This is the best place for cars…I’ve purchased cars from multiple dealerships around Omaha and this dealership was by far the best. It was so good that we purchased a second car from them. We have had a great experience with maintenance, customer service for regular maintenance checks. The mechanics listen and try to resolve all issues. The sales personnel worked to get us the best deal and stayed within our budget. They go above and beyond to ensure customers are happy with their purchases.

Living in central Iowa we went out on a whim and reached out to the folks at Baxter Omaha and I’m glad we did. I had the opportunity to work with Jonmar, a sales manager, to locate a 2021 Atlas. Jonmar was professional, knew his stuff and I never felt pressure to purchase. He treated me fairly when discussing trade-in and all the while doing it over the phone. Genna, the finance manager, was fantastic securing financing. We felt confident Genna was working for us and getting the best rate possible. After everything was done they delivered the vehicle to my house (in Iowa) the next day! Everyone at Baxter made our car buying process easy and I highly recommend them to others.

So I took my car in for a sunroof leak. They had my vehicle for almost a month and didn’t figure out there was a recall on the issue until two weeks later. They told me I can either buy a whole new sunroof frame which the part alone is 1,000 dollars when I already spent plenty on the problem before hand. I told them I would rather just redo the whole recall again and I was told it was 277$. Then when I come to pick up my car they charge me $1,100 and on top of that the leather in the back seat of my car was damaged. I asked one of the advisors about it and he said “yeah it will come out slowly over time”. Terrible place to take your car in. Definitely not taking my car here anymore.

I worked with Caleb and recommend literally anyone else shopping a VW. He actually cares about what car you want and knows the pros and cons, it’s entirely refreshing to be able to shop for a vehicle and not have “are you buying” shoved down your throat. Most sales people think it’s that simple, for some it may be but I am getting out of a vehicle I don’t like and wanted to make sure the next one I purchase was really a car i could live with and enjoy being in. Caleb has constantly kept me informed on availability and let me test drive varying models to compare contrast and eventually reaffirm the car I know I wanted to be in. He made the process easy and never once looked to get me in a car on the lot, to just to make a sale. Caleb is as much friendly and genuine as he is a salesmen. *Updated*Just another dealership. I was promised a second key for my certified pre-owned car. There was something wrong with the one they had on have. The dealership said theyd order a new one in for me. When it came in I was told to bring the car in to program the key. When I arrived I was told I shouldve made an appointment because it would take at least an hour to program the key (not including any wait time). They werent upfront with this information. Somehow it was omitted by the both people I talked to about this before I brought the car in. At this point Im wondering if they happened to omit anything else I should know. Very displeased with the Baxter group.Update: Jeff reached out to me to see what could be done to make things right/better. He was understanding of my frustrations and apologized for the communication issue. He sent a tech to get my key issue taken care of. I truly appreciate the effort they put in to resolve the issue. Thanks to Jeff and thanks to the pleasant technician Chris for taking care of this.

I couldn’t speak highly enough of Rashad and his manager Kendra. Even with the limited selection across the car market right now, they both did a fantastic job at helping us get what we were looking for. We did have a deal fall through as the car we thought we were getting was sold by another dealership but that didn’t stop either of them from bending over backwards and making sure we got the car we were hoping for. Don’t ask for anyone else but these two if you’re looking for a new car at Baxter Volkswagon.

I was due for an oil change. I called ahead to schedule but was able to walk in. I was greeted quickly and was given options and wait time. I was also provided an Uber to and from the facility as I waited and was surprised to have all services completed ahead of time. Car felt like it drove better and they even cleaned the floor mats.

Purchased a used Tiguan. On the highway there was a noise coming from the wheel, clearly a hub or bearing. I took it in multiple times within the initial warranty period and they kept telling me oh its fine, nothing wrong. I take it back later, same noise, same problem. What do they say? you need a wheel bearing fixed......Not only that. I took it in for the $145 inspection. when I called to decline service and ask final price, they quoted me $350. When I brought up the extra $200, the service tech was like oh year I did mess that up, let me fix that. Dude would have stolen $200 had he not been confronted.While their sales lot and team are as good as any other dealership, their service department is full of crooks and liars.

10/10 recommend the entire staff from sales, to the finance staff, to the service department. They truly have your best interest at heart and ensure a fantastic experience! They take wonderful care of our beautiful atlas cross sport and my fiance and I recommend them to all our friends and family!

