We ordered a closet organizer, which arrived at the store after a little over a week. Not bad. When I went to pick it up, the box had broken open and the corners were damaged. So they ordered me a new one. That one also took a week and arrived in worse condition than the first one. Same issue with the box breaking open during shipment.Customer Service was nice about it and and we decided to get a refund rather than have a third shipment arrive damaged. We were told that shipping damage has been happening more often lately. Home Depot needs to get this fixed. We wont be buying anything from them anytime soon. I have no problem with the local customer service people, they try, but they have to deal with bad service from their suppliers.

Horrible customer service. Horrible return policies.I ordered 3 accent chairs online from Home Depot. 4 hours later my wife points out the exact same chairs are $75 less per chair with free shipping at Wayfair.The chairs have a delivery date 3 weeks from the time the order was placed.I contacted Home Depot.Home Depot will not cancel the order.Home Depot will accept the return of the chairs, but I will have to pay almost $600 in return shipping.Home Depot will not price match. It is selling the same chairs as Wayfair and using the same pictures, but because Wayfair has a different name for the chair Home Depot will not honor its Price Match Guarantee.What a scumbag company.......

Every time I go there, it reminds me that I dont like going there. A return that tops should have been a half hour, took 2 hours. Menards is a class act. HD should take notes.

All depts were good and helpful except by kitchen cabinets. 3 people literally sitting around and only said call the office or make an appointment to help with ordering cabinets. I went across the highway to menards. They were swift at helping and 25 minutes later I had a floor plan and able to maneuver at home. Went back couple days later and ordered my cabinets,paneling,doors,and shower. Very frustrated with Home Depot this time.

I went there to look for Ryobi products and they were out of many of them.

The staff was helpful and they even let me use a tool real quick without making me pay the loan fee because I didnt need to leave the parking lot with it (I was fixing my trucks hard cover hinge).

It was a different experience contacting Home Depot letting them know we were their to pick up our order. First time to use the app. Chris was a very personable employee while putting the item into our truck. It was great not having to go inside the store. A fantastic service. Thank you.

Staff are ALL so helpful, even if youre in the plumbing isle and ask about tools, they either know, or will take you to it. They have probably the best variety of anything i shop for.

Who Loves tools? Who Loves cool stuff that makes life easier? Who Loves people who give good advice and not afraid to say I dont know? Thats why it Love- 5 stars for HD Orange- I find it relaxing when its low pressure shopping or just wondering around Home Depot for ideas to do around home is a great break from work, kids, and even a half day vacation when purchasing for a big project. They make it easy. Its Simple. Its fun, so its therapeutic.

Cashiers at service desk were very nice, super helpful.

Worst customer service Ive ever had and Ive spent a lot of money at home depot only to be disrespected. Very condescending attitude and very rude. Even told me if I like Menards better to just go there. Never in my life have I been talked to like that by someone in customer service. I will never spend another dime there and by their attitude they could care less. Unbelievable times we are living in.

I got handed off to person to person and then told to go to customer service where this young punk came right out and told me yeah, I dont know. Im not sure I can help and wanted to send me back to the desk which sent me to him. When I got mad another person came over and she pawned me off on someone else but at least it was the right person. Now, that person started off very rude but then became helpful. Ill stick with Menards.

They have decent products all in all but I’m currently standing here waiting to get down an isle. It’s been about an hour and nobody has come to tell me it’s going to be a long time or said anything to me or asked if they could get something for me. It’s ridiculous and I used to work for Home Depot. Guess Menards just got a new customer.

Be wary of having appliances delivered. They will drive in you yard and leave big ruts and when you call the store to complain they do nothing but say they will call the delivery service and have them call me back. 10 days later and 3 additional calls to the store and still not a call back.

Getting to be one of my favorite places.

We went to Home Depot looking for flooring for our kitchen. The people there were exceeding helpful to us in finding and explaining the different flooring there. We also were able to find a few other things that we are planning to change in our kitchen. We are very great full for all their help and patients with our shopping trip.

Fantastic customer support from Dan in La Crosse, Wisconsin! We were camping in early August when our camper bed broke. We needed to get three 3/4-12 inch boards cut to 25 length to fix the bed. You cant buy boards in lengths of 25 and we didnt bring a saw with us. A nearby competitor would not cut boards for us. Dan at Home Depot was extremely helpful in locating the type of boards we needed and cutting the board to length for us. Literally saved the camping trip! Thanks Dan!!

