Great atmosphere and service. Its a perfect place to take your SO out for a date. I setup a reservation beforehand and they had a great spot for us at the window. We spent the night people watching and enjoying ourselves. The food was good too. We will definitely be coming back.

A unique dining experience in the heart of Dundee. One of the best outdoor seating experiences Omaha has to offer. Mark’s atmosphere is different than what you would expect as its perched above Jambo Cat on the second floor and overlooks Dundee.

What a gem! Classy and intimate, with a neighborhood feel.We had the Brussels sprouts, which I order any time I see them on a menu, and they knocked my socks off. Nice thick cut bacon chunks...just beautiful.We also had the charcuterie plate, which was very tasty. This offers the chefs choice of 2 meats and 3 cheeses with accoutrements that were perfectly paired.I didnt have wine today, but they have a large selection that I plan to peruse on a future visit. My friend had an iced tea.The total for our experience was +/-$26.

They have a great variety of pantry items from around the world, and a great selection of wines.

Ive been here once with a group of six. Its kinda quiet so if you have loud drunk friends, you may want to ask them to behave. The food and ambiance are incredible. Their dessert is good too. Perfect for small groups and romantic dates.

My husband and I went here for date night. Its a cozy place with a beautiful view of Dundee. The patio seemed nice but it was full. We shared the brussel sprouts appetizer, it was quite yummy. I had the vegetable risotto and my husband the steak, both of our meals were delicious and the right sized portion. Service was great too. Would highly recommend!

The place was cozy, and the service was great. My dishes look good, but they were way too salty. I thought it was just me, but someone I went with said his was salty also.On top of that, my risotto wasnt cooked evenly. The top was overcooked. The bottom was undercooked.I really was disappointed, especially, after I was the one changing our team lunch to this restaurant.

Fantastic ambiance, the patio also looks amazing (for warmer weather). The food is fine cuisine, but at a very reasonable cost. We were able to eat for 2 with apps, main courses, bottle of wine, and shared dessert for just under $100

The Mac and Cheese is life changing. Combine that with the ambience and attention to detail from the staff and you cannot go wrong.

Marks vibes with me in every way possible. The setup looks awesome. Its cool patio is smoke free and tucked away in the recesses of Dundee. The bar shines and the staff attend to patrons every need.There are great vegetarian options.The drinks seem reasonable. I ordered iced tea. The refills were plentiful.The food tastes exactly the way Id hoped it would after reading their well written menu.I got the bistro tots to begin. They looked freshly shredded. The crisp outsides crunched as they gave way to a delicious center with hints of rich sour cream. The taters paired together with a Gouda fondue. The cheese gave new life to the tots.Next I ordered the chicken lasagna. Blissful.Last up was dessert. The smores brownie amazed me. The charred marshmallow on the graham cracker crusted brownie lit up my eyes. Were I a more bashful person I would have been embarrassed.Overall this place will be visited again many times. I say its a must try.

Figured I should come back through and change this review since it is no longer a restaurant.Fear not though, this place still rules. Probably the most well curated selection of fine pantry items available in Omaha. Their selection of gluten free pasta is outstanding.As always, the wine selection is phenomenal and the staff has consistently spot on recommendations. I would highly recommend bringing some food, buying a bottle, and enjoying them on their patio on a nice evening.

Great place to relax, sip and eat.

This was such a nice experience. It is definitely expensive, but worth it. I had the carbonara and the cheese plate and it was excellent. The staff was very patient with the children there. The building itself was beautiful. Very nice upscale lunch or dinner spot.

Ive been going to this restaurant for over 8 years. They have good vegetarian and fish entrees. I havent tried any of their meat dishes but my understanding is that these are also quite good. Years ago they had a very good vegetarian Reuben sandwich but it disappeared from the menu when they changed chefs. They also have excellent desserts.

Long standing Dundee staple with a great room overlooking Underwood Ave and a talented group of chefs that are always creating new and exciting dishes. The upstairs party room is one of the best in town for 20-25 people and the servers are always attentive and well trained with the menu. Good wine list. Great place to go for date night!

One of my favorite places in Omaha. The food is always good. We enjoy taking out of town guests there any time of year, but on cooler days in the summer the patio cannot be beat. Good drinks. Always professional staff.

Awesome patio to have lunch or dinner over a bottle of wine. The menu options are limited but the quality of the food is good. Try their famous mac & cheese. I have always had attentive servers when I go there which is a big plus.

