Great people whove provided the community with necessities for many years.Heck, Merl brings a generator when the power is out to make sure the store stays open even when the others arent. Thats 5 star service in my book.
I like this place because its the closest store to summit lake and its a ma and pa ran little store, but they close to early in the summer time and they dont sell gas anymore so that is not very convenient. Other then those 2 things the people are friendly and its clean.
Classic. Always needed at just the right time. Ive driven by here for years, knowing its available when I need it most. Thanks for being here!
I loved this place! We were on the return trip from Ocean Shores headed into Seattle. I was in desperate need of a bathroom facility, I asked Frank to pull over at the next available place. The next place just happened to be Summit Lake Grocery. I was overjoyed to see a porta-potty outside the business. Afterwards I wanted to purchase something from the business that had provided a bathroom for everyone to use. Upon entering I immediately gave a thanks to the nice woman behind the counter for having the facilities for me to use. Then Frank and I strolled thru the store looking for what we wanted to purchase. We made our selection. We proceeded to the counter - the individual was just so polite and helpful. It was just a really nice unexpected encounter overall. I will go out of my way to do business with this company in the future. They make you feel like theyre your old friend that you havent seen in awhile. I wish more businesses treated their customers the way this person engaged with us. Very open to conversation and not just there doing a mundane or unimportant job. That person really really made my day better (it wasnt going so good for me before this).
Seems nice but doesnt have gas like it says it does on Maps. Not their fault.
Friendly country guy- reasonable prices- convenient spot.
Small store but great service from nice people.
If only they could keep the Sani Cans cleaner!!
