I had broken leaf springs, my usual mechanic couldnt get it done so they took care of me. Best shop and customer service in a long time. Definitely will be returning.

All the reviews are legit, this is probably the best car shop in town. Very reasonable, they do not nickel-and-dime you, and the customer service is pretty great (which is VERY rare for auto repair).I like to do some DIY maintenance/fixes on our cars, and they dont sneer or look down at you for doing so. The best part of my experience at Luke’s was that the super friendly front desk crew brought out and showed me the old worn down air filter, break pads, and belt that all got replaced. We went to Luke’s because of their history of being honest and fair. This is no longer the case, as unauthorized work was completed, no cost estimates were given and work unrelated to the head gaskets was done, again unauthorized. Upon discussion of the work that was done, there was no flexibility given. Very poor communication from them overall.

It was my first visit to Lukes and I was impressed with their service. I contacted Lukes through their website and communication throughout from scheduling, to the repair estimate, to work being completed was prompt. They will call and you can receive texts also. I needed a tune-up, rear wheel bearings, and rear break work and its been a week and seems to be running great.

I thought it was going to be a couple hundred dollar repair, but they found the cause was much cheaper. Happy to have the good news. Ive been using them for a couple years and they seem trustworthy.

It was my first experience with Lukes. Friendly staff got me in for service quickly. Communication was great and they brought a couple of safety issues to my attention. They made me aware of the costs and I asked that they make necessary repairs. In short order I was back on the road and am very pleased with the whole experience. I took my 1996 Mustang GT for an front tires and an alignment. Recieved a call later in the day. The tech told me the tires were done, but my inner tie rods were shot so a proper alignment was not possible. They kept the car for another day. The parts were ordered and installed. The charge was less than the quote, and the car handled better than ever. Fast forward three weeks... I began to hear noises from the front end of the car. I pulled into my driveway and cycled the steering wheel full left then right. As I approached full right the newly installed drivers side tie rod let loose. Lukes gave me a warranty tow company number and I arranged the tow back to Lukes. A tech looked at the issue the next morning and informed me that the threads had been stripped on of the rack and pinion steering stud the inner tie rod was attached to. The repairs were made at no cost to me including a new steering rack and reimbursement for the tow. I will absolutely have future work done at Lukes Auto because they stand behind their work!Thank you!

Got some new tires and they are great and dealing with the fellas is great also. The only thing that I was disappointed in was that when you buy tires there they do not rotate them free of charge during an oil change. That is not good business from what I’m use to.

Honest mechanic. I couldnt trust my old one so I switched to Luke 5 years ago and I have always had a good experience.

If I have the time, I do all of my own mechanic work. However, when you need an alignment, you need a shop to do that. My wife found a coupon somewhere and pointed me to Lukes. After looking the car over, they told me that the left upper ball joint was bad and that paying for an alignment was worthless until that was fixed- they are correct. They quoted me a reasonable amount to fix it. Being a bit skeptical, and able to check a ball joint on my own, I took the car home and jacked it up. You guessed it, the ball joint was bad on that side.If that was not enough, I had them pull the codes from a check engine light for me. They quoted me a half hour of labor, and not only did they pull the codes, they fixed three vacuum lines that they found that had cracked. If they charged me for the vacuum tubing, it was under $2.00.The place had a good feel about it and they certainly earned my trust today.

I have used Lukes Auto Repair a few times in the past years. When I had older trucks I brought one in for some work and he was straight forward on what was wrong and what should be fixed and what we didnt need to fix. When the problem wasnt clear I appreciated that he tried some less expensive trouble shooting ideas versus just going with the $600 repair. I now have newer cars and I havent needed him to do any work, but I have bought tires from him and he has also repacked my trailer bearings. I called and suggested that we replace all 4 bearings but after looking at them he said i didnt need them replaced just 1 of them was bad. That is the honesty that I like about Lukes Auto Repair!!

SCCA members, FFR members, Hobbiest, and Classic car owners beware! Thought I’d try a new shop to see if we could find another enthusiast-friendly shop. Luke’s is NOT one. Luke, you upcharged parts by 100%! I know the exact price of trailer brakes for my needs. I offered you a chance to show reputable honest service, but you got greedy. Actual cost of complete drum brakes are $65 each (in my case times 4 for my race trailer). After your shop assessed the situation, they informed me the cost for parts and labor would be $775.I saw the notes (in writing) which you made your employees call and tell me. You marked down $64 for right side x2 (correct) then you marked down x2 on that total (100% mark up). You equally did the same for the left side - with the x2 (100% mark up). Thus you must have calculated in $263 for labor?You could have had great advertising, but you blew it. Members beware.10/5/17. Follow up to my review left yesterday. Upon leaving the review, Luke personally reached out to clarify the situation the next day. Informs that he is privately owned, strives for customer satisfaction. Indicates that the full extent of work needed might not have been shared.
