I am a LOCAL GUIDE. And listen to me. This place is a scam. We have been waiting for plates for OVER A YEAR. Al;l they do is make fake promises. And they dont pick up the phone when you call.AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!! DONT BUY HERE! YOU WILL BE SORRY!I wish I could give it a zero. Its a nightmare! AVOID WHAT WE ARE GOING THROUGH!

Dont do business with them. Bought a car a year ago with cash, but they had filed it to the DMV that I had used a loan. Brought the mistake up and I was assured it would be fixed and I would get the title soon. After nearly a year of empty promises they finally gave up and told me they would not be fixing the mistake they had made and I never received the title to the car. Best part is I had paid them to handle the DMV paperwork and they couldnt even offer me a refund for those services.

This place is horrible! A loan was taken out in my name for a deal that was canceled, and I’m STILL trying to correct the problem! I don’t have the car, but have a car payment that I’m trying to get off my credit. I keep being told the paperwork showing the reversal is coming…weeks later…no paperwork!

The cars they sell is not the problem, the problem is with them getting you plates and the title!! Been back and forth with them for 9 months now and still nothing they even stoped picking up the phone on me or the bank. Dont go to them, youll regret it forsure.

If there was a place that I can mark negative stars I would. This place is a scam they dont give you your plates they never answer the phone for you. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. They have scammed my family and have been giving them the run around for month now.

I used them for my last car and they were fine. I bought 2 cars at once and they are terrible. I’ve been waiting for my plates for 4 months now. I’m also making a 4th payment on a car I traded in that they sold already because they never paid it off. They are very unprofessional. I ask where my plates are and they don’t even look to see if they came in they just tell you they aren’t there yet. And if you want to talk to the owner forget about it. The owner doesn’t talk to the customers. They tell you what you want to hear and that’s it. I contacted the BBB and now the consumer affairs. If this isn’t resolved soon I’m going to be getting a lawyer since they don’t even respond to these agencies. Stay away from this place especially if your trading in a car.

I bought a $14000 car from here, and bought a warranty recommended by Jab. 1 day after I bought it, the car started to break down. The mechanic couldnt find the issue. 20 days after I bought it the engine died. The warranty I paid an extra $2000 for wouldnt pay for the repairs. Now Im stuck making finance payments for the next 5 years for a car I dont have anymore. This is a 1 star review because I was sold a lemon and Jab told me you test drive it before you bought it, no refunds, no exchanges.

Disappointing dealership. Today is Saturday and they opened at 10 instead of 9. Online they have all these cars listed but the dealership is empty. If you’re coming from far, don’t. If you call and they say they have the car, don’t. I called the day before to see if they had one of the 3 cars that I was interested in and they said it’s sold and that it takes a day or two after the sale to take the car off the website. Unless someone came and wiped these guys out in a day, yea right. Looks like a failing business. In the other hand if you want your car tinted there’s a business in the back that seem to be doing a good job and they are really nice. Too bad you can’t buy a car from this dealership to get tints 😂. Come in for yourself with LOW expectations.

I have recently purchased a Nissan Rogue through Anna. I will use her for future purchases. We don’t feel pressured or stressed out negotiating with her. She is very personable and knowledgeable. She gave us a fair price. She explained everything about the car’s features and answered all our questions completely. She is an excellent salesperson. and an asset to Jab Automotive. She has earned our loyalty and it’s always a pleasure speaking to her.

This place disappointed me to the max. Online I found a nice used car for a great deal, coming from far away. I decided to look at the car since i was set on it. However, when I walked into the place, it was very unorganized and empty. I spoke to someone and they told me that the car was sold. I was very upset because I came from very far away and did not have time to waste. If the car was sold, they should have took it off online the second someone made the purchase. I also spoke to 3 different representatives at the dealer ship online and they all told me it was in stock.

Jab auto has been a great help since before they were jab! First of all the staff is great everyone is so knowledgeable in everything they do. The girl there Anna has helped our family numerous times whenever we run into any car troubles she makes sure the work that needs to be done gets done fast and efficiently by communicating with all other employees which is fantastic. I would recommend this place to anybody looking to get a car and I know I’ll be coming back!

