Precision granite was awesome to work with. Carrie took the time to walk around with me and explain the different material on each slab. She quickly caught onto what I was attracted to, and we found the perfect piece! There was one section I fell in love with, and she was able to lay it out, so those parts would be accented on the biggest part of my counter. I had no clue that was even possible! We were in the middle of a huge kitchen remodel with building our own cabinets, and we had an awkward dining room space, so we ended up combining the kitchen and dining room into one. Carrie came to my house and designed a one-of-a-kind kitchen island which tied the two rooms together perfectly! Sherry also came with her template machine and she made sure my countertop would be snugged up to my stove, so there were no gaps showing! Now thats customer service! Install day came, and things did not go as planned. Our kitchen island was not level (our fault), so Connor the install guy contacted Carrie, and unfortunately we had to reschedule, but we didnt have to wait long. She was able to squeeze us back in their extremely busy schedule. Our seams are flawless thanks to the pride Connor takes in his work! I would highly recommend precision grants. My countertops turned out beautiful!

Precision Granite did a wonderful job installing our granite a few years ago. Although incredibly busy Carrie was able to move our install to an earlier date, in time for Thanksgiving dinner. Carrie is quite knowledgable and is my go to whenever I have questions about how to care for our counter tops.

We had countertops installed in our kitchen and bathrooms nearly 3 years ago and we still absolutely love them! Extremely durable and aesthetically very pleasing. So let me tell you a little about Carrie and Precision Granite. I was on a time crunch and she bent over backwards to make sure that our install was done. The pandemic basically ruined all of our plans and we were at the end of our rope. Luckily Carrie was able to source the perfect countertops for us and also work with our contractor to make sure we got them installed in time. Thank you! A+++

We worked with Carrie from Precision Granite for our countertops. I found the most beautiful piece of granite and Carrie was able to lay it out so the most beautiful parts of the granite are on display. This was not a pick the granite, cut to fit situation. With Precision I was able to pick my slabs and then with Carries help, pick the parts that we wanted highlighted. I didnt even know that was possible. The one seam I have (and was so worried about, sorry Carrie) is almost invisible. Precision was able to install my countertops even faster than they said they would, which is huge when you dont have a kitchen. I highly recommend Precision Granite and especially Carrie. She was so great to work with, part salesperson, part artist, part therapist for my anxiety in making the wrong decision. We were also able to pick up a remnant piece for next to nothing for a small bathroom. I am an extremely satisfied customer.

I will post pictures when cabinets get done. This company was a “ knock your socks off service”. The most amazing owner, scheduling person and installers of any sub contractors we have worked with. The actual granite install is so beautiful and perfect!

To busy to talk to me standing in their show room for 15minutes. Just to even acknowledge me. Took my business somewhere else.

Worst experience Ive ever had with a company. First the quartz we received looked nothing like what we picked. We expected some color variations but it isnt even close (see pictures). Carries only explanation is differences in the rock, but more than 1 fabricator has told me shes full of it. Then on install I start noticing what a terrible fabrication job was done even the installers commented on it once I kept pointing things out, including being so tight on the stove you cant get it in and out, which they did re-mount the smaller piece to give slightly more room but still rubs, and a very un-uniform edge that they spent lots of time attemptingto fix in place. After talking with a friend who used to fabricate countertops he told me it should of taken 2-3 hours but after attempting to fix everything that was wrong they ended up spending 7 hours on install. And then ran out the door when I wasnt looking, without saying a word so I couldnt find anything else. A day or 2 later I attempt to install the drain for the sink they installed and I notice the pipe is flopping around in the wall and appears to be broke. I instantly remember hearing a thud so I come out to check and one guy says to the other get something in there to rest the sink on so we dont break the plumbing. Once we told Carrie of the mishap she tells us thats covered in the incidental disclaimer we signed and they refused to do anything about it. Now I get to cut open my finished wall underneath the sink and hopefully be able to fix their mistake without having to pull the cabinet and top out. All this and I only had to pay 5k for a relatively small kitchen, and the best (sarcasm) experience you could ask for. I will never hire or refer these hack jobs to anyone ever.

