I go here often for our chickens and our land. They usually have almost everything I need, and I like that its not one of the big box stores. The people are always friendly and its close to our house.

This place is terrible, and Greg the manager is about as rude as it gets. We Purchased over $100 in chicks from them. I took them home and placed them in the Broder with about 20 other chicks that I purchased from other stores or hatched myself. Every single one of their chicks died and only their chicks. I called them and simply asked if they would replace them or even half of them. Greg said you’re out of luck and we don’t replace any chicks and we haven’t had any issues. I know Greg is lying Because my neighbor up the road from me also purchased several chicks from them that died and they called them as well. Again I told him I wasn’t looking for a full refund but just something to make it right since I’ve literally just lost $100 in birds in one week from their store. Greg again rudely assured me they were going to do absolutely nothing to try and make the situation right. Thanks for the wonderful customer service

Im healthy and Im not wearing a mask....and its not for others if theyre sick THEY need to stay home.. and since youre drinking the kool-aid I decided to take my business to tractor supply. They match prices and dont require a mask. Your loss!

I had to wait for 20 minutes on hold to speak to a manager, then I had to call them back. I had bought an utility heater for my back porch so when my animals came in they would be warm in the winter. The utility heater stopped working. Lumber 2 said I would have to call the manufacturer of the heater. Lumber 2 does not replace them. The manager sounded young which maybe why he could not understand why my point of view that they should be able to replace it. Especially since it is a seasonal item and waiting till the next season to find out (what is technically still a new item) does not work and should have been able to replaced it regardless. Now I must leave my back door open to potential bad guys so my animals will be warm. I do not have a lot of money and cannot afford to run out and buy another heater. I am an older woman by herself who just wants to take care of her animals and I understand that you are NOT number 1 at Lumber 2 and treated me like number 2 at Lumber 2. I thought I had found a great place to buy what I needed for my animals. I had been shopping there for a few years now but will be shopping elsewhere from now on and so will my family and friends. Your manager needs a course in being patient and understanding and learning not to interrupt and not to try to speak over people while they are speaking. That when you become a manager that you have obligations to your customers such as listening and allowing your customer to end the call.

Worst customer service ever!!! Wouldn’t honor a return after being told it was returnable when I bought the item! No apologies nor attempt to make the deal right!!! I will never ever spend a penny in this store after going out of my way to give them business instead of other chain stores!!!Keep treating customers like you did me and you’ll be closed permanently soon enough!! Pathetic business practices!!!

This place is amazing. Very helpful staff and they even help load straw bales. Got some healthy day old chicks from here and they answered questions for me about extra things I might need like an electrolyte solution for their water. I noticed they also have things for dogs and horses and gardening and yard work etc. Highly recommended.

Good place to find a lot of items without the nightmare of a store thats so big it needs a zip code. Staff is great l. If you dont like country folk, then go elsewhere. If you want honest good hearted people, then go to Lumber 2.

Just tried to buy 1000 dollars worth of lumber the management was rude and very unprofessional never going back

These people are always friendly to us, help me get any heavy items to our car, have an option to buy items online and then pick them up from the store, and have everything a beginning farmer or homesteader could possibly need. They even have chicks around Easter! My young daughter loves this store and calls it the chicken store. We can only find our favorite rabbit food here and they even sell in bulk. They also have great supplies for livestock, pets, fencing, and canning food. We bought all our livestock books there. They also have tons of lumber, obviously, and even have several kinds of livestock hay. We love this place and go there at least once every other week. =)

First time there, and really loved the layout of the store and the helpful staff. Chick brooder setup was excellent and clean, with healthy chicks. Very pleased with this store, will return soon!

Normally when we come here we buy a lot more lumber than we did on this day.. well it seems as though since we didnt spend as much as we normally do they were rude & refused to help load the wood as they always did in the past.. so we took the piece of wood that was loaded out & talked to the manager which was no help & rude as well.. so it was a waste of time & gas for us to drive all the to the City but I refuse to be treated with no respect. I will not be going back to lumber 2 again.. So I just want say to lumber 2 you should treat all your customers the same & talk to them with some respect. Im a business owner myself & there is no way I or any of my employees would ever treat one of my customers like you did us.. I hope you take a step back and think about how you want to be treated and start treating your customers that way... Thank you for showing my employee & I how NOT to treat our customers

It was a little expensive but being able to check out the live chicks was fun for the kids. We did have to shield them from a chick that had died in the pen. It isnt a bad bad place and you will find a bunch of stuff you could use like tools and other equipment but it is really a lumber and hometown hardware store.

