I want to thank all of the employees at this location. I visited earlier this week and was served in a timely manor with courteous and patient employees. It hurts to hear that people complain about employees when they are the ones being impatient. Every business is understaffed and no one should be blaming the employees that DO show up. I saw multiple people in line to pick up and one by one, they were all rude to the employees assisting them. Do people not understand that different medications take different times to fill/store etc? I want to thank you all for showing up and doing the workload of 2-3 people each. Great job.
Avoid this pharmacy like covid. It will take you a bare minimum of a half hour just to pick up your prescription, no matter what time of day it is. Their staff are rude and over worked. The signs claim they are in training, but theyve been understaffed or in training for months. Currently 3rd in line as about five other cars just drove off, and only 20 minutes into the wait.Like, this is the last time. I can appreciate staffing problems, but this is not a service that is functional. Worst pharmacy in olympia.
I called in a refill yesterday that was supposed to be ready after 1pm. I went to pick it up at 10:30am via the drive-thru the following morning and was told to come back after 1pm. The medication is really time sensitive and there was no way I could wait until 1pm. I was completely blown off by the elderly lady working the window. I came inside to explain why it was time sensitive, completely in tears, and she was BEYOND RUDE to me. Tossing the medication on the counter, being extremely short with me, and lacking any professionalism. I will be switching pharmacies after this. I’ve had absolutely enough of the long waits, attitudes, etc.(I’ve already contacted Customer Care. Don’t bother with the generic Rite Aid response. FIX the problems with your pharmacy.)
I have been calling the pharmacy for over 2 hours nobody will answer the phone. I even called the main store she said she would take my name and number and have someone call, that was an 1 1/2 hours ago no call. I tried again no answer. My physician called in a prescription 3 days ago but no update on it. This is not the first time this has happened to me but if will be the last. I understand businesses are short staffed but this is just ridiculous.
I would give my experience less than a 1 star if that were an option. The order is never ready when they say it will be even when i call in several day ahead. They use the excuse that they are understaffed but yet people going in with a prescription will, walk at with theirs they same visit. The excuses have to stop. You have had enough time to figure this one out. I will be transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy. I have owned my own businesses and have worked in the customer service industry for years. This is unacceptable. This is why you only have only 1.8 stars. I would be embarrassed if I were you!!
This pharmacy gets a big fat 0They have not had medications 2 months in a row with no communication. They dont pick up the phone. They have left me for 2 weeks without a vital medication that needs to be taken daily. They have left my husband without his daily meds for 4 days.My order was placed for over 2 weeks and they still dont even have any in the store!
Constantly running into issues getting prescriptions filled on time here. I am out of a time sensitive medication and the person working the window did not know how to properly run my insurance through. Told me to come back in 4 days, have been on this medication for years and only ever run into issues at this pharmacy. Lines are always insanely long and the staff are rude.
I’ve never seen a more inefficient team in my entire life. They say short staffed, but I’ve never seen more people working in a pharmacy. The pace is so slow. People move in slow motion. Don’t they pre train pharmacy technicians? Is the computer system broken or WiFi slow? What in the world is going on at this place? It looks awful for the workers too. Someone help them fix this! Somebody call Pharmacy Rescue! I guess it will get a little easier now as I am not going to go there anymore. I have three monthly prescriptions too so you’re welcome.
Its awful, you would think it would get better but it never does. All new staff every 3 weeks or so. If you have to call, dont bother (or expect) any response. This store used to be good but it has fallen and is unlikely to get up. I sincerely wish that this store gets better than its current state.
Truly.. We are very sorry to hear this feedback. But youre not. People continue to provide feedback, and it continues to be negative. 9/10 when i try calling i have to call 10, 20 or 30 times to be placed on hold. Ive driven up to speak with someone instead and there is always a line whether its the drive through or walk up. More times than not i see 2 or 3 pharmacists plugging away and one person working the till running around. Which, occasionally you get lucky with someone thats experienced. Generally its someone that has no idea which way the sky is. Do some hiring and get someone to help your customers in person and on the phone. This by far is the worst pharmacy Ive ever used. Maybe your pharmacists can multitask and pick up a phone..
