Owners are very nice but this shop could do with a few changes that wouldnt be costly but could generate more profit for the shop.1. All the costumes should be stored in garment bags and not out in the open. You can smell the deteriorating fabrics from being exposed to the public, humidity, and heat. For browsing costumes, they just need a catalog - electronic would be great. This could also help their website.2. Update the website to show stock, prices, and to set aside outfits to try on in the store.3. They need to go through their stock and eliminate/update dated or destroyed costumes.4. Allow open browsing for Ben Nye products. While they are stopping theft, they are destroying profits by not allowing people to look closely at makeup. Most makeup purchases are made impulsively from finding something you like.5. Repaint and repair. This will be the most costly repair. They need to repaint, refresh, and renovate the interior and exterior. Their AC is in need of major repair. A costume shop should have the best air conditioning or else no one will want to try on costumes. Also - it is bad on costumes to store them in heat and humidity.

Masquerade is a very cool place. I do special effects makeup and this is the only local place I know that has Ben Nye products. They have a tray where you can test the different colors, which has always been supremely helpful to me vs buying online. If I need any sort of special effects stuff in a short time, I know I can get it here.

The costumes are old and dated. Prices are higher than I expected for a chiristmas robe.

I called recently to ask what kind of items they sell and a man who didnt speak much English didnt even understand what I was saying so I suggest that maybe you put somebody on the phone who actually can explain what you sell cause I had a specific question to ask and if somebody doesnt understand how can they help me? Im just going to go take my business elsewhere

The store had a vast selection and I rented a costume to be picked up at the end of the week. In about an hour. after learning the costume would not be needed, I called the owner to cancel my rental. She told me she remembered me and would cancel the rental and refund my $70.61. This is 2 weeks later and still have no refund from this costume rental store.Shady

I Rented a Elvis costume complete. It was fantastic. Hair, shoes, flashy jumpsuit, scarf, glasses, jewelry- everything. They were very helpful. Easy to deal with and friendly. I would definitely send my friends there, and in fact I have!

There are not many places you can find good quality makeup and they carry Ben Nye along with other brands. Last time i talked to them they will place orders for you as well if they do not have something in stock.They have been in business for a long time so they have tons of costumes for rental. Not so many to buy, but businesses need to know what their customers want. If enough people show a demand for something I am sure this business will do their best to fill it. Remember that a business does have to make a profit to stay in business, so they do what they know works for them.If you want more or something different, show them why it will work out for them as well as you.

Pretty good place to rent a costume. Especially if you are trying to recreate something that is not a commonly sold costume kit.

I stopped in one day and had a look with my bf. The wigs seem fairly decent and I might stop in to get one if I need.The costumes seem a bit outdated and..(I know theyre rentals) used.I got excited when I saw the mascot heads but after looking them over, I noticed they were all a bit outdated, very 60s.I would suggest to whoever makes the mascot heads, that they visit around to see current standards. Even to go as far as search for fursuits.That might help them get business with schools, business and even the furry community (and the prices for heads start around 100 by themselves and they seem they would be perfectly capable of building the paws which would up the sale to around 200) To extend on that topic, they could then very easily offer their services online, emphasizing on the aforementioned furry community.If they updated his style, I would certainly buy from them. It would be very convenient to have somebody clearly as talented as them right in my city and a big city like OKC is a great place to be when you make specialty costumes.TL;DRUpdate the mascots and profit from the furries and businesses/schools with mascots
