After discovering that the sound post in my new violin had fallen out, I looked up violin repair in Omaha and was thrilled to find a shop so close to home! Alex was incredibly kind and helpful, repairing the sound post and even tuning my violin while I admired the beautiful array of instruments lining the walls, and he even set me up with a lovely purple music stand :) It was wonderful being able to take my violin home and play it right away, and the experience was made all the better by meeting a pair of expert craftsman who were clearly passionate about their work. I cant recommend this shop enough!

I stopped in off the street to have my beginner Stentor 2 looked at. I wanted to ask a few questions & see about better strings, rosin, etc. & also ask a few beginner questions. Having never been to the shop before I wasnt sure if they did minor work at the drop of a hat or not, or answered newbie questions. I was NOT disappointed that I choose Violins of Omaha. Alex was VERY friendly & receptive to questions. He set my violin up with an new set of strings & even went through a series of professional steps adjusting the entire instrument! He also got me a good quality rosin, & even set me up with a shoulder rest, which I hadnt even thought of. After all this work my beginner violin is so much easier to play, extremely comfortable & sounds great, which makes practice very enjoyable for me. I highly recommend Violins of Omaha & I will definitely go back. Thank You!

Excellent, timely, and affordable

We rent a cello for my child’s elementary orchestra. I can not say enough good things about our experiences!!! From the friendly and knowledgeable initial interaction that led us to rent from them. To the quality of the instrument. Another great aspect is their willingness to go above and beyond when the cello was damaged, in order to get it fixed and back to us in time for classes after winter break.Highly Recommended!!
