I am from Asia and at Dot Wo... Man!! The food is ALWAYS so good. Always spot on for flavor, spiciness, temperature... This is my go-to place whenever I want Chinese food. The service is fast and even the food is served quickly! The servers are proactive. I never have to ask for a to-go box, they ask me if I need one. They are always around if I need them, they dont disappear.
Had a delicious meal of stir fry flat noodles with a generous portion of chicken, pork, shrimp, green pepper, and onion. Its enough to share between two person but I have an appetite. The restaurant was buzzing with weekend crowd but the tables are spread out nicely. One side of the restaurant has bigger round tables for larger party while 1-4 guests can enjoy their meal on the other side. Service was prompt.
Our go-to spot for Chinese food!
Food was excellent but my service was horrible. We were sat at a dirty table. My waitress brought me a Dr. Pepper instead of my Diet Coke then never came back after asking for a moment to look at the menu. Someone else took our order and fixed my drink. I didnt get refills until we were finished eating. And my original waitress again brought me another Dr. Pepper! What a joke. I wont be back for a while.
The overall food was good, but sadly I have to give this restaurant three stars. When I ordered the wontons the picture clearly showed standard wontons with the cream cheese filling. However what I got was just a basic fried wonton shell. make sure that when you order you get exactly what you desired. Other than that, the restaurant was clean, food pickup was smooth, and the portions are large.
Very delicious and hot. Wasnt crowed at all. Great service as well. We always go back for more..
This is a nice place to dine in and relax...The food is tasty. The eggrolls are delightfull.
Always have great food here. The food is not doused in oil like other Chinese restaurants. Its always fresh and great prices.
There were 14 of us, so the waiter put us in a corner, so that all kids are at one tablet and adults are at the round table. The restaurant wasnt really busy for in-store dinning, so we didnt have to wait for tables. The dishes came out pretty fast, overall the food was great, couple dishes were little bit saltire, some are pretty good taste.
Delicious food! Not too much of any ingredient, and large portions.
I have been eating at Dot Wo for many years, both dine in and carry out. I have never been disappointed, except for today! I love their egg rolls, but now they have changed them and they are not good! The eggs rolls are filled with a mush-like substance, and are gummy. So dissatisfied with the new egg rolls. AUGUST 2021
Great food all around. Loved the appetizers, soup, and main course. My husband & I ordered the fried calamari, fried Brussel sprouts, hot & sour soup, husband got the happy plate?, & I ordered the chicken with cashews. All of it was so so good. This is our new go to for Chinese!
This was the worst, overpriced Chinese food I’ve ever had. The portion size for sesame chicken was very small, and I requested no veggies in both the orders of sesame chicken, and they still came with broccoli. That chicken was extremely chewy. I definitely won’t be back, and will be sure to spread the word that you are better off going to Panda 🐼 Express. At least their chicken isn’t chewy. What a waste of my hard earned money 💴 💵 💰 💲💲
The Triple Delight is so good, I crave it for a couple days after our visit. Tender beef, chicken and shrimp in a (not too) spicy brown sauce ... no veggies except some green onion and dried peppers. Good thing the portions are large so I always have some to take home! The Szechuan Beef is also very good. The restaurant itself is quite large, well-lit and nice. Service very good though there may be a bit of a language barrier when asking for changes to the posted menu.Dot Wos menu is extensive, with good descriptions of the food unlike some other Chinese restaurants which may only have a dish name. Dishes are served family style. Chop sticks available upon request.
First visit to this place as I saw the menu to be interesting. They offered authentic Chinese entree on the menu so I was eager to give it a shot. Ordered the veggie with mushroom, salted crab and stir fry calamari. Upon taking the first bite, I noticed the chef did not use any msg in his dishes which is a surprise to me due to the fact that msg is not stranger in Chinese cuisine. In the matter of fact, their dishes might look dark in color but the taste in on the lighter side. I’m a lover of heavy taste but appreciate healthy dishes from to time.
The best Chinese food in town!!! They have a great menu!!
We went to Dot Wo tonight. We love this restaurant and our server was awesome. Our food was delicious! We highly recommend this restaurant. 🙂
Its good. Nothing really stands out. In the corner of a strip mall. Staff are great. Ambiance is nice. Food is decent. Prices reasonable.
Always delicious food and great service. 😁
Best Asian Food Ever. I highly recommend the Orange Chicken
They need more server in there. Can’t enjoy good food like that
Just ordered take out. hot and sour soup and beef szechuan. it was over 20 dollars for this. the soup looked like egg drop soup and tasted 3-4 days old. the beef szechuan had virtually no vegetables and was all canned. canned mushrooms, canned water chestnuts, canned baby corn and bamboo shoots. it was absolutely the lowest quality. they cut so many corners to make a buck. be ware. i will never go back. this is amongst the very worst chinese places i have gone to. 20 dollars for canned and leftover food. they have no honor and are disgraceful.
