Came in and saw that the phones were down and guy behind the counter was doing everything he could to keep the flow of the shop going. I just needed a flat repair and he said about 45 mins well I said I will have to just wait. I have to say being short staff and no phone he handle everything great. I was very surprised when I saw the counter guy pull my car in and do the repair himself to get me on the road.
Very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Every time I go here its nothing less. I proudly drives from 20 minutes away each and every time. Great job Pep Boys. God Bless
500$ later and my daughters car still had the same noise and was definitely not properly repaired. The technician working there rode with her and denied hearing any noise. Within a few min of riding In Her car I can heard the noise and it is worse than it was before they “repaired” it. I had tired replaced last year and one blew within 6 months and they conveniently lost the paperwork to show it was still covered under the warranty. So not only did they sell me a faulty tire they were also able to get out of their warranty policy. Very very shifty company
Pep Boys in general needs to update the way they do appointments. In this particular instance, I made an appointment a couple of days in advance, when I arrived they first told me they could not find my name, then they said that the slots were already full but I could leave my vehicle for the day and they would be sure to get to it. Then I was told that they had a technician literally quit the day before. They were polite, but I dont appreciate being lied to. I normally use the Pep Boys on NW Expressway but usually have same issues about being a technician short. I have even been told that they do not accept same day appointments and that it explicitly says on their website to call for same day appointments. It does not. When I pointed that out the first time, I was told that it was brand new and should be updating on their website soon. Six months later I accidentally made a same day appointment again and was told the same thing. Really frustrating to make an appointment a few days in advance, plan your day around it and be told that they cannot honor the appointment. I even tried calling the area director that the gentlemen suggested I call to complain but the number went straight to voicemail and the voicemail was full. My faith in pep boys has been eroded.
Booked any appointment online for an oil change, only to get there and have them tell me my appointment had been canceled by their corporate office. 😡

NewNice people to deal with. I took my car there to have a tire repaired. Was told that I needed two tires. I bought them and everything was good for about two weeks. To make a long story short, I have been back six times in the last couple months because I have one tire that they have not been able to fix. Last time, I was told it was a valve stem problem. They replaced the valve stem, and the very next morning, I had lost 10 psi in that tire. Again nice people, but I have given them enough chances, so Im going to try somewhere else.

I have tried this location multiple time and it never fails to disappoint. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and apologetic, which is why I rated this location as a 3 star instead of a 1. I scheduled an appointment for 9am a week ago. I show up this morning only to be told that the website allowed 8 appointments for the 9am time slot and that it would be an hour to an hour and a half wait time due to there only being 2 technicians on staff today. I was unable to stay due to the time constraints of my day. Again, the issue is apparently with the website and not with the personnel of the location. Pep boys needs to do some updating of their technology.
They were able to get me back on the road with new tires. In a relatively quick manner.

Ive been going to Pep Boys HBH, NJ for many years now because I trust this location and the staff has ALWAYS been better than EXCELLENT and my most recent demonstrated why I remain a loyal customer and why so often I recommend them to my friends/associates to come here as well. I came in for one slow leak tire and another tire with a nail in it. As busy as Victor (Manager) and Paul (write up tech) seemed, they made sure that they gave me full details in regards to my initial concerns. I thought Id just was coming in for at worst, a two-tire replacement. They have always been honest with me so, as much as the cost was going to be many times higher than anticipated, they informed me of options. They recommended tires that they had in stock, however, they know that I always like to do my research. They respected that I needed just a few minutes to find the best tire options myself based on reviews. They even priced matched the tires and services for me. They even recommended the Pep Boys credit card which even has a special rebate to defray the cost even further. Whens the last time you wanted to handshake/hug your write up guy and his manager in the middle of a pandemic? I did for a minute think that they were up selling me however, you can tell their no pressure and honesty which is more powerful than being bullied/pressured by a pushy sales rep. It felt like it was a family member telling you the truth so, I purchased four new tires as recommended. A lot of women have expressed to me that they usually feel that their wallet is taken for a ride by mechanics so, I have recommended this location many times, for years, due to their honesty. These guys are crazy awesome!
During this Epidemic they continue to give Business and Excellent customer service. I will keep coming back referring my family and friends to come here.

