Love the lox and cream cheese. Good to know if you dont want capers, tomato or onion it is MUCH cheaper to order as lox spread instead of lox and cream cheese. Ordered 2 days in a row, and first day paid twice as much. Second time someone was nice enough to tell me how to order it to get what I want at a better price.

We found this place randomly after a job interview, and they did not disappoint! The bagels and sandwiches are fresh, the service is great, and it is somewhere we have visited a few times now. HIGHLY recommend!!!

I have given this places several chances but for some reason they cant seem to understand what a toasted bagel with cream cheese is. Its not toasted or is barely toasted has almost no cream cheese and is not cut. They just cant get an order correct. I wont be coming back.

I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews. OSB is my favorite breakfast spot and I have been going for years. The bagels are yummy and the workers are kind. The owner is a really nice guy!

Absolutely worst experience. Being from Norman needless to say they do not compete with one another. Customer service, 0. The workers werent friendly and refused to give me a Jalapeño Cheddar bagel even though there was ONE LEFT. Didnt ask if I wanted my bagel toasted (they make sure to ask at other locations). Hoping their food would make up for their shortcomings, NOPE. Food is cold and doesnt taste as it should. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

Bagels are always good. I always get the plain ones sliced.Service needs works. I understand a Saturday mornings would be busy. The line would move more efficiently if the employees put a little effort in to the service. Of course all the employees )that I saw anyway) are younger. A few of them gave me the impression that they were just there to get a paycheck. Just to get the job done. No, “hi”, no smiles, no effort in making me feel like a valued customer. Made an order, picked it up, order was incorrect. Not one person would answer the phone when i called. Called a second location that also would not answer the phone, third location answered phone and offered to message manager of this location. Very terrible service. I really only gave it 2 stars because it used to be so good. The bagels dont taste as fresh as they used to be and I barely had any cream cheese on my bagel. The service prep team doesnt seam to give a care. My order was made online and wasnt ready when I got there. One of the girls preparing my order knew I was waiting. Rather than shout my name she just put it in the To Go area. In the past they were so on it, has there been a change in ownership?

I love love love this find! Since discovering it, I visit at least 2-3x a month out of being conservative. I wish I could go daily!My first visit, I had the Sooner Club- turkey, ham, Swiss, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes and onion. It was a great first start!Now- its Always the El Fuego- Chipotle seasoned pulled pork, jalapeños, onions, Jack cheese and spicy mayo ❤The restaurant itself is very clean and well maintained. The staff has always been friendly, even when they are busy..Also- just to note: Prices seemed a bit high at first but the quality is undeniable and hands down worth it!!

This particular location (May Ave) is pretty subpar to be honest. The establishment is clean and they were fully stocked on all the bagel choices. I came at like 10 on a weekday morning, and it was not busy at all-- I was the only person in the restaurant and there were only about 6 people dining outside. The staff was not friendly at all. Not only was I not greeted when I walked in, but I was standing at the counter with 4-5 staff members behind the counter... Not doing much.... And they didnt acknowledge me at all. They didnt say hi, didnt ask what Id like to order, or even tell me that theyd be with me in a second. They looked right at me, so I know they saw me.They all had longer hair, and only one had her hair fully pulled back, which I believe is a requirement for food service.The bagel was good and tasted fresh. I ordered two bagels with cream cheese. One had a LOT of cream cheese and the other had a tiny measley amount, so not uniform at all. I like a lot of cream cheese, and I didnt think to ask for extra or anything because the other locations use a larger scoop so each bagel has more or less the same amount. Both were roasted, but one was like, EXTRA toasted with super crispy edges, and one was only lightly toasted.Just overall pretty unimpressed with this location. Probably wont come back to this one for a while.

Well staffed, they brew the coffee correctly but on weekends they blare Christian music... during the week its at a perfectly fine level.

My experience was awful. We order two bagels with garden cream cheese and two coffees. Got the coffee in five minutes the bagels 30 minutes latter its bad that you got done with the coffee before your bagel showed up. I had to ask twice about them. Nothing special on them JUST bagels really. Bad

I order from here at least once a month if not more. It is ALWAYS slow, even if you call it in, and the order is NEVER what you asked it to be. If I could get the 1 bagel I order Toasted just 1 time, it will be a GD miracle! I love bagels for breakfast, so I just grin and bear it, come to work and have to disassemble to toast it myself, but at some point you have to give up. I think they just dont give a flip and since your usually in a hurry in the moring noone corrects it. Today was it for me having to pull out of my mouth avacado skin (a big piece). By OSB, good luck with it.

