Although they were out of cookie dough I had the cookie monster and wife had the blue berry cheesecake in waffle bowls. Both were delicious and tasty! At $4 each for the amount we got it was a good price. If we have known about the order window outside before we came we would have brought one or two of our fur babies with us.
Pros: family friendly, outdoor seatingVery slow service. There was only one person in front of me but there was about a 10 min wait. The order window is outside the main restaurant, right by an entrance so the line for icecream gets muddled causing confusion. I ordered a brownie sundae $8.00 but it was missing sauce and pistachios. The brownie AND icecream was rock hard. On top of that, it was served with a tiny sampling spoon so it broke on 2nd spoonful. It wouldnt be so bad if it was served in a to-go dish but it was served on a paperplate with no covering. This place could be a good thing but as it stands it is overpriced AND underwhelming icecream
I got mint chocolate chip in a cone. It was very delicious, creamy with little chocolate chips.Downside, it was very crowded and they only had one poor man working the counter on a mild spring Saturday night. Hire more people, or definitely double whatever that young man was being paid. Both? Both would be fine.
Bibi ice cream is the best ice cream in OKC. Hands down. If you havent ventured to Chisholm Creek and enjoyed a cup of this delicious ice cream you are missing out! The ice cream is rich, creamy and delicious and the flavor options are awesome. I loved the pistachio, SO GOOD.They have several sauces and topping options that add to their delicious handmade ice cream.Next time Ill be trying a brownie sundae, because why not? :) If you are interested in vegan they do have vegan options and you can buy a pint to take home if you dont want to enjoy right away. The selection is small and Id love to see this business thrive and open up a larger store with more selection. Give them some more time and space and Im sure they would dazzle us with more delicious flavors. It looks like they are part of the pizza place next door and the owners are testing out ice cream. Well, they hit it out of the park and I hope they keep going. The shop does not have any place to sit, it really is just a small little corner of the pizza restaurant but right outside the door there are tables, chairs and yard games to play with a view of the little lake. Sitting outside enjoying our ice cream was the makings of a perfect summer night! After moving here from a place that had an outstanding locally made ice cream shop I had been disappointed with the options I have tried in OKC until I stopped at Bibi. Im never one to turn down ice cream if offered, so Im sure Ill keep trying other places but if Im even close to bibi Ill make sure our dessert stop is there!
I wish I could leave an actual rating but considering the fact that I didn’t even get to try the ice-cream, it’s a bit difficult. It was Friday, May 21st. My birthday. My boyfriend and I excitedly walked in to redeem my complimentary birthday treat and some ice-cream for my dear. It was 10:05 pm. Nobody was behind the counter so we awkwardly stood there for a moment. We’ve both worked at restaurants so we know to give PLENTY of time for closing. Disappointingly, the lady walked up and said, “Sorry, we’re closed.” Guess a birthday treat wasn’t in the stars for me, despite the door AND Google saying we still had 55 minutes to close.
We went on Saturday. The man who took our order was very rude give us attitude, made an ugly face when we told him what we wanted. The first time we went up to the window and said you were going to have to come back later of course with an attitude. The second time we went inside he was rude too ! Never going there again! The guy was tall and skinny black hair on one side. He never had a smile. 3 people in front us us in the line and 2 people behind us. I really didn’t know what was his problem. But he shouldn’t be that way, because he gets paid by the customers to go there.
I got 2 scoops, which is usually $7, and the cashier charge me for 1 scoop, which is $4, and we asked him, and he said it was fine. Amazing service, quick, and delicious.
Went on a Saturday night and they were out of almost every flavor. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, we were told all the “popular” flavors were out. They told us that they make everything on Sunday, so by Saturday they don’t have much left. ???? Ummm, wouldn’t a business plan on having products available on their busiest days/nights? For example, the weekend? Very poor product planning and definitely not worth the wait or the price.
Delicious ice cream, GREAT service, and a good price for what you get! Will be returning!
I love Bibis Ice Cream! So yummy. The patio is the perfect place to enjoy your scoop.
I tried to patronize this establishment with two of my friends tonight 4/9/21. We entered the restaurant because we did not see anyone in the ice cream window. We waited about 5 minutes and no one acknowledge us or ask if we needed any assistance. There were 4 or 5 employees in the kitchen area and not one acknowledged us. They were busy talking and a couple of them looked at us and didn’t say a word. We decided to leave because apparently they did not want to serve us and I do not spend my money at an establishment that does not provide great service. I would recommend to let your employees know that they should acknowledge customers whether they are patronizing the restaurant or your ice cream business.
