Our experience with Oakwood Homes was honestly great! We worked with Carlos and after looking for three years at different places we were happy that he was there that day! He made the entire process super quick and easy and was very informative! We went up there a couple times to measure and take pictures of our new home during the process and it meant a lot that we were always welcomed with open arms! If you are considering purchasing a manufactured home I strongly suggest going to Carlos at Oakwood Homes he will take great care if you!

Edit in response to the owners reply:Constant contact now that is an outright lie.At this point Im still havent heard from factory repair and feel like Im probably not going to.End edit.I wish I had known that the repairs I was promised at purchase still wouldnt be done over three months after we moved in (6 months after purchase) Now we are being told that our repairs are too extensive to be handled by the dealership and now we have to continue to wait for the factory rep to do the repairs now. We have gone months with faulty electrical wiring, 7 can lites not working, pex shavings clogging up valves (which ruined our washing machine.) And so many more issue.Go somewhere else, the hassle isnt worth it.

I bought a home from here and could i just say, worst costumer service from the start. i’ve lived in my home for about 6 months and everything i’ve been promised, hasn’t. a few weeks me and my son are getting comfy and ready for a bath and notice our water is nothing but red mud. i had clothes in my washer. ruined. i bought my home from them including warranty and i can’t even get a call back. one time i did get ahold of them and a lady named abby literally screamed at me. do not go here.

This is as fair and accurate review as you will ever read. This could have easily gone 5 stars. I will raise this rating as soon as promised repairs are completed.Sale and set up was fast and well done. Carlos is the man! Service after (at 2 months now) is unacceptable. Several issues, mostly minor stuff, has yet to be fixed. A window, a couple of light switches, some wall strips, and slight repair from water damage while at there lot have not been repaired yet. The mobile home is too awesome to be sitting here with issues that could be fixed easily.Extremely unhappy about the service phone conversation where they said a non working stove and a light that continually stays on in one of the bedrooms would be the electricians responsibility who wired the mobile home to the electric service. The lady I spoke to in service was extremely disrespectful and accusatory. How the heck would a stove and a faulty light switch be the fault of that person? Please stand behind your product and come service pre existing problems without deflecting responsibility please! These electric issues would have been found in the initial walkthrough inspection (electric was not on at the time) and should not be blamed on anyone but the manufacturer of the mobile home.I will be happy to change this review when service comes to fix the issues from the inspection ( which was done before electric was hooked up by the way). Cody, the GM came and did the inspection himself because the regular inspector was hurt. He has promised us an above and beyond repair experience. I trust Cody, and I trust we will get that stuff fixed but it seems that 2 months is plenty of time to have done so, service dept. We are tired of twisting the light bulb to turn lights on and off and cooking only with the microwave.Service department needs to step up their game, pull their weight, and keep Oakwood’s reputation at a respectable status.Every review on here is from service after the sale. Oakwood, you cannot afford to let service after the sale be your weak spot.

My husband and I bought this house late June 2020, they claimed our home would be ready to go and livable in at most two weeks. Now, 2 and a half months later, we have not yet been able to move into a house we bought. It’s just sitting there. They made so many promises to me and my husband regarding cosmetic repairs and time frames to get things like water, electric and air hook ups and they have broken every single one. They claimed to take care of everything but me and my husband have had to make calls and set up appointments for things ourselves. They gave us our “walk through” July 31st, and they said they would have the things our walk through guy, I think his name is Joey, pointed out to fix in 4-6 weeks and it’s been 8 weeks since that day. Every time my husband or I have a question about how much longer will it be until we will be able to live in the home, they never give us a direct answer or a different one every time. Almost like they don’t communicate amongst themselves to get their lie or story straight. It’s a flawed system having an outside contractor dealing with the repairs and utility hook up because there is no communication amongst them it seems. I emailed Kayla a long list of cosmetic repairs our house would need because it looked as though they did a hurried and careless job setting the house up and getting it together. I have emailed her asking for an update all again for not a clear answer. She claimed to have our parts they needed in order to do the first round of repairs on the first of September, and we have yet to get a call from them to set up the appointment to get them out here to get started. If they have the parts, why would they wait so long to do what just needs to be done? I hope we will be able to move in before the end of the year, but at this rate, I doubt it. I would not waste your time money or sanity going to this establishment. If you are looking into buying a manufactured home, save yourself some sleepless nights and go somewhere else, anywhere else really. We love our house but if we could go back in time, we would have gotten a similar one at another seller. I promise you, it’s not worth it. I’m sorry this is so long, but if I could save one person from such a stressful experience, I think it’s worth It.