Tried to call multiple times to make a to go order no one would answer the phone. Get to the location they are not busy everyone standing around talking. In the middle of taking my order they where talking personal and got my order wrong had to repeat my entire order. This was Sunday May 30 at 1pm. Will not be going back to this location. This is the second time this has happened in two weeks.

We got a muffin, cookie, bagel, cinnamon roll, and iced coffee. All of the food was amazing even my 7 year old niece liked it all. We will definitely be going again. And they had treats for my puppies. They were so happy!

Staff very slow and more worried about their surroundings. Order was not made correctly even though online order. Havent been here since 2018 and likely will not make it back to this location.

We love this bagel shop but we were disappointed today. The bagels weren’t heated as we asked, pickles were missing, and no everything bagels the last two times. We hope it was just a bad day and won’t continue. Staff needs some oversight.

I had actually quit coming here for a while because the service and overall quality had dropped. I decided to try again today. First, no one would answer the phone so I had to go there to place the order. When I asked the cashier about it, she told me the phone is unplugged and they do that when they are busy (they weren’t that busy to me). I then tried to order egg salad (one of their staples) and they are out of it at noon on a Saturday. This has been a common occurrence in the past and apparently still a problem. It’s sad that a place I used to eat at most Saturdays has dropped so sadly. At least one of the owners used to be in here a lot but I have not seen them the last several visits so that probably accounts for the drop in service. The food tasted good so that’s a plus but I think I will continue to patronize my new lunch choices where the service is where it should be.

Has there been a change in ownership? This place has been my favorite for 30 years since it was in Cassidy Square. But weve ordered bagels every week for the last three weeks and we have never gotten a correct order even when the lady at the checkout repeats the order back. Wrong bagel, wrong topping, not toasted etc etc. Im going to say the bagels are still good, only once we got a stale one, but the service is mechanical, unfriendly, and full of errors. Check your order before you leave. If there was another bagel option close by, Id switch my allegiance.

Ever since they reopened the quality has gone way downhill. Several times we’ve ordered bagels with strawberry cream cheese and could taste palpable onion. My theory is that they aren’t cleaning the knives between slicing bagels or spreading cream cheese. I don’t want to pay 5 dollars for breakfast that doesn’t taste good.

Took 30 minutes for a Bagel. Was told to just sit down and wait when I asked at 30 minutes if they had started yet.

Quality and service has suffered. I went a few months ago and ordered and ham w/ cream cheese everything bagel. There was barely any cream cheese on it and one single slice of shaved ham. Unfortunately, I returned again, placed the same order and had the same experience. The product you recieve for the money is not worth it.

I was finally able to try OSB and I’m so disappointed. I ordered the Lox and cream cheese, extra cream cheese (1.25 extra). I received it through postmates so wasn’t able to fix it. Barely any cream cheese on the bagel, and only 2 small pieces of salmon. $12 I paid.....

Placed an order today for a meat lover’s bagel that was toasted. Service was quick and efficient. Received my bagel and delivered it to the business address requested. After leaving I received a call from the recipient of the bagel stating that all she received was just the bagel toasted without the meat. Make sure if you order from here you get a receipt and verify your order is correct before you leave. This is the second or third time I have had issues with orders being made incorrectly at this establishment.

I have loved this place since I was a child, and have supported it every single time it’s open and closed and relocated, I’ve even supported OSBC in Norman while it was open during my college days. That being said, it pains me to write a bad review.Something has to change with this specific location. When the owner is not here the people and younger adults running the place don’t care. It’s a shame. They don’t check the online orders, they don’t answer the phones, they are not as apologetic as they should be when someone has been waiting for over an hour for their online order. I ran into another friend at the very same time who was experiencing the same problem with an online order she placed.Don’t do online ordering if you can’t keep up with it!Even then, when coming in person to order... the wait is too long for a bagel toasted! 30 minutes or more is my average wait when ordering in person and it’s not even that busy.If I was the owner, I’d want to know what was being said about my business. I’ve heard more and more how people are beginning to drive to another location if they were wanting bagels.

Ever since they remolded the whole vibe of the restaurant has changed. They got rid of the old crew who worked there expect the one brunette girl, and none of them as happy as the previous crew. They also raised the prices las year and you no longer get what you pay for. It is a sad change considering how enjoyable this place used to be.