So if you are looking to come here for vegan ice cream. They dont have any. Its a lie. I have extreme lactose intolerance and had to just go home.Side note: my wife got one of there other flavors non-vegan and said it was terrible.Save your money and go to braums.
This is some of the best ice cream you will ever eat in your entire life. Every single flavor is a hit, including the vegan options. When an ice cream place can master vegan ice cream, you just know that they know what theyre doing. Other vegan ice creams taste borderline bland and unexciting. This place has mastered it all! Both the regular and the vegan options are equally as delicious. Each flavor, no matter which one you choose, is rich and creamy and packed with flavor. Its so delightful to come here and enjoy a scoop of heaven.
Bibis is okay ice cream shop attached to a lovely bar and grill.. very nice atmosphere inside great outdoor patio seating area.. so the ice cream is okay.. but if you just want somewhere nice to sit and enjoy it its pretty good place to go
This is definitely a cute idea to have an indoor/outdoor gelato place as a part of Birra Birra. I went after dinner there over the summer because their gelato looked delicious. It was pretty solid. I think I got rocky road. The scoops were big; I actually couldn’t finish it with the meal I had. Lots of different flavor selection. There are other ice cream/gelato places I like better, so I probably wouldn’t go out of my way for Bibi’s but would eat if it were there.
Babes works there
Seriously tasty ice cream! Vegan options and lots of toppings. Id say best ice cream in the Metro hands down. Not too sweet but not bland. Friendly staff and military discounts. The line is really confusing and small but still giving 5 stars.[UPDATE] Went to get ice cream and they were sold out and didnt have anyone who could make any more because that 1 person called in. When we discussed it with the manager they just kept making excuses. Really disappointing service and planning so this is no longer a 5 star place. Went back a few weeks after talking to them and they seemed to take the recommendation to heart and are keeping up with flavors much better now.[UPDATE] Seriously, nearly 24 months after being told they’d get their stocking fixed they still are out of vegan ice cream and most toppings. This place has no business serving people as they can’t keep the most basic things in stock.
Really nothing but good experiences here. prices that wont shock you.
Ice cream was overly sweet, but the experience and staff were great. They allowed you to sample. The flow of the line is confusing. You need to go in, get the ice cream, and then pay outside. Probably would recommend a queuing system and potentially online ordering to speed it up.I think once they figure out the line system and perfect the flavors, it’ll work out smoothly. Texture was tasty and they seemed busy, perhaps have some more ice cream on hand during holiday weekends so meet the rush demand.
The guys behind the counter were friendly. The lemon flavor was decent. The blueberry cheesecake didnt taste like cheesecake, or ice cream, it tasted like yogurt :(Other reviewers raved about the waffle cones and waffle bowls so we each got one. They were not good. They were soft and chewy. Besides not being crunchy they just had a regular waffle cone flavor nothing special at all so I ended up throwing mine away.Final verdict: average ice cream
The stuff was not very friendly and I got a strawberry ice cream that came with the whole frozen strawberry that almost impossible to bite... not very pleased!
Great service. A red head girl help us out, extremely friendly, she needs a raise. Their whipped cream was legendary.
Takes forever to order and get ice cream.
Yall got creme all over my car bleh
Dont get a waffle bowl. Its not crispy fresh at all. Probably why there is no upcharge for a waffle bowl The strawberry is okay . The flavors are vegan ice cream not a lot of sweetness . The scoops are large for $3. I also liked the butter pecan that had a lot of chopped pecans. The ending of icecreams turned to ice milk. The ice cream staff guys were not friendly or engaging at all to any of the customers. They were actually stark
Cool place. It’s in between Bira Bira and Hopdoddy and if you eat at Bira Bira you can order it from your table. They also have a walk up window. The service was good and the ice cream was good. Good quality. I wasn’t blown away by it but I also had just had a large meal at Bira Bira so I need to try it again.Definitely worth trying and would recommend to others.
So good and I had an amazing experience there.
Bro that ice cream was gross, don’t get the red velvet though I was eating eggs SMH
It was good ice cream
