If you go in looking for drums talk to Tim! Absolute professional and genuinely cares to help customers. He helped guide us through our journey to purchase a drum set for our daughter. I appreciate the fact he took the time to explain and add value to our search! 10/10 deserves mad props!

It gets 2 stars for being open. Only a hand full of employees are worth a darn. Not very friendly. Can be condescending to customers. Basic to no knowledge of the things they sell. Doesnt have an amp room. Has gotten almost impossible to try out any gear that isnt bottom tier. Online inventory doesnt match to in-store very well. I have tried to give good and bad examples. The only good thing is they are still open after 6pm and on Sundays.

Staff was very knowledgeable. They usually dont have what Im looking for. Im a synth lover and would like the option to mess around with a Moog or Roland.

This place is just a blast for any musicians! Their guys also try to give you the best deal possible, that is always a plus in my book

Ive purchased a lot gear from Guitar Center over the years and have always been happy with my purchases. I recently bought a Martin guitar and want to thank Adam K for helping me to find it. He definitely did a great job answering my questions, offering advice, and making the whole experience seamless. Overall a good place for music equipment. They have lots of guitar, bass drums and live sound/ lighting. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Have been going there for years. Online orders not really the best, but I dont blame the store. Just kind of a bodge. But still recommend.

I had purchased an Epiphone Sheraton II pro from Guitar Center, online, when this pandemic began. I had the strings replaced last year but it just didnt play right for me....too hard to push down on the frets. Today I went in and problem solved by the repair center. Apparently they lowered my strings and now the guitar has become playable for me. Thank you.

We went here to get a a guitar for my daughters birthday. We found a kit that we were looking for. They didnt have it in stock, but they were awesome and was able to create a package for us with in the price range as the kit.

Customer service was helpful. I purchased cables from them about 8 months ago, I had a faulty cable, they replaced it for me quickly and had me rocking and rolling!

Dear lord do I absolutely love this place, looks small from the outside but is absolutely huge on the inside, they have everything you can ask for and if your lucky and also play left handed you might find a guitar that fits your need, and their room with the expensive guitars is absolutely beautiful they surprisingly have an 8-string along side a bunch of original fender stratocaster

I remember when guitar center used to bring a sense of awe but lately it has been more a sense of awwww, kinda sad. I love being able to walk in and actually play an instrument and I cant say that they did anything wrong... Its just a different feel overall. Maybe its just me? My cynicism does seem to exponentially increase with age. Lol

There was talk of GC causing Mom & Pop businesses to go under but this isnt entirely true. For the consumer, there is a ton of used gear that goes through here and they have always been honest with me, regarding a problem with a guitar. This used black Charvel I got from them when they opened was a great deal. This Martin USA Martin D-1 was a heck of a find. This 1987 JCM800 was also a rare item. I purchased it not working and repaired it. I also like being able to make purchases late in the evening and on weekends; however I still frequent small shops as well.

Customer service was great and the man who took care of us got us everything we needed. We were in an out in 15-20 mins. Absolutely love that.

The customer service is usually overwhelmed by many and not enough salesmen to get you in and out quickly,but overall when you get your turn theyre attentive and help out or will find out the info or products youre looking for! I shop here quite frequently and of course the longer you patronize a place you become acquainted with the sales reps as they do with you, the prices are fair and selection is usually good and like most places covid has created a shortage of supplies because of transit and shipping logistics so sometimes a wait is involved,go check em out if you havent,and if youre into playing instruments besides brass band equipment Id recommend this company to anyone who hasnt ventured there !

It was fine. I just picked up a used piece of gear I found online. I do not and will not shop in crowded spaces until everyone has the opportunity to get vaccinated.

I ordered a 3800.00 Gibson Hummingbird online and selected this location for pick up. My order sat in processing for two days before I was instructed to call their verification department. I was told I would need an additional code from my bank or a screen shot of my bank statement showing how much they charged me even though guitar center had already been paid the money out of my account.Since I live over 2 hours from this location and the GC rep on the phone couldnt guarantee delivery I canceled my order. Guess someone else is going to sell me guitar.I only wanted to shop here because I expected my convenience from a big business.