The variety of bagels is a bagel lovers smorgasbord. The bagels are fresh, the vegetable cream cheese is delicious, remarkable customer service and impeccably clean establishment. Will definitely go again.

Will not go back. People are very nice there, it would just be nice to get what I ordered. 2ce now, I have gotten home with the wrong order, which is quite frustrating, especially when they are not busy. Both times, I have been able to credit my card which is nice, yet would rather have my order correct. Even when the gentleman read my order to me over the phone, it was entered correctly, just not placed correctly.

What a wonderful surprise finding this gem! The bagels we had were delicious and definitely reasonably priced. If you are in the area pop in and try a bagel :)

The food is delicious, and they just renovated this location so it looks great. However, I almost always order my food ahead online and get so frustrated every time by the fact that there is no pickup counter here. Get on board with every other restaurant that allows online order placement and have online orders out and ready for people to pick up. I always feel like a jerk because I go to the front where I know they keep the to-go orders piled up. Im sorry, but Im not waiting in a line that is always long for another 20 minutes when I know my food is ready behind the counter. Thats the whole reason I place my order online. Otherwise great place, but please take this into consideration!

Ive purchased many many times from day 1 at this location. The Bagels are outstanding, my sandwiches were terrible per my comparison. Wet soggy broken up pieces of turkey, terrible tomatoes and a piece of romaine lettuce that looked like it was cut to size. Like most now noy a one napkin in the bag.Very nice young man help me dur to being Handicapped, he was kind enough to bring out my order. I am grateful for this and showed my gratitude respectfully.

This is much higher than in Minneapolis which is a much pricier city. The lox was not the best, not the worst.Not a wide variety of bagels here. The chain Einsteins has a wider selection. Disappointed.The service likewise was ok. Not rude, but not overly friendly either. Again, nothing to write home about.Normally when I eat a bagel with lox and cream cheese, I feel full. Not this time.The restaurant itself was clean.The most annoying thing was the Christian music belting from the speakers. People have a right to their religion, we all do, but not everyone is Christian. There is an old saying, business and politics or religion dont mix .Honestly I see no reason to come back here. I would have been better off getting bagels, cream cheese, and lox from the grocery store. It would have tasted better.The woman who keeps writing good reviews is associated with this business.

Just went there this morning to get a Firecracker bagel. Almost all of employees were wearing their face mask below their nose. So what is the point in wearing a mask? Then they take your card swipe it then turn their payment screen around and want you to touch to 4 times to complete your payment. Nope 👎 not sanitary at all. Come on management you need to do a much better job running this place.

Was there for 30 minutes and no one made coffee. Both tanks were empty. Ordered a ham croissant and the ham was cold. Bagel toasted also seemed cold and old. This place has gone way down hill. There was what seemed a homeless man sleeping on their couch in the eating area.

We get the egg,bacon and cheese bagle. Drm rick mustain told us about this place it is so good. Very clean and nice people.

Out-of-towner looking for a tasty place to eat breakfast and we saw this place and decided to stop to eat here. Wide variety of bagel selection and all looked very tasty!Elected to go with the Meat Lovers breakfast bagel on an Everything. When it came out, the bagel looked amazing! Lots of everything on it. But I was surprised to see a tiny hockey puck sized egg patty in the middle of the bagel, barely covering half the sandwich. Really, the lack of egg on the sandwich is the only reason I didnt give the place 5-star. Everything else about the sandwich was super delicious and well portioned!

Clean. Socially distanced. Also includes out door seating for the chill (not too chilly lol) mornings and hot coffee topped off with a bagel of your choice. Mmm yum delight.

Have ordered from this location and the last 5 times orders have been wrong, and always late on pick up. Order will be ready about 15-25min after your given quote. 1 order out of the 5 was during a rush the other times no more than 5-8 guests in building. Needs a lot of work

I love Old School Bagels! Few places in the city do such a consistently good breakfast that is also fast, friendly, and affordable enough to fit into your regular routine.Very consistently good service, food, and efficiency across locations as well. My regular spot is May and Hefner, but shout out to the location in Uptown too!

I love Old School Bagel more than most. I am extremely disappointed that you no longer serve CODA coffee. That has been a Driving force in my frequent stops for years.Review Edit: so, after a couple weeks of drinking COTE coffee, I am learning to love it. I still prefer CODA coffee but I’m coming around.

The bowling was fun. It wasnt too crowded. The staff was super helpful. It was a great price. However, there were a LOT of malfunctions. We had to keep resetting the pins because they wouldnt reset right. And our score board froze twice. The staff was very friendly and helpful in fixing them every time. All in all, a very fun experience and would visit again.