The service our waitress Julia provided was superb ! I had the Salmon and it was served over gnocchi, cooked perfectly. With asparagus on the side. My friend had the Flatiron steak ordered medium, but was more well. She ate it all though ! We had a bottle of wine our two entrees, two small salads and dessert. We split the bill and paid $55 each before tip.Marks has a very nice atmosphere.

What an awesome place to get together. Coworkers and I had a fabulous time during a going away party. The appetizers were terrific. However, I ordered the salmon with asparagus and my salmon was dry and over cooked as well as the asparagus. Other meals appeared to look good. Atmosphere was very festive. Perhaps because the waiters kept our wine glasses full all night. ;-)

We shared the small plates (sliders, tacos, and noodles). All were very good. Service was also good. Prices are comparable to ither restaurants at this level. Large wine list. The atmosphere was fantastic! We were outside on a beautiful evening, except for a few sprinkles. I think the best outdoor dining atmosphere in Omaha.

Great service and ambiance. All 5 of use tried something different and everything was fabulous. Hopefully they will make the pork flatiron part of their regular menu. It was one of the best meals weve had anywhere.

It was girl’s night out and we decided to try Marks. It was a delightful experience! We sat by the windows and watched the scenery until dark enjoying our amazing food and service. I had Cop Au Riesling, a chicken dish, and my friend had the flat iron steak. Both meals were delicious! Can’t wait for nicer weather when we can sit outside on the deck. What is not to love about this place??? Not only are you seated above the rest (for people watching) their patio in the spring is wonderful! Their are such wonderful happy hour specials and the appetizers are so yummy. Love the fondue and the pumpkin ravioli!

Atmosphere was nice. Make a reservation and dont show up early. You will be waiting in the bar which was fine for us. Small bar area though. Bar tender was great. He new the menu well and was able to describe the dishes. Pay that boy more!Duck was fantastic. Wife had the chicken lasongna. She didnt car for it. I thought it was okay. Daughter had the sliders and was satisfied.Waitress was excellent. Attentive but not overly so.

Where do I even begin? Having my wedding at Marks was like a dream come true! Mark was AMAZING to work with and we had so much fun planning the wedding. Classy & elegant atmosphere coupled with the most delicious food & beverages. I could go on & on..it is difficult for me to articulate just how wonderful everything was. This is truly one of the most special places in Omaha but the PEOPLE are what really stand out. They take so much pride in what they do. It is now three days later and I still cant stop smiling. Such a JOY, we will never forget how beautiful the day was. We can not thank Marks Bistro enough! ♥♥♥

Nolan was our server and he was very kind, attentive, articulate and fast. Very accommodating. The atmosphere is very cozy and the patio is gorgeous. The special was on point and even the coffee and dessert was like Disney Land in my mouth. My son, Mark, even enjoyed himself.

Favorite date night restaurant in all of the Omaha area. Food and service are always exceptional--(kind of the point in going out, isnt it?) Its great to go to a place where you know youre going to consistently enjoy every aspect of your dining experience, regardless of who happens to be serving you. We love to sit by the windows and see the Dundee area thriving.

First time here. Confusing on what door to go in downstairs or walk up the stairs. Service was super slow. Very noisy but seemed like a nice place. Stuffed mushrooms were bland no flavor. The wifes French onion soup ( her favorite ) ( and the woman loves salt ) it was so salty she couldnt eat it. My lobster and scallop risotto was under cooked. The rice was hard. The wifes Cuban sandwich was a good flavor but very thin. She also got the tots for a side which were burnt. She left them on her plate and they gave her chips instead. Pretty disappointing was hoping this would be a good experience.

Always good! Marks is a staple in midtown for a reason. Everything is done well. Last visit I had french onion soup, the shaved sirloin sandwich & fries...and loved it all!

#localspot first time here tonight. Small but varied menu and course selection..duck options to Mac n cheese and so many flavors in between. Including many vegetable options. Decent wines & cocktails. A nice find. Come eat.

The food was great and the service was awesome. We had no reservation and came in at 4PM. Service was just as good as dinner rush. Be warned that the cheese board is small and the deserts are huge! We ordered a desert for each of us but one to share would have been more than enough!

There is simply no better place in Omaha. Marks is hands down the best around. From the boards to the chef specials you wont find a place that puts as much love as marks puts into everything they serve. What should you order? It doesnt matter because EVERYTHING is delicious! That being said, try the smoked chicken lasagna or the tenderloin, two of my personal favorites

My mother-in-law and I ate here on a Saturday afternoon and had a wonderful experience! It was in between the lunch and supper hours so it was mostly empty. They had beautiful Parisian-style music, the server was attentive and the food was delicious! I have Celiac and they were very knowledgeable and I felt safe eating here. They have various gluten free, vegetarian, and even vegan options. I highly recommend Mark’s Bistro!

