Very nice and helpful people here! I brought in a lamp from India and they took me step by step through my available options on how to rebuild it for US light bulbs and were very knowledgeable.

I had a recent experience with Stricklers, my first, when I took in two antique table lamps, on a genuine Tiffany, in for rewiring of frayed cords. I objected when a male employee called and suggested I replace the sockets on the Tiffany, but I declined wishing to keep all parts original to preserve the value, similar to restoring a collector car and using all original parts. Bottom line: they followed my instructions and did a nice job rewiring both with silk cords with cord switches so that the old switches and pull- chains could be spared the wear and tear. All told for the good job, we got er done for a reasonable price, and Im well-pleased to have them home and lighted again. Now Im checking out my other antique lamps in case others need work. Glad to have found a source for this kind of craftsmanship. Thank you Lillian Stricklers!

We just built a beautiful home on 10 acres of land outside of OKC and moved in about a year ago. I had an antique double desk lamp that I had inherited from my grandmothers home. One side of it wasnt working properly and I thought it might need re-wiring so I called this company to ask if they did such repairs. They assured me that they did and I took it in. After entering the store, I was standing there for at least 3-4 mins watching 2 ladies wonder around. Finally, I was met with a very cold reception and reminded them that I had called. They again assured me that they could fix it and I left it there. After a time, I went to pick it up and bought some light bulbs as well. When I got home and plugged it in, it still wasnt working properly so I returned it. When I picked up the second time, the repair guy came out and I asked where the original keys were. He informed me that they couldnt be used on the newer sockets but I could have the old ones if I wanted them. I also asked why one of the keys was longer than the other and he nearly flipped a gourd to tell me that he fixed it and it WAS working. Well. Its a year later and every day, I turn on that lamp. Every day, I notice that the longer key is loose and everyday I have to take the shade and hurricane out to tighten the bulb in the socket because its loose. If you touch the table that the lamp sits on, the light goes out. These people are unfriendly for one thing and not good at repairs for another. I would not go there to spend your money on a repair or otherwise. I am currently looking for a place to take this durned lamp and actually get it fixed. The reason I waited so long to give this review is because 10 acres and a new home are a lot to deal with right away and Im just getting to it.