We built our house last year and if there was one thing I wanted done right it was our counter tops. We found exactly what we wanted at Precision Granite plus some! Carrie walked that yard every single time I would come in. She helped me measure and remeasure as many times as it took until I was sure I’d gotten what I wanted. Their installers were also beyond meticulous and did such a great job. Every detail was addressed. Just like I’d hoped, everyone who walks in my house dies over my counter tops! Thanks guys. The install guys had a big job with a full piece of granite for the island and it wasnt easy and they handled it very professionally. Would definitely recommend.

After shopping around abs getting different bids for our kitchen and wet bar in the basement we chose Precision Granite. The quartz we picked was in stock and we were able to get them installed much more quickly then we thought!

The incredibly talented and focused team at Precision Granite Inc. in Ogden, exceeded my greatest expectations. They moved our project along so smoothly and quickly, they were always on target with communication.Our quartzite counter is gorgeous! I highly recommend this company and oh, did I mention how they beat everyone’s prices? We searched all over SL county before looking locally here in Ogden, we’re so glad we did. We can’t wait to begin our next project, our bathroom with Carrie, Sherri and their great team!

I contracted Precision Granite to create a counter top for our outdoor cooking area. When they delivered the product, there were two main corners that had broken off in the creation of the counters. They had patched them back together and made them look somewhat acceptable at the time, for which I signed off on the work, stating that I was OK with the repairs as long as they kept looking like they did when they installed them. However, over time the repaired spots became more and more visible and less attractive, as the glue or whatever they put them together with started turning colors different from the color of the granite. I then had one piece move and separate at the seem from another piece and the front of the counter where they doubled up the granite to make an edge separated. I called and asked to speak to the owner about this and never got a call back. I called again about two months later than still no return call. I then reached out and spoke to the office manager who was fairly new and not only left the owner a message through that manager, but also sent an email with pictures. I then after having no call back, called the manager again and asked if the owner had received my message and she said she had. I asked if she intended to do anything about it and at least come take a look at the issue, but she said all she could do is pass along the information. Bottom line is that I didnt even ask for them to do anything other than to come take a look at the issue to let me know how we could solve the issue. I have now been ignored by the owner for a year and have no choice but to communicate publicly my dissatisfaction with Precision Granite and the way they conduct business.I would not hire them, as the owner apparently does not care about clients that have issues. All the negative reviews that I have seen seem to point at the owner as the issue. I can only say that I have never met her or been able to talk to her, so I do not know what she is like, but I do know that she is not responding to me.

We had Precision Granite install countertops in our basement kitchen. At first we got prices from Home Depot and Lowes to install formica, but in the end we paid a little bit extra to go with granite. It was an absolute nightmare trying to get quotes from HD and Lowes. So it was awesome when we stopped by Precision Granite, and met Carrie and Liz. They were awesome to work with, and put no pressure on us to go with granite or Precision. The installers did an excellent job. When it comes time to remodel our upstairs kitchen we will be coming back to Precision Granite.

Recently remodeled our kitchen and bathrooms. We went with Precision for our quartz countertops based off of Carrie’s quality customer care and great prices, at first. But now that the countertops are in, we can’t help but be impressed with their work! Carrie was always quick to respond(even after hours), easy to work with and they actually showed up when they said they would to do the install! Working with Precision was, by far, the smoothest part of our remodel process. Would highly recommend!

I recently purchased a granite countertop for my kitchen island. Lorin Black did an amazing job. It’s a beautiful piece in my kitchen. The job was completed in a timely manner from start to finish with great customer service.

We had this company install glacier white in our kitchen end of September. Problems from day one!!! It was not sealed at all!! We have had water stains, oil stains repeatedly. I have put a baking soda paste on them multiple times to help lift oil. It helps. When I told Kari who was in charge about it, she said to put denatured alcohol on it. I asked if maybe her guys didn’t seal the granite correctly. She said absolutely not. They weren’t to blame at all! Ughhh.. so we have unsealed brand new granite! Plus they measured wrong around our range and there was 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch spacing! They weren’t going to replace them. But our cabinet guy who refers a lot of people to them talked to them and they replaced it. But guess what.. they didn’t seal it! We have had so many problems! Bad customer service, won’t take any ownership,Won’t make it right. We also have cracks in our granite too. We spent a lot of money for all this mess. I should have read the reviews. Lots of others have had this issue too. Also, they had window seals cut out, and we were going to Have then cut and placed. Well we were having new windows put in and they said to come back and cut them would be 150.00! We already payed for it all in the amount we payed! So we just kept the granite pieces and will have another company cut them to fit the window now.So needless to say, we need to have another company come in and fix their mess. They will need to buff and seal. Shouldn’t have been this way! Very unsatisfied customer.

