Everything was great, but the instructor were fantastic. Both instructors were good people, motorcycle enthusiasts and genuinely wanted to help each student progress. The each provided well delivered, constructive criticism for students at vastly different skill levels. Every student walked away from the course a stronger rider than when they showed up.

The experience was Amazing! I would highly recommend this to others who want to learn Motorcycle Safety whether they want to ride or not, it helped me get a better understanding of Motorcycle Safety and how I can be a better driver as I watch for them. The Instructors were also Amazing! Coach Andy was really great at letting you know what you done wrong, and what to do to do better next time. Coach Carrie was really great at letting you know what you did right and would also tell you what to do to fix it. Both Coaches both did just an Outstanding job. I would love to have them again if I needed to retest or even do the more advanced classes.

Had a really good experience! My brother and I took the course together. I had no experience riding motorcycles and this class gave me the confidence to driver home with my new bike. Their motorcycles were all working great and ran smoothly. The instructors Sarah and AJ were very patent and gave so REALLY good advice on how to ride. They watched you very close and gave you helpful tips to be better. AJ specifically gave me tip after tip that when I applied them, I saw a immediate improvement in my skill on the course exercises. In fact, one of his tips already saved me from low siding during a turn in gravel at a construction zone. The only problem was that it felt really rushed through the course. We only got two, 10 minute breaks and there was no bathrooms on site. 10 minutes was barely enough time to drive to the bathroom and back to get there right when they started the class again. Time to eat food and use the bathroom would have been really nice and was needed...

Now that I am endorsed I feel confident on a motorcycle and am looking forward to taking the Experienced Rider course in the Spring. Thanks again Nick and Andy.

As a first time rider I found the whole training experience was superb. From sign-up, to the ecourse then finally the practical onsite training with the trainer. I took advantage of the individual training as opposed to the group option which was perfect for my needs. The bikes were in excellent condition, the instructors gave very detailed instructions and constructive criticism. What a great way to learn how to ride motorcycles. The progression of the basic rider course is perfect. They can take you from never ridden a motorcycle to feeling comfortable on one in 2 days. Excellent introduction to riding for a novice rider!Signing up was easy, and instructions about the course prerequisites to complete were clear. Riders Ed had a variety of bikes that fit riders of any gender and size.Coaches Andy and Keith were extremely knowledgeable, and patient, through all my early mistakes as I went through the basic rider course this weekend. They helped me pick out the right bike to learn on, continued to share their years of knowledge throughout the course, and encouraged me to continue practicing on my own bike after the course.Andy said Riders Ed does not advertise; with this review I am trying to spread the word of mouth about them. I was registered for a two-Saturday basic rider course. The time given me originally when I registered was from 1:00 to 6:00 both days. When I showed up for the first day, they had already begun and I was told there had been a time change from 1:00 to 12:00 and that I would not be able to participate. I was advised by the coach to contact the office.I reached out, explained the situation, and received prompt help in resolving the situation. It appears a good faith effort was made to contact me about the change in schedule, but the number listed was a landline so the text obviously could not go through. I dont know why I didnt receive the email they said had gone out the Monday before class. I would advise those registered for a class to call in or email Utah Rider Education sometime during the week prior if you do not receive some kind of reminder about the class. At the time of writing this, I havent taken the class so cannot comment on the experience of the class itself. However, their responsiveness and understanding helped a bad situation from becoming worse. For their professionalism and prompt help, I give them five stars.

(New rider here who attended the Basic Rider’s Course) They have incredible trainers who provide great feedback that really improves your skills quickly; and they’re super fun people, too (shout out to Nick, Twyla and Dale)! The Basic Rider’s Course was super helpful for two of us; one being a brand new rider, and one having ridden a bit before. The pace at which we learned and advanced was perfect; fast enough to be comfortable performing a variety of maneuvers (I couldn’t believe how much I learned in 2 days!), but not too fast to be worried or scared of the bike beneath me / the skills we did. They happily answered questions with in-depth yet understandable answers that led to visible improvement. Having worked in the E.D. for a few years, I came into the course with excitement but a bit of understandable nerves, and I left with far less nerves and a lot more excitement! Would happily be up for Round 2 with these guys when the time was right. I HIGHLY highly recommend Utah Rider Ed! “Best two days EVER” according to my brother (and me!).

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! WORTH EVERY PENNY! If I could rate it higher it would be a 1000/5 stars. I had the most amazing two coaches and the best learning experience ever. For background, I have never been on any sort of motorcycle before, including a dirt bike, and never driven anything with a clutch. They started off the class with the very basics on where everything was and how it works. They went at the perfect pace to where you werent learning anything too slowly, but with enough time to soak up all the information. They have very small classes to where you get the most feedback for your personal riding. They had many fun and educational exercises and the coaches do everything in their power to teach you the best they can and watch you succeed. I will be back guaranteed going to be back whether its with my smaller cc bike, or to get the advanced course with the 650cc+. If you are debating whether or not to take this class as a start to your riding experience then DO IT! They teach you lifesaving skills that most other places dont teach you. I took the Basic Education Riding Course on the last weekend of October, and received a failed. However, I was told to go and practice on the motorcycle I have at home which is a 1750 cc bike. Not responsible advice in my opinion. But whatever.Second, a student who was in the class with me got into a accident on her bike and passed the course. Another student who wasn’t that good as well also passed. Both were young 20 something’s. I am not.And third and probably the most irritating to me is their so called military discount. It applies to members or families of service members. My husband who was a combat veteran died of service related injuries. Yes, I have a military I’d card and I am still his dependent. However, I did not get a discount that was promised/offered.And then finally the instructor told me that since this was the last riding class of the season there was nothing I could do & I could not retake the test. However, they did not tell us at the time that the last practice/ skills course was in fact the test! They thought it was funny to “trick” us I guess.Anyways this was a complete waste of time & money. I know I will not get a refund or even a portion of it because my card has been charged the full amount.( the military discount was 50% off I believe).I know the other reviews for this place are all positive and glowing. Sadly, my experience was just the worse. If you want to learn to ride, go to a business that honors its promotions, has instructors that are forthcoming and letting you know when you are being tested.I was so upset that after the instructor told me I failed, that I just left. I asked about the private course and was also told “that they are really expensive “. That’s when he gave me advice to ride my motorcycle that I have at home.Sorry, but I cannot recommend.

I took the basic rider course. Duncan and Brad were great couches. They explained everything clearly and demonstrated everything we were expected to do. I would recommend this course for anyone who wants to build confidence in their riding skills.

Awesome experience, I was looking to get my motorcycle endorsement and took the class to get the driving portion knocked out. I didnt expect to learn anything new but wow, learned a ton and the instructors (Andy and Carrie) were awesome, thanks so much.

I had the opportunity to take the basic riding course this past weekend. Without having a lot of experience, I was very nervous but quickly felt at ease and soon became confident in my skills. The instructors, Nick and Carrie, were both awesome! They know how to teach and coach without making you feel incompetent, and that is what was most valuable to me. Its crazy how much confidence I got on a bike in just two days!

Amaaazing. Take the class if youre a new rider, or you want to brush up on skills. Coaches were cool, fun, attentive, highly knowledgable, patient, and stoked to teach and coach. Would take it again just for extra practice :)
