This is my fav thrifty store. Ive tried other locations and think this olathe location is best. The employees are generally really nice and the merchandise is always turning. I used to think the best things are found early morning but after shopping just before closing lastnight I was proven wrong. π π Found a great bedside table. $9.99??? Wow really??!!!
Best Savers in the area. They always have the cutest stuff. Staff is always really nice...but stay away cause if yall take everything then there will be nothing left for me!
Over priced for a thrift store! Bring your own bags unless you want to pay for them.
Place is clean, well stocked and employees helpful. Lost a star as changing rooms gone. How does one try clothes own to see if they fit before buying? On average out of 5 items I try on, 1 or 2 fit and go home with us. Even if return policy is loosened up, not economical to drive back and forth to have changing room at home.
FOR PROFIT STORE......Way over priced for items they get for FREE!! One pair of jeans was priced for 19.99 and they were stained up. Another pair was priced at 24.99 and it was missing buttons. Just because the jeans come from Buckle or the mall in general should be the only factor in pricing. Put back both pairs of jeans and went to the Goodwill. At least they are non-profit.
Love coming here! This is a great place to come find some different things. I love coming here and getting books. They always have a great selection at great prices! Its also nice when they have sales and send coupons. I just enjoy looking at all the different things that they have in here. A definitely recommend this store but make sure you have time to browse. Cant wait to come back soon.
What a great place to pick up materials for crafts, projects, experiments, and filling empty days (and project sheds)
I interviewed at and was offered a job here yesterday morning on the condition that I could bring in 2 forms of ID. I made it known that getting that 2nd form of ID in my hands was going to take a little doing, but that if I had a job offer on the table that I could get it. I emailed the manager at the email address on the business card that she had given me at the interview before 4pm which is when she said she would be leaving work and told her that I was getting it that evening and would bring it in the morning. I brought it over at about 10 this morning, and she told me that she had hired someone else between interviewing me and leaving work. The job offer was cancelled with no notice and without telling me to not go to the trouble of getting ahold of that 2nd form of ID. I dont know if this was a mistake from just being disorganized or just having no regard for other peoples time and trouble. Pretty bad management. That department manager is a nice person and all, but I wasnt going out of my way to make a friend. I went to the trouble because I was offered a job.
Good place to find gently used items. Their clothing is organized into separate departments as well as sizes. It makes it easier to shop. They carry housewares, small appliances, bedding, books and so much more. They keep the place pretty clean and it doesnt smell bad like some thrift stores. Also a good place to donate items too. I believe it benefits Big Brothers and Sisters. You should check them out!
I never been to a Savers . First time going to one. its amazing
I used to love going to Savers but now they have completely torn down their changing rooms. I understood them being closed for Covid but with them being torn down, the employees of the different locations I called said corporate hasnβt given any word on when theyβll be rebuilt or even if they will. It makes me sad to think this is possibly a permanent situation. Until their changing rooms are open again, I will not be shopping there again. And please for the love of all that is good! Savers, put up some signs on your front doors about this. I walked up with a cart full of clothes & then was told that they were torn down.
Youll get better deals on clothing at retail rebel.
The store is clean and well run. Dropping off donations is very easy. If youre looking for large furniture the selection here is limited though.
So many items to choose from. Prices are decent. Really nice store. Discounts if you bring in gently used clothes. Great place to shop. Look over items before buying. Some clothes have holes and missing buttons. They have some furniture and knick knacks.
Place is so gross and WAY overpriced. They must make a fortune. I went to buy costume for my sons concert and wanted to purchase several items for him to try at home. Their dressing rooms are closed. They wont let you return and get your $back or get a credit. Only exchange??? How? Everything is different. Next time goodwill.
Found good items at great prices. Helpful staff.
Great resale store. Huge section with amazing prices
Shopping at Savers in Olathe, is usually a pleasant experience. They normally have a very good selection of used clothing and furniture. Today, I was able to purchase the clothing I needed. The store is kept clean and the employees are pleasant. I believe I get a good value for my dollar. And the money I spend, goes to charity. This is one of my main reasons for shopping there.
