Great service and great pricing
Took my little Kubota tractor in for service. Set up an appointment and asked how long it would take (last time they had my tractor for over 3 weeks for an oil change). I was told on the phone it would take 3-4 hours. I called multiple times after the first day and was unable to talk to anyone. I eventually had to drive there to find out if my tractors service was done. Which they said it was. I feel like they didnt finish the service I requested and just shipped it out to get me out of their store. I am not even sure what they did to the tractor, but paid for 4 hours of service at $110 an hour. I would be happy to pay over $600 for a service if I felt like they did 4 hours worth of work. I will never go back.
I had a very good experience here and have had good interactions with the staff here and I did not buy a tractor here, but did buy an implement. The mechanics/service staff were top notch and did what they said they would when they said they would. My interaction with their staff was very positive and I couldnt have asked for more ... If they treat all customers like they did me, you wouldnt go elsewhere. If you are in a hurry, tell them and be patient with what they can reasonably do to meet your schedule.Yes Ive been in the store a time or two where it seemed I couldnt get any help or seemed there was no one around to help me ... So find the staff in the office off the showroom floor. I think the layout of their showroom and office space could be greatly improved to make their staff more connected with the sales floor (desks on the showroom floor like at many auto dealers). Eg I think they should bring sales staff desks into the open in the middle of the sales floor and tear out he office space and make that showroom space. Some of their accessory/implement prices are a little high, where others are extremely competitive, but they carry high quality equipment.I do see how the interactions here could be considered unprofessional, but having lived in small towns out of state, the interaction reminds me of these small town/country interactions ... pace is a little slower. If you are after the fast paced city like interaction and need a higher sense of urgency, tell them you need them to do what they say and when ... Theyll do it or at least they did for me.
I feel that there was some hokey Buisness going on and I do not trust these guys at all and do not anyone else either. I went in and spoke with the service manager and sales dept about a tractor and several attachments. We were able to work out a deal. They were aware I was planning on financing the unit. $84,000. At 84 months 0% interest. I was approved but after all that and both service and sales working together and the internet promotion was confirmed, in fact they were aware this rate was promoted for Several more weeks regarding this tractor but claim they were taken by surprise. Lies. I own a company and offer financing. There is always plenty of notice about rate changes from the finance companies So there isn’t any confusion. Well a little bait and switch happened. I was approved for financing. My credit score is mid 800’s. Well out of all the tractors, the one I picked they dropped the promotion. Really! Two hours before I was approved! They come back with you were approved but we can only offer 4.99% or 1.99% for that tractor depending on length of terms. I turned in my application because of the 0% that was offered. I was told The implements they can offer for 0% and several other tractor models but not this particular one. If I wanted it I would need to pay an extra $300 or so a month. No thank you. I turned in my application on Friday and they said come back Monday because they guy that sold it should be on site. I went in originally on Thursday evening. Came back Friday and by 10 am Monday they lost a sale for lying. I will not ever recommend, own or even think twice about kubota. I am a contractor and word of mouth is a big part of our community. Especially with fun toys like this.
I really like this dealership. Randy as busy as you are, you took tons of time with me as I traded in my tractor a new one. The other staff members are awesome a well. Thank you!!!!
The parts and service department is fantastic.
Thanks to the people of sunset Kubota for the work performed on my tractor. Special thanks to Wyatt and Chris. I didnt buy my tractor there but will be a customer.
I am not one to write reviews about companies. I always just keep to myself, and try to stay in my lane; that being said, I find it very important that the public is informed about this dealership. This dealership will never do as they say, they have lied to me several times, won’t return calls, and mislead there customers with the worst customer service possible, there are so much more that I can mention. If you are intersted I a Kabota, there are other dealerships that are much more professional that sunset Kabota. Again, I am not one to write these types of bad reviews but I feel it is important to write my experience. I really could go on, but I informed the public and I feel good about that
Hubby wanted to buy a tractor from this location, as he’d purchased here before. The dude on the phone had almost no knowledge about the tractors. He pretty much told us he didn’t like to service customers out of his area...we live about 45 miles away. So essentially he doesn’t want our business. Would give no stars if it was an option.
Very friendly knowledgeable people its a pleasure doing business with them.
PLEASE REACH OUT TO SUNSET STAFF FOR ANY QUESTION, COMMENTS, OR CONCERNS AND SOMEONE FROM THE STORE WILL MAKE SURE YOU RECEIVE THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE POSSIBLE.Sunset Kubota is Open on Saturdays by appointment; there are not normal Saturday hours but someone will meet you there if requested.Sunset has revamped and become Extremely Organized, Customer Oriented, attentive to customer needs, Prices of Kubota Parts are now the lowest in the State, Service is Amazing, & Sales people are trained and will always follow up.
Recommend Highly to go to Sunset for your Tractor Needs!Recently purchased a Kubota Tractor with loader and a snowblower to go with it. Excellent service from the New Salesman Randy, didnt seem new as he was professional, communicative, and definitely was most interested in what I needed instead of trying to sell me something I didnt want. The service department is a fun crew of younger techs, couple ex-veterans in there which I love and parts gal was very helpful.
Great place. Highly recommend them
Service has been better lately and they did respond to my last review, so Ill give them three stars and hope they keep improving.
I have been in business for about 11 years and I have over a dozen vendors and businesses I go through for equipment and parts. Sunset Kubota is by far the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life doing business with a company they are the most unorganized and rude people you are ever going to deal with.I could go on and on about how bad they screwed up but its just easier to let you know be aware and maybe travel a little further to find a more organized reputable Kubota dealer.
I bought my bx2200 from Denis in 2003. Always had him service and take care of my machine. Durring this years epic snow storms I had a fault for the first time with my machine. Denis walk me through couple of simp!e fixes. Replaced both fuel filters and a new battery. Typically I would have had Sunset Kubota service my machine in the fall but got too busy. It is incredible that Denis and his team at Sunset Kubota will take the time to troubleshoot us amateurs rather than making a service call. Sure my be was 14k in 03 but he made me feel as important as someone that just bought a new unit. Do not ever go anywhere but Sunset. They stand behind what they sell, help you maintain your investment, and if you ask will teach you along the way. To Denis and his team. I am proud to have trusted you with my property.
Bought a Tractor, Loader, & Snowblower for behind the tractor after I spent a significant amount of time in the store, everyone was kind to me and I even got to meet the CEO. Salesman, Randy, introduced me to Parts & Service Staff as well and they were very helpful.
I cant say enough good about the new owernship and the parts department. I am 100% pleased with Sunset Kubota and look forward to years of business with this great business.
UNDER NEW MANAGMENT! Very helpful and polite folks run the place now, glad I can finally do business with them again.
I feel like Kubota builds one of the best tractors out there theyre very reliable I love that theyre four wheel drive and they are easy to service and maintain.
Customer service is non existent. Once they get the sale they are done .No help whatsoever
Fun kicking tires
