Jerise (Jay) is AMAZING! She helped me get my mother setup with a new phone after a long overdue upgrade. Jay was patient, explained all of the functional changes of having a new phone, and even managed to modify my mothers account so that she got more bang for her buck. I have read dozens of reviews saying how wonderful and helpful the workers at this Verizon wireless are, in particular Jay. I understand why so many people think so - Jay comes off as very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. However I was completely scammed by them, and after nearly a year I realized that there will be no compensation, so I am writing this review to warn other customers.In January of 2020, I went in to upgrade my phone. I had an iPhone SE in perfect condition that was at least 3 years old (no cracks or dings at all). I wanted to upgrade to the XS, and Jay told me there was a deal/promotion going on for that phone, where $400 would be applied toward my monthly bill as long as I turned in my old phone to their Verizon store. So I turned in my SE and bought the XS. I put down $490.10 that day because I wanted my phone bill to stay the same as with my SE, and I calculated out with Jays help that if I put $490.10 down, with the promotion of $400 it would come out to the same monthly bill. I have included a picture of my invoice for reference.A month later I received my monthly bill, only to discover that not only was there no credit applied, but I was also signed up for Total Mobile Protection which I never asked for. I went into the store and spoke with the manager Gary, and told him everything that happened in detail. He told me that the promotion I was promised never existed, that he could cancel the Mobile Protection (although I had already payed for 2 months and was not refunded), and that he would try and resolve the problem, although he didnt think there was anything he could do.Of course then the pandemic happened and nothing was ever resolved.So in conclusion I was told about a fake promotion that never existed in order to get me to buy a phone and to give Jay my old phone for free that I easily could have sold for at least $100 at the time. I am beyond upset that I was scammed. The fact that Jay still works at this location, even after speaking with a manager, goes to show that this location condones Jays behavior. Perhaps I am at fault for not looking over the invoice more carefully, but when you are assured/promised a promotion by a friendly sales person you tend to not look over the fine print.Please everyone be careful of Jay. They seem kind and helpful but it is clear from my experience that if you are not careful you will be scammed. And if that happens, no one will help or refund you, you will be out of luck.
Yesterday, I had the most wonderful experience upgrading my phone with Jay! I never thought I would say these words, but Jay made the whole process seamless. All my questions were answered without judgement, and with a lot of patience. I look forward to coming back in 24-months when I qualify for another upgrade!

I had to call Verizon on Monday to switch phones but could not come to the store until today, we’d the 4th. Ive had four separate interactions with the staff this week and each was exceptional.Called up two days ago to ask how I can go about purchasing a phone at the store with the new COVID restrictions and spoke with Rubin. Rubin graciously explained the safety measures and answered some questions. After chatting with him briefly, I ran down to the store to select my new phone.During the interaction in the store, Rubin continued to be as helpful, knowledgeable and courteous as I could possibly expect. Ordered my phone and happily went on my way.Received a follow up call the next day to let me know that my phone was on the way. Just another display of excellent customer service.Today we picked up the phone and Jade assisted us with transferring our data, and wrapping up the purchase. Again, professional, helpful, and friendly.I have fairly high standards for customer service. Its important to feel positive about your shopping experience, especially when youre purchase is an investment. Rubin and Jade both struck me as exceptional representatives of this store and brand, providing the kind of service that creates a loyal customer for their brand and store location. At this point, I would go out of my way to shop at this location knowing that the environment is a great one to be in.

My wife and I took her elderly Mother to upgrade her phone. Jay was so wonderful with her (she is 91)! She didnt steer us to the most expensive phone because she doesnt need all the bells and whistles. Jay took the time to go through and make the fonts as large as possible and set the contrast because my mother in laws vision is not good. I was so impressed with Jay that both my wife and I will go back to her when we are ready to upgrade our phones!

Yesterday, I called the store to see if I could get a cover for my new cellphone. The person who answered the phone, hung up on me with out answering my question. I took a drive by the store and it looked dark inside. Could not see any one. There was also a key box on the front door. Was surprised to see the key box. Was wondering if Verizon is moving out of that location?

This location is the worst. They promise things and don’t deliver. Went to get the promotion of the note10 plus. Buy one get one. There is no such promotion. This is a 3rd party Verizon dealer. Not legit all a scam in some way. They work on commission. Please everyone do not go here. Always check online first. It’s taking a full week to straighten this out so far and maybe longer.
