Went to this location for a charging cord. was greeting with a smile by the man at the front. he asked me what I was looking for, and searched the entire store for what I needed. I left happy and would recommend this location.
I had called Verizon to switch over and I spoke to a sweet lady named Ash. She answered all my questions and was very helpful and not pushy, she seemed to genuinely care about my phone needs and made sure I got what I needed!
Scheduled an appointment for 1PM online on a Sunday. Store hours say 4PM close online on Sunday, and I show up at 12:45 and the store is closed. Great customer service … not.
Ordered a new phone this morning. I was told I could pick it up after 1. Got there at 1:45 and there was a sign on the door that said temporarily closed but there were people inside. Try to call the store, nobody answered. After going through the rhetoric of contacting the Verizon app chat service finally got ahold of somebody but they didnt know where the store closed early. Now I have to make arrangements to pick up my phone tomorrow.UGH!!!
Luis was so wonderful and helped me so much! Very patient with all of my questions and went above and beyond! Everyone there was amazing!
Switched to Verizon, was told a package would be mailed to me to send in my old phone for the trade in promo. I talked to the white, 7 ft, bigger, older gentleman who came off as a shift lead. He gave me the wrong info and I almost lost out on the whole 700$ promo. Thankfully customer service ended up making the transaction right. I wish I knew the older gentleman’s name because he was so misleading and rushed me out of the store. Before leaving I did ask about leaving the phone for the trade in, which customer service said I should have done, and the gentleman said again something would be sent to me. Strangest transaction but I shifted it off as quick service.
The gentleman told me he would be happy to sell me anything but that they only do sales, nothing else account related. Frustrating experience and excellent example why I deviated away from Verizon’s overpriced services (or lack thereof).
This place needs help. Not enough staff. Long wait. The guy who helped me couldnt have been less interested in my business. I am Strongly considering switching carriers.
I am done with Verizon. I have been on hold for 45 minutes tonight and a supervisor didnt answer as I requested one. I got 2 Kyocera flip phones and they dont work right. Wont hook up to Bluetooth on car radio and it showed that it did. Ptt+dont work. Calls are starting to drop and its the fault of the factory. I dont like Verizon and I am canceling my contract because of the for mentioned above. I found a different phone 2 to be exact that are from a different carrier. I cannot transfer my pictures of my late dog that passed away this year to another phone to my stand by phone which is on prepaid service. Like I say people, stay away from Verizon. If you can,go to Walmart,TARGET and,get a prepaid phone. NOT VERIZON.
This particular store is always able to help me out with my cell issues. They were low on staff so the wait was a bit but Ive never been disappointed with the end results.
Terrible experience. Rep totally indifferent to helping us upgrade. Only question asked was What do you want? Didnt talk about specials or deals though there were deal banners all over the store. After around 20 years as Verizon customers, will be looking elsewhere.
Worse customer service ever. Showed up with a reservation, on time, and still had to wait another hour to be seen. Another time we showed up 10 minutes before closing and a store employee came outside to let us know they would not be of any help because they were closing. After trying to show up a third time, I’ve resorted to online chat and calls only as this store is never able to get me in within a decent amount of time. Don’t waste your time, customer service is not a priority.
Came in to get service to a phone I had bought through Verizon. Waited 50 minutes just to have Angie tell me I need to call customer service. She called customer service and left me while I waited for 15 minutes on hold. I get transferred without warning and after waiting another 10 minutes the 2nd guy hangs up on me after I tell him what I needed. When I informed Angie she offered no sympathy and tried to justify what happened and then told me the only thing she can do is sell me a new phone. Not sure how such a large network gets away with having trash customer service all around….phone support bad, in store terrible. Verizon will never have my business again.