The service counter guy said do not leave he will find a spot for me to get my tires installed I was thinking going to be 3 hours but no got them done in 1 hour. Alternator mistake was made. Cost me a tow to hudiburg. 167 diagnostic test out of pocket . Another tow for 78 dollars out of pocket. No reimbursement .was not my fault. I was very upset. However. Pep boys realized their mistake and corrected the issue but I am still out of 78 dollars and 167. Out of my pocket.
I dont go to Pep Boys very often, but on this trip I was just comparing prices on an item. I told the store manager what I was looking for, he showed me what they had in stock. The manager had an open box item and was able to give me a discount on the opened piece, so he could get it off the shelf. It was opened and in good condition, so I thought that was a pretty cool deal, especially since this was a chain store. Anyways, I was satisfied with the service and discount. I would recommend this place 100% notch. I ordered some rims for my 2007 Hyundai Tiburon and they DID & EXCELLENT JOB. Balance the whole works!! Atmosphere was great and some top notch employees working their. I would like too thank Tina, Allen, Darren, and Larry. Superb job!! 👍

My check engine light came on the way to work, stopped here because it was on the way. I was pretty sure it was a bad coil (had two go out before, the car was acting the same way, and the spark plugs were replaced when the last coil went out). The guy was dishonest. Said they couldn’t tell what was wrong unless I paid $90 for a diagnostic. I took it to a local mechanic and they read the code, for free, to figure out which coil needed replacing, then fixed it. I don’t know if they do this to all customers or thought because I’m a female they could rip me off.
Scheduled an appointment for 8 a.m. today to have my AC checked. Showed up at 7:50 and was checked in by Larry, who asked if Id be leaving my car or waiting there. I told him that I had to be on the job by 11 a.m., so I would wait; and if they found that it would need more than a simple repair Id make other arrangements for getting to work. Larry showed me to the waiting area & told me theyd check my car as soon as we can. After about 10 minutes, Larry came to tell me it would be at least a couple-three hours before they could even look at my car. When I questioned the purpose of making an appointment, he shrugged and said, Well, we have some vehicles left over from last night and we never know how long it will take to finish a repair.Thanks, Larry, but Ill just take my car somewhere else, where theyre professional enough to honor a confirmed appointment; skilled enough to estimate repair time with any accuracy; and polite enough at least to pretend to be apologetic for wasting my time.
The first time I went to get my fuel pressure regulator replaced, they decided to fill my coolant tank all the way up dis-reguarding the fill line, which made my car overheat on the highway! Today i went to get my wheel alignment done & i specifically told them NOT to put any coolant in my car. They IGNORED my instructions & my car overheated AGAIN. I will be calling corporate in the morning to tell them about the unprofessional work put into car. I recommend going somewhere else to get ANYTHING fixed on your car. They will sabotage your car!

FALSE ADVERTISING!! My husband placed an order on line to be picked up. An hour later it was cancelled by them stating he didnt pick it up on time! We drove to the store. They said they didnt have parts! However, the website still states it is available!
Terrible service. extremely slow and can never find me in the system even though I tell them my information every time. This last trip they had me in the waiting lobby for an hour and then came back and told me they cant even fix my tire, definitely a waste of time. Not to even mention the fact that I was in my work uniform (looks nothing like the pep boys) and one of the managers came behind me and yanked my ponytail. I looked at him like he was out of his mind and he apologized and said he thought I was a worker there... I understand a mix up and accepted his apology but, really? I used to come to this location when the other manager was here and it was actually worth going to and never had any problems. Something happened, and this place has just gone down hill. Ever since my last experience, none of my family will go to this location any longer and we were all avid customers. Its worth driving to the one on northwest express way which is where we go now. That manager is actually very polite and gets things done (he also has never pulled my hair).

