The shop is nice, and they have a good selection. 2-stars because their prices on transfers is absolutely ridiculous! $80 per serialized item. EIGHTY DOLLARS! Borderline criminal. I wanted to like the place, but I’ll take my business across town to the guys that only charge $20.

For a first time gun buyer the staff made me feel very comfortable. I learned more in 5 minutes than I have in 40 plus years.

The guys working & the owner are awesome & after checking out all the shops around these guys had the largest selection as of 3/30/2021.

I felt very welcomed as soon as I walked through the door yesterday, very swift transaction backed by a knowledgeable staff. Arrogance runs strong in this shop unfortunately. Walked through a few weapons as I’m due for a new tool, but I obviously knew more about the manufacturing processes than the employee. I let him toss around his spiel but found him making up details twice, and let him know afterwards he was wrong and likely has been telling others. The reaction that followed was something I’d be more inclined to find from 5yr old niece.Unfortunate too as this side of town needs shops like these.

I thought I-5 gun store was bad but private sector arms has to be the worst. I ordered a gun on the 18 of March 2020 and waited 2 months with no phone call so I went into the store. The employees kept telling me to wait not even checking on my order. Finally one employee looked at their orders and found out they never even ordered it!!! I gave them the benefit of the doubt even though the owner lied to me saying he ordered extra. Waited 3 more weeks with no response or update. My sister in-law ordered a gun from a small mom and pop store by Shelton WA and got her gun in days. Would not recommend getting a gun at this place unless you want to wait months with no response.This place has no sense of customer service or dedication.

This is a awesome shop watched a video of these patriots on YouTube decided to come down to look at holsters these amazing staff fixed the holster I had that didn’t work I was grateful as I didn’t have to buy another holster. I bought a charging handle i will be back later this month to purchase a firearm and highly suggest this business.

New to recreational shooting? Good news, these folks know what their talking about and listen before making suggestions. I Finally bought a pistol and couldnt be happier.I was not familiar with the brand and it was a little more $ than I expected. I took a chance but after a bit of research,was more than happy to find that I GOT A GREAT DEAL!The store maybe small, but maybe that is why checkout was fast and easy. However, if you dont like waiting around for 15 minutes while they run your federal, state, and local background checks, there is an ice cream parlor next door😇And if they dont leap to assist you immediately, relax. They probably want to get a temp on ya. If I hadnt mentioned, they bravely located in Evergreen State College antifa territory, a little respect goes a long way with these guys; because these guys know a free society comes with all kinds.Peace is not superior firepower, it is about superior character, and these guys get it. So get in there, get some, and support this small business.

Very helpful! Was my first handgun purchase I had done online and had it shipped to private sector. (They make little to no money as the gun was purchased from a different online business) They educated me on gun as tho I had bought it from them. I was searching for a particular type of ammo which they didnt carry, but, The guy at the counter gave me a few from his own stash though he had only a few rounds to begin with at no charge. Dons shop is one of my favorites in Washington. There is always good customer service. He also has some pretty interesting items you wouldnt expect to find in a small shop. Antique Colts and Winchesters to unique SBRs and high end imports. Plus all the standard stuff.

My experience at Private Sector Arms was a bust and no matter how hard we tried to compromise and work out something all we received was foul language and an invitation to leave. They are currently holding our firearm transfer hostage the firearm is in limbo with unrealistic fees. The store knows who we are and we would welcome a compromise and would be happy to resolve this issue.

They went above and beyond expectation. A company that is truly there for the community. Also, just to be consistent, theres also an ice cream shop im the parking lot

After selling multiple firearms in multiple FFLs to individuals, this has been the only shop to turn down such activity. My hope is the customer will purchase accessories from the store and also provide a positive word of mouth experience to a fellow gun lover. However the owner of Private Sector saw it as infringing on his rent and took the whole situation pathetically personal. Take your business elsewhere.

Owner wants $300 for NFA transfers even on items he cannot get from his own distributor an proceeded to lecture me on the evils of buying online. Please dont pay more than $100 for any FFL/SOT transfer for any reason, no matter what this dude tells you. Moreover, he confused the Executive Actions proposed by the presidential branch with 41P. You do not need to file fingerprints or a background check with Trust purchases as of yet. I left and chose to leave this comment after he went on bad mouthing me as I left to another customer, who also had no idea what was going on. East County Guns on the other hand were fantastic.
