My experience at this Price chopper was the best. Several times in the store could not maneuver myself even though they had aisle 1,2,3,4,5 etc... listed what was in the aisle. Twice I stopped employees and they stop doing what they were doing in the store to help me and they did. Store was well stocked and it was not hard to get a rain- check.

Good prices good people fresh food

There is, apparently, a new Digital Coupon, system and nobody in this store could actually explain how it works, because they dont understand it either. The cashier in this store, didnt even attempt to help me when I asked questions, so I abandoned all 150$ plus dollars of my groceries. It seems almost intentional, that a store would deceive customers into buying things which you otherwise wouldnt need, by giving PRINT COUPONS that are actually WORTHLESS unless you go through a ridiculously technical ordeal on the internet which includes giving out a ton of personal info.

I would love it if you merged with ShopRite.

I am a huge fan of Price Chopper. Their meat is excellent unlike Walmarts shoe leather meat. The produce is also very good and doesnt spoil within two days like BJs. I love the selection of cheeses and Deli Foods. Price Chopper overall seems to be cleaner and more organized than either of the other local grocery stores. I am not a paid actor, it is my honest opinion.

I am a person of color. I have never once in my life felt like I was targeted until I step foot into this price chopper. I was harassed to the point where I didn’t even want to buy what I had. I work in a nursing home so I had quite a few of different medicines. I would’ve had at least $400 worth of product had I continued shopping but a lady named Janet literally followed me around the whole store as I put stuff in my bag. I was turning weird corners and walking random places just to see if I was being targeted! There were about 50 other people who were shopping there but Of course I was targeted. I then left to use the bathroom at Walgreens because Price chopper‘s was out of order. Janet proceeded to follow me with another employee into Walgreens when I decided not to purchase anything from the price chopper location! This was my last straw . I approached her and asked her for her name and told her that I was going to make a review she refused to give me her name and kept walking away when I called for I had to run up to her and read her name badge to actually get a name. I am beyond frustrated and I will definitely be calling whoever I need to to get this issue resolved! As I was asking Janet for her name her and her coworker laughed as they said “I don’t have a name”. Totally unprofessional and unacceptable. I was racially profiled and in today’s world I refuse to except that as a normality.

Price chopper has been in this community for such a long time now. When you walk in, your treated like family and thats because a lot of the staff have been there for 20 to almost 40 years. Theyre friendly they know you by name and very knowledgeable with the product they sell. The quality of there produce out of this world. Top notch seafood and meat department. Its worth stopping in just for the atmosphere.

Great products when on sale and have a membership card otherwise can be quite expensive. Has some things you can only find there and I will go out of my way to get it here. Clean store and friendly smiling staff members.

I like this store cause they have great deals, if you have coupons & a price chopper card to save on prices its even better. I think their deli department has fresh meat as well as their breads & fruit bowls they sell.

Wish Curbside was available (like Walmart and Hannaford). Prices steep unless on sale BOGO or # for $. But, best seafood in the area. Always good produce. Clean store. And great frozen section. Has a Redbox outside (which is great). Can get Lottery, Flowers. Also has the best bakery in the area.

The prices are high, unless you shop their deals and have an AdvantEdge card to look for what will give you extra points. I really love coming here for their selection of coffee! Its the broadest collection I have found around Cooperstown and Oneonta. My fiancé and I are coffee lovers and we love to try every dark blend we can find. This location also has a much better selection of... well, everything, compared to the location in Cooperstown. If they were cheaper this would be our go-to store.

I recently shopped at your store and I paid with my debit card, I requested $50 cash back and I was charged .50¢ for this. I know its a small amount but Ive never been charged to get cash back when making a purchase anywhere over many years, my card policy even says there wont be charges at stores. Overall store was clean, stocked well, but when I complained about charge the cashier treated me rudely.

Pretty good Price Chopper. Great deli, produce, and seafood. Meat counter is really good too; they are one of the few places so far from Binghamton that carry Lupos pre-marinated speedies and their great Italian chicken sausages. Coffee selection is lacking.