Ill preface this with Im not fond of Volkswagen cars. However, I had seen a listing for a Hyundai Sonata Sport+ edition. I emailed an inquiry about it and had the pleasure of talking to Mark who set an appointment with Luke for me to see the car. Stopped in yesterday to see it, fell in love with the vehicle and bought it against my moms wishes. She didnt see the car till I got home but even shes biting her tongue about it.Jason got me a good interest rating contrary to what other banks had offered me.My only tid bit of annoyance was that I had to wait a bit longer than I wouldve liked for what literally was just slapping a paper on a windshield. I made it to work just fine but had to go without eating which was pain.Overall staff was great and I love the car!

Good dealership, friendly staff. Ive bought from Baxter twice now. They post their CarFax online which is really appreciative and they offer car delivery as well as a 3 month pt warranty for certified used vehicles. My seller, Reggie, was nice and helpful. Their facilities are also very welcoming (they offer you drinks and coffee). Only qualm is that they try to get you to finance with them (which most dealerships do); so you have to sit there and tell the finance guys that youre certain that youre going with your pre-approved lender - and not them - like 6 times. Still the best dealership Ive been to.

The worst experience I have had with cars. I went in and traded a lease that I was in for a VW and I got a 2022 Taos with every single thing wrong with it. I have been waiting for MY car for over a month now and have requested several times to get out of the car and get a completely different one. It has gotten to the point where it has taken over a month for anyone to do anything about it and it still is not solved. I have driven at least 10+ rental cars from them and it is very inconvenient. I honestly do not recommend at all.

Had an appointment at 9 AM on a Saturday, was speaking with a salesman immediately. Decided on a car and then started the paperwork.Giving four stars due to the amount of time spent at the dealership. With a 9 AM appointment, I didn’t leave until 1:30. Part of the issue was with the vehicle I had where they needed to fix a cosmetic issue that broke while still in the parking lot but all the same, the amount of time it takes to buy a vehicle really drags on.Apart from the time spent there the customer service was excellent. Communication was constant and consistent, they always asked if I needed anything and and when the cosmetic issue was fixed there was no charge. Plenty of ways for them to nickel and dime you but I never felt taken advantage of.

We were looking for a good starter can for my daughter. Stopped in to Baxter Volkswagen, and that is where we were introduced to Reggie in sales. He was really easy to work with. Listen to our concerns with what we needed. He was very upfront and honest with what he was able to do. There was no haggling no back and forth. They went to an upfront price structure that makes it easy and convenient. It was fair and easy. Why should people buy the same car for different prices. Everyone gets the same offers. I will definitely tell everyone I know looking for a vehicle to start with Reggie at Baxter Volkswagen.

It was an amazing experience from the start. Kendra called me and made me feel extremely comfortable with setting an appointment. Purchased a brand new 2020 GTI in October of 2020. Oil change intervals of 10,000 miles. When the vehicle reached 8,000 miles my “add oil” light came on. I took it into the service department and was informed it was normal for a brand new vehicle to burn a little oil? They took the car back and checked it and added oil accordingly. When I asked how low the oil was I was informed it was 4.5 quarts low. They said they would open a service ticket on it and contact me back. I have heard nothing. When informing them of my reluctance to leave with a vehicle that could have a potentially damaged engine they dismissed me and my concerns and sent me on my way. Do not buy from these people. Once the sale is done they do not care.

This is our second experience with Reggie, and both were completely different and absolutely excellent. First time, I was purchasing remotely. Second purchase, my recently graduated high school senior was purchasing his first car. At every point in the process : from crazy questions from a teenager to worried mom questions he answered each and every one of them with confidence. If he didnt have the answer, he checked and got back to us. During the test drive and the purchase, he recognized that my son was the buyer, and addressed him directly. Beyond purchasing an excellent vehicle, Reggie took it upon himself to include a kid who was learning. This experience was beyond anything I could have hoped for. A+++++ care from start to finish.

Came in for 50,000 mile service. Service writer checked on the status of the service and kept me in the loop frequently. Waiting area was comfortable (and the coffee was decent!). This is why I drive an hour just to have them work on my car—because it’s worth it.