If I could rate this location 0 stars I would. I came to this location after a very long day of trying to get my phone onto Verizon service. I came at 6:12p, and an employee put us in the queue. At this point he said the wait was over an hour. We asked if we would still get helped since they closed at 7pm. We said yes we would definitely get helped since he put us in the queue before closing and that they would call us when our turn was up. We arrived back in line at 6:58pm. They pulled the signs inside, locked the door, and no one came to help us until after 7pm at which point this associate said they closed and couldn’t help us. We explained our situation, and The manager said that we would have to come back in the morning and be helped. I am NEVER returning to this location! We were there before close and were not helped. WORST SERVICE EVER!! Don’t go to this location if you want prompt, professional service.
We had an associate who did not listen to our questions about our new phone and became very impatient with us.He kept darting away to talk to people coming in the door, even though there were other salespeople in the room. When we asked another question about how to use the phone, he got really angry, took off his mask and came around from the protective partition to yell at us, like he wanted to expose us to whatever virus he might have. Then he turned us over to the manager who did explain what we needed to know. This associate should not be working with the public if he has anger management issues. All we wanted was to know how to use the phone, as we had requested when we ordered it from the sales rep., and the rep assured us we would get all the help we needed from the store.
We came to get new service. The team here was very rude. When we initially came it was about an hour to closing. They put us in a queue system. When they told us it would be over an hour, we said ok and said we were going to go get food. We came back before the closing time to the doors locked. The guy who checked us in was VERY rude and told us they were closed and shooed us with his hands. We tried explaining the situation through the door and he just walked away. When his manager came out she told us they couldn’t help us even though we arrived before they closed.I will never visit this team again. A terrible experience and Verizon should be ashamed to employ them.
Absolutely horrible customer service. We were trying to add another line to my plan of 7 lines already and when we got there they mentioned there was an hour wait. We said we would wait. Two couples walked out and 20 mins went by. There were multiple reps just standing around and no one approached to try to help us. When we approached a rep to let them know, they said they were waiting for other appointments who were already late to their appointment. If I could leave a 0 star I would. Will be reaching out to corporate because this is not the first time this has happened!
I would give it NO stars at all. Your guy “greeting” at the door is terrible with people. Giving attitude and not very customer friendly. Would not recommend this location to anyone!
Worst customer service experience of my life. I sincerely hope this company and establishment goes out of business. I wish I could give them even less stars.
Very helpful and quick to respond
Not happy that were not open and I couldnt find another location on the Northside
Could not help with the problem. My son did it all by phone while in the store. Not very knowledgeable about their product.
Worked with Sharday over the phone and she was lovely. I received great service at this location. I was in and out. They handle business here.
I am not sure what the problem is - corporate policy or employee inertia, or both - but I received next to no help with my recent visit, with nothing more than repeated references to their processes (which are apparently indifferent to the customer experience). There did seem to be minimal effort or at least empathy, which was particularly distressing since I was there (at Verizons direction) to disconnect a deceased loved ones service. It is the most obstacle-filled process I have had to endure in dealing with his estate, which is ridiculous. I have been required to sit through the phone process, then told to come in with the death certificate, and then told I have to call AGAIN to disconnect (Im on hold after being transferred three times as I write this review). We also brought in phones to trade in and were told take them home and mail them. And then before I left, I was asked, how else can I be of assistance? I am not a snarky person, but this was baiting.
Worst location ever! Rep had no idea what he was doing. Condescending and was cursing. For spending as much as we do for 8 lines with all new phones Im very disappointed. Absolutely ZERO customer service skills at this location.
Got in quickly and then waited on a bench for my turn. Very proffesional service!
Gave me a lot info, nice service. I love it!
Way understaffed. Only 4 customers, I am number 3 and I have been sitting 30 minutes.
Even with all this Covid b.s. I was met outside, scheduled in, and got in relatively quick. Marco was my sales rep. Even though it was close to closing, he was patient and thorough. Never had an iPhone, so hopefully I can learn how to use it.
