Visiting home from Ramstein Air Base...we have NOTHING here for the fallen 13 in Afghanistan, but my Beloved Tinker had three huge displays. It was absolutely wonderful to see. Mr. Larry down by clothing sales has a booth where he sells patches and hats. He is an absolutely amazing human...a highly decorated and humble veteran who is still working for veterans today. Be sure to ask him about the tattoos on his leg. 😉 Really cool guy, he is a huge part of The Tinker Exchanges personality.

Typically like any other BX. Nice to have as a shopping option. Big items usually are the things i look for here...save the tax money.

Had everything I needed at good prices. Customer service was horrible during a visit 5 years ago. Has gotten better since and was good during this visit.

It seems like over the last few years, some of the Exchanges Ive been to have been selling less stuff unlike before. It seems like the higher ups are trying their best to makes these places go away. I used to love shopping at these places but, recently not so much. I wish they would sit down and rethink some of their operations structures. Im being nice right now with 3 stars (wanted to give 2 or less). I always supported these places and would love to see them stay around.

The selection of things to buy is huge and some of the prices are astounding compared to other places. We looked through our receipt and checked prices at other stores and found that we saved over $150. The only thing that actually cost more was Gillette razor cartridges. We will DEFINITELY go back. If you are military member or federal employee you can and should shop here if only for the tax free savings.

Nice place, could do better with their stock, they almost never have what youre looking for but almost always other things you forgot you needed. Management is great aside from a handful of lazy bad eggs, if you get a cruddy manager just ask for the next one politely, General Manager is QUEEN STATUS but dont expect to see her just because you asked, shes busy making her store better.Needs Improvement, but not a bad store, voice your opinions to the associates because 99% of them are all awesome people!

We enjoyed our day on base at Tinker. Oklahoma is lucky to have this base that offers so much to our State and the people who serve here.

This place is awesome but has no communication about some action taken by management. They closed UPS store, but no announcement has been made.

Visiting and shopping at all the different exchanges is a must for us. I was disappointed in that the clothing and shoe departments were certainly lacking. That was a first. Everything was athletic clothing. No shopping here.

Love the selections and pricing. The Queen of Pompadours at the barber shop did an excellent job on my sons hair for his fathers day gift!! Thank you!

Poor selection of products and super poor customer service. The Fat lady at the checkout was a rude person. Its obvious she never defend freedom. The only battle she has been in was with a pancake.

All of my experiences with the exchange have been great.

Clean, well lit, and pretty big. Getting on Post you do need a Military ID, and currently require a day pass for visitors that do not have a Military ID. Workers are helpful and food court is always clean.

Lots of name brand apparel and items. A great place to find pretty much anything youre looking for. However, the service is very mediocre, the checkout lines ALWAYS take at least 20 minutes, and the prices are steeper than Mt. Everest.

There is no saving like it used to be. Not worth the trip.

Exchange is too pricey and they dont carry a lot of variety. No one wants overpriced stuff they can get at an outlet store or no variety. How about Ann Taylor clothes and suites and ON shoes?

They need to sell Jordans. Why do I have to travel to JBSA or Nellis or Travis to get Jordans???

I really love tinkers exchange I recently have visit the one in Dayton Ohio It was nice but I felt the air Force base here was bigger and more selection to choose from. Both bases have helpful employees but I really felt here at tinker they really extend themselves out to really help you any way they can.

Poor selection, store is run down, Only reason that it even earned 2 stars is due to the customer service.

Store is clean and organized. Workers are friendly and go out of their way to assist if you need help. Prices are a tad higher on some items, but overall not extremely expensive.

An old Air Force military installation, but has very good services and shopping choices!!!! Spent nearly two hours shopping and visiting the air museum. A great place!!!

Great to shop but check your prices and latest technology purchases. Tax free is good, but some prices are high.

Its your typical exchange on base. Only irritating thing was the free hand sanitizer at the entrance was accidentally filled with hand soap so everyone had to go to the bathroom to wash it. Not horrible, but mildly irritating.

Very spacious in the main exchange. Staff very friendly and so are the other customers. Subway and taco bell were really good. Just wish the fountain drinks would be stocked so they dont keep running out.

Everything you would expect from an AAFES…. Not the largest, nor the smallest….

I found a computer for my son for Christmas. I shopped around and found the best price. Blake was very friendly and helpful.

I like that everyone is required to wear a mask through this pandemic, including customers. It is on base and access is Iimited, which is nice because the lines are never long. There is food, coffee, and shopping in one location so it is convenient. The only things I have issues with are the random times a store is supposed to be opened based on the hours but isnt (this is rare and could be COVID19 related), and there isnt much variety in the exchange. For example, the outdoor and garden area I wish had more available in the store.

Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. The store itself is well organized and very clean. The food court has a variety of fast food and is kept very clean.

My husband and I went for a couple of specific things and were able to get what we wanted for a good price. The staff are very friendly and helpful when we needed it. The check out process was quick and easy and she was also friendly and helpful. We will be back when we need to!

This one star only applies to ordering furniture online..... the actual in store BX is awesome. But online..... not okay. I ordered a bedroom set and waited a month and a half just to be told my order was canceled.. I ordered on April 28th and June 8th was notified my order was just canceled because it was taking too long to get the items in stock... but when I ordered the items it said they WERE in stock. It could just be my “ luck” but it’s risky business ordering online. I expected to have a bedroom set mid may when I moved into my new home.

BX was pricey but commissary was just what I needed

Wonderful customer service. Wonderful place to shop. Old fashion courtesy. The staff are there to truly help you. They will also match prices on the exact same item advertised elsewhere. Highly recommend this place if you have base privileges with a military ID.

I would give five stars, but they had limits on meats. They had no alcohol and very few paper products.

I went in to go look for a gun in the outdoor adventure section. I went up to the gun counter and started looking for it. I was the only one there. The guy behind the counter was sitting down in front of a computer in the far right facing out. He never looked up nor acknowledged me. When I asked about the pistol, his face remained buried in the Point of Sale computer and commented in a non-friendly way, what you see there is all we have. No hello, no how can I help you. Zero interest in me, a 24 year, retired Air Force vet. This occurred yesterday, 23 Apr 2019. About a week ago I bothered the same guy to buy a box of ammo. He acted as though I was interrupting his day. Zero customer service oriented!

The staff was friendly! The Clearance prices could not be beat. Love this store. Has so much more than other Exchanges.

Always a nice experience shopping at the Base Exchange. Very clean and the staff is always helpful and knowledgeable about where products are located and if they are in stock. Prices are fair and quality is very good.

Its a nice place. Everyone were friendly and you could find almost anything you want, ranging from household furniture, clothing, fresh and dry food to just about anything.

Always a great place to pick up groceries. Best meat prices anywhere. I do wish it was more intuitively organized though.