I had a fantastic experience working with Caleb to purchase a pretty-hard-to-find Honda Element this week. He made things really easy for me, even got me a ride from the airport. He’s also very knowledgeable and answered every question we had. 5 star rating for Keith!The reason I knocked off a star is because of the financing part of the process. The signing went smooth and easy, we signed on a Thursday. The following Monday I noticed that my old auto finance company (for the car we traded in) had processed our monthly payment. I called Baxter right away to see what was going on and was explained that it takes a few days for them to pay off the car and that I should’ve cancelled my automatic payments. That really would’ve been nice to know at the time of signing. So now we have to wait a few weeks for everything to go through to get our money back.Other than that miscommunication it was a great experience overall.

Took our Jetta BACK to Baxter VW Omaha, turns out I was not the only one in the lobby returning due to inadequate repairs the first time. Actually, over half of us in the lobby and calling to schedule were retuning customers because things didnt get fixed properly the first time. After sitting in the lobby for over 2 hours, an associate (not Jaun who was assigned to our order) noticed he needed to try and get my car in TO BE SEEN. He said he didnt realize I was waiting at the dealership. Q. Why does that matter if I made an appointment? Follow up: Why does an appointment matter if you arent going to get me in at the scheduled time? Second Follow up: Why wouldnt fixing your own mistake not be a priority in general?Also to note, when we came for the original repair of glow plugs we were lied to by either Jaun or Eric as they both continuously gave us opposite stories as to what the issue was and what is covered under warranty. All in all this dealership is unprofessional, inefficient, and ineffective..... Ya know the top 3 qualities you look for in a dealership aside from integrity (clearly non existent at Baxter VW of Omaha).

Caleb Klees worked his tail off to complete a deal for us in one day! He took my call early in the morning, worked with me via phone, email, and text throughout the day to update us on what they did and did not have in stock until we were able to find a vehicle we were happy with. He delivered it to us at 730 that night. Unbelievable service! You left an indelible mark, Caleb. Many thanks to you for making us feel like old friends for one day.

The worst service ever, it took them 11hours to fix the pressure of my tires and a small dent. they never have a loaner so you cant do anything while your car is in the shop. they never call back to let you know when you will get your car back and you always need to call to check and it takes them for ever to get you an answer. unfriendly staff and they always find excuses to explain their unprofessional service. i dont advice anyone to go there for services.

Keith/Ron were great! They were very helpful!I didn’t think to check for a spare tire and surprise! There’s no spare tire. I bought a tire warranty (3 free tires) and seen if I could take one of the tires as a spare and was told no as it’s only to “fix” the tire.Then I found out they also dont pay taxes for your plates so I have to register, tax and tag my vehicle. (Which cost nearly $2,000-3,000.) They told me that they do not finance to plate your cars in your loan in Nebraska, which is a a lie because I have done this through Beardmore Chevy.They also had a 7 day policy to return the vehicle, with circumstances I wasn’t able to take my car right off the lot and they stated that policy is effective immediately. So I missed this opportunity as well!As a first time car buyer, I love my vehicle but I’m upset with all these hidden fees. Make sure they are up front with you and ask questions!

As we all know this past year was awful! But, after a storm comes a rainbow. My husband and I welcomed our first child into the world. Of course with the new addition we needed more room. I had a 2018 Tiguan before and I ABSOLUTLY loved it. I now have a 2020 Atlas Cross Sport. It is everything I could want in the affordable vehicle category. Not only do I love my Cross Sport, anytime I need anything done or have questions about my Cross Sport the sales team and service employees are eager to help. I especially love when I get service done they run it through the wash. (Its the little things) I can not believe such great customer service I receive when I come into the dealership. That type of work ethic is very hard to come by. So thank you Baxter VW Omaha for all that youve done and continue to do! :D

He hit a home run with the new vehicle selection and made an excellent trade offer without the frustrating back and forth haggling. My experience buying my Volkswagen was amazing start to finish! Once I told Mr. Knight about my car needs and how I was it rear ended in a accident he immediately hooked me up with the sales associate and they went to work on my behalf! I met Ms Shaye and she has been amazing very patient, very thorough and very knowledgeable about her craft! She has brought the car to my home she has brought the car to my work she has explain things multiple times! I have access to her anytime I need her she is very caring and making sure I got the right vehicle and that I was excited about my car!
