We love River Trail Cycles! Emily is very knowledgeable and helped me pick out amazing bikes for my 3 daughters as they have grown. I recently discovered that they sell snowshoes and rent out various bikes including tantum bikes and also rent out bike trailers and tag-along bikes for kids! This shop is top notch and also sells some goods from local artists (very cute bike themed face masks!). I cant praise this place enough.

I was hoping to rent a bike from these guys and I emailed them ahead of time to ensure they were open. They were unfortunately restricted as a result of COVID, but were prompt with their email back to me and gave me great direction to rent bikes for the day for my upcoming trip. Great experience. We walked in knowing just the bare essentials on what bikes would best serve our needs. They spent a ton of time with both my wife and I answering our questions and gave us options on things to better research on our own. No pushy sales, addressed our needs, and set us up with the right bikes for our needs. We even ended up buying a used bike for our son. Terrific experience.

We were looking for a bike for my 11-year-old son and Emily took the time to fit him appropriately show him the different options to help him make a great choice. We did check out all the other bike shops in the area and didn’t have as much luck as we did here. Emily even worked late to get my son’s bike put together just in time for his birthday. We are so pleased and love her large, clean, friendly store.

Lots of bikes and accessories. I havent bought anything yet, but will be visiting again to look for a new bike. I dropped off a bike that was sitting in a garage probably 25 years for their used bike program. They happily accepted it and I gave them a few dollars for parts. Hopefully they will get it repurposed and someone will get a new-to-them bike to ride.

River Trail Cycles is a terrific bicycle shop and so much more! Owner Emily is fantastic and her associates are friendly and helpful.This shop is a great place to find new and used bicycles for all types of riding and a huge selection of clothing, accessories and high performance nutritional items.Dan and his team in the Service Department are knowledgeable and experienced. They do great work for me and many others I am acquainted with.It is always a pleasure to do business with River Trail Cycles.

Im a very active cyclist and have visited about 25 shops over the past 25 years. Ive been to River Trails about a dozen times over the past 10 years. The owner and lead mechanic are the best Ive come across. Theyre passionate and work hard. Most of all, theyve given me great advice to help me become a faster rider and to enjoy it more. Ive bought mostly clothing, lube, tools, and gels over the years. My next bike just might be from River Trails... River Trails is among the best bike shops in the Midwest.

This store is fantastic. The selection of not only bikes, but accessories is fantastic. The staff are all very nice, and extremely helpful. It is also right off of the bike trail. I cant recommend this store enough!

Always incredible customer service, unbeatable prices.

I was disappointed, went there to get a rental while in town, 4 adult bikes, a follow behind for the 4 year old, kids bike for 10 year old, 4 trail passes. 120 dollars or so for the day was reasonable but was told they could not help with a kids bike. I asked about renting a used bike. Told Nope. Talked to manager, she said it was not worth it to them cause they would have to clean it afterwards. Business must be awesome if they turn down 120 dollars because hosing down a 90 dollar used bike is too much work. There is another shop 1 mile down the road that accommodated us.

Ive been a customer for years. Whether you are a casual cyclist (like me) or a diehard cyclist they will take very good care of you. I have never been disappointed with the level of service Ive received there. Its a great place with great people. :-)

My husband and I have bought 4 bikes from Emily, the owner, we have never received any less than 5 star treatment from her people and her. We follow her recommendations on all our parts and get all of our maintenance done there. I would recommend River Trail Cycles to any one looking for a starter bike to a professional road racer.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This is hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I can ever attest to. I would STRONGLY suggest taking your business elsewhere, as I will never step foot in this store again. I am not typically the type to leave a review, but this situation upset me so much that I am. I wont go into specifics (due to the embarrassing experience that this store instigated) but I really, really hope that this review reaches someone, maybe a potential customer, and they choose to not spend their hard-earned money here. I would NEVER want someone else going through this same situation, and as someone who works in customer service, I understand dealing with people all day and potentially losing your patience, but what this store did is completely UNPROFESSIONAL and UNACCEPTABLE, and I will never support it again. I am all for supporting small, local businesses, but honestly, you would be better off on Amazon. Horrendous. Awful. Terrible. Not enough negative adjectives to describe my disappointment in this business.

Today I took my bike in for a tire repair. The service was very fast and excellent. The lady who helped me provided me with the information needed and went above and beyond. On top of changing out my tire, she lubed up my chain, secured my bike computer sensor and gave me a new magnet! I will only be taking my bike here from now on =)

Was very dissatisfied when I came in to rent out a tandem bike for a date after have called ahead and already payed, only to have the bike taken away from me just as I got on the seat and told someone else called ahead too. Worst customer service and organization I have ever received anywhere.

I have never been treated so badly in the bikes are in my life Ive been cycling for over 30 years I can walked in with a $3,000 bike that needed to be fixed after a vandalism and they walk right away for me to carry it back home I will never come into the store again
