Great place to do business with. Easy in and out. I rented a trailer for the first time. Their dump trailer made the job of unloading so easy. I wont do it any other way again. I buy mulch there every year. This time I needed some crushed limestone rock for a sub-base for a paver patio. Good quality materials. They make is so simple to get what you want without having to wait. Clean and organized!

Very helpful and friendly staff. I rented one of their dump trailers to haul rock. While they were hooking the trailer up for me the lights didnt work. They quickly diagnosed the problem to be a corroded flat 4 connector on the truck. Instead of saying tuff luck, get that fixed and come back. They got out the cleaner and a pick, laid on the ground and cleaned my connector for me. I know this is a simple fix but something they didnt have to do. Not only did they fix it they did it with a pleasant attitude. This attitude was shared by all the employees I interacted with this day. Excellent customer service all around.

Go here instead of big box stores. Way cheaper and no mold like you find in the individual bags you buy at the big box stores. Best for trucks or if you have a truck bed or you can rent a trailer

Im not sure who the people are leaving these bad reviews... But thats absolutely NOT been my experience the Maple 85. I had one situation a couple years back and Todd, one of the owners, called me immediately to resolve the issue. Tried repeatedly to give me a refund, but I refused as I know how he and his wife, Kris operate their business. With quality products, quality pricing and QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE. Any time Ive come in with a question or request, theyve ALWAYS tried to accommodate. They are a high producing nursery and are very busy at times. Its really not their fault if they are undermanned. Most people dont want to work these days and thats the problem with employing people WHILE operating an respectable, reputable business. Do things happen? Sure! Do they do their best to render the issue? ABSOLUTELY! I offer a rock to throw at their glass house, to any one of the bad reviewers. Sincerely - The Lawn Father

Poor customer service, I placed an order and was on the phone for over 30 minutes verifying everything. The young lady did advise she was new so I was very patient in confirming everything. I called to confirm my delivery and I was told my order was pushed out a week later. They did nothing to honor the order so I guess their business is booming because customer service is lost at this company.

Excellent selection of landscaping items including rock, dirt and stepping stones. Easy to work with, postive helpful attitudes and competatively priced. I rented a hauler once and it really helped me move dirt and sand to the work site location.

Originally ordered 3 yards of mulch, instead got only 50% of it. Raised my concern to the management. They did not do anything about it. Double and triple check your purchases! Very disappointed!!!Customers beware of this place! As I mentioned before double and triple check all your purchases! First of all I was never offered to view the footage, that is a lie already! Second 3 yards of mulch usually is equitant to 36 bags of mulch, which I definitely did not get!Owner was rude and unprofessional!!!Very disappointed that I wasted my time and money here!!!

Spoke with Melissa to schedule a mulch delivery after being referred to Maple 85 by Dee-Sign Landscaping and Garden Shop. Melissa is super-helpful, patient, kind and sharp! She helped me calculate out how much mulch I would need and was was over the top great at scheduling and making sure that everything would be done exactly the way I want it. I think it was the best customer service experience I have had all year. Maple 85 is lucky to have her!

Todd and Kris are great people who pride themselves on customer service! As well as making sure their staff do the same! They sell great products. I typically buy a lot of rock and mulch from them and always recommend them to customers. Very hard to find a business that will do a drop delivery for you same day! But that’s the kind of people they are. Lots of places in Omaha to get landscaping material, but you won’t find a more knowledgeable staff! And prices to match!! A+

Michaela helped us avoid buying the wrong soil (and far too much) for our project, thereby saving us a LOT of precious time and money...this place rocks. Its not only the absolute best deal in town, but still offers small town care and service, too. Rare find.

I have been coming to them for years. Mostly for River Rock and a Compost Topsoil Mix and sand, well mulch also. Great people. The owner Todd is always around to help and keep and eye on things which makes a huge different. He is very focused on the customer. Really thrilled they have now opened a Rock Yard which will be highly convenient. I have not had a chance check it out yet but the samples look like all the types of cut rock for borders and natural stone retaining walls I need. I like how they treat their customers. I have had plenty of opportunities over the years to observe.