My husband needed a replacement part for a weed eater. They were very helpful and had the exact part he needed. We were in and out!

This place has a great selection of feed and hay. The staff is always friendly, too. Its a nice place just to browse around sometimes.

I bought 3 baby ducks and asked if there was a guarantee that they would live. The girl checking me out said there was a 30 day guarantee. I proceeded to buy on another visit 2 chickens. Then went back several days later and bought 5 chickens which I picked out personally then an older man wanted to know if he could help me. I got the impression that he didnt want me getting the birds out so I told him what I had gotten out and he wrote it on the box. I told him that I also wanted 3 guineas and he picked out 3 and placed each in my box of chickens. I noticed one of the guineas was crouched down. I thought it was afraid as I stopped to look in the box. This is my first time to deal with birds. Got home and watched this guinea walk and it never stood up. It progressed to crawling later in the evening next day it was stomach up and dead. I called to see how I needed to prove that it was dead for a replacement. Bring in the dead bird, picture what? Well a snotty little boy told me that they didnt guarantee animals. I said but it didnt live 2 days and I was told that they were guaranteed for 30. I asked for a manager and he said that he was the manager at the time. Not sure if I was given this sick bird on purpose, but I want a replacement! I spent over $5.00 for that tiny thing! Has anyone been told of a guarantee also? I asked because Walmart guarantees their fish for 30 days or they did when I had them years ago. Im really mad that Ive spent around $200.00 there for birds and supplies just lately. They wont get anymore of my money and I hope that bird didnt have a disease that the others could catch. Time will tell. Beware of sick birds.

The merchandise is good. Customer service I say is not professional. My husband usually does all his livestock needs shopping there but an employee constantly asks him if he can speak English, if he is legal here, and how can a Mexican make money here. I dont think those are adequate questions to ask a customer. It makes us uncomfortable.

If it’s off the shelf they are fine, if you need assistance go somewhere else.

This is a nice little Basic Hardware Store, Feed, and farm equipment store. The lumber section is good if you know what you want. I think they discourage wandering around looking at the lumber.

We were placed on a waiting list for a lionhead rabbit and got a call on May 10th, 2019 that 2 came in. We picked up the last lionhead bunny at 4:00 PM same day. At 9:00 PM that same day, we found the bunny dead in its crate. We contacted them first thing the next morning at 8:00 when they opened. We were informed that there was nothing they could do. They couldnt replace the bunny nor give us a refund. I looked at the paperwork we recieved and no where on there does it state anything about the return policy or refund for animals, but for products only. They do not have a website that states anything about a return policy. They do not check to ensure with their breeders that the animals are healthy to sell. Now I have to explain to my 9 year old daughter that her pet bunny didnt make it because a business is more worried about money then customer service!

Great feed store, farm store, lumber yard, etc, etc, etc. I bought a new Stihl BG86 leaf blower which Im very happy with. They are one of the best Stihl lawn equipment dealers that Ive seen anywhere. The only reason I didnt give them a five star rating was it took several minutes to find an employee with knowledge enough to help me and answer all my questions and unlock the equipment so I could pick up the blowers I was comparing. Once I decided on the blower I wanted, then the sales associate put gas in it and fired it up for a test run. Then he was very accommodating and explained my warranty and asked me if I had any more questions. Ill definitely return for future purchases at Lumber Two and definitely recommend it to friends.

Would not recommend this place to anyone! Needed help finding a certain Stihl part and the manager/cashier was so rude! He just kept saying “ok” and looking at us like we were stupid! Well needless to say we left about $30 worth of stuff on the counter and walked out. Oh and as we were walking out he was yelling at us. No thanks...Home Depot it is from now on where everyone there is friendly and actually wants to help you!

In a bind I had to buy from these guys....never again. Prices were Sky high for simple barn siding.

I was injured with one broken ankle and the other sprained,but I still needed live stock feed. So I was waiting at the counter sweating with pain and the girl behind the counter. Was busy on a personal cell phone call with her girlfriend so I limped out after waiting for 16 min. When I got to my truck I called to speak with the manager, she asked why and I explained what had just happened, and she would not put me through to him and hung up on me... so I called the one in nacoma park spoke to the manger there all he could tell me is that store gets lots of complaints. Nothing he could do aboutit it. What a way to do businesses that place is a joke ...