Nice place to shop for gently used items. (this includes clothing, kitchen ware house whole furnishings etc.
An enjoyable stop. Found few items for the home and somethings to rejuvenate the wardrobe.
Fresh products good prices on coach purses. Team mbers putting out new stuff polite
Savers was excellent today. One item I chose had no price tag on it and the manager graciously priced it for me. The workers here are very kind and helpful. I enjoy shopping here because there is always something I can find a a reasonable price such as nice clothes, artwork, and dishes. It is a very nice store.
Shopping here is fun. Itβs like most thrift stores you always roll the dice when you go. There could be something good, or not. Still always fun to go and see what you may find at decent prices. Sometimes they have half off clothes days.
It was just ok today. Too many shoppers, which is a good thing for them.
It is absolutely ridiculous that the fitting rooms have been 100% removed from the stores and the prices are crazy for used goods.
They price stuff as new. Even dollar tree items geared for $2 whats that about?
They have best everything you need. Really amazing 2nd hand store!
Great place with friendly people and good prices always find treasures here.
Amazing. The staff there is incredible.
Top notch 2nd hand store. Sizes easy to find. Too pricey with name brand merch
This place has an awesome selection and inventory. Fair prices as well.
I too was very disappointed to see the changing rooms were torn down. Likely wonβt return because of that.
Its ok. Miss Goodwill. Prices were better. Some things priced like new. No savings in that!
I have been shopping here for years! Clean, organized, and nice staff. I occasionally find an item that is overpriced but for the most part...great prices (esp with the 20% coupon you receive when you donate items). Places like this are good for the community and good for the earth. β»οΈ
Staff was extremely friendly. Prices were much lower than the only other Savers Ive ever been to, the store was clean and the staff were constantly bringing in donations from a line of cars dropping them off. I rarely give 5 stars but this store definitely deserves it. I loved it so much Im going to apply and try to get hired on!
This place isnt as great as it used to be. There was a very strong smell that gave me an instant headache. Prices are high. Not worth the time to look thru junk.
Friendly staff, prices could be alittle more reasonable other than that love shopping there especially with coupons...
I like it the prices could be lower. But its a good place.
I was there for almost 3 hours they are the best and good prices, can find almost everything there.
This is hands down one of my favorite places. If your looking for some great quality athletic wear for a low price this is your place. You could go everyday and find something different.
Always find what Im looking for and more
Little pricey but a nice 2nd hand store
Pleasant crowd, pleasant shopping, pleasant staff.
Used to go all the time, great deals, store was clean. Went back today and wow a big disappointment. They were so high on things. They had a few things I was interested in but they had a tag priced higher than the original retail price. Who ever is pricing the clothes are smokin way to much wacky weed. Crazy
Great store, huge selection.
Way to over priced they would rather throw it away then give you a deal.
I loved the attention of the cashiers.π
Way more organized than other thrift stores, prices are easy to find, staff is professional and checkout process is much faster. The quality of merchandise also seems to be higher. Occasionally youll find items prices above retail value or at near retail value but thats really the only down side.
Thier inventory has gotten very small. Itβs not what it used to be. Plus some of the employees are rude and inconsiderate.
Five stars cause I work there!
They have a lot of decent things to sell, but I think most things are too expensive.
The items are overpriced for what it is, staff sounds like they hate their job, store isnt clean. I would not recommend coming here.
Going to be hard to go back. Not only is most of the stuff donated, ( which means free) they have high prices and you have to buy a bag for 10 cents each. I cant spend 7.50 on a Walmart t-shirt when it was donated to them. URGH!!
Good selection of different name brands. Fair pricing
Lots of amazing treasures if you are willing to take the time to look things over.
Well stocked and well organized. Sundays are soooo busy! I recommend weekday shopping. Pricing is somewhat confusing. Denim leggings were twice the price of nonfaded jeans. Go figure. Still, it feels good to shop there.