The business model for an auto shop is to get as many vehicles in the lot and the bays waiting to be worked on as possible. The work done here is great! The service managers go our of their way to help you out if your stranded or in need of immediate help. Unfortunately, wait times are a little long. The quality of the work is worth it though. Id trust these folks before I ever go back to Hibdons. Be aware though, that appointments mean nothing other than drop off your car with us because its going to be a minimum of 4 hours before it gets touched.

If I could give no stars I would! We had just bought brand new tires, because we were in need as the roads were really icy. I called a head of time to see how much it would be to mount and balance them, the price was very reasonable and they said that they only had an oil change going on, so they could do it right away. We get there and there were 5 technicians standing outside smoking, wasn’t busy at all, hence the 5 people outside. Yet it took them 2.5 hours (no exaggerating) just to put our tires on!!! Completely absurd! I will never go back here again!!!!
I took my truck to Pep Boys on 07/15/16 to get my truck AC worked on. I had an appointment at 0900 hrs I was there till a little past 1400 hrs. The original problem was the AC was not blowing cold enough. They tested it it was between 50 and 55 degrees. Everything worked when I took it in. They stated I needed new parts. They got me a thermostat control unit and a actuator door and put it on. 5 hrs later they told me it was fixed and blowing ice cold air. I paid my bill 752.16 and left. When I got in it was blowing fan air. I reported this to the manager they retested it. The manager said give it 24 hours. When I went home with my AC running it started blowing fan air out the drivers side and hot air out the passenger side. I took it back to Pep Boys they took it in checked it and said it might be a wiring issue. They had my truck until 08/08/16 the AC was busted. Dons electrical said to fix the AC will be $1671.17. How is it that you can put a vehicle in the shop its working and get it out and the AC is broke and the inside mirror knocked off. I called corporate and requested a remedy they said an area manager will contact me I have not received any feedback as of yet. I have been a loyal customer of Pep Boys for 22 years. I am requesting the owner contact me. I went 3 weeks with no way of going had to take taxis, bum rides to work and the store. Borrow and pay for tanks of gas to take my daughter to work. There was no reason they shouldve had my truck for 3 weeks and not once advising me of its status even though I called and visited the store all the answer I received was its still at the shop.
The good aspect of this establishment was that I was able to obtain the tires that I wanted for a reasonable price. I suggest going to the website first and then going into the store. I noted that the customer service representative either was not able to bring up the price with the discount that was stated online, or chose not to, but in the end the price was right. What I found to be negative is that the place is not clean. It is in disrepair. No one has taken the time to keep the bathrooms clean or the waiting area swept and dirt free. Further I waited 3 hour for the four tires that I had put on my truck. I noted that several people who arrived after me were leaving before I did, but they also just wanted one or two tires.
They honored my sons Car battery issue. Could have been a issue,but they honored the MFG warranty and exchange w a prorated price. Thanks pep boys!!!!
I waited for the roadside emergency services an hour ago still an hour and 14 minutes . I called to see if one of their tow trucks were coming and Justin was very rude . I dont if hes having a bad day or something but its was very unprofessional and I wont be calling their services again . But Im giving Nick and his crew 20 stars out of 5 because they helped me and saved the day for me thank you Nick so much im so grateful for you guys .
Very disappointed!! My car is under warranty and they are one of the places we can take our car to. I kept hearing a noise and took it in. They replaced the struts, not once but twice, and the noise was still there. They replaced several parts and the noise got worse. We took it to the dealer and was told the struts were out on wrong and several things they did were not how it should be. The put tape and JB Weld in a bolt to hold something together instead of getting the correct bolt. My car was unsafe and my family could have been killed driving around in a car that they did not fix correctly. They damaged my CV axel working on it. That was the noise that was worse when I picked it up. DO NOT GO TO THE I 240 Pep Boys. We were there several times a month so they could fix the problem. Finally took it to the dealer and they have had my car over two weeks trying to fix their mistakes.
This is a pretty good place to get your car fixed. The Pep Boys have been around for a long time, started by three friends after World War One. You dont last this long in the auto repair business unless youre doing something right. So when you get there be sure to say hi to Manny Moe and Jack.