I ordered the 50/50 (Top Soil/Compost) mix. What I received was a mixture of compost and silt (no doubt from a flooded farm field). You can see the sand in the mixture. It leaves a crust on the top of the soil and almost nothing I planted into it has grown. If I could give a Zero I would. BEWARE!

When my wife and I moved to Omaha about 5 years ago, I started buying mulch from another company. I was disappointed in the quality of what I received, so a few seasons ago, I started looking elsewhere. I found Maple 85 and have never looked back. Their prices are competitive and their staff has always been top-notch, courteous, and professional. This season, I opted to have them deliver my order instead of my usual two round trips with my truck. Upon delivery, I was concerned that the pile in my driveway was not the 4 cubic yards I had ordered, but much less. The driver, who was friendly and courteous the whole time, suggested I call the office while he waited. He assured me that the boss himself loaded the order and used the 2 cubic-yard bucket twice. Kris assured me the same, noting that the Eastern Cedar I had ordered often compact during transit. I took their words for it. After I finished spreading the mulch this weekend, it was, in fact, the coverage I was expecting when I originally placed my order. Again, their knowledge and professionalism came through. Whether I continue with delivery or return to having my own truck loaded, I will always get my landscape products from Maple 85. They are what small businesses (and large) should be.

I had a terrible day long experience with their delivery service. This company ended up refunding the product that I did not receive, but charged me $45 for a delivery fee, when they did not deliver. The driver himself said he would definitely do it, but that he had been told by the company not to.However, I just had this job execute by The Yard Market. They did the job right, the first time, for cheaper. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for better price s on product, better work, and better customer service.

Absolutely amazing service today . Saturday they close at 3pm, however I wasnt paying attention and showed up at 3:20. They opened the gate and helped me even though they didnt need to; I was ready to come back the next day to get my mulch. Everyone was so nice even though I showed up after closing. Will always be a repeat customer each year.

5 star service, I have a very steep driveway and the driver managed a huge truck with no problems. Other companies were not willing to drive down the driveway. I have used them more than once and will use them again. Fast service and nice people.

Price and service is great. Whether a small project or a large one, the smiling and warm staff is there to assist. Have not found a better place to get mulch, dirt or salt for the winter months. And now they carry river rock and such. One stop and I am done.

This is such a great service! I have used them twice to buy bulk mulch and pea gravel for my garden. It is amazing how much cheaper it is to buy in bulk than to buy individual bags at a hardware store! The workers are friendly and the deliveries are always on schedule!

The customer service at Maple 85 is exceptional. We had soil delivered and there was a problem--- the company could not get their truck to our backyard where we had hoped to have it delivered so the delivery guy opted to dump it in the middle of our driveway. Unbeknownst to him, he had trapped my husbands car in the back driveway. I contacted Kris, one of the owners, about what had happened and she immediately solved the problem. She sent out a contractor to move the dirt for us within the same day. I was very impressed with the companys response; they could have told me it was my problem and walked away, but they did not. Sometimes, you really see how great (or not) a company is by how they deal with problems for their customers. This experience has sold me on this business--- we will be back and I will pass along their name to people I know. The soil is high quality and the customer service is exceptional.

My experience here was awesome. They didnt calculate correctly what i needed but i figured it out myself. I came here first just to calculate. They were very attentive to my needs. Then i spoke with my friend about my 50/50 dirt. Then a week later i was ready to put my dirt in my truck and they didnt spill a thing but i did feel like the guy who got my yard of 50/50 gave me about 85% of my dirt. His tractor was not full. They told me they rent trailers but they were unwilling to rent one to me toward the end of the day. They wanted to charge me $50 to deliver $75 worth of dirt. The woman I spoke with had a flippant attitude. By the end of the conversation she was very curt.
