Do your homework before purchasing a home with this dealership. You are forgotten after you close. Its been over 30 days since closing and no site prep has started or schedule. Its always the excuses Next week weather permitting which Ive been told on 2 occasions or the contractor has other sites scheduled. Rich of R&D Excavating who Clayton contracted to do all their site prep is more concerned about finding ways to raise the price for the work quoted. Its obvious they have no say about schedules or deadlines with their contractor. Clayton even tries to pass THEIR CONTRACTOR on to you by giving you Richs cell number to call for updates. When you do your lucky to get a response days later. This past Friday I asked if hell be showing up the weekend as he scheduled? His response through text was Not sure yet. Nothing after that until Sunday only after reaching out to Clayton on Saturday about the poor customer. The entire process has become extremely frustrating and tiring.Buyer beware!!!!!!!

Renee at Clayton Homes is awesome. I just closed on my mortgage and Renee helped out every step of the way being the middle person between me and the bank and she didn’t take any BS from the bank and got answers when we needed them.

My mother purchased a double wide home from this company in August 2016. We have had problems from the start. The person (Roger) that they send out for repairs was very nice and very responsive, however the issues we have had are numerous. Our first clues of what was to come were the fact that the workers left nails strewn all of the roof that we found when construction was done. We had to have them come back to put the drain pipes under the kitchen sink back together because the sections of pipe literally fell apart/were not properly installed. They are careless and sloppy. Many things Roger had to come and fix within the first year. Now after four and a half years the home needs a A NEW ROOF. They admit that they dont use basic supplies such as ice and water shield, even on homes that pay for the upgraded winter/Northeast package. If you are purchasing a new home from this company thinking that you will be free of major repairs for years to come, think again. This company does shoddy work and I would not recommend to anyone. Check out Alvarez homes instead. Update: learned that there is ice and water shield on the home that was not installed properly. Awaiting return call from the manager to discuss.

Great company to work with. I would recommend them to anyone That is ready to buy a home. David Morris was our Sales person and he was great he helped us through every step of the home buying process. He made sure that we were happy with everything, Also want to Include Dan Bushey because he was also very helpful and made sure we were happy, and also came to our lot while our house was being set to make sure everything went smooth, they did everything they said they would do and more to make sure we were happy in our new home. From the time we ordered our home we had our home within 5 to 6 weeks at our lot. We have been in our home for 1 year and they have contacted us through the year periodically to make sure everything is going well in our new home. Our family couldn’t be any happier. Great people to work with. We worked with Brian as a sales consultant. He did everything imaginable to help us and answred every question we had. We weren’t just a sale to him, he was sincere with all the advice and always did what was best for our future.

We worked all summer on a floor plan, had everything picked out. We were told we were within our budget and by the end of it then we were told that we were way over our budget. And we hadnt even factored in the price of the land so we were way over budget and they would not build on the property that we wanted and we would have to look for different property and then come to find out the lady that we were working with ended up getting fired.

Okay. Wont go out of their way to get you into a home.
