Quite possibly the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. We got the Bacon & Egg Croissant Sandwich and a Cinnamon Roll for later. Both were as good as they looked if not better. The staff was super friendly and the shop had a cool vibe to it. We will be back for sure!

I live on the road.We stopped by for coffee and a pastry. You absolutely must stop here for your caffeine and pastry fix. Breakfast sandwiches, delightful treats.The owner is an award-winning chef and instructor. The staff that we interacted with were beyond friendly and helpful. They are Big enthusiasts of the coffee, and the food that they have available.I have been in hundreds of coffee shops, and this ranks near the very top. Trust me. You must stop here.

The best cafes are warm, cozy, and easy going. This cafe is cold with hard seating and feels uptight. The coffee and breakfast sandwiches were fine, even good, but this is not a comfortable place to read or study. I’d love to see more soft chairs and couches, maybe some tables for the couches? I was told today that I couldn’t use a table if I wanted to sit on the couch, I could keep my food and drink on my lap. Also, there’s a bit of a draft that makes it cold and hard to focus. There are better places to spend time.

Today was my first time at this cozy coffee shop in downtown Olathe. The smell of fresh baked items greets you as you step foot into the clean and inviting shop. I had a tasty cappuccino and a bacon and egg breakfast croissant, which was top notch! I found out the owner was a pastry chef at the Ritz Carlton and at one point made pastries for the president of the United States, who loved it so much he had him make more the next day! I took home 2 boxes of pastries upon leaving and had a wonderful conversation with the barista, who gave me some of the background information on the shop. I could see them grow and expand as they have a winning formula! I highly recommend this place!

My husband and I went in for the first time today. We got the highly recommended breakfast sandwich, a cinnamon roll, the quiche, and two iced coffees. Everything was AMAZING!! The cinnamon roll is the best I have ever had. Were so excited that we found our new favorite breakfast spot in Olathe. Cant wait to go back!

Park St. Pastry has the absolute best breakfast sandwich in the Kansas City area. Fluffy scrambled eggs, American cheese, with bacon and ham on a scratch made flaky buttery croissant. Just tell em you want the Brian. Whos Brian? Hes a Saturday morning regular who hollered at me one day from across the bakery, you have to try it with bacon AND ham! He was right!

The aromas as soon as you step foot through the door, so heavenly! Assorted num-nums in the cases to tempt your sweet or savory tooth. Coffee was delicious and so was the chia tea latte. Get a sandwich and sit for a while or enjoy a pastry to-go.This will be a regular stop for us. Good enough to travel to from miles around. What a gem!

Great local place; my Americano with room for cream was perfect and the fresh pastries were awesome. I recommend the scones or the cookies. I didnt try the cinnamon rolls yet but maybe next time!

Yummy food! I came about 1:20 pm I believe they close at 2:00 pm so the bakery items were almost gone. I enjoyed a chicken salad on a croissant and a cup of clam chowder.

We got a lemon cake for my birthday but it was very dry and very lemony. We were told the cake baker was not there so someone else had to make the cake.

Wow! Im told they have other cakes to do, so I will have to wait to pick up my cake. I ordered this cake 6 weeks ago! You are charging me $85 plus tax for a cake that serves 8 to 10 people. I would think customer service would be better. I found another bakery that guaranteed the cake will be ready for pick up by 9 am. They also have a five star, and it is half the price. So I will ease your stress level by eliminating one less cake you have to make. ORDER CANCELLED!Response to the comment below. It would of been nice to give me that information instead of, I have other cakes to do. I was not given a exact time. AROUND 11 could mean 12 or who knows.

Really unfortunate the guy running the place regularly chooses not to wear a mask as COVID is at it highest levels (Jan 2021). Otherwise, they do some really good stuff. They can be inconsistent at time, but I like the food and was a pretty regular customer. However, I wont be back for a while since they dont seem respect their customers enough to protect everyone by wearing masks.

I have been in 3 days in a row now and have absolutely loved it every time! The staff is incredible and the pastries are literally unlike anything I have ever had. My personal favorite (right now) is the cream horn. The pastry is flakey and buttery, the cream inside is soooo light and decadent, and the course sugar topping baked on takes it over the top. The atmosphere is friendly and feels like extended family. Best bakery in KC, truly a gem.

Make sure you let then know what type of cheese you want on your egg sandwich. Nasty american cheese is not good!Other than that, very good!

I was worried about the COVID things I’ve read but my experience was great. Every employee had them on. The customers not so much, especially their young children running around. That’s why it’s not a 5-Star for me.But back to the food. The smell of a fresh bakery hits your nose as soon as you walk in. Then your eyes are wide open soaking in all the options. Then the owner said “waddya have”. Told him I wanted carrot cake and he said he didn’t have any so a touch of sadness but only for a moment. So I chose the large Cinnamon rolls which were covered in all the creamy frosting you could desire. Then I grabbed some of the Jalapeño/Bacon croissant samples which amazing! Given them a try. I’ll be back!

Latte is good, not great.Maybe lacking in flavor i think. But then the ham and egg sandwich comes out. Looks amazing! Enough to make me pull out my phone and write a 5* review.

Prana is as good as it gets! For around $8 you get a shot of aloe, an iced tea, AND a huge smoothie/shake. The bang for your buck is incredible, and the product is very good! Havent had a flavor I didnt like, yet. We like to get these vitamin packed shakes for my 3yo that doesnt eat well and she gulps them down.

Great food and even better service. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place for their cakes and pastries alone but the rest of the menu is just as good.