Definitely a great place to take advantage of the sales! Check inserts in newspapers and stock up when the sales are going on!

Their a little high priced, but I do most of my shopping at Aldis. I go to price chopper for last minute things

Ive been shopping at the Oneonta, NY Price Chopper for many years. Our store is a great place to shop. The produce is generally fresh, and Robert is always pleasant and helpful. The bakery had a dreadful manager for awhile but hes gone. The bread, rolls and many other goodies are fresh baked and I can often get a still-warm loaf of bread. The Deli has some helpful and pleasant folks there as well. Tara is always just as delightful as can be...and so helpful. Ah yes, the Fish Monger at our store was simply fabulous but he moved to another store. The new folks in that area are doing great. I love that the butchers will offer advice on various cuts of meat and will cut it so it works for me. When I go to check out, I look for Patricia or Jacki to be on register, these ladies are quick, accurate, and delightful. And when Im ready to leave, Gary helps me get the groceries into my car. I so enjoy the people, they make my shopping experience easy and pleasant.

Amazing Bakery- Fresh Donuts and Bagels every day of the week! They are open til 1 am which is super convenient.(Thank you for satisfying my late-night sweet tooth!) Next to Walmart prices. Ill definitely be doing more shopping here in the future.

Decent product selection, but the cashiers are too chatty.

There are no shade trees in the parking lot, and it gets very hot in the summer, and sometimes earlier. They moved the bottled water section including the fancy types like FIJI further from the registers towards the back of the store, and then have small bottled water overpriced at $2.00 near the register. They used to be four star in products--they do have a variety of organic products and decent sales, but last week I went to buy organic celery there were two types, and one type did not have the price when I brought them to the register, so it is not well run sometimes.

As always Price chopper has a decent selection.

I love their cakes, however whoever took my order a week ago did not relay it properly and when I got here to pick it up it isnt ready, I left my number to be reached in case of any problems but was never contacted and Ive waited over a half an hour to be helped. Communication could definitely be improved.

Best Butcher and Seafood from a chain supermarket in our area. Decent NYC style bagels and excellent produce as well. Nice bakery and desserts. Shelves always stocked and the lines may get long at times, but are always better than competitors. Good organic / health food section as well.

Ive never not had a good experience at Price Chopper in our area this store by far is one of the best in the area manager is always willing to help if we cant find what we need, and occasionally if we do find something that we end up buying that was wrong we didnt like there is never a problem returning it for full refund. The prices are awesome

Meat and produce are excellent. The butcher counter is top-notch and the service is terrific. The rest of the store has a huge selection of everything you might need. Large seafood section. Bagels, bread and full bake shop as well.

Well stocked, friendly,helpful staff, store clean, lots of parking. Good amount of organic food, excellent soup. Parking lot in the Oneonta store is a slip and fall lawyers dream. Tar and gravel and paint would be wonderful. Only four stars because of the parking lot.

The store is clean and neat. The employees are very friendly. They are very friendly and capable of helping you find items you might not be able to locate yourself. If they dont know where an item might be they will find an employee that will be able to find it. Also if they dont have a specific item/flavor they can request it for you.

Cashier opened line for me and was so helpful when I had to get my order straight. Always enjoy shopping there. Great quality food!

One great store to shop for groceries. Check out is only area where they are pushed to be like others self check out. They realize cashier interactions get more customers.

I have gone several times lately and have been really disappointed in their bakery. Last time we purchased their macaroni salad and this was just horrible.

Always been my go to for fresh meat and veggies. Clean and friendly people. The butcher on the hand not so much. Plan to generally be ignored and get no help at all.otherwise not bad.

Best fish market in town, and the place to go if you need something uncommon in the produce department - their fruits and vegetables selection is the areas best. I prefer the local Aldis for staples due to price and the local Hannaford for meats but the Price Chopper really does have the best variety.