Traded in my old car in January was told I may have to still make one payment on my trade in while waiting for the payoff to be sent. Fine I paid that payment were now in March and I’m going on paying my 3rd payment on a car I no longer own bc my payoff has not been sent. I’ve reached out via email and left multiple messages with my salesman, the finance manager, as well as the owner asking them to call me and have gotten no response so I am now paying for 2 cars. My salesman was cool but if you owe anything on your trade I do not suggest coming here unless you want to make 2 car payments.UPDATE TO HIS RESPONSE: I don’t have a single missed call voice mail or email from them I called and left ANOTHER message for Ignazio and the finance manager Brian

If I could give this place 0 stars I would I put a 1500 deposit down on a vehicle that after I test drove and the dashboard lit up. We agreed before I completed the purchase that all of the warning lights would be taken care of 3 weeks and a lot of unreturned phone calls later I was informed that they were unable to fulfill this request. Now over a month after my deposit was given I was unable to purchase a car and they have yet to refund my 1500 dollars. I am beyond frustrated and will be sharing my story with anyone thinking of giving this place your business.And please note the number provided by the Dealership operator was no longer in service when I attempted to call. Please do not waste your time here!

Do not even show up to this place looking to buy a car! They ripped my wife off of $1,500. When she took the car back to get repaired, they would just make quick fixes after she paid $1,500 to assure that when the car left the lot it was in good running condition. Had to take the car to another place where they found everything wrong with it and my poor wife had to pay $500 for repairs. Tried getting in touch with the management at JAB to sort things out but they really dont care as long as they got their money!Update, they tried reaching out to my wife only to offer to extend her temporary plates! No word about a $500 refund or when the registration or plates will be in. My wife cannot even take her car for inspection!DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! THE WORST SERVICE EVER!

I wish I could give these thieves 0 starts. They sold me a lemon car that after 2 months of using the car the car engine died and not even the $2500 warranty that they made me buy pay for the repaired. I took the car to them and they told me to take it to Honda, not even Honda was able to figured out what happened to the car since it supposedly was a brand new car with only 25,000 miles on it. At the end since nobody took responsibility on what happened to the car I had no other choice but to give it back to the bank. Now, I’m paying monthly for the next 6 years for a car that I don’t even have and I can’t get another car under my name for the next 6 years as well. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!Not only that, they also stole more than half of my warranty money when the warranty company refund me what was left. I have been trying to contact them in regards to that and they won’t even answer!

This place is a joke. Employees come and go. The cars are junk. Dont get the warranty because they wont cover anything and if you trade the car in and cancel the warranty this thief of a dealership will not refund you the money. Me and my wife have been trying to get our refund since March and all we get is excuse after excuse. So now we are gonna have to file in the courts just to try to get our money back. So my advice would be to everyone is STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES

Response: I bought the 2017 Nissan Rogue in November 17 2000. The tires was bald and the bumper was a little off ..A week later the vehicle was having trouble. I was told I would get a loaner car and the problems would be handled. MAY 2021 the issues have not been addressIf you address the issues I will delete the post. If not the post will remain. In regards to calling you . You should call me and address the issues. To all future customers lets see if JAB AUTOMOTIVE care about there customers. My experience at this dealership has been a complete nightmare. I got a vehicle back in March and its now September and still no registration nor license plate. When i finally called the bank, they said that they never received the title or anything. When i called this dealership, they pretty much blamed me for the mishap and requested information that i had gave them 4 times with different employees that no longer work there. Now they have ran my credit without my permission to try and fix the situation but at this point i have already been in contact with the bank and lawyer because this is totally unacceptable.

I was recommended to jab automotive by a work associate after searching for months and getting denials from various car dealerships due to my bad credit. i reluctantly checked out jab auto and after thinking i would be here for hours reviewing vehicles and doing paperwork i was greeted pleasantly by Iggy who with the help of his associates Steven C. did what completely shocked me. They listened to my search dilema, took my paperwork, reviewed my information and directly told me exactly what i was qualified for. Steven showed me exactly the vehicles that i was qualified for and even though he was under the weather his personality and willingness to help in cold weather was way above more than i expected. I am pleased to say that at the end of it all i left happily with a fully loaded 2015 mercedes glk bluetec moving up from a basic 2009 jeep liberty. They made the entire process a simple and pain-free. looking at the other customers around everyone was getting the same personalized attention and the sales reps were not overwhelmed or forcing you to get into something they know you cant afford just to try and meet a quota. This dealership definitely puts their customers first and i will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family. Goooo JAB!!!

