I only spent time in the miniature section, but I was very impressed by their selection.I came in with a list of ~20 Citadel paints I was looking to buy, they had all but one of them.They had a great stock of miniatures for the various systems I collect, and the prices were very reasonable.Beyond that they seem to have a great stock on everything else. Definitely will return for more in the future.

The employees at Gamers Asylum are the consummate example of what you would want to encounter at a hobby store. They are knowledgeable, patient with newbies, and will go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience. Great place to shop!!!!

Knowledgeable staff, large inventory, and cool spacious rooms.Driving through town my husband tried to find his old gaming store and found it located at this brand new facility. It was easily seen from the road and filled with lovely AC.After skulking around and taking lots of photos I noticed they had a better selection of Warhammer / mini paint then my local shop. I asked if they had an expert on hand and they said I was lucky because Sunday is the day Kelli was in.She has an art degree and it clearly shows. She was able to explain to us the difference between base paints and a new contrast that came out and really gave us lots of useful advice for our skill level.The comic shop in the back looked fine. They also had guest Wi-Fi that was pretty solid. The upstairs had an exceptional amount of space for board gamers and card players alike. Even had a room filled with Funko pops on the way back down. Also a large selection of $50 D&D and role-playing books. Oh! And they had some sort of regular discount along with a military discount of 10%!Overall, Im really jealous that I dont have such a large-scale multifaceted store at my hometown location. I cant wait to plan a stop when I come into town next time!

If youre going for magic dont bother, they will rip you off and sell you high priced magic cards that are used and best of all they wont let you hold then to inspect them for damages, spent 82 on a card to find out the card was heavily damaged and then to ve told we sell every card used, if they are used cards you cant sell them for high value cost. If youre looking to buy magic go to heebeegeebeez they will If you the best offer on cards and have a way better verity, also they make you do all the work finding the card while they just sit on the computer and eat food while they make you right every card down from price and what type to modern and standar, they dont care for customers they are only in it for themselves! Gamers Asylum is easily one of the best game stores in the state. The entire second story is dedicated to gaming and is very open and spacious. As for the store itself, the employees are very friendly and helpful. They have tons of MTG cards, video games (especially hard to find retro ones), tabletop games(DnD and Warhammer), as well as board games and comics. They currently carry both Army Painter and Citadel Paints for their hobby supplies. I highly recommend checking this place out 😀

There new location at 36th and Washington is a ENORMOUS! They carry everything any type of gamer could want or need. They are also finishing the upstairs, which will house several rooms for D&D, Magic games and many others that will be very nice to see a d experience. They have the best building in the business. Not to mention a staff of VERY friendly and knowledgeable associates. You have got to come see for yourself.

Well organized, helpful staff. We went looking for D&D player’s guides 5th edition and were disappointed to only find a single used book to consider for purchase. Seems like something that they should keep a few new copies in stock. They charged $30 for a used book when I can buy a new one on Amazon for $31. If you are desperate like we were then you should go check out their clean brightly lit store.

Bad customer service! literally called in 5 times to ask about the new shipment of celebrations and was told numerous times to call back after the 22nd. When I call back on the 22nd I am told that all of the cards are spoken for through pre orders?!?! How was I not told that I had to pre order? On top of that I’ve been told it’s first come first serve inside the store? Makes no sense to me.

Staff is really helpful and they have a good selection of games. I most enjoyed looking through their discounted used game section and found a few unique games were excited to try out.

By far the best game store Ive been to in the Ogden area! They had a good selection of MTG, tabletop RPG, comics, board games, and even video games!! They also have a large gaming area where they host a variety of MTG nights as well as DnD Adventurers League.They mentioned they will be hosting private tabletop RPG rooms in the near future and providing a way to find groups and players via their discord.Cant wait to go back, I could easily spend hours in there every day...

Dropped a few games off only received $7 for them. It took US personally awhile to get down there AND they relocated their store. When we finally went in they couldnt give my son his games back, said they were forfeited property and were pretty rude in regards to the matter...Even though I just received a phone call last week in regards to the games. I asked him if he wanted me to play it for him and he said no..I ended up being rude right back...We will find another game store for my son to do business at.