Went in to get 2 tires put on. they had my car back there an hour before they even took the new tires back. pulling filters and everything else. while driving home my car sounds louder then before. then I get home and the air filter is not closed all the way. get it together pep boys.
Dont waste your time with this store. The employees have a very bad attitude problem and they do nothing but stand around and do nothing. Went in looking for some front and rear struts and shocks for my pick-up truck and asked the bigger heavyset Hispanic guy sitting in the back counter if he could assist me and all he did was roll his eyes and wrote down the part numbers on a sticky note and pretty much tossed it to me all while not even saying a word. Very unprofessional! Go elsewhere if you want to buy auto parts.
Completely disgusted and POd. Broke down in OKC on July 10 and had the wrecker tow me to Pep Boys as it was the only place I was familiar with. The on-duty mechanic had called in sick, so I had to call a friend to make a 150 mile round trip to take me home. Took them most of the next day to diagnose a faulty starter and ripped me off on parts and labor. Total costs was $397 after veterans discount (which I do appreciate). Found out it was a $247 rebuilt starter after reviewing the invoice, which are available on-line for as little as $89. Only agreed to the repair due to hassle of getting the vehicle home. Im 70 years old and back trouble limits my work. Have used Pep Boys for the last time and urge others to do the same.

I really wanted to like this place as it is really close to my house but honestly service is never smooth here. Competition is fierce in the automobile repair industry and as much as I hate to hate this place they never come through. The guys are nice but it will always take longer than expected or not sure what happened but we dont have your tire. I would definitely check out hidbon down the road. They do a much better job of following through. Sorry Pep you need to up your game.
Poor customer service, except for Allan. He seemed to be genuine. The remainder of the staff seem to be legitimately upset to be working there and it shines through in their interactions with customers. Also, mechanics are unable to assess and correctly fix issues when there is not a check engine light on. Condescending and uninterested. Took my car in for them to repair a vibration issue. Rude service lead me to pick it up a few hours later once I realized they werent going to get to it in a timely manner. Attempted to charge me $30 without ever touching the vehicle, it was parked in the same spot I left it.Better luck going elsewhere.

Replacing parts unnecessarily is way these people earn money. They first fixed an issue on my car. Got it fixed again under waranty for the second time since it was improperly done. The problem still persists. Now they say it because some other part is cause of the trouble. They should have told this to me very first time. They gave me a quote for 650 dollars. They are incompetent! and their aim is to make money but not to look your car as theirs when they repair it. They will pay for charging a student of unwarranted charges!!
Have dealt with this location twice and have nothing good to say about it. The most recent was today, stopped in at 11:30am and asked how busy they were and if they had time for a rotation, brake check and oil change. Said they werent real busy but it would be an hour and then they could get it in to do the work. I went across the street and ate lunch, came back and wandered around the store next door, at the hour mark I came back and they hadnt taken it back into a bay yet. Sat down in the waiting area where I could see my vehicle and after another hour (2 total at this point) I went to speak with someone. Said they got busy and it would be AT LEAST another hour before they could get it in a bay. Called the Quail Springs location, they said they could get it right in. Drove up there and they had it in a bay and all of the work done in one hour! This location is dreadful, but I have never had a problem with the Memorial Road location. If they are to busy to get to it, they are honest up front and tell me so I dont waste my time. Also, their customer service is top notch!
Second time coming to pep boys for the same problem. I feel as though they lie about the service peoples cars need just to make more money. Manager James told me i needed to replace both my radiator and thermostat when pep boys literally just replaced my thermostat a few months ago. They over charge for labor. I do not recommended pep boys to anybody, your best bet is to find a legit, resonable, and trust worthy mechanic and or shop.
Sometimes can be hard to find an employee if you need help. They have a pretty decent selection though. I wouldnt trust my car to their mechanics but I go here for parts and such most of the time.
I was in town for a week and needed a radiator fan to fix my vehicle before returning home (6 hours away). I ordered the part online, received a nice discount, and it was delivered a day later to the South Walker store for a quick repair before I returned home. Thank guys!