I drove from Clinton CT this mornin to see a car, I talked to Jack yesterday around 5:00 pm and we scheduled an appointment to see the car today 10:00am .It was a nice drive me and my brother went inside to all to Jack and he ask for my license how much money I do, my credit score, how much money I want to put down( I was thinking to pay cash) and after 20 minutes more of mi time plus de two and half hours of driving I asked to view the car then he went to another office and told meOh I’m sorry the car is not available is in the shop and then 😡 yea I got a little mad but I’m always cool so I told him thank you for made me lose my time and I leave the place.And the funny thing was he call me 15 minutes later ( I was on my way back to CT)Just to telling me o the car is available to see it at 3:00 pmAnyways it could be a good business but it wasn’tPlease just be sure if you want to do business with this people about bait and switchJack was respectful but he lied to my face

My Husband Richard Bopp posted a review one week ago he still doesn’t have his plates and his trade in is still not paid off after 4 months of waiting still waiting!!!!! How is this place still in business. Please stay away from this dealership and save your self from a major headache!! The owner responded to my husband asking for an email! How unprofessional is that, you would think as an owner of a company knowing we have purchased a car you would look up our information and call. Run run as fast as you can to another dealership!!!

Have had the WORST experience with this company. The service has been a nightmare. I purchased a car in February 2020 and have yet to receive my plates. Every time I call no one knows how long the process of getting the plates will be; when asked to speak with the manger he is conveniently never around; have never received a call back from the manager even though I have called and asked multiple times. I will be reporting this company to NJ MVC Business Licensing Services Bureau, BBB and anyone else I can go to because the people here don’t care at all. Would not recommend to anyone, even if they sell cheap cars.

Been waiting on my plates for 7 1/2 months. They give me the runaround everytime. Cant drive my car because i am expired since October 2020. This place is horrible. Filed a complaint with better business bureau, Nj consumer affairs and NJDMV. Stay far away. Im not the only one read reviews on Facebook and on yelp. This place is shady.

I found exactly what I was looking for on the website. When I came in to the dealership the staff was really nice. Chynice was my saleswoman. She helped me through everything. Marvin the general manager is my go to man. I had minor issues and he helped me. He made sure I left a satisfied customer. His customer service was great! I called and scheduled an appointment to buy a vehicle and the salesperson was very kind and knew a lot about the vehicle. Very respectful and knowledgeable salespeople. Would highly recommend JAB Automotive to others. They have a wide variety of inventory and very fair with the prices of there vehicles.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Purchased my car in AUGUST and have yet to receive my license plates to this day (which we paid for). We have called numerous times and they brush us off as if it is nothing, despite us being evidently angry. The people are incredibly unprofessional, seem to be very inexperienced, and very unhelpful.

Very professional and friendly business. Love that it’s family owned and run; all great people from what I experienced. The process was really smooth; we started over the phone and it was just about an hour until we were ready to leave with the car once we got to the dealership. They took care of a lot of the minor issues with the used vehicle, with no problem. Overall great dealership experience, especially for the trip we made for this vehicle. Anthony is the man! Ask for him!

DON’T trust their website! Absolutely atrocious handling of their inventory. I was interested in a vehicle that was for sale and called MULTIPLE times that day to let them know I was coming to see the specified car, including just before I left on the hour and a half trip to get to the dealership. When I got there they told me that not only was that car sold, but so were multiple other cars listed on their site. Not worth the trip and I’ll be advising others not to waste their time.

I call and don’t get any answers. Alexis is supposed to be in contact w me and keeps prolonging the plates “due to the dmv” i’ve called to talk to a manager and left my phone number and never got a call back. the better business bureau will be reaching out to y’all. go somewhere else and save ur time and money.

My son and I researched online 2016 Honda Civics for sale, and JAB Automotive in Old Bridge had listed two Honda Civics, verified as a great deal by Cargurus-we came in with our own financing, and our salesperson, Tyrell, advised us to wait for Phil, the General Manager, as JAB could offer better financing- skeptical, we waited only a few minutes for Phil, and he was able to arrange financing at a MUCH lower rate! As this was a first time experience for my son purchasing a vehicle from a dealer, Phil was very patient with him and kindly explained everything to my son-we were in and out under 2 hours. I have had car buying experiences at other dealerships that were stressful and entailed long hours, but this was the most stress free experience ever. I highly recommend JAB in Old Bridge and when I am in the market for a good used car, I plan to go back! My son happily drove his great deal home!