Love the new location (3 floors). Intially was recommended to go check this place out by someone on Twitch. I live in SLC so a bit of a drive but totally worth it. Prices are fair and staff is nice. I went in looking for Pokemon product and my only advice is get on the preorder lists if youre trying to get product because it goes fast!

Place has a great selection of table top minis as well as board games. Picked up a TMNT kickstarter set and several other board games and they have been great to play with friends. Not much of a comic dude, but they have a great selection. A great Hobby/Game store with a helpful staff. Also, there are great tacos right next door!

It is bright, it is beautiful, it is TWO STORIES, not to mention theres literally like 5 transfer bus stops within walking distance which makes it so much much more convenient to get to. Youu can definitely tell they are finally home.For first timers, gamers asylum offers a HUGE selection of comic books, board games, console games, and retro games. They also offer a healthy selection of miniature figurines and supplies along with dice, collectible collectible cards, pogs, you name it. Theres something here for every gamer.

The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable; a few months ago I was looking for a Sega Genesis controller for an off brand Genesis remake, I was told about a controller that worked for all 3 generations of genesis, I was told since my Sega was a knockoff brand it may not work but was told I had a return guarantee if not. It did work. On another note, they have a great selection for all kinds of items; video games, trading cards, miniatures, comics, action figures, movies, and all kinds of other things and theyre all easily willing to help you find what youre looking for, if they dont have it theyll even tell you about other stores that might. They have told me about a store I could get a better deal from as well (Entertainmart for cleaning discs). I love this place and will always be a customer!

I love Gamers Asylum. Its my go-to game store. I play Warhammer 40,000, which they unfortunately have rather little stock of, particularly when it comes to single models. They have a variety of unit boxes, but only one or two of each. The same goes for Citadel paints. They have a wide variety, but some paints that I would expect to be there are not. However, when they do have the models or paints I am looking for, they are cheap, in some cases almost 10 bucks less than GWs website.

Need to do floor redo... Point of sale stuff could be better.. Hasnt changed in 6 years that i have been in the area..

A very unique, approachable and comprehensive store. Ive been in a lot of game stores, but this one will stick out in my memory. Its in an older building, but in contrast to the care that they put into the interior, it adds a lot a personality and simply makes me smile. The products they offer range widely across genre and areas of interest. Prices appear to be very reasonable and the staff seem friendly and knowledgeable. It seems to be a very family-friendly environment. Im not from around here, but if I were I would easily make this my local game store of choice. Five stars, without hesitation.

Good selection of items! But depending on who you work with at the register depends on the quality of service you receive. Last night 6/22/20 we went in looking for controllers for our sega atgames console and the gentleman who helped us was very informative and knowledgeable about the different products. With that we made our purchase and went home to try. The D-pad on both controllers popped off really easy so we opted to return the controllers & buy different ones. Upon our return today the guy helping me quickly said, without waiting for me to fully pullout them out of my bag, that he could not help me or take them as a return because the boxes had been opened. He said that he wouldnt be able to resale them!?!? Thats strange since the receipt says, two week quality guarantee.

Friendly staff, and welcomes groups for gaming... No charge for that either. My son and his friends love meeting up and playing here. They have a great selection of merchandise too.

They have a bunch of great board games, trading card games, and a decent selection of retro games. The staff is always kind and helpful. They have fun events they do every once in a while.

Scary on the outside but delightful on the inside. There is every kind of board game besides the video games. They have games set up so you can learn. We found lots of games we want. We had so much fun and we have plans to go back for more.

When I walked in, I instantly saw a variety of things and became very excited! The place was very neat and organized and the stuff they offered was neat. The staff was also really kind and always ready to help! It was really cool and I enjoyed it a lot.

Very clean with lots a space, a wide inventory to shop from with friendly and helpful staff. Refreshment are nice and cheap. Only complaint is a lack of Warhammer events but after speaking with the staff I know it isnt do to lack of trying.
