I could spend hours in hobby lobby I love the beautiful decorations and the big variety they have of everything its a fun store to look in and they also have bargains half off a lot.

I walked into the store excited to give my dear friend a gift that I got from India. I had not thought it through but I wanted to turn the pillow covers into pillows. The lady in the fabric area stopped to help me but pillows were not going to happen because of the handmade fabric and size. She suggested to frame them. I went to the frame department and I was greeted with a smile and a offer to help. We ended up framing the pillow covers and they were beautiful. The young lady stopped what she was doing and helped me. I am forever grateful. My friend loved her gift. Thank you!!!

The store was well kept. Well staffed. The only thing I do not like about Hobby Lobby is the isles are not marked to help you locate items you are looking for. So unless you ask for assistance you have to wander around looking up and down every isle hoping to spot the item youre there to buy.

Couldnt find wall size stencil their website claimed was in stock and available at this location. Also searched the entire store for a small bottle of etching cream the website listed as available at this location on a card rather than a shelf. I didnt find it anywhere in the store either. Very frustrating!!! I drove all the way to this store and it was a waste of my time!

You want it? Theyve got it! BUT...Good luck finding it! The place is HUGE!However, find an associate, they are friendly & helpful & just ask for directions & theyll just take you there, with a smile! 👍

If youre a kid at heart, youll find that hard-to-find airplane kit u remember glueing together as a kid. Prices are reasonable so share your fun memory and splurge; buy that same airplane model for your grandchild for no particular reason....maybe shell even ask u for some assembly help. I still remember my grandma stopping by the house 🏡 just to say Hi and then showed me a box she was hiding behind her back. Surprise! She said as I was so surprised just to see her on a Summers day when she and grandpa were usually long gone towing their Silver Air Stream visiting their favorite National Parks and showing us their home movies of everything they saw and all the random people they met. Very exciting to listen to their stories as a kid but can understand the constant eyerolling going on between my parents. Anyway, she wanted to say goodbye for the summer and gave me this box. It was a Mr. and Mrs. Potatoe Head. Not a board game or a groovy 4-door 1957 Chevy Bel Aire, two tone candy apple 🍎 red and white. With red plaid interior that I dreamed about. It was a box with glasses, a moustache, 2 sets of lips and ears. All u needed was 2 regular baking potatoes. I was very happy to see her and had a chance to thank her and told her I loved them both 💓 and bring back movies of waterfalls please. And off she went. Hmmmm, I found 2 potatoes and put the mustache on the Mrs., with the eyes and ears in the wrong place. I didnt get it. But it was the thought that counts. I put the potatoes looking all weird in my brothers room with the box. He was 6 years older so I was ready for backlash but none came. He had put together airplanes, old classic cars, The Mummy and a cool Frankenstein. He actually kept Mr. and Mrs. PotatoeHead as I left it for him....guess it passed his test of was it cool enough or weird enough. We never mentioned it. I was happy he seemed to like it. So Hobby gifts will always please ❤️.

Picked out a frame last week for a painting I finished. Imagine my surprise when the painting had no wire hanger on the back (it’s a heavy frame) and no brown backing paper to finish the back. I had to completely dismantle the painting and fix it. Whatever happenedto Bill at the Hobby Lobby East store. Great framer