I get the pandemic has made things short staffed and busy, but it’s more than a little disorganized here. They don’t ever pick up the phone and prescriptions are always late or they said they refilled it and it’s not refilled. It’s very frustrating to stand in line for over 20 minutes thinking your medication is ready just to be told it’s not. When they do actually answer the phone, I felt like they were short with me and that I was bothering them. Will be moving to a new pharmacy.
Yesterday at noon I walked into the pharmacy and dropped off 2 prescriptions to be filled. I was informed they were busy so my meds wouldnt be ready until 5pm. I said that would be alright. I then attempted to reach them for 90 minutes after 5pm and when I finally got through was told they werent quite ready. I decided to pick them up when they opened this morning. They still werent ready. I sat in their waiting area for about 15 minutes when they called me. I voiced my displeasure when I paid. As I walked away I heard the tech who waited on me say to the person whod been waiting behind me, 18 minutes, thats all it took. What a liar! I had waited more than 21 hours and been left to suffer overnight the pain of oral surgery from the day b4.
Have used the pharmacy here for many years without any issue. Last two experiences have been nightmares. Both times, they were simple medicines. I drove to the pharmacy 3 nights in a row, stood in line behind 7-8 vehicles in the drive thru, and every night they said they hadnt filled the prescription, they were behind, and they would do it tomorrow. To be fair to the staff there, they appeared to be barely treading water with long lines inside and outside.Ive given up on this store. Chose to send some new prescriptions to the West Olympia pharmacy down the street from them. Theyre a small local, mom-and-pop style store and even though they close at 6PM they got me my prescription as quick as Ive always expected (within a few hours of the doctor sending them in).
Would recommend using a different pharmacy, even just a different rite aid location besides this particular store. Staff has never had my prescription on time. It is impossible to get a hold of them on the phone. Save yourself the headache and use a different pharmacy
This Rite Aid has went downhill over the last year and a half. The staff are either stupid, rude or both. It can take days for my medication to be filled when it use to only take a few hours and their constant excuse it that they are understaffed. A lot of places are understaffed but they take care of their customers. My doctor has been telling all her patients to switch to another pharmacy which is what I am going to do. I greatly advise everyone else to do the same. I am aware that Fred Meyers is actually getting their customers medication to them on a timely manner!
When you call you get transfered to an automated phone system that is often not working properly, so you get stuck on an endless loop without being able to leave a msg or talk to someone. Its very frustrating having to keep calling back before finally talking to a human. And when you do, you will usually get put on hold first.Today was the last straw for me-Im changing pharmacies. I called to fix a problem they created with my prescription renewals and when I finally was able to get to speak to someone, I was put on hold for 35 minutes before I hung up. When I called back I got stuck on the endless loop again. This store has wasted enough of my time, Ill drive there tonight after work to get the problem fixed--permanently. Walgreens here I come.I gave this store 1 star so I could post this, but it deserved NONE.
Every other one star rating has pretty much summed it up. I was told tonight by staff after waiting in the drive through for 53 minutes that if I wanted my medication I would have to come and physically wait in person. Only then would they prioritize filling it. This has been going on for about 4 months. I feel bad for the frontline staff as they are very visibly bearing the burden of managements gross negligence and incompetence.
This used to be such a great Pharmacy. Since I started having problems with them, Apparently everybody understands this s a problematic Pharmacy. My primary care physician Recommended finding another Pharmacy isaa thereve been hearing the same issues.
Worst Customer Service Ever… And I’ve been to the Apple Store.Who goes to get antidepressants only to get more depressed? Customers of RiteAid. Waited over two hours just told that I had to come inside to speak to the pharmacist. Exasperated, I head into the store to wait in what I told wasn’t a line, of course, you can imagine I waited in another line for 24 minutes. Finally got to get my prescription. DIDNT EVEN HAVE TO SPEAK TO THE PHARMACIST. I get that they’re training new people but this is ridiculous. Please get new staff this is unacceptable. BOYCOTT RITEAID ON COOPER POINT.
This is the worst pharmacy in Thurston County, they lie to their elderly patients about the cost of their prescriptions, they are rude when they do talk to you. Their staffs appearance is very disheveled and not professional at all. and the never ending excuse is were short staffed WELL HIRE SOME PEOPLE AND STAFF YOUR PHARMACY>>>>>>>> im encouraging my patients to switch pharmacy as Ive been getting complaints from my patients and they are treated...