I went in to purchase a new phone, however they added device protection to my account without my authorization and after repeatedly declining any additional add ons and services. Now I get the joy of trying to remove the service for $14 a month that is difficult to do through the app. Fortunately I keep a close eye on my bills and identified it but Im sure Ill still have to pay a partial charge for the time the service that I did not authorize, repeatedly declined, and did not ask for was placed on my account the same day I visited the store to purchase a new phone.Edit* Updating to three stars as after leaving my initial review someone from the store reached out to me and was able to remove the unwanted insurance and ensure I would be refunded. While having the unwanted service added to my account was frustrating, they were quick to address the issue and correct the problem.
Gave me the exact information I needed and number to call to get myself taken off my parents cell plan.
Checked in on My Verizon for my appointment and sat in the parking lot for 45 minutes and no text that it was my turn to enter the store. Maybe this store’s employees need to pay more attention to their customers instead of watching what’s going on in the Burger King parking lot next door
Angie is by far the best! Very helpful!!
I dont generally like to leave bad reviews but this was an awful experience I dont want anyone else to encounter. The sales girl sold us phones that she said were in stock, but then when she went in back to get them, one of them(the one we told her we really needed) was not. We asked to purchase phones that were in stock and she said it was not possible as it would take 3 days to cancel the order. So, we waited for them to arrive in the mail and they never did. I called in for help and it took 2 calls and many hours to get one of the two devices remaining. I have been working for two weeks and have spent at least 7-8 hours on the phone trying to resolve this issue and have been told its resolved and my device is coming multiple times by Verizon representatives. It has not arrived. I called back in today to talk to a manager after 2 hours waiting on the phone, the manager informs me that the third device was not on order and that Verizon would not be honoring the promotion because I am not meeting the offer requirements that I made sure to ask the sales girl about. I shared with the manager that I have been told multiple times by multiple representatives that the promotion was good. She apologized that I had been misinformed by their representatives, but that they were not going to stand behind what their representatives sold me. This is the WORST customer service that I have ever received anywhere. If I could give it zero stars I would. If you are in the market for a phone choose a different company. We have been Verizon customers for a very long time and their customer service continues to decline. Every time we go to order new phones it get a little worse. I am ready to switch carriers. This is so sad they used to be a such great company.
Probably the worst customer service experience I’ve had. Disappointed to have moved my business services to a company who’s employees could care less about helping with anything. May be time to make a switch. Would highly recommend using another location as this one is probably the worst in Omaha.
Quite frankly very upset with the store. They had signs outside the front door and it said please wait here for assistance that was great except its someone came out and basically informed me that they had no phones at this location and suggested that I go across the street to Best Buy or Nebraska Furniture Mart and view the Verizon products there and make my decision.
The wait time is trash .. Jason was great fixed my myverizon that was broke for months
Busy, long wait, but helpful associates
Best cell phone company
They helped me out greatly, I needed a new tablet and phone and as Im not tech savvy they helped greatly
This people is rude... for me 0 starts
Absolutely useless. The Verizon app doe NOT communicate with the store. Ordered a case & a screen protector, was told to come pick it up, went there and waited. After about 15 minutes a staff came out and asked me to park in another spot. Waited another 15 minutes, called the number for the store and got someone at a call center who knows where. Waited again and called again, this time getting a message that the store was closed. Cancelled the order to get a refund, went next door to the electronics store to get a case and a protector, and was out in 5 minutes. It seems they just wanted to close early and go home. Everything with Verizon is automated and online. The only chance you have of getting an actual person is by going to the store, but that is no longer an option. If they dont want to serve customers, move out of the building so it can be used for something else.
I had to stand outside for about an hour and a half just so my phone could update. They told me it would fix the problem with my phone even though i had originally went in to get a new one. My phone is still broken and they told me to go somewhere else to buy a phone because they didn’t have any in store. I am going back today with the same broken phone that they couldn’t fix to see if they can actually tell me what’s wrong with it this time. I am very disappointed and hopefully I will be able to get a new phone today.
Excellent....
New customer went to the store couldnt go in having issues with my phone some customers were let in others werent. In the future could you please let everyone know by email, text or the Verizon website that all transactions, issues will be handheld online instead of waiting in the cold hoping to get in the store..
