30$ cheaper diagnostics than the guys out in village point. They helped me figure out why my gaming computer was shutting down intermittently. I brought them an old high performance rig, and they cleaned it up nice, figured out the issue, and got it back to me in under 5 hours from drop off. Thanks guy.

After having a horrid experience with one of their competitors I called Special Touch -- well named! Literally having put up with months of excuses I finally broke with incompetence experienced elsewhere, I explained the issued in need of addressing and mentioned that the bar they would have to clear was laying on the ground to be an improvement! Evan came out the next day -- took my computer with him after checking it out -- and BROUGHT IT BACK THE NEXT DAY WITH ALL ISSUES ADDRESSED!!! I took a laptop that had various issues in to see what it would take to get it fixed. The shop was very quick to diagnose the issues and present my options. I approved the repair and then asked that they upgrade the hard drive to an SSD and thats where the trouble began. The computer had a 1 TB HDD in it and when I picked it up for some reason they only replaced it with a 120 GB SSD. This made no sense to me at all, I was told that since their wasnt many files on the hard drive thats all I needed. That should be for me to decide and it seemed like common sense that you would replace a 1TB HDD with a 1 TB SSD. When the computer went in it had Windows 10 Pro and it and it came out with Windows 10 Home. I asked that they put the laptop back in its original shape and I asked for a refund. They did that without argument. Overall, I would recommend going to another computer repair shop.

I had some issues with booting my PC and couldnt figure it out for about six months. Really beat my head to a wall about it but I finally decided to take it in. Since computers are very important in all aspects of our lives; at home and work. The Special Touch Computer Repair business did a diagnostic test and called with the problems. They had me back online quickly. I would tell others to trust their services.

I had a great experience. My laptop battery died and had to be replaced. Since it was an internal battery I took my laptop to Special Touch to have itreplaced. They ordered the battery and quoted it would be in as late as Monday but it ended it up coming in sooner. Therefore the turn around time was quick. They called and said the battery was in o. Thursday I dropped off my laptop Friday and got it back Saturday. The service reps were friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely go back for any other computer needs.

Special Touch did a great job getting my PC up and running again. I needed a new DC jack as mine had bent/broken, and while the direct replacement of the jack was not possible, they were able to replace the motherboard and get things working again. Had a custom desktop built here and I couldn’t be happier. The service was excellent, the price was more than fair in my opinion, and they did a tremendous job. Liquid cooling, RGB, multiple hard drives and graphics cards, everything. They took the parts I gave them put it all together and started it up. All I had to do was plug it in. I’ll never go anywhere else.

Theyre the best. Im really not good with computers and going to their business was the best thing I couldve done. They gave me advice on what kind of software would work best, and honestly I would highly recommend people to come here for issues or advice over computers.

I migrated my data from old PC to new. On the new one, the default Outlook couldnt access the pst email files, I didnt like OneDrive as the default storage place, and didnt like how my migrated files were many clicks away. I wanted to avoid OneDrive and Office 365 subscriptions the new PC wanted me to use. Robert understood. He enabled my Outlook 2010; it took a couple tries but he remoted in to my system and got all old and new emails running on it. Also showed me easy remap to quickly get to my files, and gave good advice on moving to a different email provider and backup service.

Had a problem with my desktop computer not powering up. Thought it might be the power supply but I didnt know. I brought it in for a free diagnostic at 11 am. Got a call within an hour verifying that it was the supply and they could repair it parts and labor for $99. They called back and I picked it up at 3 pm. They will be highly recommended by me.

Special Touch is an accurate name for this computer store. Robert built me a super fast bulletproof Dell laptop 2 years ago that still rocks. Follow his advice and get a better working system for half the price of retail. LOVE the solid state drive so much I had him install one in my old HP. He worked his magic, got rid of all the viruses and a once useless paperweight is now super fast and my kids use it for video editing. THANKS!!!

I brought in a laptop with a broken DC jack. They gave me a quote and ordered the part. They were in constant communication about what was transpiring. The distributor sent them the wrong part, which isnt their fault. After it was installed, diagnostics revealed further shorts throughout the motherboard. Computer a total loss. At the end of the day I was only charged for the data transfer fee, which is as it should be. My situation sucked, but I felt like STCR did everything they could under the circumstances.

These guys actually do know what they are doing. I had serious power issues on a custom built PC for months. I took my system to a different repair shop in town only to have them tell me my PSU tested fine and the problems were likely related to my motherboard. A quick google search on my motherboard model and I found others that had power problems but nothing that matched my symptoms. I took it to Special Touch and they confirmed and gave me options to replace my power supply and it has been working perfectly since.

I became the unlucky purchaser of a new low priced HP laptop at the start of last year. Just through normal usage, the motherboard gave out recently. I went online and saw the great reviews here and decided to try a local perspective on repair options rather that using Geek Squad as I had done in the past, and glad I did! Robert was fast responding to my situation, and offered an option for replacement which was better and less expensive than anything I could have found through online or retail channels. Ive had a problem with my laptop for a week. It was switching off few minutes after turning on. I found special touch through yelp and emailed them. Robert responded to my email promptly and explained the possible problems. I took my laptop the next day and they fixed it in on the same day! So happy that I got my laptop fixed so fast. Robert explained that something was blocking my fan and preventing it from spinning. They gave me a $20 discount and I paid $85 including tax. I recommend them to anybody who is looking for good service, in short time and with reasonable rate!

Special Touch was great. I took in a very old Dell model, running on a very old OS. Robert cleaned up, added additional RAM, and a new OS, and I CANNOT BELIEVE THE DIFFERENCE. Robert did some work for the company I work for and he really did a great job for them. He was mentioning that he had personal computers available, we purchased one from him. I was having some issues with my business laptop and needed it fixed in a hurry. Its a little older and I was sure Id have to get a new one. If you have a business and your computer goes down, you understand how this can drive your stress level through the roof. Special touch is very near to my office, but I had never been in before. Robert, the owner was great. He got my old laptop up and running and all cleaned up by the next morning and gave me some tips on what I could do to keep it going with less trouble.
