They truly know everything there is to know about bikes, and take time to explain and walk you through so you know what to expect. I had my commuting road bike tuned up with additional work done, new tires installed, all in a few days. Their turnaround is prompt and their rates are very fair. Ill be back!

For around a year now, when switching from my 2nd to 3rd gear, it would jump to the 4th gear, and I wanted to finally get it fixed. I looked up bike shops near me and I am glad that I decided on visiting this one. The guy fixing my bike knew exactly what he was working with, and got the job done in a much quicker time than I thought it wouldve required. I would definitely recommend this bike shop whether youre interested in purchasing accessories for your bike, purchasing bikes themselves, or needing to get your bike repaired.

Very nice people Robbie and Danny and they will both be there to help and will stick around and answer all questions ontill customers are satisfied. I got a wheel trued and assumed when I got my bike back I could finish tuning the diraller that was new with the tires. Well they did me a solid and slightly adjusted my diraller for me. My bike has never run so silky smoothbefore. I am newer to the area and found this bike shop. I bought a new specialized helmet and I was very pleased with the experience and the product. I met professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff. The store has a good selection of products to choose from. As a nurse, I was also very pleased with how they handled everything during this current pandemic while keeping their employees and customers safe. I highly recommend them and will be visiting again.

I took my bike in to get a new tire. While we waited, I told the man helping me that my little one and i would be at the park right near by and we would come back when it was ready. As it turned out, while we were swinging at the park, the man showed up and had to ask me a question about which tire to put on. He walked all the way to the park with two tires to show me! I was absolutely amazed at the service! It looked like he was happy to help! I wish I would have caught his name, but I very much appreciated the extra effort!

After contacting nearly 60 shops from around our Illinois home, to as far as Minneapolis, we were lucky to locate this gem. Looking for a bike during this shortage is a miserable experience at best. Let alone making a 4 hour trek in hopes the Shop actually has the bike you’re looking for. Luckily for us, that shop was Coulee. Not only were we met by an extremely pleasant individual ripe with knowledge, but also the exact bike we were looking for. The shopkeep set the bike aside and would not sell it to another individual until we had seen it first, even being 4 hours away. He aloud us to ride freely, even giving me a bike to use to accompany my wife during her ride with out question. Once we decided on the bike, the shop made sure it was sized appropriately and took care of every question we had. If you are in need of a bike, you would be doing yourself a great disservice by not coming here. Aside from the great customer service, they actually have stock of sub 3k bikes in popular sizes. Which as of now I nearly impossible. Stop on by and check em out.

Rob and Danny are great at fixing our bikes and know me and my boys by name. They fix our bikes whenever we need help, no waiting for the small issues. They are part of our community, and Im grateful to have them within biking distance.

I’ve rented/borrowed a couple bikes from Coulee Bicycle Co, and I’ve been so happy every time! The staff are really helpful and accommodating, and the bikes are BEAUTIFUL! Their Specialized electric mountain bike was so much fun to ride on the Human Powered Trails. Highly recommend!

The value of a local bike shop can not be overlook and Coulee Bike Co has been wonderful. While we are blessed to have an area full of wonderful bike shops Coulee Bike Co has certainly become a favorite for me. They have helped me pick out the perfect light for late night Mtn bike rides and it is awesome. There was a manufacturer issue with the light about 6 months after purchase but Coulee Bike Co stood behind the products they sell and had a replacement for me within a week. They have helped advise on products and I have had a wonderful experience with them every time I go in to the shop. Thank you to Robbie and staff for your expertise and support of the local cycling community.

Great shop with very friendly staff. They fixed up my husbands bike, and the owner, Robbie, even showed me how to hook up our trailer to the bike. Will definitely be bringing all my business here in the future.

Had 2 flat tires at mile 20 out of 50. Walked in to this shop and they were immediately super helpful! Replaced my tubes and offered more tubes and cartridges to be safe the the rest of the ride. Really nice guys!

