We had our wedding cake made here and it was beyond our expectations! It was more beautiful than I ever imagined. We wanted a lemon cake and they knocked it out of the park! Easily the best cake we have ever had! Thank you so much!!!

Amber with Sift and Gather made the most AMAZING cake for my friends baby shower. She fit me in fairly close the the day and was able to make me a beautiful 2 tiered vanilla cake with lemon strawberry filling and vanilla butter cream. I let her know it was a tea party butterfly theme and she created this masterpiece!!! I am out of town so I wasn’t able to go in and meet with her before hand so we only emailed back and forth and what she came up with was perfection. Not only was it a beautiful cake but it tasted heavenly, hands down best cake I’ve ever hand!! I HIGHLY recommend working with her for any and all your needs, she’s the BEST!

Amber made us a delicious and beautiful wedding cake for our wedding last month! We picked Sift & Gather after doing a take home cake tasting last winter and LOVING the flavors, especially the buttercream. We also appreciated the take-home option during the pandemic. We ended up ordering a sweetheart cake for us, and several sheet cakes for the rest of our guests. Several friends at the wedding have said its the best wedding cake theyve ever had! I plan to refer to all my Seattle-area engaged friends so I can enjoy again :)

Not only did Amber make all of my wedding cake dreams come true, but I was repeatedly impressed by her as a person. Both before and after my wedding, I was met with gold standard interactions. Amber is the most incredible hype woman, unbelievably down to earth, and so very authentic. I admire her as a person and every single one of her cakes more than words can say. I can say that I spent approximately half of my reception side eyeing that beauty & not so patiently anticipating eating it. Her cakes are perfect inside and out, just like she is! I would choose her to create another masterpiece for me a million times over again, and I highly recommend that you all do the same.

Amber is a true artist with wedding cakes! We feel very lucky to have had her expertise and to have her make the elopement wedding cake of our dreams. Sift and Gather has been an absolute dream to work with on multiple occasions. Even though I have many clients who have chosen them for their Wedding Day or Elopement, this one really went above and beyond. I had a Client whos beautiful Mountain Top Elopement was met with torrential downpours, snow and and made it near impossible to photograph, let alone set up a table from them to enjoy their cake cutting. The cake made a round trip of 6 hours back to the shop where she took the time and care to bring it to life again, so we could go back up to the mountain later that weekend. She replaced the flourishes, fixed blemishes in the frosting from my own lack of smooth travel. The couple was so over the moon excited and the cake was delicious and beautiful. I cant say enough things about how wonderful Amber and her team are, she is an artist and a truly amazing person!

On a regular basis I dream about eating the cake from Sift and Gather... literally I would eat it daily! You for sure want cake and treats from Sift and Gather for ANY event!!! Amber made us an absolutely beautiful and delicious cake for our wedding and with super short notice. Our Kauai wedding was postponed and she brought us to the beach with a mouthwatering gorgeous beach themed cake-- she is a genius! It was so good we ordered another cake for a family event and cannot wait to eat it soon :)

Amber made the most amazing mint chocolate cake for us. It’s been a few years, and I still think about it and what I would do for one more bite. She is so incredibly professional, lovely, creative, and just a complete expert at her craft. I would absolutely recommend her for any of your baked good needs.

We initially didnt think a wedding cake would fit into our budget, but with COVID restrictions it was suddenly possible to get the cake of my dreams. Amber is a true artist and wonderful human! From the start, she was very patient and helped us find the best option for our intimate wedding. She worked with our planner to perfectly match our colors and setting. And of course, the cake was delicious! I like pretty basic vanilla cakes, but she still managed to make it special. I couldn’t wait until we got photos back (of the cake specifically) because it was a true work of art that completed the day! We drove a couple hours to her shop, and it was 100% worth it. OKAY. Amber is seriously amazing. I’m a photographer who reached out to her to design a cake for a styled shoot I was hosting. I had a vision in mind but also wanted to give her creative freedom because have you seen her work? STUNNING. She blew me away and I wasn’t even surprised because you can see in her work and the way she runs her business that everything she creates is special and made with love. She is professional and has extremely high expectations for everything she creates and I admire that about her! I have had cake, cookies, and the famous sweet buns from Amber. Let me tell you, the flavor for all of it was OFF THE CHARTS! My brother came to visit and we had sweet buns. All he kept saying was “I’m going to dream about these for the rest of my life!” Yes, her baking is that good, but her kindness and personality makes everything she touches even more magical! I cannot recommend Amber of Sift & Gather more. She quite literally made my wedding cake dreams come true and she made it happen with shorter than normal notice AND she traveled 10 hours to deliver it. All communication was via email and she still made me feel like the most important bride.I actually never got the pleasure of meeting Amber in person until March 2021 (1.5 years after my wedding) when I was traveling to Seattle. I reached out to see about an order of her sweet buns...PEOPLE she wasn’t even making them that weekend and she pulled out all the stops to make me an order AND she baked me a couple extra. To say she goes above and beyond is a total understatement. I could literally taste the love that she baked into these buns. Hands down the best experience! Do yourself a favor and book her for anything and everything.