At the beginning and at the end you have to be committed ! As in everything that Lorin black has been involved in its always somebody else’s fault the big black truck has a very little person in it Lorin has taken tools taken valuable time and stained the project to the point of no return! Your only as good as your word and when your lorn black, anything said is better left unsaid, you pull your gun you hide in your little world, you will always be a want to be living off somebody else’s hard work and always to be a little troll

I would say we are overall satisfied with our granite and quartz counters through Precision Granite.When we first started the process of ordering, their staff was really nice and helpful. It was our first time picking/ordering granite/quartz so it was nice having the extra explanation of the process an different styles, sizes, cuts, etc.Along the way, they had some staff changes and we felt some of our choices and decisions were lost and/or not communicated internally.We had to reschedule a few times due to other contractor delays and they were great to work with our schedule, even with all the adjustments from our end.As we got close to the install date, one of the remnant pieces we picked was no longer available so we had to pick something different. We were not told why it was no longer available and they placed our name on it at our initial visit and we were told it would be held/saved for us.During the install, one of the granite pieces was not measured correctly and cut correctly so it was scrapped and we were forced to pick another remnant. They just took care of the issue and it was not the biggest deal. They handled the situation well.Our biggest complaint was the corner finish. In their agreement that they have you sign, it states they do rounded corners as their standard. We overlooked that and thought we had originally picked square corners (before their staffing change). This is the information we felt was not noted/communicated correctly during their staff changes. They mentioned that is in their agreement because it has happened in the past. If it has been a recurring issue, I would think it would be addressed early on and avoided all together, rather than placing a clause in their agreement that covers their neglect to discuss the corner options.There were some ups and downs along the way but all their staff was friendly and courteous the entire time. We wish there would have been a little better communication. We know nothing about granite so I expected them to help us understand the process and options available.

These guys don’t pay their vendors. We spent $4500 parts and labor they have not paid. Record confirm everything working great. They quit answering phones and did not pay our bill. Stay away from them they will not pay your bill

Our builder sent us to Precision Granite to pick out counter tops for our new house. I had a really hard time deciding what I wanted but Carrie was so patient with me and very helpful. She answered any questions I or my husband had. I even text her on a weekend to ask a couple questions after the counter tops were put in and she was quick to respond so I didnt have to worry all weekend. She helped me pick a sink that I absolutely love and the granite countertops look so beautiful. ☺ Overall our experience with Precision Granite was great!

Ive used them twice now.. once for a full kitchen and i just had them do a bar top in my basement. Both times they came in with lowest prices, had the measuring and install both done ahead of schedule. Great communication throughout. professional install crew always courteous. Its rare a company can impress me this much. so impressed, i wish i had more stuff to put granite on!!!

Carrie and her team did a really great job. i put in an outdoor kitchen with 2 very large grills, a 54 American Muscle Grill and a 36 inch Mongolian grill. They weighed about 400 lbs total. The measurements had to be exact to cut the holes in the granite for the grills. They did a great job and cut all of the dimensions perfectly and the grills and sinks fit perfectly first time. It is doubtful we could have tried to place them multiple times so they had to be exact. Also they did good in cutting all of the needed shapes and counter tops to be sure we only had to buy one slab of granite and not two, which reduced the cost significantly. They showed up when they said and went the extra mile helping to lift and place the grills in place, which was a big job. They were also very accommodating with my schedule and helped coordinate dates around other parts of the project. I am pleased with my granite and get a lot of compliments. Thanks Guys

From start to finish, I was 100% satisfied with their commitment to my challenging remodel and making sure the job was done right. Their service from the office, to the template, to the install was second to none. I truly felt like they treated my job as if it were in their own home, and thats really all I could ever ask for from a contractor. I would recommend Precision Granite to anyone.