First time ever using this place and I stopped in really quick on my way home to get an oil change and have my brakes checked. I figured it would take only about 30-45 minutes as the oil changes I get at my usual place only take 15 minutes and they only had one other car in bay. 2 hours later I come to find out my ticket had been deleted and they were barely finishing up. I was more than furious. The boy working the counter was polite, but Art, the one responsible for deleting my ticket couldnt have cared less.To be fair the counter boy used a coupon for the oil change to be $20 and didnt charge me for the brake check so he attempted to make it right. But needless to say I will not be back.
DO NOT waste your time with online ordering at this store, walked in and three employees standing around doing nothing and it took forever to get my order that I had placed online earlier that morning. I could have walked in and bought the product over the counter faster!!
Balanced all 4 tires for half of the price the other guys wanted. The service tech was awesome, looked my car over, and went above and beyond on service.

Went in on Saturday to get the oil changed. They told me that the serpentine belt was cracked and could fall off at any moment and that I shouldnt risk driving it home. Never mind that it was driving fine before. They gave me a quote of 60.00 for the belt over 90.00 for the labor and told me there would also be shop fees but couldnt explain what exactly the shop fees where. I told them I would chance it. Went to auto zone bought the belt for 35.00 with a 3 year guarantee. Looked it up on youtube it took me less than 4 min to take it off an put the new one on. Seriously how much do you pay your employees that I should pay you 90.00 for 4 min of work. To add insult to injury the belt was fine not a crack or anything wrong with it in the first place. Never ever going back.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PEP BOYS!!!!!!!! I took my 2010 Jeep Compass to them a couple of weeks ago. The A/C wasnt blowing could air and the blower motor would only turn on if it was set on high. First they told me I needed to rotate my tires because they were starting to wear. The thing is, I had already done that just one week earlier and 2 put new tires on. so that was BS. Then they said the problem with my A/C was the service mounts had a crack in it. And it would be $800 to fix, because Jeep doesnt make the parts for that anymore. More BS! And there was a 50% chance that they could reseal it. If that didnt work it would be another $400 to run all new lines. Thats $1200 F--- in dollars! Anyway I left there and took it to Norman Chrysler Jeep and Dodge they fixed the problem. The control module connector was louse in the dash board. And the A/C sensor switch was bad. They charged just $280! DONT TAKE YOUR CARS TO PEP BOYS THEY WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE TO MAKE A BUCK!!!!!!!!!
Will never make the same mistake again.Trust me when I say this is not the place to take any vehicle for service.They write up a ticket, charge for the service, but dont perform the service.Not sure if it was management or the technician that missed it or simply lied about it.Straight forward oil change and tire repair.Trying to get it corrected consumed most of my Saturday and was more trouble than it was worth and led to other issues.Pick a different Pep Boys or go to Hibdons.

I called into get prices. I asked about the coupons that were being offered online. The guy said he didnt know anything about online, didnt have access to the internet, and ended the conversation. When my boyfriend called back to ask for a manager, the manager was the same guy I spoke to. Again he knew nothing also said that no one there knew anything and while my boyfriend was asking about why he didnt know anything, the manager hung up in his face. This was my first and last time dealing with this company ever. I would never recommend. I have filed a complaint with corporate. They said I will get a call within 24 hours. We shall see. Made an appointment for 2pm for an oil change, I arrived early to get all paperwork out of the way ahead of time. I was told 30-45minutes and they would call when ready. I figured an hour and walked next door to do some shopping. Wasnt ready when I got back so I sat in the waiting area waiting for a call, page something. Im not sure when it was actually done, but I had to keep checking and it was finally ready when I checked at 3:40, but then had to wait on paperwork that should have already been done.
Im new to the area and called beforehand to make an appointment. JC gave excellent customer service and I appreciated his friendly and trusting demeanor. Ill definitely be back for my next oil change.