I was disappointed that I came in their body new phone for my daughter in they wouldnt transfer the information from her old phone to her new one lack of customer service will not be back
I was helped today by Brittney and she needs some training on how she treats customers and training on her attitude and not being polite and helpful. I will not ever go back to this location. I would not recommend her at all!
Tried hard not to go to this store, but since they are the physical store I received my phone from, I had to contact them directly. Calling the store was a fail, so I gave the store a shot. The store previously sold me a phone with a $300 promotion, but I never received it and the online customer service couldnt help. Due to Covid, they make you wait outside lined up in the parking lot without any chairs. Not sure how that works for people who cant physically handle standing or when it gets cold soon. I waited outside over an hour and others have said the wait times go up to 3 hours. You can see inside the store that employees joking with each other are in no hurry to serve the next customer. I dont expect good customer service from cell phone companies, nor do I like leaving a negative review, but this is getting bad.Edit: While they did not completely resolve my issue, the staff member Darnell and manager Aaron were professional and appeared to at least care about my problem, so I will give them credit for that. I can only imagine how many upset people they deal with daily, so I feel for them in that regard.
Couldnt fix my problems in store and was on hold forever.
Wait times are completely unacceptable. The employee helping me was unfriendly and literally walked away from me and completely disappeared. I left the store without closure, eventually figuring out the issue on my own. Ill be changing providers shortly, after 16 years with Verizon. Not that they seem to care.
Dyjuan was so helpful! I had lots of questions about switching plans and he must have tried 4 or5 different plans just to help me figure out what is best for my family!
Worst service ever, I signed up for BYOD on the website and 2 days after received a sim card and came a little bent and when i installed got bent more and the my phone wont read it, anyway I went to this store and i talked to manager or assistant manager and i explained my situation and refused to give me another sim card because Verizon cant lose money even i told him i would pay for it and then after that he was a 100% the my phone was bad, what an unprofessional crew they have!
Worst store ever had an appointment they canceled just sucks
Pretty good, typical Verizon store, normal wait times of 10 to 15 minutes. Overall, this is a larger store with a number of employees and floor space, and given that it is located in the middle of the city, expect that there will be people there at all times. I will say that the employees that I work with were very reasonable and assisted a good deal in helping me get the best prices / promotional deals. Dont expect special treatment even if you go in person, but expect the standard of service Verizon is known for.
Employee was very pleasant and had alot of good info on what I needed to know. No pressure at all in purchasing a new device. It was nice just being able to browse without intimidation.
We went in today to get my wife switched over to Verizon. The whole experience went so smooth. Emerson helped us and did a great job. He talked to us about each phone. Gave us options. Went over promotions. But he wasn’t pushy while doing so. Probably one of the better experiences we have had in a phone store.
Their social distancing rules are way over the top. Dont go if you dont need a product. Staff was friendly. The problem was corporate policy.
Fast
Pretty okay, buuuuttt they tried to up sale me a LOT and for any charges other than my PHONE and PLAN, I had to ask about. They didnt tell me why my total was what it was, until I asked. Which, I suppose thats what theyre supposed to do. The staff were very nice:) so, thats why Im giving them 4 stars, very close to 5 though. I wasnt there for too long, since I knew the plan and phone that I wanted, but I was a new customer so I guess it took a little longer than normal, but their service was great:) Overall, it was a pretty neat experience:) I saved money as well but only because I knew what I was looking for and what I didnt want in my plan. So maybe research on their website first, then go in and get your deals:)
You need to have chairs outside for people, who have a hard time standing.!!!!
Very busy location
Maybe you should update your website to say you have to make an appointment.Your customer service sucks.
I Went to get a phone, very poor customer service, no effort to try and make a sell and provide proper information. They’re lucky enough I even got a phone from them. At the end of the day I was the one that activated the phone unlike 2 years ago when I purchased my phone from there they made sure everything was fine and working before I left
Very friendly service. Explain everything in detail and work hard to answer any question someone might have.