Used to like this place, Ivegone here for years and years. Something changed, I assume coorperate. They DO NOT pick up the phone. Late perscriptions all the time, days late, long queues inside and at the drive through. Ive finally had it, I will be finding somewhere else. Unfortunately the only place that is literally worse is the Safeway across the street.
NEGATIVE 5 STARSthe worst service, attitude, and excuse for a business ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with...if you want your meds refilled you have to call your doctor yourself..meds are not ready when told by staff when they will be..I was asked by a pharmacist....do u need them today??.referring to my lisonopril... IDK do I ?....then this morning I called 4 times each time the phone rang for 7 mins..then promptly hung up on me all 4 times...Im taking my business elsewhere...and please save you response to contact corporate you guys are a day late and 100 dollars short
This pharmacy is too small to be giving covid shots it has destroyed every other service the pharmacy gives, the employees are overwhelmed, and it took nearly a week to get an antibiotic, a week of agonizing pain from a dental abscess then it burst! Then I got the pills too late, now after having the tooth pulled Im trying to check on the medication, and first they didnt answer, now the phone is giving the rapid busy signal common to phone off the hook. They might be out of order, but nothing there has been rite since they started giving covid shots. They have had my business for years but sadly I may have to move my meds back to Walgreens.
The pharmacy is a complete mess. Prescriptions are never ready, sometimes they are backlogged for days. Staff is so stressed and overwhelmed they hardly seem to realize or care that the meds called in are not in fact ready. I need my meds. It is harmful for me to skip days. Whoever is managing this pharmacy shouldnt be. Its completely unprofessional and a major safety risk to count on this pharmacy for your medical needs.
Waited entirely too long for covid shot, my second one. While waiting I was witness to over a dozen refusals of medication and prescriptions called in from earlier in the day in the day previous. Heard a myriad of excuses none of which I would have taken except I had to have my second covid shot. Appointment or not expect to spend 1 hour there if dealing with the pharmacy and even then I cant guarantee results...To the owner or proprietor of the Rite Aid please do not respond with a cookie cutter response!! please meet all of your one star ratings head on, individually and improve. Your neighborhood needs a pharmacy
This is on corporate not the pharmacists. Taking 5 days to fill prescriptions is completely inappropriate. Stop cutting corners. Have enough pharmacists to manage injections without having the have the prescription customers suffer. Every time Im in the pharmacist is rushing back and forth between shots and meds. This is how you end up messing up and giving people the wrong meds and they end up in the hospital multiple times because of it (you know what Im talking about Im sure, but I cant say more than that right now). For a lot of these meds its absolutely vital that people get them, for example I was prescribed a medication for temporary severe situational anxiety, but youre about 5 days behind. This means I have to wait and suffer until you decide you have time to fill my medical. This is inexcusable.
Ive called the pharmacy 14 times this morning and spent over an hour on hold and not once has anyone picked up. This is getting ridiculous. I need to know if it when you are going to fill my medication because Im now on day 4 of withdrawals from immediate cessation of a controlled substance and last time you did this to me I had to go to the ER to get an IV because of it. You have to get it together guys. There is no excuse for this level of mess you currently have.
Can I leave zero stars? That’s what this terrible pharmacy deserves. Very bad, don’t shop here or use the pharmacy stay away!!!
We’ve been getting our meds their for years but recently we’ve had several experiences where meds haven’t been ready for days after filling/refilling…… meds that can’t be skipped/missed. Getting a hold of a pharmacist by phone is impossible. Sometime soon, someone is going to have a medical emergency because they’ve missed their meds that weren’t filled in a close to timely fashion. Big lawsuit coming I sense.
(solely about the pharmacy)Your pharmacy is terrible. Theres the one thing I cant speak about because its ongoing. However, I had a new issue today. I used your pay n go service to pay my medications before I came to pick them up (I feel like its the polite thing to do so I dont hold up the line). Ive done this many times no problem. Well today, I had paid them using pay n go, it shows online that I paid them and I have the email confirmation. I showed this to your staff and they still made me pay again! So now Ive paid twice for my medications and your staff wont do anything to help help me get refunded! I just got kind of a well too bad for you response. This is ridiculous. How is it legal for you to make me pay twice for medication? I hope you will have someone reach out to me, but also I am going to file a bbb complaint.