I have been shopping at Hobby Lobby for years. It’s a store that I could spend hours in just enjoying looking at all the tools I use for my current hobbies and ones I’d like to try.However, my most recent trip a lady in the back department where they mount canvases took it upon herself to follow me through 4 isles. She wasn’t even trying to hide the fact she was watching me. I’m not sure why given I’ve been in this store at least 4 times this month alone. I’m not sure if she was following me because I was young (though she appeared to be around my age), or because I didn’t look like I belonged in the store, maybe I had too much stuff I’m not sure. If she was watching me like I believed she was she would have been able to piece together that most of what I was buying was 50% off but whatever.Also, what appeared to be the manager, dressed in a Lavender button down shirt made his rounds to keep an eye on me as well, 4 separate times. I won’t continue to shop at a place that honestly uses its religion as an excuse to have morally skewed views and practices. I also won’t continue to give my money to a place that can’t have the decency to respect that I go to work 60 hours a week so I’m not going to steal when I have my hard earned money. My parents raised me not to steal and to work hard for what I want. I also work at a jail so please tell me why I would steal in the first place?I’ll be doing my research for other places to get my supplies but today was the last time I’ll be shopping at Hobby Lobby. As a black person I’ve been followed around stores, the ENTIRE mall, and at Barnes and Noble my sisters and I had my bag searched as another lady walked out the door along with us but they didn’t ask her to open her tote bag. I’m done being watched while I’m trying to look around leisurely. All because this doesn’t seem like a place black people frequent does not mean we are there to cause trouble abs my age doesn’t not determine what you think I might do.I’m so disappointed. If all else fails I’ll order what I need online... seems to be the only way I can get some peace of mind.

My favorite place to spend a day!

Today I found bunnies for my table ! On sale ! Woo-Hoo. I had priced some at Pier One but bought here at Hobby Lobby ( different bunnies) The sale price was $19 each, but they are detailed and tall, ( must be 14 inches if not a bit more ) so nice it was worth it all the way !

I took a Christmas present to get a wire installed so i could hang my wall decor. I was told by the guy in framing they dont do that. Ive been to other locations they do it no questions asked. So now i have to drive to a different location miles away. I called the elkhorn location they said absolutely we will. I will never shop at this location ever again.

I go here for their yarn. Otherwise I dont shop here due to their religious views..

Thoroughly enjoyed the variety of decor available. I was pleasantly surprised by the prices, there seemed to be sales at every turn. Favorite purchase was a childrens sized elephant water can for my flowers. $2 if I remember correctly (on sale.)

This is a small shop that caters primarily to model RR and rc cars. The aircraft selection is limited and primarily military. Guess if I want civilian model models and accessories I will have to look online.Although I was the ONLY customer the worker seemed less than enthusiastic to help me, Im guessing because of my appearance. Their loss as I am looking to build my scale airport. I wont be returning. SAD SAD SAD 😥

Nice store. Comes with everything youd expect from HL... Aka just about anything you could want for decorating, art stuff, and more typical hobby stuff like a limited train selection, models, and stem toys. Also, customer service is pretty good. Staff actually talks to you unlike a lot of big box chains.

I could not find what I was looking for. Customer service was not very good by the lady standing at the door. She seemed put out when I asked what I was looking for. I tired to find someone else for help with no secsess.

I go there at least once a week. One of my favorite stores to shop and browse thru! Whether its art supplies or kitchen holiday towels, yard decorations, I can always find a nice variety of everything! And the coupon is a great plus!

I enjoy this store, it has good customer service. There is a great variety crafts and materials. From materials for school projects to decorative and creative ideas that you can come up with.It has a lot of materials to work with, including some antique looking items for awesome video shoots, canvases, flowers, scrapbook, to girls jewelery crafting and whatever you can come up with.

Today two very talented artists walked into hobby lobby in Hopes to purchase new equipment necessary for their latest project, I had the PLEASURE of accompanying these gentleman. Immediately we were targeted. Upon entering there was a manager standing by the doors, we were not greeted in any positive manner, rather judged upon the color of their skin.I think I am the only one who noticed, as they were preoccupied with their long list of supplies.We proceed to shop for the art supplies we intended on purchasing there with real american dollars! Until aisle for aisle and at least 3 to 4 employees were circling around us as crows do over death. Ashley is the one that really caught my eye though, so I followed her around a few aisles and stared at her as if she wasnt human and on the way out leaving our items behind we notified the manager who was still in position manning is post of security about the racial profiling that took place. Also that we would be taking our money elsewhere. Is this how you normally expect your employees to conduct themselves? It is EXTREMELY unprofessional, un-American and just disrespectful.Today two very talented artists left hobby lobby in Hopes to find a new place to purchase all of their artistic tools.