We bought our house June 2019 and was given an 1 year warranty. We were promised a walk through for corrections the week after we moved in. We were not contacted until the end of August. My husband met with Judy on September 9, 2019 at the house for the walk through. We felt confident that we were going to get taken care of because of how thorough she was with pictures and writing everything down that needed fixed or touched up. Thats when all hell broke loose. I took off work so the floor guys could replace the vinyl flooring in the living room, the master closet and my sons bathroom. The guys didnt show up until after 10am then left before 3pm, job half done. The floor also has a wave in it, and when I brought it to their attention I was told itll smooth out. Umm, no... it wont. They brought all their supplies (wood, siding, trim work, etc.) to fix almost everything on Judys list and left it in the middle of my hallway. They promised theyd be back the next day to finish, my husband took off that day. They never showed. My husband and myself had to move everything ourselves into our guest room a week after they didnt show back up to finish. I have a 5 year old and he was falling and tripping on everything... Next was the painters, they were great- luckily under a different company. Its now almost our first Thanksgiving in my new house and my house is torn apart and half done. I tried to contact Judy and never received a response. Now, its our first Christmas and my house is not done. I have emailed Judy every month since December and nothing. My home warranty is up in 5 days and my house is still not done.

The worst experience ever!!! My daughter and son in law purchased a brand new Oakwood double wide house.. it was moved onto our property 2 months ago the extensive amount of damage to the house was unbelievable!! Chips out of the trim, hanging pieces of siding besides the siding being warped A total redo! On top of every step to get it livable Has been a nightmare You can’t get an honest answer out of anyone on who’s does what and who is responsible for what, they where told it was ready to move in and what do you know the plumbing was not attached under the house so when the water was turned on it ruined some of the insulation. I’m wouldn’t recommend this place at all! I believe in selling a good product something to be proud of didn’t happen here!!

Husband and I went in picked out a home. Did the paperwork. Found out we was approved for our loan. But when we left there our salesperson Abbie never even called. We found out by getting a letter in the mail. We are sure she received a call or something telling her we was approved. Been almost a month now and still havent heard from her. We would never never recommend Oakwood Homes. But we did find a much better deal just down the road.

Practically destroyed my house moving it here 8 months later its still not finished or even ready to move into A bunch of liars that will tell you anything To make a sale and you will not get what you paid for piss poor service That looks more like a poorly remodeled home than a new one They will leave a big a** mass behind and will not clean anything when theyre done if they ever even get done I personally highly do Recommend and I personally know 3 others That have purchased homes as well that feel the same way and will also been given a nice review And I will be giving reviews with the Better Business Bureau and the department of motor vehicles

I will never buy another house from this company if my life depended on it. Most people typically who have a bad experience with a company are completely over the situation, and decide not to leave a review. That was what I was going to do, but I decided against this. I do not want another customer to have to go through what my husband and I have been through with this company. The only good experience that we have had through that company has been with one sales person and one maintenance man. The rest (including management)act as if they do not care About anything besides making another sale. We got off on the wrong foot to begin with on just buying our house, and then after we actually received our house it only got worse from there. If you do ever buy a home from them; do not expect them to come back and properly fix things like they are supposed to be fixed. They say they will call back, but they never do. No one knows what is going on. We get different stories from different people. It is poorly managed. Our house got destroyed by one of the tornadoes this year, and we were really looking to this company to help us, but they don’t care about anything besides making anotthee sale. My family has bought a home from both solitaire and Clayton, and I will have to say they had a much better experience than we did! We should have gone with either of those two besides Oakwood!

If I could, I would give them a 0. They lie about fixing things. They will try to fix minor things but not the big things. A guy name john will lie to your face. The roof was messed up and he told me to my face that they fixed the roof before I moved in it. Well, there are loose shingles and they left nails on the roof. There is also so much damage to the house. I even had a friend come over and grabbed a clear glass and put water in it. Well we put it on the floor and you can see the water in the cup was leaning more to one side. There is alot of soft spots in the floors and a hole in the ceiling. Why am I paying 150,000 for this home and its not even done right. There is so much damage where I regret buying this house. Your better off buying one built or already built on land. There was already a couple of water leaks from the roof and they just painted over the water spots. Wow just wow. This is how they treat their customers and I would be ashamed.

They went above and beyond to help my mother find a mobile home that she could afford and to get her approved. There were some failure to communicate issues towards the end, but that was eventually easily resolved. Id give 10/10 rating pre-delivery, and 8/10 post delivery.

Our seller Carlos lied and changed the price on our home several times., then sold our home after we paid the 500 dollars to hold it, to a cash buyer. That delayed our home purchase process by almost 2 months. We then gave a down payment of 8000 that went torwards fees. We are now talking to an attorney about this case... Beware