I’ve been going here for almost three years with no problems. However, in the last 4-6 months, this has turned into the actual worst pharmacy I’ve ever encountered.
I called in a prescription yesterday and it was supposed to be ready last night. I came to the pharmacy today at 1:45. Stood in line for 20 minutes. The prescription wasnt ready. They said the pharmacist would have it filled in 5 minutes. Ive been sitting here waiting for 20 minutes now. How long does it take to put 30 pills in a jar?
Always missing my Rx for 3, 4 days...but I guess now its normal... they always have an excuse that they short staff! The other thing was, I had my second vaccination done at this location.First of all the girl didnt wear gloves! When she was done with a shot, she sticked the band-aid way below under the shot, so my whole shoulder was bleeding, when I got to my car...
I generally dont write review but the service and experience of Rite Aid forces me write this review. Horrible service, they keep delaying the prescription, they dont pick up the phone, I had to visit the 5 times in 2 days. and after 5th visit they are saying we are out of stock we need to order the medicine and we can not guarantee when we will receive the medicine.
I went to pick up my medicine on Sunday the 5th, it wasnt done. It was suppose to be done SATURDAY through 4th. I might just be Switching pharmacies.
Went in today to pick up my sons prescription that was called in yesterday by my sons psychiatrist and was told they were running 4 days behind on prescriptions with no phone call made to notify me. Six people waiting for Covid shots so the pharmacist said she didnt have time to look at my sons prescription. I got a hopefully it will be ready tomorrow morning. Called in later to find out why they are four days behind. They are understaffed. How about a courtesy call to customers. Or an option for people to get their vaccination somewhere else till you can get caught up on filling peoples prescription s.
Having called this idiotic store over thirty times today, with three pick ups then being hung up on, Id say pass this place by. They are oblivious to patients needs.
This is the worst pharmacy ever. I called in a refill last week, went to pick it up, and was told it had been canceled because I have no insurance. No one called to confirm this. No one followed up. So, after a 30 min wait I was told to come back in another hour and they would refill it.Save your time and go elsewhere.
I honestly thought the problems I had with the Rite Aid pharmacy were specific to the location in Chehalis. Nope. As it turns out the wait is even longer here for meds that should have been done HOURS before AND the customer service is absolutely garbage. Every employee in the pharmacy is disrespectful and and self centered. Instead of focusing on getting prescriptions out the pharmacist and cashier spend their time complaining about answering customer questions.
I would like to make a complaint of how this rite aide is handling Covid vaccination and test at Cooper point. Twice now because of mis information and lack of signage I have exposed other while waiting for o er an hour and in store when scheduled for my appointment. I feel this is very very unfair and there needs to be signage
Ive had very good luck getting prescriptions filled at Rite Aid on Harrison. They can get busy at times, but Ive never had an excessive wait. I found the staff to be friendly and professional. Non-pharmacy products tend to cost a bit more than the grocery store, but Rite Aid has a lot of really good sales, too.
Worst pharmacy ever, extremely slow, they forget to actually fill your prescription after giving you a 3 hr wait time…just awful smh
Right when the pharmacy opened today, my dentist office called in a prescription I need for a procedure in the morning. The pharmacist reassured the dental office they would contact me by text when it was filled. I called to check on it because it was close to closing and the pharmacist passively says “We need your insurance.” I asked if I could just purchase it and she repeated herself. I said confused, “I have Delta Dental” and she says to me “They don’t cover this. Do you have medication insurance?” After clarifying with my husband, I say to her “I have Kaiser...” after a moment I say again “Can I just purchase it?” And she joyfully says “It’s 17.99 and we close at 6pm!” I looked at the clock and it’s 5:52 pm. What. A. Joke. Thanks for no customer service.
I’ll never come here again. I asked to have my levothyroxine filled Tuesday (which is my thyroid pill has to be taken Daily before I even eat and yes your life does in fact depend on it say I had been without it since Tuesday id be extremely sick) today is now Saturday and when I called their only excuse is that they are under staffed and “people keep quitting” is what the PHARMACIST told me. I don’t understand the level of unprofessionalism here every single time. And especially since I’ve been sick with cancer I do not appreciate how they DON’T prioritize anything or even have any kind of system obviously. The staff are extremely rude but most importantly dismissive. They don’t obviously care about your well being at this Rite aid, and if it’s been an issue for so long I’m not sure why management hasn’t been re-evaluated. You guys need to get your stuff together. That’s being nice. I also don’t have the time to deal with your horrible management / staff or customer service anymore I will happily switch pharmacies and file a BBB complaint as well.it’s 10 am and I haven’t been able to eat because I can not eat within a certain time of taking my medication which I DONT have because rite aid doesn’t seem to think it’s important.last month when I refilled this same medication the same thing happened and they had NO excuse. I was sick and fainting and shaking and throwing up in their parking lot waiting for them and they can’t blame being under staffed. You’ve been understaffed for an entire month??? THATS definitely not okay, why is the corporation not getting involved is what I want to know.