This place is a joke do not go here I had a appointment for 2 oclock that I made 2 days before and when I got there after driving 50 min out of my way Im told the car I was looking at is in the shop being tested for street safety. Update July 31I responded to JAB Automotive as I appreciated the owner reaching out. My email was blocked! What kind of customer service is this? So JAB sold me a warranty and now wont honor it. Time to notify the Better Business Bureau. The warranty wasnt free. Theyre charging me for service they wont render. This is illegalUpdate:Ive been trying to get a service appointment for weeks. I bought my car there a year ago and got the extended warranty which covered oil changes and basic maintenance. Dealt with Marvin who wont return or take my calls anymore. Stay away. They only want to make a sale and forget youBought a car a year ago. Today they tried to tell me they wont honor my extended warranty. I had to go there to straighten it out. Ill find out how good they are next week after my appointment...

Made an appointment first thing one morning to see a specific car that was on the website. They got back to me to pick a time later that day. I show up and find out the car isnt there. Wouldve been nice if someone reached out prior to the appointment to inform me that considering it took me an hour to travel here. That was the first red flag. Seems like a lot of other reviewers experienced something similar.After receiving the news, I figured Id take a look around and see what else was available and it was pretty clear some of the cars have been in accidents. I ended up asking to see another car and the unenthusiastic salesman came back with the keys for it. The guy didnt even try to present the car to me and basically just handed me the keys. Im in sales myself and Id never treat a potential client like that. Especially when youre buying a big purchase like a car.So back to other car, it turned out the rubber lining was hanging off from the inside of one of the doors. Not only that, but the car stunk of cigarettes. That was it for me. I cant even imagine how some of the cars on the lot are. Extremely unacceptable.I immediately left after that and took my business elsewhere to another dealer and came back with a great car. Im literally never one to leave bad reviews but I highly suggest proceeding with caution if youre planning on stopping here.

Granted we’re in the midst of a pandemic, but I doubt my experience at this lot would’ve been much better if we weren’t. I found they had a few of the specific make/model car I was shopping for in stock. One in particular caught my eye so I contacted the dealer and was able to set up an appointment to go take a look. My “test drive” was just out of the showroom and through the parking lot, and the car barely even started—the gas tank was as good as empty and it needed oil badly.The car seemed to be in good shape for the sticker price, and I was willing to forget the easily remediable need for gas/oil and negotiate for the car. We also wanted to know more about an existing warranty on the vehicle. Our salesman unfortunately had very limited knowledge regarding the manufacturer’s warranty and needed to call his finance manager (his uncle) who was not present at the dealership. He came back with $99 knocked off the sticker price but had tacked on almost $3k of extra charges including a $1600 “CPO” charge. Correct me if I’m wrong, but “Certified Pre-Owned” vehicles are used cars certified and sold by the manufacturer.He had no information on the manufacturer’s warranty—either he forgot we asked, or just failed to tell us.With the state of the car and the asking price being close to $3000 more than the sticker price I decided to pass. You’ll find a better deal on the car you’re looking for at different lot with more professional staff.

He even helped me get the best coverage for my new vehicle. My situation was not easy to say the least. But JAB auto not only took care of my car needs...but they cared enough to help me with all of the other things that I was not aware of. Very comfortable and easy experience. The car I came in to see was unfortunately sold but I am happy with the car I left with. I had a transaction that took almost 2 hours after closing to finish and they were very nice and helpful every step of the way. Included a free detail and wash, as well as extended warranty. Chris A is the man to go see.

Tarrell was super fast and responsive! As my first time buying, he was very helpful and made the entire process quick and easy. Tarrell even went out of his way to help me with insurance. Tarrell’s service truly exceeded my expectations!

SCAMMERS.Purchased a car AND RETURNED IT. First of all, they took 3 hours to get us into their financing office. When we told them we were fed up and leaving, they sat us down with their financing team not even 5 minutes later.While we were in the middle of discussing the purchase, the cops showed up because of ANOTHER customer complaint.When we finally signed all the papers & drove away, we quickly realized there was no inspection sticker!! They illegally sold us a car with no inspection!!Our contract stated that we would receive a full detail & 2 new tires. Almost 30 days later and they still haven’t fulfilled the stated acts from the legally binding contract.The sales person verbally stated we had a limited warranty under the car for 30 days but wasn’t included in the contract!STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP.

I purchased my 2017 Maxima back in August, i had some trouble in the beginning but Alexis stepped up and helped out - ultimately everything went smoothly. I couldn’t leave a review without mentioning Jack, he was not my salesman but was really awesome - great energy, attentive and helpful.

Complete scam. I had to come back and edit this rating because I can’t believe it’s been over 4 months still haven’t receive tags nor the title of the vehicle!