Love Marks Bistro! I had my bridal shower in their party room and it was so beautiful and cozy! They did a great job of making sure we had everything we need and took great care of us and they did that with out hovering. All of my guests had a great time and we loved the food and wine! I highly recommend this place for any bridal shower, baby shower, birthday or even just a fun night out! I just warn that there are a lot of stairs leading up to the bistro itself and even more stairs to get up to the party room and their is limited parking in front. I still give them 5 stars though because the food was great, the room was lovely and the staff was very kind and accommodating.

We love to eat at Marks for special occasions. The food is delicious, we usually have yummy leftovers for another meal, and the service is excellent. The hardest part is choosing between so many favorites.

Marks has always been a top choice for a nice sit down atmosphere. They have a beautiful patio area available for outside dining. The menu is excellent. I particularly enjoy their macaroni and cheese. Service is always excellent.

An outstanding establishment in Dundee, Marks provides an excellent menu that combines modern takes on classic comfort foods with more delicate fare. The atmosphere is relaxed, but not informal, and is suitable for dinner with friends or an intimate date. Perhaps reflecting the tastes of many Nebraskans, some of the dishes can be a little salty (especially if youre used to dining in cities that are more health conscious), but overall the seasonally changing menu provides a good range of dishes. Generally, the menu features more than one vegetarian option -- something hard to find in Omaha! Marks is a great place to have dinner and drinks before you head downstairs for some good jazz.

Excellent food. My fiancé and I chose to eat here on our anniversary and it was just the type of food and atmosphere we were looking for. The 50% off bottles of wine on Tuesdays is a great deal.However, the service was rather slow. Our server was clearly overtasked (not his fault) - in addition to having multiple tables he was also the bartender. We waited about 15 minutes for our dessert and we could tell it had been reheated. It seemed like they were understaffed.Hopefully this was just an off night - again, the food and atmosphere were fantastic.

Marks has great service and a really nice outdoor space, as well as a beautiful interior. The food is hit or miss, but usually a hit. The specials are the way to go.

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. We waited for our food over almost 2 hours. Waited for initial drinks for over 45 minutes when all we ordered were salads and appetizers. What makes matters worse, there was a hair in the salad. The waiters did not try to accommodate us during this experience and essentially ignored us. No compensation was provided. The restaurant claimed they were busy but we were the ONLY TABLE INSIDE. Skip this place, customer service is terrible and wait was not worth it.

Ned was super friendly and helpful, talking my date and I through our martini options. We shared the Mac and Cheese appetizer, which was delicious, then I had the duck ragu and he had the whiskey steak. Both were devine. Would recommend if you are in the Dundee area and want a nice classy dinner.

Went here for lunch on a Saturday and not quite as busy as I thought it would be, so thats a plus, our food was amazing along with our server Jeanette. I appreciate that they state where they get their local ingredients and even grow some of their own.

We went here for a birthday dinner on a Tuesday night. There was no wait to be seated, the staff was amazing, the food was great, and since we sat by the window we had a great view of Dundee. It was amazing!

Was having a birthday party at the Jazz bar down stairs and I was told that you can eat Marks at the Jazz bar. I did have to go up stairs to order and to pick up my order. Although they are neighbors they havent yet worked out a convenient way to work together. They didnt answer the phone either. So, I missed 20 mins of the party. None the less, it is amazing food, the burger was great. The Chips are really good and home made. Over all Id go back any day of the week.

Molly was our server and she made everything enjoyable. Helped us with our choices. The chicken lasagna was a favorite and desserts were had by all. Pumpkindonut holes a treat.

Always a favorite, especially when it is patio weather. Marks is a great neighborhood treasure, and worth the drive from across town. 9 times out of 10 the service and food are top notch, but occasionally I have caught an off day; however nothing to stop me from returning frequently.

I used to work here and not only is the food some of the best Ive ever had, (try the lasagna), but the employees are THE most professional people I have ever worked with! I guarantee you will be treated like gold when you eat here. Also check out the jazz lounge right below it when youre done with your meal. Live music every night.

Outstanding food, staff, and atmosphere!

It was mediocre to good. The chicken thigh sandwich tasted like it used frozen chicken which killed the meal for me. The macaroni was good though. It had blue cheese, which I dont like, but it wasnt overwhelming like most dishes that include blue cheese.