OMG The pharmacy has no staff. People wait for hours in line.
Tried calling and the phone just rang and rang until someone picked up and hung up. I tried calling back and it said “busy.” This is beyond frustrating!
Pharmacy is extremely slow and backed up. Took 45 mins waiting in line to get to the window. They tried to have me wait in the store or come back in one hour because they are a week behind. Just a heads up if your looking to get your Rx filled.
Long wait times in-store as well as drive-thru....like really long. Trouble reaching anyone by phone too, several calls on hold with automated system only to get hung up on. Frustrating to say the least.
Don’t bring your disposable cameras here. i dropped one off in december and repeatedly called after it had been well over the timeframe to get it back. after 4 phone calls and 3 months, i was finally informed that my photos had been there for months, they just never informed me. this most recent time, i dropped it off in march. it’s been over 5 weeks and i just went to go check and see if my photos were back yet. i was just informed that my camera was sent out today. they are supposed to go out every tuesday. photos are supposed to be back within 2-3 weeks but they took 5 just to send my camera out? do better. having these physical photos are extremely important to me.
I went to urgent care today and then to this pharmacy drive thru RIGHT AFTER and they had my prescription ready!!! (2 cars were ahead of me so my total wait time was 15 min after leaving urgent care) I was amazed at how quickly I could recieve it. This is my 3rd time coming to this rite aid in the past 3 months and couldn’t be more satisfied, Quick, professional & efficient.
Cant come here anymore after 1-2 years getting my scripts filled. Waited in drive thru line for 30 mins yesterday for a script that was called in 4 hrs earlier. Was told it was still not ready. Lady in car next to me was picking up her suboxone and it wasnt ready either and wouldnt be for a couple more hours. That could have caused a relapse. Unacceptable.
This review is against corporate you need to hire more staff in the pharmacy my prescription was called in on may 14th and this morning I called in wondering why I had no text notifications I was told they had not even started which o guess explains why your Pharm told me earlier in the morning that there were no prescriptions called In for me at all!!! I called my dr who informed me they did in fact call the medicine in. I have had to switch my humira and methotrexate to another pharmacy because you never have my meds on stock when I need them and then my pain meds are always a four day wait that’s a no go for me because it forces me to refill all my meds on different days requiring multiple trips to the doctors as most of my meds cannot be called in and must be handed directly to you. You told me today that your understaffed and that they had just started to fill my script and that you had over 200 scripts backlogged in just your pharmacy. You service a high volume community in an upper/ high middle class area and you tell me that 200 of my neighbors are Still waiting for medications? My mother and father uses you it’s malpractice to have that high of a backlog and someone could die waiting for there medicine shame on you rite aid
The pharmacist themselves here are usually pretty friendly but it seems like everybody who is an assistant pharmacist at this place is having the worst day of their life every time I go. And I go there a lot. Brighten up you guys. Things aint that bad.
Had an appointment for a vaccine shot at 6:20. I was forgotten about and didnt get in until after 7 pm. Ridiculously awful customer service.
The WORST run pharmacy ever!
Employees are great. After years of this store being my go to for pharmacy and other drug store needs I am done After having a tooth pulled I was told it would be a several hour wait for prescription. The prescription had been called in by dental office two hours before our arrival. I opted to go without prescription so I could get home and go to bed. If they were so busy they should have told the dentist office when prescription was called in so we could explore other options. I was not willing to wait with other customers (who could have been getting prescriptions for communicable diseases). They appear to not have enough staff to meet customer need. Or staff is not working at expected levels. I have a call into management to complain. Do not use this store to fill your prescriptions!!
Every time I go here, I have a great experience. They always have my medicine. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good job, guys!