Be prepared to gamble with your money for electronics. They informed me that this location does not do exchanges for electronics if they dont work after I asked about what happens if a printer doesnt work. So if youre a gambler, have fun!
I use to be an avid shopper here but the quality has really gone down hill and prices have gone up a lot. Sadly, its really not worth it for me to go in here anymore & last time I donated they broke a really pretty picture I had brought in. The guy said We throw most of it away anyway. He was treating the stuff like garbage in front of the customers. I get they are busy but come on, I dont donate there anymore and wouldnt suggest it.
They carefully observe precautions for Covid 19. Tuesdays are Senior days with 30% off entire order for those 55+.
Excellent place if youre looking for something. Go in every day you will find what you are looking for I love this place very much its a great store good quality products that you will find I guarantee it
Clothes are arranged and organized so you can easily find sizes. Store was clean too
Have Been a Long Time Customer at this Store but Sadly No More.Price increases on items you can purchase cheaper brand new have made it impossible to shop here any longer. You cant stock items on your shelves with Original Price Tags of $5.99 and Then Put Your Own $11.99 on them and expect people to purchase.Just a Reminder Your a Thrift Store and These Items are Donated!!.. Pricing and Marketing is Outrageous!!..Staff is trying their best but its Obvious this New Pricing Policy is out of Their Hands. I wish them Good Luck and based on Whats Happening they will need all The Luck They Can Get. What a Shame!!
Can always find good bargains. Love Savers!
Kind of pricey I can never really find exactly what Im looking for but overall good store
So I bought clothing and was told that since the changing rooms were not open due to COVID that I could purchase the items and return the ones I did not need. I tried on the items I had and when I went to return them they said I could only exchange items and would NOT refund my money. Then I asked for store credit because I had already looked over everything I wanted didnβt have anything else I would exchange it for, and might want to buy stuff at a different time when new clothing had come in. They would also not give me store credit for the items they originally said I could get a refund on which I just donβt get as-well, ridiculous.
Friendly staff. Masks required. Good prices. Only negative issue was cash register clerks ran out of coin change. So felt like I was forced to pay with card.
Prices went up. The cashier was very nice.
Wonderfully organized, clean, great selection. I have found so many hidden treasures here.
As always I go in to find what I like or what I want are just to browse around friendly staff helpful always and will return again
Pretty decent selection of everything. Id stop there again if Im in the area.
Great place to find the things for a much cheaper price than at target or walmart
I love Savers....happy senior day for me!
I like the store
Nice clean store. Waited in line wayyyy too long
One of the best reuse stores in the south KC area. There are a wide variety of sizes, styles, brands. We have purchased childrens womens, teens & mens clothes, shoes, books all here. All for a fraction of the price of brand new. Check boys clothes carefully as even here, boys are rough, so unless you know how to mend/patch/etc you want to give it a good once over so you dont miss holes or frays. Overall though, we are very pleased with this store. They offer sales regularly and reward you for recycling your old/out grown things by giving you a percentage off with your donation. Passing it forward with the best!
A little pricey for a Thrift Store.
Not having much luck finding items worthy of purchase. Not to mention that the prices keep going up as the quality wanes. Its the most expensive store of its ilk. (Salvation Army, TurnStyles, and Goodwill). I think Im done with Savers. My rare expendable income is better spent elsewhere. βοΈ
Great buys for teenager who lost everything!
Love this store! They have the best employees! I go every day and shop! The experience is really great! I have found everything for my daughters wedding there!! The employees are exceptional, kind, and helpful! A big shout out to Sarah, Julie, Brittany and Austin for helping me find all my decor!!! So grateful for this store! I have been to all the stores in this area and this is by far the best! Tim the manager is wonderful, and has always been more than helpful!!! Thank u savers in Olathe, ks!!!
They would get a 5 star if more of the management team was like Betty. She has personality and class and she respects you as a person as well as a customer. Savers ask a lot from its managers and Betty delivers.
Savers is a great thrift store to find almost anything. You need lots of time to go through stuff but thatβs expected!