Delicious food and friendly staff!
The food was slightly bland but very fresh. Prices seemed a little steep for the serving sizes.
First time here: exceptional Sweet & Sour Pork and the Mongolian Beef was good ( not the best Ive had).
This place use to be so good but when I get the meal I order it makes me sick now. I asked for light soy sauce on my meal and it came out with more than usual so I asked that it be remade. It came out again incorrect. The guy waiter told me the management said I could not come come back to their establishment.
If youve never gone on the flavor adventure locked within the elusive X.O. sauce, drop into Dot Wo and ask for the chinese menu. This more extensive and more authentic menu is available on request, and features several dishes with the legendary sauce. If you dont know what Im talking about just go and try it. We got the X.O. sauce seafood mix, which was my favorite, and the X.O. sauce tofu hot plate which comes on a blazing hot skillet in similar fashion to fajitas. We also got the eggplant, chicken, and salted fish hot pot, which was still simmering for a while at our table. What was just going to be a quick bite turned into a lunch date.I cant recommend trying this enough. If youve been there and done that with generals chicken and youve started getting into real chinese food, X.O. sauce is one of the stepping stones on that journey, and Dot Wo is one of just a few places to find it in OKC, if you know to ask for the chinese menu.
Good store go there every week to get my pot stickers
Nice Selection and prices are not bad you actually get a little more than what you pay for.
I love this place. Food is amazing. We eat here at least once a month.
It was ok. Nothing spectacular.
Excellent food and service.
Great food made fresh, service could be better though.
Best Chinese food in town. Their fried rice is incredible, and their shrimp spring rolls are the best!
Good food. Great lunch specials.
Wonderful Chinese food.
I have never written a fast food review in my life but dang their stuff is good. It tastes like real food with actual seasonings. Good job guys.
Excellent food! True Chinese and delicious.
I Love Chinese food!!!! The food here is amazing and the staff are very friendly!!!
Love their lunch! Fast and delicious!
The worst food we ever had. We pay 2 much money not worth it at all. Be honest we were try to order from Golden Phoenix on the NorthsideBut they were close. I’ll never order from this place ever again.
Mostly good tasting food, but the fried rice wasnt very favorable or moist..js
Trails left in the shrimp..disappointed by that. Food was ok.
Food was fabulous... not the usual greasy takeout this is quality food and great service!!
Best combo fried rice I the state.
This is really good authentic Chinese food. Great service staff. Its also has a very elegant and romantic atmosphere. Great place to take a date.
Sweet and sour shrimp, same as you get at any shopping center frozen no flavor. Sweet and sour sauce was good. Dont ask to substitute noodles for rice. Just thought food would be better than the shopping center delivery places.
Not a bad place to grab lunch. Their hot sauce is good. I just went there for lunch and had egg drop soup with a shrimp dish. Service was decent. Not a bad place for lunch.
Food was delicious, service excellent, and atmosphere was calming.
We love Dot Wo! We literally come here every Monday night and order the same thing. Tonight, the server didnt even offer menus...LOL She asked if we wanted the usual. This is our go-to location for Chinese cuisine. The Sesame Chicken is perfectly cooked, tender and juicy on the inside with just the right amount of crunchiness on the outside without being overdone.
Theyre service is slow but thats due to the holidays the reason my tea got cold and hasnt been replaced. They are very friendly and food is good I recommend eating here. Great place for a date or spend time with friends and family. Place is always clean. Very professional
Yum! Really enjoyed the pepper steak.
I was very disappointed not only to have paid $50 for Chinese food. Which may I add is the most I have ever paid for take out.We got general tsos chicken, sweet n sour ckn, lo-mein and 3 egg rolls.I wouldnt have been as disappointed in the price, had the food been decent. One meal was literally so spicy that an hour later and my mouth and lips are still burning on fire. The food was just unacceptably nasty. Now herei am, $52 later and still hungry. Very disappointed. Photo is of how much food is left AFTER dinner. 🙄🙄
This establishment always SATISFIES!!! Excellent 👍 FOOD!! Giant portions. We usually share.
Most excellent food!
Great for date night. Very quiet upscale atmosphere. Love the signing rice soup!
Got 2 combo meals. Soups were not good. General Tso’s chicken was orange chicken with spice added. Also, was kind of pricey for what you get. Egg rolls were good though.