Took my truck in for brakes and steering repairs. They hooked my steering wheel back up not straight. Tire rotation was done as requested. Very complacent staff, no attention to detail, lacking the standard of excellence that Im accustomed to. You lost a customer today. My schedule doesnt allow me time for you to do YOUR JOB twice.
I took a car in for oil change, and they also changed the wiper blades andfilter at no additional labor cost. It was a very long wait, but the service was good and I did not leave feeling like I was being taken advantage of.
Terrible service and no updating on my vehicle. I went in back in October and was told they didn’t have the part they need in stock and they would let me know when I came in. I had to ask them after 3 hours of waiting and even after they pulled my car around they said nothing to me. Like I said that was back in October of 2017 and it is now February of 2018 and i still haven’t heard back from them. Don’t worry I got it fixed myself even after paying a ridiculous amount to get it looked at...

Was towed there on a Thursday nite when I had a bad water leak. On Friday afternoon they told me it was heater coil hose. They said they couldnt find one locally and the dealer had a 7 - 10 day wait. Saturday AM they said they located hoses in Indiana and I said to overnight them. A little while later they told me they located the hoses locally but they were 731.00 for the two hoses. Needing a car desperately I told them to go ahead. Later on Saturday afternoon they called and said I had a plugged heater core. I just replaced the core two years ago. With 8 hours labor plus heater core on top off the hoses I asked them to bypass the heater core. They did but took them 24 hours. Got my car back around 5 PM Sunday. Turned out that the hoses were less than they said - 712.00. Rock Auto has them for a fraction of that price. Guys a dealt with there were very nice.

This is the most inept store and Company. Doesnt matter which Pep Boys you go to! I am stuck somewhere in Oklahoma had to get a hotel room using my fathers money because Pep Boys has so far sold us 3 alternators that have gone bad the last witch only lasted 4 months does Pep Boys care not at all! Thanks to them we are stuck in the middle of Oklahoma and they have no concern about fixing what they guaranteed! Go to AutoZone or OReillys as they have given us excellent service recharging or battery so that we could make it to a Pep Boys that would do nothing for us. We have to wait till tomorrow even though we have kids they had no problem with us just sleeping in the truck in the parking lot instead of fixing a very easy problem. Not to mention they make every excuse for why they cant help. Dont ever go to Pep Boys.!
Wow, I dont usually write reviews because if I had bad service, I just simply not go back to the place, but I feel compelled to write this review. I took my car in to pep boys on a Thursday evening and left it there overnight because they would not be able to get to it that day. On Friday, they gave me a call and let me know that it looks like the transmission is slipping and theyd have to send it to AAMCO and on Monday, theyd give me another call to provide me a status. Monday comes and goes and no call back. Tuesday, I call and I they say theyll have to call me back to provide me a status. After a few hours and no phone call back, I called pep boys again. Again they said they dont know whats going on and theyll call me back...again. As you can imagine, they never called me back. Wednesday, I called them yet again and they said my car is back at the shop, but they cant tell me the status of the vehicle whether they worked on it unauthorized or not. The guy who took my call again stated that he doesnt know and that another guy would be there in 45 minutes. How can so many people not know whats going on with a car? Needless to say, I told them to not do any work whatsoever on the car and ill be picking it up in the afternoon. There are many terrible automotive shops out there and pep boys would definitely be one of the. Do not go there unless you want employees who dont know whats going on with the vehicles and no system to update the status of your car. Dont expect much of a follow up either. Horrible experience.
I see new service manager and the service desk is great but the shop is very under staffed. I would love to come here but they only have 2 people in the shop and when they take a day off it will be worse.
I called made appointment, been told that bring my car in at 2 pm.I showed up at 2pm car didn’t even get to pulled inside of their garage until 3:30(of course I made complaints) now they are asking me if I want to bring next timeWTHPlease read my review and bring your business else where
I should have read the reviews. What a terrible experience.Made an appointment on Monday for Thursday . My truck came with Fox 2.0 coilovers and I need them adjusted down 2” to factory height for pulling a trailer. I gave all of that information including asking specifically if they had the “press and specialty tools” needed. The woman (Tina I think) assured me they were absolutely able to do the job.Fast forward to Thursday-7:30 a.m.: dropped off truck (estimated time of completion 12:00 noon same day)1:00 p.m.: I called them after not hearing anything, was informed they were behind but my truck was “with a technician being worked on”2:00 p.m: received a call. The assistant manager asked “Do you have the wrench for these shocks? We don’t have anything to adjust them with.” I explained that if I had the tools I would not be paying them to do the job. He said he would “call around to find a wrench”2:25 p.m.: recieved a call from Tina (still fuzzy on the name). She informed me that she could order the necessary tool and have it in 2 days “if you want to bring it back” then referred me to another shop!!!!My truck is for work, today I lost over 6 hours of production and 20$ in Lyft rides just to get a referral to another business.Pep Boys South OKC is a joke.
Do not go to this store. Made a 9am appointment arrived early and its 945 now and they have not started on my car.They are surly and do not care.Corporate customer service said the online appointments may not match the stores. Customer service was less then helpful.