Ordered my food online and scheduled pickup for 9:30 on a Saturday. I was running late and got there at 9:40 and expected to walk in and grab my food that would be waiting on me. Asked the person at the counter for my order and they hadn’t even started the order yet. Waited 20 minutes for my food. Ordered online for the convenience factor and they couldn’t even provide the service to do so. Custom service at the May location I think has slowly declined.

I love this place. When I get to OKC this is always my go to. The bagel with lox and the cinnamon roll are my faves. The coffee is really good also. ***That first half of the review was 3 years ago. Back today for the first time while visiting from my home in Austin. The layout of the cafe has changed, awesome, but that is all that has changed. My bagel and cinnamon roll were even better than I remember. YUM!

In and Out with a Smile. Nice little quaint place to grab a bagel and coffee. They have an assortment of specialty bagel sandwiches. My favorite is the Old Smokey, which is a turkey sandwich with garlic and onion cream cheese, on an Everything bagel. I, however, substitute a garlic bagel for the double garlic shot, then they heat it. It is just lick-smacking good.They use a nice brand of coffee, and they have really small crunchy ice for their soft drinks. Very friendly and attentive staff, this is one of my favorites.So is this an authentic New York Style bagel? I have no clue Ive never had one, but they are textured differently and taste better than any bagel Ive had from any other bagel shop.

Old School Bagel Cafe is a great spot to grab a quick breakfast or lunch. Their service is very quick and it has a family oriented and relaxing but social atmosphere. Their turkey avocado sandwich is my favorite and the coffee is good as well.

Best place to kick your morning off or work at if you can work anywhere there is WIFI.You can get a large coffee (that is amazing and darker than a black hole) and breakfast for under six bucks, its five dollars just to get a Starbucks latte. The people are happy and dont look like they hate their life which is great. The owner of Old School Bagel is a great guy as well, so its nice knowing you support a great company as well as get a great value.

NEVER get the Build Your Own Bagel here. The price is absurd. They charged me $10 for an everything bagel with lettuce, cucumber, sprouts, and dressing. $10 for a piece of bread with vegetables. Absolutely absurd and ruined my experience with this place. I appreciate that they give you the BYOB option, but lose instant respect for this place with prices like that.

Old School Bagel Cafe is the best in OKC. I have been going since I was 6 years old. Great Bagels and coffee. The service is great. I highly recommend Bagel Shop even if you dont like bagels. Great muffins and other things. Great quick stop for breakfast and lunch.

She told me to get the Sooner Sandwich. I got my food very fast and the sandwich was one of the best that I have had. So, I go into the downtown Oklahoma City location (after noticing the day before when I have an excellent sandwich) that they offer coffee and all shades thereof. Order the large regular coffee, go to both machines and get only a half of the large cup out of both machines. Response to my question: I can brew some more if you like. No refund, no apologies, etc.

Listen change your knives ! I HATE the garlic onion taste on my french toast bagel. I dont know if its on the bagel or in the cream cheese but those tastes should not be together!

If you’re going to bother to put salads on the menu, complete the salad! A large bowl FULL of lettuce and sprinkled with toppings is not what your picture shows. And avocado and red onion would GREATLY improve your club salad. And vinaigrette, not sugar-packed dressing. Finally, fire the very rude blondish skinny kid with a major bad. attitude. He’s doing nothing to help your store.

I was never really a big fan of bagels, but I would grab one instead of a donut when someone would order them for a morning meeting. We tried some from the farmers coop and liked them quite a bit; they were about as hard as the ones from Panera. Finding Old School Bagel Cafe was like entering into a new bagel renaissance! Not only do they have absolutely wonderfully savory flavors like jalapeno cheddar, garlic, and onion but they have this softer fresher taste to them that I did not even realize bagels could have.

OKCs best option for bagels prepared as close to authentic as it current gets for Oklahoma. Friendly accommodating staff, offering a nice variety. Be sure to inquire about taking a bakers dozen to go. If dough is whats craved, get ready to sink into the maximum amount of gluten goodness. A popular favorite processed wheat restaurant.

My personal usual for lunch breaks. Good quality food, friendly service, a nice atmosphere, and a clean store keep me coming back. Sandwiches, salads, or just a bagel and schmear, this is definitely my go-to.

Great bagels! Always try to call in your order; lines can get quite long and prep time will go up during busy times. But they take phone orders perfectly and always have everything accurate and ready.