Poor customer service with cashier, assistant manager, manager, and store policy. I bought black foam board the week prior that was 40% off and wasnt given the discount when I returned shopping for other items I requested the discount on the foam board I didnt receive i presented the receipt to cashier who confirmed my purchase and then discussed with a manager that they couldnt give me the $4 refund because I did not bring the foam board back with me to prove I purchased from there. Which both the cashier and manager agreed it was on the Hobby lobby receipt but the item is a generic item so I couldve gotten it from anywhere even though it states on receipt that I purchased it from there. Smh. I then proceeded on I had picked up items while there that day which was a Friday that I wanted to purchase. I found a few cute things on racks and bins (with the other matching items) clearly marked 40% off, I love bargains. I even read the small printed exceptions on the signs Ive had this issue at hobby lobby before. I was not given the advertised rack price because I was told this is for the sale that starts on Monday mind you this is a Friday and the sign is already up and promoting the items for the discounted price. Instead of honoring their misleading information because its retail and customer is right i was met with a dismissive attitude from the cashier, asst manager, and manager. I was made to feel as my black dollars did not matter and that they could care less than to rectify the situation as the 2 older white woman managers walked away from leaving the teenager to deal with me. I grabbed my keys and left and went to Michaels where customer service was A+. DO NOT SHOP THIS HOBBY LOBBY!

They have a lot of nice ideas for St Patricks day and Easter craft and decorations. They are finally making the fabric department more accessible and accommodating for customers with walkers, wheelchairs, scooters and strollers. This has been a needed improvement for a long time. YAY!!!...now if Hobby Lobby corporate would be willing to invest in say 3 scooters(especially for the med /large stores), that would really be helpful for the shopping independence of their physically challenged /walking disabled patrons.

Came in for custom framing service and had my two kiddos (a chatty 8 year old and not so patient 20 mo old). Lynn was incredibly patient and helpful with them and myself. She helped me find the right frame while taking into consideration cost and personal style. She talked with my son and asked his opinion to keep him distracted and let him help put away samples. So grateful for great customer service and kind people.

Obviously Hobby Lobby is wonderful! I love this place! Its my go to for party celebrations, decorating, and crafting! They have huge selections of almost everything which sometimes makes the decision more difficult, but you can get exactly what you want! My biggest piece of advice is to hold out for a sale, because they rotate through departments they put on sale. And ALWAYS look up hobby lobby coupon for 40% off any one regular priced item! I love a good deal!

Hobby Lobby is probably one of the best places for crafts. They have more items and selections than Michaels. However, they have not updated their system where you can scan each item, employees have to remember item codes or type each item in manually. Also, they dont have the best judgment as a corporate business, which affects my desire to go there.

I like Hobby Lobby, but its obvious that they have gone full on religious since the Obamacare and birth control debacle. A lot of their home decor is religious now, as you can see in my picture below.The craft supplies are good and very affordable, especially the paint and canvases.

The staff was available to service just about all needs. Everything was wiped down and ready for use. It wasnt busy I dropped off a framing project. They said it would take a few days to complete. This place is DIY and home decor dreamville. You can personalize any type of ideas here. They have all my wall decor wishes and when on sale, the price is right. Got a life sized wall/floor mirror for less than $100. All types of yarn for my needlecraft hobbies. I can spend tons of time in this store.

Its always clean, but yall I just go straight to the clearance. And maybe sometimes look at other full priced items but honestly some of the gadgets and stuff feel cheap for the price youre paying. Id prefer to thrift and upcycle furniture, but then I might come here to get the supplies for that. Like paintbrushes. Staff is always very nice!

My family has a running joke that if you are coming to this store for only a couple of things, you are very likely to leave with twice as many items - or more! Prices are good and items are almost always in stock. Store is clean and parking is plentiful.

Had a gift card and went with my mom. Found tons of fun things 75% off. Yard and house decorations. That smell gets me every time. You know what Im talking about!