Be wary of this place. I was towed here by roadside assistance be cause my car stalled and wouldnt restart. They told me I needed a new alternator just by listening to the car (LOL) I told them to take a beeter look at it since I had just put in a new alternator three months ago. I had to call them several times and they insisted it was the alternator. I told them not to work on the car. They left the car outdoors with the windows down. When I went to collect the car I needed to jump it and that is when I found the loose battery connection on the positive post. I tightened it myself and have had no stalling problems since. Good thing I didnt get a $500.00 alternator installed!!!!
My 3 years and 5 day old car battery went down with a bad cell. We took it to 7600 S Walker, OKC, location expecting a pro-rated cost, and they surprised me by saying they would replace the battery at no charge. They said it had a 3-year replacement warranty, although my paperwork said 2-year. It was a few days past 3 years and the guy smiled and said theyd still cover it!They didnt question what happened to the battery; my auto lights function began misbehaving and popping on the parking lights instead of completely going off. It finally drained the battery.
Service was almost ok until they gave my keys to a homeless man who walked into the store ....then the homeless man called them out on it while I was coming from the waiting room. we look totally diffrent and had that guy stolen my car we would have had a bigger problem!!
If you EVER think that saving 5% on tires through pep boys is a good idea,... DONT!!!! My truck is STILL at pep boys. Today is April 14, 2015, and I ATTEMPTED to purchase 4 new tires on March 28, 2015. Yes,... that is almost 3 weeks folks. Mistake, after mistake, after mistake. They bent one rim, chipped and scratched 2 others, and they drove my truck like it was a NASCAR Racing Truck to test drive it! The sad thing is, my truck is STILL in the shop, and will be there at LEAST another 2-3 days because yet ANOTHER mistake was made. I am NOT just talking about the I-240 and Walker store, this started at the NW Expressway store! Patience, I have had it. Things happen, but is has been almost 3 weeks, and yet ANOTHER mistake was made. I am not sure what Pep Boys considers Quality Service, but this is NOT it!!!! Get it together. Do not shop at pep boys.
Service desk staff very helpful with correcting issue with tire valve. Back on road within minutes.
This was the worst idea taking my car to this location! I had an appt on Friday at 3pm for an oil change, diagnostic check, and head lights. I wanted them to let me know what kind of issues would come about after the diagnostic check. I never received a call and I finally called at 6 which they close at 8pm to be told that the technician went home and that they would have to keep the car over night. I was told that my car would be the first thing Saturday morning and I would receive a call to let me know the update on what needs to be fixed. Saturday morning I call at noon to check on the status and was told that the technician was backed up from yesterday and that my car should be done no later than today. So Im a little frustrated but I say ok and wait on a call. Its now 5pm and still no call so of course I call again. I then get the response that something is going on with my fuel pump and there is a new recall that Chevy has placed but they dont know much information. I then asked if they have even touched my car for the oil change or head lights or anything else and was told that he didnt know and that he would have to check. I am never taking my car to this place and I would advise everyone else to never go to pep boys or at least this location!!! I will be picking up my car tonight even if they are done or not my guess is that no one has even looked at my car!!!!!
