My wife and I love this place! The ladies who own this place always put a smile on our face! Stopped in today as a treat for our wedding anniversary and they were so kind and just being in here will brighten your day!

Wandering into this store has been one of the highlights of my trip. Great products, fantastic vibe and super friendly staff! Loved this place.

I really enjoyed popping into this shop while passing through Omaha. The ladies that work there are a treat and were wonderful to talk to.Their crystals and stones are beautiful and are not your usual variety. I got a few Ive never heard of or seen before.I liked the selection of pashminas too. Not super vibrant colors, but more earthy tones, which I love so I snagged one :)I hope I find myself back in Omaha again.

I was taking a small group of middle school girls shopping in the Old Market and we stopped in here. The ladies working the counter were very friendly. The girls enjoyed the merchandise and everyone found something they liked.There is a sign on the door about no photos allowed which seemed odd in this day and age where people snap photos of any and everything. Perhaps they dont want you window shopping in their store and then buying it online.

Everything and everyone you could ever hope for is still here at The Lotus. The folks that work here/own...you know, this is one of the best things I can say. The folks that greet you, help you, chat you up are spectacularly warm and so open arm inviting. Youd think they must be the owner. Maybe they are. Who knows or cares. But they treat you with such warmth. Imaginarium levels of investment in making your stay a good one.Anywho...the clothing is fantastic which makes this a must stop in store. We walked out with the prayer flags I needed, my partner got a beautiful summer dress and another dyed shirt. These dyed shirts are on a rack towards the front. Soft, clingy, so beautiful. Do not forget to pick up some Nag Champa, its legit and thats hard to find.I am sitting here writing this review with a big smile on my face. Its that kinda place.

Absolutely a cute shop with exactly the items I was looking for or that spoke out to me. The ladies working there are extremely kind and wonderful.

I always check to see if this shop is open whenever I’m in the area just because the ladies who run it are always incredibly sweet, and I always leave with some new incense. I told a friend about it and we came by while we were in the area the other day, and he agrees. Thanks for being such kind people.

Always a treat to visit, last time i went the amazing person working there gave me and my friend samples of a incense named “big _____” ... i forgot, but! it smells absolutely wonderful and made my whole room smell like creme brûlée for hours. i’ll definitely be purchasing more next time i come in!

I greatly miss Lotus. Moved to east coast in 2014 to take care of my mom. When I lived in Iowa, a trip to Lotus in Omaha was a wonderful day. I miss visiting with owners. God bless them muchly.

Native Omahan. Came back for dad’s 90th birthday and can never leave without visiting the Old Market— Lotus in particular.The items here are chic and casual and will complement every lifestyle. Purchased a flowing 3/4 length top— one of a kind!Friendly and welcoming shop owner who has the store laid out perfectly to see tops, bottoms, jackets and all kinds of accessories, easily.

We are traveling the country in an RV and had the chance to visit Lotus while staying outside of Omaha. You will find an eclectic mix of clothing and other unique items. We came in expecting to buy nothing and left with three Christmas gifts for family members! The true highlight was meeting and talking with Laura Lee, the co-owner. Not only was she very friendly and fun to talk with, she also gave us many useful pointers about places to visit and eat while there. She really should be running the Visitors Bureau!! (Thanks for the traveling Budda. It now proudly sits on the dashboard of our truck!)

Great store. Wonderful selection and quality. And, amazing knowledge and service. In addition, salesperson struck up a conversation, was interested in me, and made me feel very welcome and valued. Next time I visit Omaha, Ill definitely be back! The employee (owner?) should be commended; they made the store.

Their website says they are open Sundays from noon to six. Drove all the way from Lincoln to based on this information to buy a Christmas present. I get here and the store is closed. They may want to make sure their website is current and accurate for customers.

So sad to see this shop has closed! This was my go to place for incense for over two years, and it was also just a nice place to browse after roaming around the old market. The cashier was very friendly and always had some great suggestions for new incense. This little shop will be missed! ❤

Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. I loved their Super cool and unusual bags, scarves, and hats. They have things that one might find elsewhere, maybe for less, but you have to consider location and tourist foot traffic when looking at prices in boutiques like this. Just as a reminder - no pictures!

I always see the little shop when driving through the old market. Today I had some extra time so I decided to stop in and check it out. I am so glad I did. Not only was everything adorable and I wanted to purchase everything the 2 women working were very kind and easy to talk to. I would suggest to anyone to take the time to stop in and check it out!!! Im currently wearing a pair of pants I bought at the Lotus over 15 years ago. Their products are quality and ethical and the store vibe is inviting and warm. Even though I live in NYC now, when Im back in Omaha I make a point to see the exciting things the Lotus has to offer. Spend your money at a community gem rather than a corporate super store and visit The Lotus.

I was in there back in February and prepaid for a t-shirt and shipping that was out of stock and have yet to receive it. I try calling the store and no one answers. I live in St. Louis and am running out of options to get in contact with them. i click on poor for rating so not sure why it comes up 5 stars

Incredibly rude! i was holding items i wanted to buy in my hand and saw a shirt that i thought my mom might like. i pulled out my phone and wanted to take a picture to send to my sister. she rudely greeted me saying how until i buy it i can’t take a picture of it?? i tried to explain to her i wanted my sisters opinion before i bought it and i was given a nasty attitude and mean looks. she also asked that i give my items back to her until i check out. as if i was going to shoplift. this place is rude and left a TERRIBLE first impression. do not go here !!

Came back to purchase items we saw Saturday, only to discover they are not open posted hours. Totally disappointed.

They open at 3pm every day! Neat stuff!
