My husband took his truck there and they told him it would take about 2 hours to fix, here it is almost midnight, we took it in about 3 oclock and it still isnt finished. The main person who was working on it had a family emergency so he let us know one of the other installers will finish it for him. That installer called us twice saying it wasnt ready. Each time he called he added 1 to 2 hours till it was finished. I understand it takes time, but if we are told 2 hours it should be done, even if it takes a half hour extra not 6 to 8 hours.

A car I bought for my son was in dire need of a up-to-date stereo. I had shopped around a few local stores and never felt like I was being sold a quality product. I was not looking for a window rattling system for cheap, I just wanted a decent sounding stereo with some modern features. Had a remote car starter installed just before Christmas. I didnt feel like they were trying to sell me the most expensive model but provided options so I could make an informed choice. Very friendly and got it installed much faster than other places. Connections are all soldered instead of using connectors - makes for a much better and longer lasting connections (this was an important benefit). highly recommend

The car stereo that they installed stopped playing sound. I took it in and they had it fixed within minutes.

I stopped by Car Tunes yesterday just to browse and ask a couple questions. Joel was extremely helpful and took very good care of me. It was raining and I had my kids with me and he made an effort to work very speedily and hooked me up with some awesome equipment that I love! He gave me a great deal and was very professional and friendly. I will be coming back soon to get my subs installed!

Let me start by saying I have never had a problem with cartunes...up until my last install they did. They charged me an okay price to install my subs amp and bass knob in a mercedes (which I understand can sometimes be difficult). They said it would take about 4hrs. Well 4hrs quickly turned into 6 which turned into 10 and then turned into 12 and a half hours of me being out of a vehicle because its a mercedes...... They also said they were dealing with other cars when mine was the first vehicle in for the day. I had to ask someone to drive me out there at 10o clock at night to pick up my car! I finally got my car back and had another bill from them on top of that for a PAC unit I didnt need and MORE labor charges ontop of the bill they already told me it would cost. I drove about 1/2 mile down the road and noticed my subs would cut in and out constantly and after calling them and going in they told me they couldnt get me in to fix it until the end of the week. After doing some troubleshooting on my own because I didnt want to be out a vehicle for the entire day again I noticed the audio cables were reversed and my ground was screwed into a peice of sheet metal which evidently caused my amp to not deliver steady audio so now Im out a perfectly good amp (that I bought from them and worked just fine up until they touched it) and had to buy another on my own because they dont want to help me with their terrible work and long work time which shouldve been a simple 4hr install. Please save your money and just go to AudioXtreme or the Layton Cartunes.

I have gone to these guys for the past 4 years for everything from stereo wiring to custom boxes and set ups, and not once have I been disappointed. You pay for good quality work by people who are passionate about what they do, and strive to do a great job on your vehicle. They know a lot about the business and could tell you a lot.

Genuinely very knowledgeable about my two high end cars. I asked sound warehouse to do some installation and replacement in both vehicles and was turned away. They said it was to risky to work on my vehicles and they were to nervous to work on such nice cars, they refused my vehicles and gave me radical out quotes. Car tunes was confident in their work and had no fear to tackle the issues, at a fair price, with their extensive business history I feel very confident they have won yet another customer.

STAY AWAY!!!!!! CAUTION!!! POOR WORKMANSHIP!!!! I took my 2018 civic si for an amplifier installation, they didn’t install it securely to the back seat and after 2 months of install the amplifier came off the seat. I’ve been back twice for them to correct Install issues and I’ve been treated poorly. And I continue having issues. I will be taking my vehicle to a more professional audio store. These guys are a joke save your time and money!!

Very professional and quick. I made numerous calls to find someone to work on my stereo and Cartunes was very willing. The staff explained everything to me and even offered to do some research and help me locate a missing part for my XM radio. Prices were good. When my dash was put back together, it looked great.

My son and I restored my dads old truck. We wanted a good audio system in it, its always nice to listen to clean, crisp music. Everyplace in the Ogden area wanted to sell us the biggest, baddest system, come on guys this is a truck and then we went to Car tunes and Gene wanted to see the truck before he would recommend a system... wh..what? Gene said he didnt want to sell us something we didnt need and wouldnt be happy with down the road. The truck only had the cab on the frame at this point so Gene recommended we only buy the deck and an amp kit(power wires and RCA wires) as to have all the wires in place when the truck was finished. We returned with the truck 80% complete and Gene gave us many options, he wasnt pushy he told us the options and let us talk about it. We decided on all Memphis components. Gene was fair on price, didnt try to up sell us and when we installed it at home Gene helped us with any questions we had. Fast forward about 8 months, system installed, truck nearly completed(I highly recommend the sound deaden-er that is sold here). Went back to have the system tuned Nathaniel spent about 40 minutes with us and got the system sounding fantastic he had found something we had hooked up wrong and corrected it no charge, Im never going to any other place. Car tunes has another very satisfied customer for life! Thanks Gene, Nathaniel!

Just got my stereo upgraded and I could not be happier with the installation. The installer went way beyond expectations.

Took my Jeep here and it was kind of last minute, they put me in that day when sound warehouse told me that no one in town could get me in without having to wait 3 plus weeks. Also took my Magnum here and both times didnt feel pressured to buy the most expensive deck like I did at sound warehouse. Defiantly recommend this place.

I called in about a wiring adapter that I needed to replace my stock deck with a Kenwood in my Lincoln Towncar. Joel asked me to bring it in to make sure I got the right one. He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Even gave me a military discount because Im a veteran. I ran into a couple bumps when I was doing the install at home and when I called him, he was more than happy to talk me through a couple things on the phone. I will definitely be coming back for my future projects!- A side note, Im not sure what happened with the other guy who had a bad rating on here, but I seriously doubt that Joel wouldnt have taken care of this fellow. I baby my Excursion and wouldnt have any reservations about dropping it off to have a video system installed. Very professional shop.

Great guys Awesome service

These guys installed an amp using cheap materials. I had to fix it twice in the first 2 days. They dragged mud all over the inside of my car, and the installer cut a 2 inch gash in the leather of my seat! Thats going to cost me a LOT of money to replace, and when the guy on the phone denied any wrongdoing, you could almost hear the laughter in his voice. The installer also ran a power wire in a way that is letting water inside the car, right onto the cheap part he installed by shoving it under the passenger carpet. These guys suck. Take it anywhere but here if you value your carThese are very bad people who do a terrible job at what you pay them to do. They should have their license to operate revoked, and if you take your car to them you are asking to have your car/stereo/etc destroyed.