Food was pretty good, but the service was pretty lacking considering the ratio of staff to patrons. We ended having to yell for a round of drink refills, and some of us are service industry peons. We dont like doing that!
Spacious and delicious
Dot Wo is a pretty good restaurant. I would give it 5 stars, except the prices are about $2 a plate higher than they should be.
Good Chinese food. We ordered take out 45 minutes before they closed and they were very nice about it. Watch out for the spicy sauce on the side, it is indeed very spicy! Note that this food is not very Americanized, so if that is what you are looking for, you might be happier somewhere else. We liked it.
I regularly take out lunch from this location, usually twice per week. The food has always been delicious and ready to go in the quoted time. The portions are fantastic, usually enough for a large dinner as well and the value is outstanding - just under 8 dollars for the lunch combination plate, after tax. Dot Wo is my favorite local lunch spot, hands down!
Love their food. Great service. Reasonable prices. This rates in my top 5 fave Chinese restaurants around OKC.
Very good Chinese food. The friend pork chops were our favorite. The lobster ok but the salt and pepper beef was good. The fish however, I don’t remember it’s name, was extremely pricey. I don’t know if they over charged us for it or what. I think it was like $24 for just a pound. Like come on.
The vegetable egg fu yung was amazing. I am so happy we stopped in!
My family felt it was a 4 over a 3 this time and Im ok with that!
Food and service were great. Newly renovated interior sets a great mood.
Great food for a reasonable price, but the fortune cookies just give advice, not fortunes.
Best Chinese food
Very good
We love Dot Wo! Always great service. Always great food. Thank you!
Im am greatly disappointed. We loved coming here to eat but we had always got it carry-out but for the first time we decided to dine in. When I my order came I realized I had made a mistake. I wanted to fix it and willing to pay extra however It was hard to get the servers attention and when I did, I asked a simple question. The server didnt give me time to explain and said No, it does not come that way then darted off.And what make it worse is that i feel as if she went off to the bar, that was not even 5 feet away from us, and was snickering about it.They have good food but their service was upsetting. I dont think Ill dine there again.
Obsessed with the orange chicken! But I am so upset yall moved out of Edmond and relocated 31 minutes away! 😤😢😭 I used to eat here all the time growing up; moved away and came back to find out i have to drive the distance just to eat there. It still taste as good as i remember. Still fast friendly service for a sit down.
Been going here for years. Wonderful service every time and great food! Atmosphere is casual, and family friendly. Though it can get a little loud sometimes.
Genuine Chinese, not some knock-off. Thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere and cuisine. My favorite is sweet & sour pork with fried rice. Meals can be had family style. Not a buffet, order from a real menu. If you think youve had Chinese, try this place. It will change your mind about the buffets.
Huge menu. Large dinning room with a lot of seating. Quiet here. Food is excellent and the prices good with a lunch menu.
Went there during lunch around 1230ish. No wait and got seated right away. Staff took our orders in a decent amount of time. Food was delivered in a decent amount of time.I ordered the dinner portion of sesame chicken. It was very good. I think 2.00 for an eggroll was not worth it, but still tasty. I think the lunch offering would have been a better value. The tables were gross. The surface was clean but there was lots of crumbs and yuck in the table cracks.I will eat there again but take out only.
The food is excellent, beautifully plated, the service was fast and efficient, food came out hot. Its a romantic setting and the decorations are beautiful. Over all wonderful experience.
Best Chinese food Ive had in a long time!
Very good, service was great, and the bathrooms were very clean. Food has the flavor of very well prepared.
Always fantastic. Our go to lunch
Great place too eat. Fast service great staff and wonderful food!!
Great Chinese food and great staff and the prices are very reasonable. One of my favorite s and even though l live out of town I always go out my way to drop in and order extra to take home😊
Great Customer service. Food was out of this world good. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean.
The food is always good, as is the service. The atmosphere is quiet and subdued. I have never had anything but a pleasant dining experience while at Dot Wo. Try it youll like it! !
Dot Wo is freshly cooked Chinese food! So much better than those buffet restaurants!. I dont live in Okc, but look forward eating at Dot Wo whenever I visit my son! Happy Dining!
Rice was nasty and dry, to much grisle on the sesame chicken and do they even know how to cook egg rolls properly 🙄
Excellent food service is okay.
Amazing food, atmosphere, service, and cleanliness. Prices are great for the amount of food you get.
The food is great but the service needs work
Food is always great! Service is a hit and miss but overall good! Definitely recommend!
Good place for a gre at tasting meal. Had chicken and snow peas and triple delight. Both of us loved our meals.