I was overall very impressed with Precision Granite and Carrie who we dealt with. We got a number of bids and chose Precision ultimately because of the good price and the initial impression that Carrie left us with. She took some time out of her normal schedule to meet with us, took time educating us on the different options and clearly had a great knowledge of the different types of stone and counter top process.They had a great selection of granite, quartz and other stone products and made it easy for us to find something that we really liked. Our counter tops turned out great and the overall experience was very positive.I will also say that of all the people we dealt with for our fairly large remodel project, from drywall to paint, to flooring, I really felt like Carrie was the most on-top of things, kept us in the loop, and was the easiest to work with. Precision Granite did our countertops and tub deck. The attention to detail was amazing. Customer service was excellent. They took time to make sure we were satisfied with their work. After the counter tops were done in October of 2015, we didnt move in until March of 2015, one of the edges was to close to slide the stove in. They came out a fixed it promptly. We had an excellent experience with Precision Granite. From the very start, when we were trying to find what we wanted, all the way to the finished job. We were able to find exactly what we wanted without having to waitmore than two days. The installer twins were able to get in, remove the old sink, and install the new one professionally. I remodeled my home a few months ago and had Precision Granite install new quartz in my kitchen, laundry room and 2 bathrooms. They did a beautiful job! I had a great experience throughout the whole process which started with the exceptional customer service I received from Carrie. She helped me choose the exact quartz I wanted, worked with me and updated me until the job was complete. There was a problem with the sink that was installed in the laundry room and Precision came and replaced it the day after I called. They worked with my cabinet company to resolve an issue with my island in the kitchen until they knew the problem was taken care of. I would highly recommend Precision Granite and would use them again.

Precision Granite installed my kitchen and bathroom counter tops in the last 2 home that we have owned, the first in 2009 and then again this summer in 2015. I will not use anyone else. On my first visit to there office I was able to choose my dream counter tops from a large variety of colors and patterns of granite slabs. And my counter tops were installed very quickly after I made my choice. They were very professional, patient in answering all my questions and provided very good customer service. The installers did an amazing job and took the time to ensure that my granite was installed properly and looking its best...they sealed my granite and even gave my a whole can of sealer for future use to ensure that will always look outstanding. As I compared them with other bids I received for my jobs, they gave my the best price for the best quality of granite that I could find. They really ROCK!!! :)

I did not have an overall pleasant experience with this company. I am mostly satisfied with the finished product, but the path to get there was ridiculous.First off, I took an entire day off of work on a Tuesday for the installation process. Since my contract only allows for two personal days per school year this was kind of a big deal to me. My husband also ended up going into work late because he had to unhook all the plumbing as they are not licensed plumbers. After that work was all completed and I called to hire a plumber to come hook everything back up when they were done, someone from Precision called my husband and told him they would not be able to make it today. Mind you this call didnt come in until after 11am. So not only was I out an entire personal day, but I was out a cancellation fee to cancel the plumber. If I had known no one was coming, I wouldnt have scheduled a plumber and I would have spent my time off in a dozen different ways instead of just sitting around the house. When they called, they offered to come the next morning, but I was determined they would not get any more of my time off so I told them to come after 4pm.The next day they came and the installation mostly went well (they did a small amount of damage to the master bathroom wall, but I am repainting that soon anyway so it didnt bother me). The major thing that went wrong was that the counter top to my guest bathroom was built incorrectly. Nobody really even said anything to me about it, I only found out because I butted into a conversation the installers were having. My husband came home from work while they were still installing and I brought his attention to the missing counter. As everyone was cleaning and leaving my husband said, I think you guys missed one. They said they had to rebuild it and someone would call us the next morning to tell us when they could fit us back into the schedule. This statement was made with no apology which leads me to believe that this kind of thing happens often.The next morning no one called, so I called them that afternoon. They apologized for not calling earlier and said they would work out an answer for me and call me the next day with a new installation date. They called me back the next day which was a Friday and said they would come install the missing counter on Monday. Monday came and went with no communication from them. I called and left the store a message around 9pm and asked if they forgot about us. The next morning they called my husband back and asked if they could come in an hour. Since we were both at work, we asked my father-in-law to meet them there.After the counters were installed they sent a notice for payment for the remainder of our bill. Mind you the lack of communication and the fact that someone had to come back out nearly a week later to finish the job cost me hundreds of dollars both in missing time from work and in plumber costs because the plumber had to be cancelled the first time, come hook up four of the five sinks the next day, be cancelled again the following Monday, and come back again after the last counter was installed on Tuesday. In fact, our plumber hasnt even been able to hook up the final faucet yet so I still have an un-functioning guest bathroom.So I emailed the owner with my concerns. Her response was unapologetic, assumed no blame, accusatory and even threatening. Before I selected this company, I did see that two negative reviews were left about someone named Sherrie. I made the stupid assumption that whoever Sherrie was she probably didnt work for them anymore. I should have done better due diligence. If I had I would have known that Sherrie is the owner.

