We stopped at 2 other lighting stores before this one. The 1st one on Reno quickly dismissed us and ignored us while we wandered around. After that we took our time machine back to the 70s and ended up at James Lighting. We didn’t stay long. We decided to go to Hunzicker Lighting Gallery which was a little bit of a drive but well worth it. They were fairly busy on a Saturday afternoon but we were quickly greeted by Chet Wahling. He was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They have a great selection and pricing. Hunzicker Lighting Gallery won our business.

So Great, didnt feel rushed at all. Cristina took her time with us and had lots of patience with all of our questions. Not only was she super sweet but she was very knowledgeable. This is an extra star because nowadays people dont know what their talking about. This place has a lot of great options for your lighting.

Hunzicker is old, qualty, established electrical supply company. There lighting gallery was awesome. Many one of a kind hanging fixtures, some looked hand made, some factory, wall fixtures, out side lighting solution, chandeliers and a selection of crystal drops to go with it. Friendly staff to assist in making your decision. Easy to get to right off 122nd and Broadway Extension.

Ask for Gary, the nicest guy youll ever meet and he works hard to make customers happ. Gary has a great wealth of knowledge sizing fixtures for use in each specific room.

I have been to Hunzickers at least 10 times while building my home. I have gotten the worst service here compared to any of the other businesses I worked with. The only person who is not snobby and is nice to work with is Gary. All the others act like they are doing you a favor by helping you. Their selection is really good which is the only reason I kept going back. Do yourself a favor and buy the fixtures online or go to lifestyles. Everything Hunzickers has can be found online. You will pay less and have a less frustrating experience.

I have a $1200 dollar budget here. I have research through hundreds of pages, and submitted my list. They can’t fulfill that budget. Furthermore all of the budget friendly fixtures are not available or have instantly increased in price. I cannot afford $1200 a room. Fired the builder, and finished my home.

Customer service oriented responsive staff

We custom built our house and our builder recommended using Hunzicker Lighting. Had nothing but great experiences with them. The design part was very easy and the lady had some nice recommendations for us. Installation and service after has been very good as well. Had an issue with one of our lights after a year, and they honored our warranty and took care of it.

Amazing selection; practically everything I’ve seen online and more. Prices are the same as online lighting stores and home improvement stores. Sales folks are very helpful and not pushy at all!

We just built a home with Authentic Custom Homes and this is where they sent us to pick out the lights for our new home. Christina Nguyen was our sales lady and was completely prepared for us when we arrived for our appointment. She had all the complete paperwork with our floor plan and electrical diagram as well as the information on our budget. Christina was very patient with us and new exactly what fixtures we would love to go with our style as well as keeping us on track with our budget. Before going in I had my heart set on these mini pedants for our kitchen island. I had a picture but no one could figure out where they came from or the brand. I had these picked out before we picked out our floor plan!! I showed Christina and she searched and searched for us and finally found them.The showroom itself is pretty impressive. They have all sorts of different lights and the layout was really easy to follow. Hunzicker also sent out someone to install the fixtures for our builder, and the installer was very clean and the fixtures look great! My only suggestion for the installer is that when a customer purchases 2 IR controlled fans that are placed in rooms close to each other, the installer should program the fans in the ceiling/base with their correct controls. The living room fan would turn on when the bedroom fan would be turned on and vice versa. It was not too difficult to figure out but I can see where it can be an issue for those that are not electrically inclined.

The outdoor lighting options are amazing. Love the cafe light options they have! Not only lighting though they have lighting controls, I can schedule my lights to all come on at the SAME TIME! AWESOME sales staff.

Love coming to this place such an awesome showroom with great home tech and lighting on display.

I went once with a builder and was treated totally different when I went in as a home owner. The desk clerk was snooty and didnt seem to care about my business at all. I love the showroom but being treated as unimportant is not worth it.

I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted. Went to purchase the fixtures knowing that I must have them in 3 weeks. Company would not commit to anything In regards to delivery and was VERY rude to me basically saying that it wasnt their problem. I feel like I have been punched in the gut after this interaction and hope to never enter this store again. Beautiful fixtures but arrogant and rude staff. Stay away.

Bought two ceiling fans and two grate light fixtures. One ceiling fan broke with in a year and one garage light broke within 6 months.