I attempted to come in on 12/13/20 to activate my new iPhone. The guy at the door was zero help and I left in frustration.
Went to pay Verizon bill, one of the auto payments machines did not accept my check. After 2 tries success. I thought they just remodeled that area, what gives??
My sister is is the primary on our account, unfortunately shes incarcerated, so I was told we cant help you I asked if I could get my own account, and was told yes, but Id have to get a new #. Ive had my # for 21 years! Low and behold, I went directly across the street to Best Buy. And after 3 hours, I have a new account, new phone, and same#! Best Buy bent over backwards to help me, unlike the Verizon Store!! Ill now take my buisbusi to Best Buy, instead of this Verizon store! Go to Best Buy, theyll help you better than the girl that helped me!!!
Marcus made everything easy to understand. Now I know why Ive been with Verizon ever since Ive had a Phone!! Friendly People and great service!!
They went out of their way to help me. Only reason Im giving 4☆s and not five because nothing is perfect and its always room for improvement..
I live near here so its the main store I go to for (lack of)service, for many years now. I have yet to have good customer service and the wait times are crazy. Makes me appreciate the good customer service everywhere else. Mcdonalds treats me like royalty compared to this place.
Great store with a wide selection of smartphones and other technology. When the store is busy there can be a bit of a wait to speak with a sales associate; however, all employees are very helpful and friendly. They are available to answer any phone plan-related questions. I recently switched to Verizon from another carrier and am very satisfied so far!
Pretty much worthless to have an in-person store if you aren’t allowed inside and are directed to call customer service from your car.
Very helpful employees & usually pretty quick to help you. Unfortunately I have a Samsung phone & am on my 5th replacement phone in less than 3 years due to them losing their capability to function properly, not due to anything Verizon nor Ive done, just bad phones! So Ive had to visit more often than I care to, but they always order me a new phone unlike my prior carrier (that started w/an S & ended w/a T) whod spend hours trying to fix it & wind up ordering me a new phone after leaving me w/out a phone for the day & not be done every time Id stop in to check on the status!!
We recieved the absolute BEST customer service from Corey Potter. He went above and beyond to help us upgrade our phones and to ensure we had the best plan for the money we were paying.
Verizon great service in Vegas at the Red Canyon when most had known. I still do not believe you should have to pay such outlandish prices for phone service. Customer for years and still no good deal. Customer service end tech support great but, that still does not bring down cost.
Three stars because I hate having to wait every time I come in... this last visit was to upgrade my phone... the fellow who helped was pretty good... Ill always come to this store vs conducting my business by calling in, just wish they were better at not making people wait...
Came in to get a print out of my statement because they cant email me one, they can only snail mail me one. Waiting in line for over an hour so someone could look up my number and hit print.-update-I switched to sprint and saved $93/month, got a brand new phone, and they paid off my remaining balance on my Verizon phone
Dan and Darnel helped me and they were seriously amazing. They went out of their way to make sure I was getting what I needed and were very patient. Yes you have to wait a few minutes but do you really think you can just go in and get a new phone and expect it to take 5 min? For everything they do they’re really efficient and super helpful. They always checked on me and others to make sure we had been helped and answered all my questions.
Ridiculous service. Sent us out early to set up our phones and after 8 hours of going through customer service we find out we can only do it at the store. Horrible service
Somehow a replacement phone that I didnt know was ordered was mailed to me, but at the wrong address. It took awhile to get the 650 removed, but when they understood my situation the manager credited me the money to my account. The individuals who work here are great. Remember to communicate fully so they can provide best service. Great team!
Just bought my Pixel 2 XL. The guy that helped me out seemed like he didnt want to be there at all. He wasnt knowledgeable about the product or any product support for the phone. However the reason Im giving this 5 stars is because the next day when I went in to talk about getting a case, the other dude that helped me was incredibly nice and even grabbed like 10 cases from the back just to show me even though I told him I was just looking and not buying . Super dope dude.