I work with this company often and they are not only prompt with service and friendly, but the quality of work done is exceptional and consistent.

Seems like a trend here. I initially would have given 5 stars but after the way I was treated by Sherry I would never use or suggest these people again. If you feel like being hung up on after getting a lecture on how you need to be a responsible homeowner be my guest. Go with these guys. Otherwise find someone else.

Ive had a great experience with this company every time Ive needed granite. They made it easy for me and it was very efficient . I have done two kitchens and have shopped around at plenty of granite shops. Precision granite definitely has a passion for what they do and I couldnt be more pleased with the quality work that they do.I Cannot thank them enough ...... My new countertops are so beautiful !!!

Heres one for the books. 2 days ago myself are two of my .. associates were looking for someone to do a countertop after looking over the reviews both of my associates told me that no one could be this bad (as the reviews say) I went over to their shop and asked someone to come and give us a bid Sherry the owner agreed to come and see our project which she did. She said its a small job and she would call me with a bid in about an hour with the cost. This Company owner and staff are all totally incompetent! It’s been 2 days and counting NO call. looks like other reviews know what they are talking about. SAVE YOUR TIME dont use this company. They dont tell the turth. Just imagine what kind of work they do!

Work done was Okay as there was a Seam made in our Island that was not needed. We dont have a huge island and it should have been done in one piece. Not two. - - - The Seam itself is raised and can be felt.There are several areas that have chunks of rock missing from the countertop that need to be filled in. Im not 100% sure that the countertops were sealed or not.We have been told multiple times that someone would be out to Fix these and take care of them but have not seen them.It has been 3 months since it was installed. Not sure this will be taken care of.Sherry is the owner and is the one that my wife was dealing with. Sherry is either the owner or co-owner of the company and does not seem to care at all for their customers.Id stay away and go with another outfit even if you pay a little bit more.

Absolutely gorgeous countertops!!! I shopped around a lot, and could not find such quality granite for near the price they offer! Prepare for this to take some time...they are booked out a ways, which says something good. If I could give many more stars for the final product, it is beautiful and I couldnt be happier. I didnt give 5 stars because I feel the communication could be much better. It took several unreturned phone calls and persistent in-person trips to finally get on their radar. The final install day was moved a few days earlier without good confirmation of the date change. That was stressful and cost more for them to demo. They met us half way on that, which I am grateful for. I would recommend Precision Granite.

Great customer service. I visited Percision Granite multiple time over the course of a year looking and talking about granite. They were always willing to take time for me. When I was ready and they were quick to cut the granite and install. The ladies in the office knew stone like the back of their hand and help me find the perfect peices to go with complicated color designs in my house.

We hired Precision Granite of Ogden, Utah to do counter tops in our kitchen and laundry room last summer during a major remodel on our house. They made all kinds of promises until we signed the contract and paid a deposit and then Sherrie became very hard to reach, indifferent and temperamental to work with. They would not warranty their work and we had to hire another company to finish the job. We took them to small claims court to recoup some of our expenses, the judge ruled in our favor but they have refused to pay the judgment.

We chose Precision Granite to install our counters in our kitchen and two bathrooms after getting several bids from other companies. Their customer service is excellent and recommended them highly!!

They did good work, on most of it. They worked quickly. Unfortunately they did the corners wrong, they cut the holes wrong in one of the bathrooms, which required us to change our faucets. They werent willing to work with us on the incorrect corners. My wife hates the corners, but we are stuck with them now and chalked it up to a miscommunication. Thats an expensive miscommunication. I dont know how they got them wrong. The very first visit, we told them what we wanted. They of course denied it.A week after installing the countertops, our builder hadnt paid them, so they put a lien on the property, which prevented us from closing on time. A week, who does that? We even visited with them several days after the install and they never notified us of a late payment. They pretty much destroyed what positive experience they wanted to give us.Anyway, be cautious. We were left unsatisfied and felt like they didnt really care about us, just the money.