The ham and cheese quiche was awesome, light, moist. Hit the spot. My husband had the biscuits and gravy. He loves to go there. He said they are the best biscuits and gravy he has ever had. On the way out the door we got 1 plain croissant for later, those are the best weve ever had. In the Showcase they had chocolate filled croissants. I got one. We got 2 shortbread cookies for my husband. He LOVES LOVES them. Our Compliments to the chef. The atmosphere this morning was so family. Thank you. Park Street Pastry....

They should charge just to walk in and smell the amazing pastries! The food and the people are amazing.

This place is incredibly cute, but the service doesn’t match the adorable style. Male employee, about 50s I believe, is incredibly rude. It was poor customer service quality. It was a slow day about two hours after they had opened and it seemed as though he was trying to usher me out quickly. The other employees didn’t make eye contact and didn’t even bother to try to start conversations with the customers, but only with one another. Their pastries were not as good as I had hoped them to be. They were stale, like they sat out over night. No body seemed friendly in the least. I understand it was the morning, but customer service is the key to getting customers back. Unfortunately to say, I do not believe I will be back anytime soon.

So yummy!!! Try the cinnamon rolls, they are extra big but so moist and covered in cinnamon goodness and glazed icing! Just the perfect place for a little treat or a full meal. They also make lunch daily so ask what they have that day! I do wish they had more coffee options!!! Like different flavors of syrup and coffee. That would just make this place a little more perfect!!!

The pastries are delicious but so are the soups and sandwiches. So many amazing things to try. We go once a week at least.Carrot cake, cinnamon rolls, fruit topped pastries, macaroons etc.And they have a free standing kombucha dispenser w/ cold brew too.

We went here as a family and will definitely be returning. From the minute you walk in, youll be glad you came. The whole shop smells exactly as a bakery should...sweet and buttery mixed with a little coffee. The people are absolutely charming and genuinely friendly. And then there are the pastries...oh, the pastries. You cant make a wrong choice. Personally, I love the French macaroons but we have liked the chocolate croissants, the cinnamon rolls, and a strawberry and creme filled something. 😊They have good (fresh) coffee served and breakfast sandwiches also - which we have yet to try. We cant wait to return!

I use him exclusively for my sales meetings. My team always requests me to bring something new and exciting from a pastry standpoint. My staff always look forward to what Park Street Pastry is going to deliver. His pastries are gone within minutes and when my staff eats them, they are very careful to make sure not a single crumb goes uneaten.Doug is a man full of integrity and perfection and it shows in his pastries. I would only expect this from someone who has been a bakery professor at Johnson County Community College for many, many years. He is a by the book kind of guy as he taught it at JCCC. Ive even met some of his students and they have had nothing but incredible things to say about him. Many of them have great careers in the culinary industry.Stop by Park Street Pastry and enjoy one of the best pastry dishes in Kansas City.

Im glad to see this place is withstanding the pressures of the pandemic better than some other small business that have had to close. There has yet to be something Ive tried that didnt meet expectations.

We have been in several times and have never been disappointed! The food is phenomenal. The staff is awesome! The owner is a very kind man and I love that he helps the community through charitable contributions!

I am so grateful and impressed with the amazing, customized cookies Park Street Pastry made for our engagement party. Not only were they gorgeous, but super yummy. My coworkers and I love this place. We try to go as often as possible - which is almost weekly - the service is fantastic and the food even better! Prices are reasonable as well. The perfect place for breakfast, lunch, coffee, or just a sweet snack!

This is an Olathe coffee shop with the best pastries in Johnson County. It has two locations, the original, within sight of the old courthouse, and East, in the just opened Olathe Public Library next to Kohl’s on Brougham. Both locations are great meeting places.The only downside is the opening times. 7:00 am downtown and the Library hours on Brougham.Half of my morning meetings start at 6:00 or 6:30am, so as amazing as the pastries and coffee are, I can’t use them for meetings where people have normal hours to be at work. No evening meetings downtown, and no late study sessions either place.

Wonderful experience having brunch there today! We found it to be inviting, charming and very welcoming place to sit and have coffee and eat together. The food was simply divine. I like everything about this place and intend to make it my Saturday morning walking destination from now on :-)

This is a nice little spot in Old Olathe. They have great food and coffee, and the staff/owner are very nice. Also, they help the homeless and give to charity every month, you just dont see that enough nowadays.

This place has been so worth the wait! I took a box home with a cinnamon roll, 2 different filled crossants, scone, and a brownie. My fiance and I were going to share one item and the next thing you know, we ate the whole box! It was hard to pick a favorite! You can definitely sense the love and passion in your work with each bite! What an tremendous gift you have and thank you for sharing it with the world!

845 a.m. on a Sat. Drove 20 minutes for pastries. Not a single pastry. The word BAKERY is emblazoned on the windows. The website lists bakwd goods that are for sale. But no baked goods are offered. They were polite and offered a breakfast sandwhich. Not sure how that relates to baked goods, however. Apparently they are only doing special orders for baked goods. Website should reflect what is actually offered in store to customers, and state if baked goods are now special order only.

Park Street Pastry has absolutely wowd me with the phenomenal selection and incredible desserts! Everything I have tried so far has been an absolute hit and the people couldnt be more friendly. I have seen some of the beautiful designs for specialty items that the owner has produced and I cant wait to have an excuse to order something spectacular of my own! I absolutely recommend this to anyone and everyone with a sweet tooth or in need of a spectacular lunch!