Ok....Two young males were polite and helpful...Young cashier gal was polite. However, on our way out we were asked to show a receipt---just 20 feet away from the cashier.

I love the THD, I HATE THD website. I honestly dont understand how such a large company can have such a slow website. It doesnt matter what computer Im on, or phone, it is painful to use even though it has very useful features. Basic searches are impossible to do if there are too many people on the website at the same time. You have to pick and choose when to be on. Normally its flawless around 4 in the morning. Im really hoping by the time Im done typing this, I grab another beer, and piss, the website will be working again. Not gunna hold my breath

Even though there was only one girl working curbside service and I had to go inside to pick up my order, they were very apologetic and I understood why no one answered the phones. The employee took care of me right away and gave me what I ordered. I even scored some Red Fresno Chile pepper plants that I couldnt find anywhere else while I was there. I have no complaints. Thanks for the friendly service from the greeter to the customer service employee to the garden center cashier.

Tou Vang in the appliance dept. was fantastic. He was very friendly and helped us in ordering a refrigerator. The lady on duty in that dept. could have cared less if we were in the store or not, let alone if we might be interested in purchasing a $2,000. 00 item.

I dont like giving a place four stars when it really is just about my favorite place to shop. I dont use home depot for their lumber or seasonal offerings so my guess is as good as anyones where those departments are concerned. What I do buy at Home Depot and foresee making future purchases of include things like, tools, mobile tool storage equipment, cabinet and chest tool boxes, truck tool boxes, ladders and hardware, lighting and locks of all kinds, paints, tape, adhesives, fasteners, tie-downs, ratchet straps, automotive chemicals, furniture, appliances, grills, and, oh yeah... My favorite...power tools. They carry three or four of the best name brands of cordless (as well as the corded counterpart) power tools. If you are a deal hunter like me than you can expand your collection to include more than one brand so when the debate springs up, wherever you work, as to whether Milwaukee or DeWalt are better, you will be able to rid all of their insecurities with your assessments of both teams pros and cons. Lol. and with package deals and a great clearance section perpetually tempting me, my collection was extensive and grew often.I love Home depot for many other reasons ranging from the eagerness and enthusiasm of the staff (who for the most part have always left me feeling very well attended to.... To the professional parking area under the awning and the sense that my money is respected and value. For example, a couple years back I wanted to buy one of their garden sheds and hadnt factored in shingles and other small costs which brought my total to around 300 more dollars than I had. I had already. I asked the department head if there was anything she could do to reduce the cost and she said only one person would be able to adjust the materials down to within my budget. She went and got the store manager and after a short while, he was back with her in front of me with me at the customer service desk and figured out a very clever way to get the cost down to what I could afford and that without breaking any company policy and he got me a credit card approved where I was certain my credit barred the possibility.To summarize...I get a bit of a thrill every time I get to shop there.

I went in to get some mulch. Although there was no problem with the service, I did not feel very welcome by the clerk. I went in less than an hour before close but I didnt really have a choice as I had just gotten off work myself. Having worked in customer service for more years than I want to admit, I understand that at the end of the day, people just want to go home but she could have put forth some effort. Anyway, I paid for what I wanted and went out to load it up. I was getting bags of mulch. At no time was I offered assistance with loading my car. I find this kind of surprising. I am very happy with the product. And the price was competitive.

Its a smaller store. Things not in store can be shipped from other stores, and it can arrive in 2 days. The last two times we bought appliances there the ladies that helped us were very supportive, helped us search, and find all the options. People are what make the experience great. I wish there were more nice, hardworking, patient people in the world....

They had the EXACT riding lawn mower we were looking for, and it didnt cost us an arm and a leg. I was so surprised! I expected their prices to be much higher so we almost didnt even go there. So glad that we did!

Staff has no clue as to where anything is. Its not just this Home Depot its all of them. Poor management or lack of training. Ive had staff walk away and never return. Also an associate in a department that knew nothing about their area. You are better off ordering online.

Curbside pickup was very easy to find. Staff were fast, friendly, and very careful with the fragile materials I had ordered.
