Great staff! They helped narrow down selections by asking what look I was going for. (The VanDyke chimney sweep, Zoro, or Robinhood). Then the pointed out the three sections of the store; there is a for sale general halloween costumes and a higher end costume section, and thirdly, rentals. After looking through the costumes for sale I asked to see the rentals. A staff member took me to the rental section and oh the rush of the feeling of being back stage for a play. The staff member then helped size and fit me to the Robinhood costume I had finally decided on. All charges are upfront and clear. There is no refund for early return on rentals so make sure you have what you want before you sign the rental agreement. Great experience with top notch personalized costumer care.

If you would like to look better than usual for your Halloween party, then I suggest this place. They have rentals of legitimate costumes above and beyond the things you would normally get from holloween stores

Really awesome shop. The staff was super helpful and happy to help. The costumes were cool and they had a variety to choose from. The prices varied anywhere from $30 on up. I would definitely recommend this place for any costumed event!

They seem to have really good prices for nice quality items. Went in with a friend today and noticed a lot of things Ive seen elsewhere and online for much more money. I will be going back for any future costume needs.

Ibsen carries costumes for any occasion. They offer rentals for events and theatrical productions, as well as straight sales, alterations and special orders. Great service and variety for such a small, out-of-the-way shop!

Very rude lady there. She gave me attitude since the first moment she asked what I needed. Like you are being an inconvenience type of attitude. And she blamed it on me because I was not providing enough information to help me get a costume. That was the reason I went there in the first place! I did not know what color I wanted, or what suit size I wear! I turned around and left.

This place is great. I drive past it all the time (as do many in my neighborhood) but today I stopped in for the first time. I was greeted by a woman named Sherry. Notice that I said greeted. This has never happened to me in a Spirit store or a Halloween Express. She asked me if I needed any assistance, and was patient and very helpful while I asked her a million and one questions. I told her I wanted to look around, explained what I was looking for and she let me browse, but then checked back in with me a little later to see how I was doing. I guess Im so used to going to stores where Im thrown a recited Welcome to ______.... as I walk in, and then being ignored until Im ready to check out, that I really was pleasantly surprised. After that, Sherry was kind enough to walk me through the store, showing me around while she explained the different sections. She even let me take home a list of their available rental costumes. The fact that she took the time to do all this blew my mind. As for their inventory, the costume selection is great, and they also have a wall displaying all the wigs they offer. Sherry informed me that they operate year round and often supply costumes for local theater productions. They clearly know what theyre doing here. I will definitely be coming back for my costume needs from now on - not only because the service is so great, but because Ibsen is a locally owned Omaha business. The pop-up Halloween stores that show up in September and are gone by November 1st are not here to help out Omahas economy. Shop local and shop Ibsen. I will be.

I did a phone call and I was asking for a specific musical costume.The lady on the phone, put me on hold for a little while . she personally want to go check to make sure they had the exact costume that I wanted in my size

And Im done shopping here. For the last three or four years every time Ive gone in Ive been treated poorly by the same snarky, very unpleasant woman. Also, too expensive.