I stopped into Coulee on a trip across Wisconsin with the prayer that they would have the wide sized (700x40) tires that I wanted. Not only did Kevin get me rolling with awesome tires off of his take offs rack but he also gave my bike a quick tune up and made it feel great again.Super friendly shop with awesome service and a personal staff. I would definitely check them out if you need anything done on your bike.

When I was looking for a used fat tire inner tube, Robbie went above and beyond to get me one. I always enjoy stopping in to BS with the crew at Coulee Bicycle.

I stopped by while riding the river trail because my brakes failed. I looked up there it was right across the street. So I went over and he threw it up on his repair stand and fixed it right away. In the mean time he made me a super nice latte and we talked about coffee for a long time and then we talked about vintage audio for a long time and when he was done with the bike (including a new rear derailleur) I walked out of there with a bike that rode great for a very good price and a new friend. Too bad Im from St. Paul. Thanks Kevin.

I walked in and Kevin fixed my unicycle in 15 minutes. Now it runs better then it ever has before. Kevin knows what he is doing, is really friendly, and the store is just really cool. I would definitely recommend this store to anybody with a bike or unicycle that needs repairs.

Great bike and coffee store

Robbie has done nothing but good things here since he took over the shop.Everyone Ive talked to here is very knowledgeable, and provided excellent service. Its hard for a small shop to stock tons of variety, but they can order in unique items pretty fast. Still my favorite bike shop in the city by far!!! Shop local.

My favorite local bike shop! Stopped by a few months ago looking for a bike for my girlfriend. They were about to close but were willing to help us out. My girlfriend decided the comfort cruiser bikes Blue Heron carries were similar to what she was looking for. She found the exact bike she wanted elsewhere but I came back to Blue Heron after a terrible experience at Dicks Sporting Goods and found the mountain bike I wanted! I even brought it in to get a quick tune up and they took care of me right away.I will keep coming back to this store as long as I am in the area!

Fixed my bike on the spot while I waited. Very friendly, helpful staff. Offered me coffee while I waited and gave my bike a complimentary check up since I hadnt used it in a while. Will definitely be back!

A great shop that provides outstanding customer service!

I brought a group of 8 girls for bike rentals and they were super helpful getting everyone sized. There is gorgeous nature trail right there.

I was in and out the door within minutes for a simple bike repair, and the staff were extremely friendly!

Service has always been reasonable and accurate. Now that they have evolved away from sales and more toward a service focus. Maintenance and repairs seem faster and yet maintaining the high quality.

Came in for a quick tire tube change. They were quick and the prices couldnt be beat! Great service and great experience.

Didnt find the bike we were looking for, but the shop was quaint and very well organized. The guy at the cashier desk gave us all the information we needed and even kindly helped us redirect us to a different bike shop. I would highly suggest using this bike shop over any other one in the Onalaska area.

The new focus on repairs and coffee makes the store very approachable, especially for the non-elite biker. Ive brought several bicycles to Coulee Bicycle Co for service over the past two years. Kevin, the owner, has always been very pleasant to work with and their prices are very reasonable. I brought in a bicycle after a crash and a mechanic gave me a quote for the repairs. The next day Kevin called me and said that when they took the bike apart they found there were more parts that needed to be replaced. He worked with me to adjust the tuneup package so that even with the additional parts (new rear rim and axle), I paid approximately the same as my original quote. Additionally, I generally ask how he repairs things and Kevin is always more than willing to show me what he did. So not only do I get a great deal from a friendly local bike shop, but I learn more about my bike in the process.

The most helpful bike repair expert i have ever worked with. He has coffee forwhile you wait, he is quick to diagnose and repair. He is knowledgeable, detail oriented and treated my bike like it was his own. Heres to hoping you dont need repairs, but if you do hope that youre by this place.

Stopped near closing time looking to test ride, not really intending to purchase a new bike. Kevin was super helpful, went over everything, changed a bike stem for a better fit, never mentioned it was well past closing time, and sealed the deal with a great price on a quality ride.