I dont know how people rate this place so high for the staff. I just went in and looked around for about 45 minutes for speaker stands and not a single member of staff tried to help or could be found. Same as it ever was I guess.

Took my step son there he loves guitars they gave him a good deal. they were awesome....

Joe was awesome, he was great at explaining software differences and also helped us find an additional program to use in addition to what we were looking at.

Worst customer service. Three employees standing at the register didnt greet or acknowledge. Enjoyed looking at products and being able to touch them before being purchasing. After 15 min was asked to leave because false information trumps a right to choose.

Came in to grab a mic on the way to a gig, the team was super helpful and got me squared away.

They were wall to wall busy, mid day sunday, maybe 6 people working(that I could see). We received excellent help from staff even though we were only buying small maintenance items, like strings and picks!

Went for Christmas gift for my daughter. They were super busy, and I had to wait for a sales person to come help me. Cant blame them for being busy during Christmas. The sales guy literally didnt know anything about guitars. Nothing. He basically pointed at a guitar and said that ones popular. Random kid playing around with a guitar was far more helpful than the sales guy, who didnt even know if it came with a gig bag or anything.

I think its a good place to shop, especially when they have sales. Purchased two speakers 600 watts very very good price.

After waking the whole store for 15 minutes without asking or attempting to understand if we had a medical condition, we were rushed out of the store for not masking. Ill take my money anywhere else from now on. I dont need to be reminded of my medical condition as i live with it every day already. You would think an organization built around the concepts of artistic expression wouldnt discriminate.

Sad that our church purchased a microphone our pastor could wear and walk away from the alter. The model we bought was over 300. Yet in less than a month it quit working. We took back and they wouldnt warranty it, we had to go thru the manufacturer. The manufacturer warranties without issue. I just expected the guitar store to stand behind products they sell. The next week I saw where they were filing for bankruptcy. Buyer beware.

Ive been going to this guitar center 16yrs. they always have what I need and friendly consumer service just got some electric guitar strings ernie ball heavy gauge about to play me some heavy metal 🤘rock on guitar center. If you have not been to this location I highly recommend it your wont be disappointed.

No sales representative to help, apatently you need to be a musician to buy there, there is no advisories to guide you. Really bad place, NOT recommended if you are not a musician that knows what you want.

We go here for all of the music equipment we need. Guitar strings, straps, picks, saxophone reeds. The people who work here are knowledgeable and very friendly. They have never made me feel like I was asking a dumb question.

They have the stock where the local shops might not. I tried all the local shops to find a pedal and finally broke down and went to GC. It is just too busy and takes too long for me. The staff is usually running around to busy too help (not their fault, they are working hard). Not sure how to fix this.

I ordered a Silver Ultimate Two Tier Keyboard Stand. I opened the product and it was broken. I returned to GC and they ordered a replacement. I arrived in 2 days. Curbside pick up was available. I opened the box and it was perfect. Thank you to the GC OKC team for helping out OKC Musicians.

Guitar Center has always been my go-to music store. Chris, at the repair desk, went well above my expectations today! He restrung my bass, adjusted the intonation, tuned it, and did some other maintenance on it for me. Did I mention it was a 5-string bass? All the above for only $59.99 plus tax!!You da man, Chris!

These Guys were incredible!! Helped my 13 yr old daughter pick a ukelele and gave her full attention and she loved it!! Very clean gave us face masks and guided us to the restroom to wash our hands!! We will definitely go back to this store!!

Its a pretty nice Guitar Center with a decently sized selection. They even have some extended range guitars, which you dont always find at other, smaller locations. The staff is friendly enough without being intrusive. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5, is because the day I went in most recently none of the keyboard displays were working and some of the electronic drum displays werent working either. I understand that those things get used heavily, but its a bummer when youre actually shopping those items and not just in there to play with them for fun. Otherwise, its a good store.

Really bad costumer service, bad sales associates, first time at the store, for sure the last one, rather online.

I can’t manage to get in contact with the store. I’ve been calling every hour since yesterday. I understand that every employee is probably occupied navigating customers through the store but if no one can answer the phone it would probably be a good idea get some more help.
