Incredibly helpful! I phoned them to ask a question and they spent five minutes reading through a newspaper for me and giving all sorts of practical advice. Excellent service and knowledge, would never get this level of care from a mall store. Ask for Roberta!

Roberta was so helpful sending my cousin a book for Christmas. Being abroad I had to do everything over email and paypal. Even with my limitations, Roberta had the best care, attention to detail, and service.

My mom used to bring my little brother and I here since we were in grade school....and that was what feels like decades ago. I now have a daughter and she had her first he trip to the bookstore yesterday. Ive always likes coming here for current things like tattoo magazines and books which you cant get everywhere and my boyfriend is into reading Mangas so he goes there for that or Asian art books and magazines. I also like that they are more than happy to order something for you if they dont have it. They have some pretty OLD stuff as well and Ive found some childhood jewels as well as the first edition of my favorite book.

Nice afable people attending the store, due to the covid19 restrictions you cant browse inside but they will happily look on the shelves for you

I pass Newsboy Books all the time but this was the first time I stopped in. Im glad I did! You cant tell from the windows outside, but it is a fabulous bookstore inside! My expectations are never high with brick and mortar (who can have a shop that holds everything?) if I had been looking for a particular book or author, they would have had something I could have walked out of there with to curl up with on a rainy weekend! The lady working there {possibly the owner} seemed to have great intuition about when to ask if I needed assistance, and was very helpful. My only criticism might be that I have one certain, semi obscure, author I follow, and they did not have their latest book. But they could have gotten it asap, Im assured, if I really needed it (I dont). Highly recommended!

Lots of old dusty books. I have allergies and asthma. It was hard for me to breathe. Store needs to be organized better. If a fire broke out, chances of getting out alive are slim. Nothing personal. I love bookstores, but Newsboy Books can make a couple of small changes that would make things much better.

I will never buy from these people again. I called and was looking for the KOBE SI when it came out. They said we have them. But they are $30. Im sorry but they just came out today. OVER charging people to make money. Thats just sad.

Been going here for 40 or more years, has a home town feel and large selection.

Awesome collection of art & architecture books. Wish there was more organization as far as by style or by artist/designer, but amazing selection!

I discovered Newsboy Books while walking the Ontario Route 66 Cruising Reunion Car Show. Its was pleasant finding past issues of magazines and out of print books.

The people were very helpful and knowledgeable. This is by far the best bookstore in this city.

They have the magazines I wanted and always do.