Pharmacy staff are kind, but they seem to be understaffed. Expect >15 min wait time, every time.
Trust the reviews here. Customer service is absolutely horrible and their labels are illegible with tiny, blurry font. I asked that a refill request be sent to my doctor and told them to confirm the doctor based on a medication they had just filled. They refused. I’ll be taking my prescriptions elsewhere.
Dr. sent in RX a week ago, that day they told me they werent ready to be filled/couldnt be filled yet and that theyd contact me when they were ready. Whatever, I wait and realize almost a week has gone by with nothing from them. I call and the second I started to question them about it they got an attitude, saying there is no record of these prescriptions and theres nothing they can do about it. So either their liars or they lose people prescriptions. I guess its normal for this location to allow people to go days or weeks without their medication. When I came in after contacting my doctor and having them send the prescriptions over a second time, they were nice enough to actually helped me instead of immediately getting frustrated like earlier, thats the only reason they get 2 stars instead of one. At least one of your employees has redeemable qualities.
Hit or miss with customer service in the pharmacy
The pharmacy staff were exceptionally helpful.Steven Nguyen and Wesley Mungal went out of their way to help me figure out which supplements would be best for me. Thank you.
Ive been going here for about a year, and Ive always had pretty good experiences. The only exception is when an elderly lady named Kathy had the nerve to tell me I shouldnt be taking something to help me sleep, and that being dependent on anything is bad. Its not the staffs job to tell me what I should and shouldnt take, and to make me feel like Im some dirty addict or something. I just take a very low dose non-addictive anti-depressant for sleep, and shes talking to me like Im on heroin or something. Completely unacceptable.
This place is the worst. The pharmacy is, not the actual store part. The people who work there are always so rude and they clearly dont care about their patients. Ive tried updated my address with them over 5 times and my phone number too. One time I even wrote it down for them and handed it to them on paper. Still nothing. I always have them refilling prescriptions I told them are no longer ones that are needed. I called two days ago to refill my prescription and they have nothing, which always seems to be, so I have started calling them to ask if they are done (dont get texts cause they dont update my number) and they are so rude when i ask. Like maybe if you did your job I wouldnt have to call to make sure youve refilled the right ones that are needed. Ive been with this pharmacy for 3 years and not a thing has changed.
Unparalled customer service !! Each time I come in, I am greeted with a kind word or a warm smile. I cannot comment on the pharmacy. This rating is for all of the front of the store clerks and managers.
I normally dont write bad reviews, especially since I work in customer service and I know how it gets sometimes, but almost every experience with this pharmacy has been a negative one. The last straw happened today. We got a couple of calls that my long-term medication was ready and twice now we have tried to pick it up and was told I did not have anything. Today the young lady working there did not even ask for the date of birth, even though she is supposed to. She looked for a second and came back to say I didnt have anything... So my husband told her we got a call that my medication was ready and she told him I didnt have anything and that there was a line so he should leave. Im just thankful I dont have a life threatening illness because this pharmacy is slow and unhelpful and the customer service is lacking. If you are looking for a new pharmacy I would not recommend this one. Im definitely going to switch.
Pharmacists denied medication to a paying client and informed them “if they can afford to pay out of pocket, they can afford insurance” and denied the customer their antibiotic medication. The customer’s insurance had temporarily lapsed. The customer was then told “nowhere in WA state will honor this prescription.” Then the pharmacy lied about their weirdly judgmental policy decisions that put someone’s health at risk and said they never said this. After going to a different pharmacy it took ten minutes and less than $15 to have the customer get their prescription filled. So disappointing because this used to be a decent pharmacy. Will no longer use them as a pharmacy.
Usually have really great experience here. But why would a drive up pharmacy not have their drive thru cleared from the snow. Almost got stuck trying to pick up my prescription. Poor customer care. Hope no elderly or disabled patrons get stuck
I use two Rite Aid Pharmacy. The first one is the one in Aberdeen and this one in Olympia. What I find is that the Olympia one treats their customers with dignity and respect. It is a night and day experience that I have with the two pharmacies. I highly recommend this pharmacy located on Cooper Point Road in Olympia.
