excellent and the shop has several classes on offer to develop skills.

Ive been going to Binghams for the last two years when I first moved to the area. The staff, Ty, Jay, Kenji, all do a great job and truly care about bikes and the community. They take the time to listen, and explain the different options to help. Ive purchased a MTB and plan on getting a CX bike soon. Theyve handled maintenance and repairs quickly. One time I was out on a ride and suffered a mechanical problem. I was able to roll in and they had me fixed up and out in time to make my group ride. I highly recommend this LBS!!

Great local bike shop. I was in the market for a mountain bike that I could race. The staff was knowledgable. They had a good inventory on hand and helped me tune the bike for my upcoming Leadville 100 race. Success. Very pleased with the expertise and patience as this roadie asked all the stupid newbie questions. I might add that Im not related to the namesake Binghams as my last name might suggest.
