I cant believe I didnt know this place existed for so long! It is the best little spot to grab ANYTHING green. They sell so many grains, spices, beans etc. But they also have amazing products like reusable bags, straws, cotton pads, you name it. It is such a fun store. Only terrible thing about them is that they arent open on Sundays which is sooooo annoying since that is the day I like to grocery shop to be ready for the week.

Ive long been looking for a way to support local businesses while practicing eco friendly habits, and Exist Green allows me to do both!! Im so excited about the bulk selection of soaps, dried foods, jars and tins. This is such a wonderful place.

Hands down my favorite shop in Omaha, so unique and cute, really loving this zero waste idea! The staffs are very helpful and I love how you can buy fresh produce in very small amount. Had to try the new black raspberries they are so delicious!!

My favorite shop in town! Love being able to reuse my own containers, or if I forget / buy something new they have great options provided without charge. Super reasonably priced for just about everything!

Awesome store that sells eco friendly, use and re use items, plus refillable items such as we soap, makeup, food items (tea, beans and more)The owner is friendly and personable and happy to chat about the items that she carries.You will not find coffee beans here however as there is a store nearby you can get them. She seems to work wth her community so there was no need for crossover.She mentioned willing to do talks and such for groups wanting to learn. Also she was looking into doing a pop up in the summer where they provide food from a local chef. Sounds like some interesting things will be happening here in the future.The store itself is neatly organized with a clean aesthetic.They are open every day except for Monday.There is free Street parking available in the front. Did not notice another parking lot.

Fresh produce, dried goods, beauty products, and reusable items such as metal straws, silicone lids for jars, food containers, etc.Don’t forget to bring your own refillable jars/containers when shopping. The owner Leigh Neary will give you a discount! 🎉 She may have some containers available to use at the store from people who have donated their extras (this may have changed due to COVID).When you arrive, she will sanitize your containers and weigh them (zeroing out the weight of the container). She has a menu readily available at the counter to shop in-stock food items.Our favorites are the mushrooms! We love oyster, king trumpet, and her newest item... CHICKEN OF THE WOODS😍 We made fried chik’n nuggets with them and they were so yummy. In a recent visit, she had a zucchini/butternut squash hybrid in-store and we made a mash with it as a side with our nugs.Leigh is very friendly and truly cares about her small business. She is honest and very knowledgeable about what she sells. We have been customers since November 2019 and will continue to support this small business❤️

I visited “Exist Green” on a road trip traveling from Chicago. It was a very clean and welcoming atmosphere. The products were ones I wasn’t used to, I was assisted by one of the staff members and she explained the purpose of the products and also noted that this is a step by step journey. It has resonated with us and we are thankful. Try the reusable dish towels!

Its pretty eye opening how many green alternatives there are to the normal stuff I buy. The owner was really friendly and helpful. Ill definitely be back!

The reason Exist Green is perhaps the best shop in Omaha is because it provides opportunities for its patrons to think creatively about how to live more sustainably. This has improved my quality of life because it feels better to consider the impact of my consumption, and I save money in the long run. The staff is very friendly, and the products are high-quality and reasonably-priced.

So many great products in this store and all sustainable and eco-friendly with 0 plastic in sight! Food products, beauty products, and tons of DIY options. Super friendly staff who answered all of my questions. I am just so happy to have a store like this so close. They make it super easy to take personal steps to live a greener life!

One day these types of stores will be everywhere, but for now, theyre a one-of-a-kind gem that fulfills an urgent need in Omaha.