Over the past few years, I’ve been over charged, I’ve had them put through claims on my insurance early causing issues when I pick up my meds. I’ve been given false information about the laws on transferring my medication and given the run around when I want to pick up my RX. I always have to call a week in advance and they still don’t always have it in stock and when they don’t they have me call all of the other locations because apprantly there is no internal communication between rite aids and certainly no customer service so they don’t mind hanging up while you do the work. Last month I had to make a second trip over there because they didn’t have my RX but... they claimed it through my insurance and instead of making the 2 minute call to fix it promptly they had me wait an hour while they helped everyone else before they fixed their own mistake. I’m finally done with this location and will be going somewhere else. The trouble to change pharmacies is a lot less than the trouble I go through every month dealing with this place.
Unfortunately these guys may be technically right about details, but their lack of customer service and compassion is unparalleled. My husband just had surgery and was given one prescription but with multiple meds on it, plus the temp disabled script. The women at the drive in pick up didn’t listen to my explanation, read the wrong part of the script (said “this is for your disabled card), failed to read the full sections, literally threw our prescription back at us. After I explained a few times, and asked for the script back to get the pass filled, she was unhelpful and curt and simply said no I can’t. She got her manager, who explained the reasoning. However, thought she may be right about technicalities, her demeanor was hostile and unkind. This pharmacy has the worst service and very unhelpful as we sort all this out for the first time. Don’t go here. Very disappointing and frustrating. Wish I could give negative stars.
Very prompt and courteous service - everyone engaging, pleasant and professional. Totally positive experience.
Extremely rude, I called to ask about medication interactions, pharmacy tech was rude, waited to speak with the pharmacist and she told me I dont know youll have to ask a doctor was very short with me and frankly if you dont know how two medications will interact you have no damn business being a pharmacist. I will never have a prescription filled here, and everyone I know who has filled through them says the same thing. Way to go, rite aid.
I went to this pharmacy today and the guy with the dark hair was so rude and not empathetic for my situation. I have an L & I claim for a compression fracture. This is the 2nd prescription for meds. He told me that L & I wasn’t authorizing it as it hasn’t been completely filed and it’s after 5 PM so nothing he could do. Got it. Let’s run it through my regular medical plan. He copped a how dare you attitude and told me it was insurance fraud. I said I’d pay any copay of my insurance deemed necessary. He said absolutely not with a big smirk and condescending attitude. I already waited 40 minutes so I paid the damn $80.00 so I can have the necessary meds so I could rest comfortably.I will never do business there again.
Terrible service. Called ahead TWICE and was assured my rx would be ready. Arrived an hour after they claimed it was filled and ready only to wait another 45 minutes.
Drive thru is slow.
Ive had it with this pharmacy. Been going for 6 months, and today was the last straw. I ran out of buspirone, a non-addictive medication used to help treat anxiety, over the weekend. With no refills left, I waited until Monday, called my doctors office and requested a refill. Unfortunately, my doctor has been out all week, so on Wednesday, not hearing anything, I called again. I was told by my doctors office that I should NOT just stop taking it, as it takes time to accumulate in my system, and while they get it refilled, I should request an emergency 3 day refill for my pharmacy. I called, and was put on hold (hung up on) in mid sentence, after being interrupted repeatedly by the young lady I talked to. I called back, this time speaking with the actual pharmacist, who explained Id have to sit in their waiting area for a while and ask nicely if I wanted them to provide me any emergency medication. I hung up, and called back to speak with the store manager, who refused to allow me to record the call, and was really rude and dismissive. Never again. Youre here to dispense medication. Not act out your little power trips when someone whos hurting reaches out to you for help. Shame on everyone who I talked to today. Shame on you.
Cant leave this rite aid without being accosted by homeless people begging right on the front stoop. Every single day of the week.
Rude and poor customer service.
This store is racist !!!!!!
Consistently doesnt have prescriptions ready at appointed times, or even on the day they say they will!Professionalism = 0Update: when I told my Dr I wanted to change pharmacy, they said, I dont blame you! And laughed. If thats not a sign of a problem...
Rude pharmacy employees at times, other times friendly and helpful. LONG LINES. Ive never spent less than a half hour waiting for meds and the phone system goes in and out. Front end staff are friendly, being greeted when entering the store helps ease the frustration of standing in line in pain for a half hour or more.
Horrible pharmacy. The older female pharmacist needs to be retired. She charges for meds that are covered under insurance. Rite aid doesnt care about this pharmacy.. its a circus.