They are openSeem to be following safety guidelines.Employees wearing masksCleaning surfaces.Marked one way aisles.
I go to the other 2nd hand places more often, mostly because of pricing. Savers is all over the place with pricing and perhaps would do better if there could be more consistency.I believe the money raised is for a good cause, but would not spend more on a used item, than what I would spend to purchase same item that is brand new. Nor would I spend 3x more than it would cost at other 2nd hand locations. The occasional reasonably priced goods doesnt draw me in as often as it used to, and I dont donate to this location as much as I used to. I do come in occasionally in hopes of improvement. Too many different people pricing? Or just need someone with more pricing knowledge?
Organized, reasonable prices. Tuesday is discount day for Seniors and Military. Good Selection of clothing, sheets, t ou wels, household items and childrens toys, lots of books and pictures to hang. Handicap accessible, lots of free parking. Located off 95th and Nall Avenue in Overland Park, KS. Helpful Staff. BRING YOUR OWN BAG(S), or buy a paper bag for 10 cents.
This is one of the better thrift stores in the area, it is organized and I always find a hidden treasure when I visit.
This is a nice savers. There is one really nice employee there that gave use a discount. And overall in the store they have there prices reasonable.
Nice deals at this suburban thrift store. many deals to be had. Usually has good selection of used furniture that is very good condition. Go there if youve never been, youll find something to buy!
Hardest working employees at any thrift store are here! Store is always clean. Only complaint is with electronics- priced to reflect missing items. Say Ive cream maker for $5, Im supposed to know that it is priced low and Ill need a $30 bowl to go with it. Odd system. Not the cheapest place but the bundles on the wall have some really cool/ good deals. Get on the mailing list to find when huge sales are going on. Expect long lines to check out thru no fault of cashiers- my favorite thrift store.
I had absolutely awful customer experience at Savers. I asked what the return policy was when I checked out, and I was told it was 7 days with tags and receipt. When I came back 3 days later to return two items, I was told it was an EXCHANGE policy only. Seeing how I was told incorrectly by one of their employees, I asked to see a store manager to see if this could be amended...to no avail. It wasnt my fault that I was told return and not exchange, and it wasnt the managers fault either; it was the original employees fault. I just am very disappointed that the manager did nothing to right the wrong. They will no longer be receiving my business. I have been noticing a trend of items being overpriced anyway so its no great loss in my opinion, other than the $25 I forfeited to them because of this VERY poor customer service incident.
Selection was fine. Two younger cashiers were pretty rude. I collect toys and one of the girl that was checking me out said β these are so creepyβ and then proceeded to complain to her other cashier about the customer ahead of me earlier. The customer was a mom with a crying kid and the girls were saying how they would have handled situation in a really rude tone. Me and all the customers in line could hear their conversation about it. After she didnβt make eye contact with me. If you donβt have anything good to say then donβt say it, especially if you are doing sales.
I was charged an amount I did not need to pay my total was 25.00 and the lady rang it up for 189 something and the store manager refused to correct this situation if I had had more money in my account I would not have noticed till later and this woman just committed fraud I also believe sheβs in a upper management position this is never okay especially for most their clients who are lower income they took everything I had on my card, glad I didnβt have enough money for the outrages total she tried to get from me, I may have never even noticed! Till later and she could have been off who knows where DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!!!!!!!!
A little more expensive than other thrift stores. But if you wait till sales its not to bad just a little busy. As with any thrift store its a mess.
Although the prices here are higher than the other major thrift stores, the clothes are generally in very good condition. If you donate, you get a 20% off coupon and they have special sales from time to time where they offer 50% off clothes.
Little high. Too bad cant try on.
Large, clean, well organized store. Prices run a bit higher than salvation army and Goodwill but the quality is better as well.
Not as organized as I anticipated but all around a great store found alot of really for things for my family and I would highly recommend you check them out
As always the store was very well organized and very easy to find things I look for. This store did not have one of the specific things I was looking for but it had enough things in my list again.