Ask for Cathy. She is amazing. I have had no problem with that rep. Took care of all the concerns I had and helped set up my phones. Was able to help me find the best deal for the two phones, and gave me the price of my first bill almost to the T (off by maybe $2).
The lady that helped me today was awesome! However the night before when I picked up my new phone and was told they dont activate new phones ended up being a nightmare. I had nothing but problems and if they would have activated my phone there it would have saved me the headache and the traveling time. I had to go back a second time because they said my sim card was no good. If they had of activated it there that night I would have had a working phone that night instead I had to wait after work the next following day to go back and get a new sim card. Poor decision on letting the customers activate their own phones.
Get run around just to cancel services
Corey is the best! Got my wife and I a great deal on new phones. Very thorough and professional.
My phone was broken so I took it in. When I explained the situation to the greeter, they just handed me the insurance brochure and said Id have to file a claim and have a replacement shipped. I went home and started the claim but couldnt complete because I dont have a printer at home. The next day I went to the store around 130th & Dodge by Hy-Vee. They had me sit down, explain what happened, offered to start a claim for me, printed the forms, helped me finish the claim I started, then continued to explain that if I had been helped to begin with it should have only been a $30 same day screen replacement. Instead, its a $200 phone replacement.
I was behind another customer in line and I witnessed some of the most unprofessional customer service Ive ever seen.
My girlfriend and I went to get her a brand new Note 9. She was nervous because shes never had a nicer phone and wasnt sure about all the features. The girl there was so nice and really knowledgeable about the Note.It was fast and even the manager came over and made sure we were doing ok. Definitely going back when its time for my upgrade!
Rep answered the phone and hung up without saying anything. No answer on call back. I guess I will give someone else my money.
Jake took the time to bring a couple of old customers up to date, assisted us with enthusiasm and professionalism seldom seen these days.. his listening to our questions, was remarkable. Thank you jake, and the team at Verizon on dodge street in Omaha...10 stars
I always feel very rushed during the visit. Im not always sure I got what I asked for or that Im paying.more then I expected to. If their pay is based on commission maybe satisfied customer should be part of their pay.
SERVICE WAS GREST AND MY PROBLEM WAS SOLVED BY MARCUS.CODY AT THE72DSTREET LOCATION WAS HELPFUL PREVIOUSLY AND HE IS ALWAYS PATIENT WITH OLDER PEOPLE LIKE ME
There is always a really long wait at no matter which Verizon store I go to. This particular instance the employee was unhelpful and snippy. I went in to transfer data from one phone to another, and I was told I could only do that from a secure network like my home. I wasnt upset that they couldnt help me so much as the employees always seem like theyre just finishing a 16-hour shift and they just want to go home.
I highly recommend going to a guy named Emerson at the Dodge Street location. He was very knowledgeable about my phone and helped me through everything. When it was all said and done he did not fix my phone but was more than polite and helpful to get me another phone. Honestly, I hate going into cable and cell phone stores but this guy made it quick and easy!
Their service was terrible.I was told they are going to help me setup my new phone with case and protectors that what they made me believe and once everything was done they said they wont put on the screen as they are wearing gloves. Last year when I bought my first phone a year ago they said as I pay off my device my phone was going to be unlocked but when I inquired today they said Verizon never unlocks.
Exceptional customer service. Extremely helpful!!! Short review as my experience was exceptional!
Best experience was at Dodge location. Recommend that you ask for Victor. He is Extremely knowledgeable and helpful; always pleasant and easy to deal with. Victor has been with the company for years and cares about his customers.
Rude and didnt care about my concern. I would have purchased a new phone if they acted as if they would have at least cared. Just do yourself a favor and go nextdoor to Best Buy like they suggest up front anyways.
I dont like Verizon. This is my third phone that has gone belly-up with them in the last 2 years.
The man I interacted with is very helpful and informative. He made sure I got everything I needed taken care of. And it was done in a timely fashion
